It took a bit of asking around but she had finally gotten the address to Katt's bakery. Walking down the street she was very glad for the good weather they seemed to be having.

Wearing the usual black band hoodie with a Pink Floyd logo on it, hiphugging black skinny jeans, and Converse completed the outfit. The hood up to hide her hair and features from any curious on-lookers. As excited about the wedding she was she did try to keep some things low-key. One could only take getting barraged with a million questions everyday for so long.

Tucked under her arm was a binder with sketches and drawings done by her brother. He said they were ideas for the cake. She trusted her brother to an extent.

Stopping in front of the shop she would read the sign just to re-affirm she was in the right place. Placing a hand on the door she would push it open as she moved inside. Letting her eyesight adjust and the door close behind her. Taking a brief look around before calling here, "Hello? Is anyone here? It's Darcy I have an order for a wedding cake I'd like to place."

She immediately brightened up when she saw Katt as well as feeling relief. This was just one more step to getting the wedding planned. Moving over towards Katt she smiled in greeting, "Hello there it's good to see you again."

Forest hues wandering over the present chaos she gave a bit of a chuckle, "Yup this is about what my room looks like on a daily basis. Not to mention the kitchen would always be a mess if it wasn't for my brother."

Finding a place to sit she would do so and would find a clear spot to set down the folder which contained the drawings, "My brother went crazy in drawing up ideas for the cake he wants to help in anyway he can. He said it doesn't matter if his ideas are used or not but he wanted to contribute."

Indicating the folder with a nod so Katt could have a look if she wanted to. In the meantime she herself would slowly look about the place and take in the shop.

Forest hues looking back to Katt she chuckled softly, "Well now you can see I am serious. I just want everything to be well awesome of course."

Grinning from ear to ear as she continued on, "Well colors I was thinking white and red roses made of frosting? Flavors I would like layers of chocolate and white with chocolate and strawberry filling inbetween the layers. I mean...Does that sound good?"

She asked really relying on the woman's opinion. To her question she smiled, "His name is David. If it wasn't for the piercings, black hair, the fact he's a guy and taller than me we'd be twins. He flirts with anything that breathes it comes naturally to him and he doesn't mean any harm by it. But figured I'd give you a head's up."

At the offer of a treat she brightened up once more, "Oh coffee sounds lovely!"

Waving to the one Katt had called Cordy to order her coffee. Once more bringing her attention back to Katt, "Well there are some things I like but I would also like to see what your ideas are since you're the one baking it."

Grinning brightly to Katt's ideas, "You know that sounds great! I like the whole cake and cupcake idea. That way the guests can take some of the cupcakes home. Oh! I could find little containers to put them in along with take away bags for the food."

Thinking this idea was absolutely brilliant she smiled satisfied. She then nodded to Katt's words, "You're right! If they don't like it they won't have to eat it. That'll be more snacks for me and Ven when we go on our honeymoon!"

Her drink delivered she gave wide eyes to the multiple of hearts, "Sometimes I wish I could draw and make awesome things like this. Thank you!"

Bowing her head in thanks she would pick up the cup for a small sip and smiled at the taste. About her brother she giggled then, "Trust me it doesn't matter with him. So long as he thinks you're drop dead gorgeous he'll chat you up. He is taken and knows it but he still tries to exercise his charm. Like I said he's harmless and if he's told no once he'll stop but he can't help it."

Now shrugging as she took another sip, "Well I would like the frosting to either be white or off-white whichever one may look better. Either red roses or a soft shade of red to go with the main frosting with leaves of course. And those cute swirly designs bordering the layers of the cake. The cupcakes could either have roses for the frosting or just a plain flat top with those cute swirly designs."

Cute swirly designs yes that was very specific and not vague at all.

She eyed the sketchbook and pencil a bit waringly. After thinking for a moment she would pull it towards her. Speaking as she doodled, "Like I said I don't have an artistic bone in my body when it comes to drawing. I can sing, dance, and play guitar and that's about it."

Finished she showed Katt the drawing of grass, a house, flowers, clouds, sun, and stick figures. Artwork that could've been done by a five year old. Smiling, "See? Told ya. I relieve stress by baking brownies mostly and now sewing together outfits for my hatchling siblings."

To Katt's question she tilted her head a bit thinking before answering, "I'm just gonna wing it and say surprise me! I'm sure I'll love it no matter what because you're making it." Giving her a bright shiny smile.

She fidgeted a bit nervously as Katt studied her drawing. Then smiling as her cheeks flushed slightly to the compliment, "Thank you. With those kind of compliments you'll make people want to strive to be the next Picasso or Warhol."

That bright shiny smile still on her face she nodded as she took another sip from the coffee cup, "Trust me it takes a lot to make me angry despite all of my outbursts."

Now shrugging as she giggled just a bit, "Oh you won't have to worry about me eating it! With this slight diet I've been on to keep my 'girlish figure' up I'll be famished for your cake!"

Finishing her coffee she sets the cup aside as she pulled out her wallet and opened it, "Alright, now that the hard part is over how much do I owe you? And please let me at least give you something for it. Mai won't let me give her anything even if I give her the excuse it's for her baby."

Chuckling slightly and shaking her head, "If you're going to work hard to provide me and my future husband yummy goodness at least let me pay for it."

She opened her mouth to protest but then closed it as she listened to Katt. She stared at her pretty intently for a few moments letting her talk. After a quiet moment she sighed and nodded. Giving her a smile even if she did look slightly defeated, "Alright I will let you slide this once. But just so you know I will find some way to repay for you for your kindness."

Her smile broadening just a bit. Even though her and her brother had grown up pretty well off that still didn't mean they didn't have any concept of compassion and kindness. Shaking her head slightly, "I'm sure it'll be quite the masterpiece and I won't be disappointed."

Katt's question had her entire face flush red. Giggling girlishly she shook her head, "No I am not. Ven and I think we'll get a pet and a plant before we think about having kids. Baby steps, you know?" That smile turning into a bright grin.

If that was a challenge then she accepted it! Grinning as she got up. Despite her brother taking some of the load off she had things to do! Regarding Katt's words with a smile she giggled just slightly, "I'll take that as a compliment then. Is it okay if I give my brother this address? He's a bit of a worry wart and may swing by to check on things."

Shrugging just a tad as she looked around the shop then deciding on something, "Can I have a baker's dozen of those chocolate cupcakes over there? They look delicious."

Pointing to said cupcakes. She had been sneaking glances and eyeing them. Her mouth was watering just a bit. She wasn't going to admit out loud that they were all for her. No sir.

Hungrily she watched Katt prepare the brownies. Was she drooling? She hoped not. Giving her a smile at the mention of her brother, "Don't worry he knows his boundaries and will behave like the gentleman he is."

Smile brightening up a bit, "Again there's no worries so long as it's delicious and you have a good time when you come to the wedding."

The look on her face and in her eyes said she meant it. Taking the box when it was handed to her she gave out a small sound in delight, "Sundae cupcakes sound heavenly!"
