Eiellani Longden sat curled in a chair it the dinning room at longden castle instructing people where to place the furniture purchased at the marketplace. Normally she would have been up and fussing over the slightest details, but she could not seem to shake the nagging feeling of exhaustion. The midwife had assured her that that was all quite normal, it was just a part of the baby growing inside her, but sometimes Lani had to wonder.

"Lillia! Make them put the china chest by the window Like I instructed! Why in heavens name do they insist on placing beautiful things in dark corners around here?"

The golden oak and glass cabinet was swiftly placed as she instructed, and Lillia and some of the other maids set to filling it with the newly purchased china, just for that purpose. The china was a delicate white porceline, traced with a network of cobalt vines, which cradled dragons in a faintly oriental style picked out in colbalt and gold.

Other servants placed chairs around the newly aqquired table, a massive affair of golden oak polished till it glowed, supported on legs carved into the images of Oriantal maidens, each uniquie and each preforming a task related to preparing a meal.

The table was topped with a deep blue table runner, swirls of gold embrodidery from a distance could be seen to mimic the dragon pattern of the china. Each place was set with more of the fine china, flatware plated in gold, with enamaled lotus flowers twining down the handles, and crystal tinted cobalt at the foot, fading up to a pristine clarity edged again in gold.

In the center of the table a large urn filled with ivy and easter lilly was arranged, and flanked by massive candlelabras formed into dancing dragons.

Lani smiled and moved to straighten one of the new paintings on the wall. pearl like translucent silk would be backlit with small candles set into the frame, to bring forward more maidens. A flicker of movement at her waist distraved her from her task, a hand fluttering to caress the soft mound of her growin belly.

Things were deffinately growing and changing here at Longden castle, Lani only prayed they were for the better.
