Jade was in the relationship for all the wrong reasons, and she broke it off for equally as wrong reasons.
She would be the first to admit she never loved Gabe, through all that he did for her - he was just another toy for her.
Then again, she would also be the first to admit that she was a horrible horrible WHOREible person.

He was never the one she wanted, but still he was there. When things looked down for one relationship, she turned to him for a good time. Jade told him she was going to teach him a few new things, and she did.
She had her fun and let him go; she just needed a stupid reason to let him go.
And Jade found one. A small spider accused him of cheating, then so did she. It was stupid and she knew he'd never do such a thing to her, but still she accused away then broke his heart. She feed it to him with a spoon.
She was doing a lot of that lately.
