"Helen!" Jade shouted as she made her way down a long tunnel way in her new set of caverns and rooms under her former house. These rooms were her new home.

She was followed by a gaggle of male vampires - all big, buff, three times her size, and cloaked in dark clothing. Jade herself was wearing little more than a black leather top, a long black skirt clinging to her hips, and her ever thudding knee high boots. They rounded the tunnels by torch light. They stopped at a set of large wooden door. Two men at her sides pulled the doors open for her.

The room that they openned up to was a large altar room. Shrines to all the watchtowers and their directional quarters. In the middle was a massive demonic sigil. The little old vampire lady was finishing up tying an elven girl in her early twenties in the middle of the sigil. The girl's screams were muffled by a gag.

"Are you finished?" Jade peered down to the older woman.

"Yes, Mistress. Her blood is pure. Her body is pure. She's perfect," Helen said as she stood with much effort.

"Shut the door, and stay outside this room," she barked at the vampires that had walked her in. After they left, she spoke again to Helen, "Where did you find her?"

"We found her in the Elven Woods north of here," she said quietly. "I can smell her power surging through her blood."

"Ah, the magical blood of an Elvish virgin. If I were a vampire, I might just die," she giggled. Jade waltzed giddy-like to the girl, kneeling to move the gag, "Girl, what is your name?"

"Idril... Please, let me go," her fleety voice tried not to shake. "My father is a great nobleman in the Elven country..."

"Which means your family is high and powerful. Blood is strong and pure, am I right?" She did not wait for the answer, for she pulled the gag back in place. "Say hello to the Dark Maiden, will you? You're Lilith's gift."

The girl started screaming a horrible scream, though muffled. She jerked and kicked, but Helen was crafty with her knots.

"You got a noble?" Jade rose a pierced brow at Helen, "This will cause quite a stir. Aside from the other disarray I'm bringing."

Small shoulders gave a shrug, "We got the strongest elf we could find."

"Did she not fight back?"
"Surprisingly, no."
"What a wuss. Those elves sometimes... not knowing what's good for them. But... she has a purpose now."

Helen nodded and started setting up red and black candles around the sigil, plus the girl inside it, "Mistress... The dark moon is high. It is time."

Jade gave a clap as she went towards the south altar, for the element fire. The element most noted to Lilith, though she controls all of them. On the altar there was a silver dagger with a black leather hilt. Now, athames aren't supposed to draw blood, ever. But this one wasn't going to be used for white magic. She waltzed back to the girl and sat on her midsection. Hot tears flooded her pale cheeks.

"Shhhh shhh, dear girl... I thank you..." Jade grinned.

Jade raised her hands high into the air. She started to hum. Helen gave herself a little nic and spilled her blood around the outside of the sigil. The old lady reached into her dress pocket and pulled out a bottle of rue leaf oil and anointed Jade and the girl's foreheads.

"Lilith, audite mihi. Audite meus voluptarius," Jade's voice started will a boom. She took the blade and slit the girl's wrists. The blood started to run startlingly fast, seeming into the sigil. Jade used her thumb to swipe up some of the blood and smeared it along her collar bones. "Vos es accersitus iam," she raised the blade high again, making a cirle in the air three times. "Atrum Virgo, matris of obscurum, EGO dico vobis!" She screamed as the plunged the athame into the heart into the elven girl, killing her.

A wild gust of wind came howling into the room. All the candles were instantly blown out. A burst of flames appeared in front of the south altar. From the flames came a woman with long tousled red hair, dressed in a red robe. Eyes of black. As the flames died, the woman herself remained glowing - filling the darkened room with light still.

"Who dares to summon me, Lilith - Dark Maiden, Night Demon?" Her husky voice filled every inch of the vast room.

"I, my Great Goddess," Jade slowly rose to her feet, stepping over the dead elf. "I offer her as a gift to you."

"How sweet," the Demon Goddess lingered on the 't', "A virgin. My favorite." She went to Jade suddenly, catching her face in her hands, "Tell me what you want of me before you become like she."

"I want power. Power beyond what I have ever had before," she whispered quickly.

"Power... of mine?" She stroked Jade's cheek with a dainty thumb. "Jadden, you were once such as she..." She nodded to Helen. "And now you are mortal filth." A demonic smile spread, "I know you. I know all you have done, wanted, and will want. Your love is gone. Your life is gone. You have nothing. Why not kill yourself?"

"I am stronger than that."
"Yet your mind is slowly rotting in that skull."
"I need to bring about my revenge."

That brought about a great laugh from the Demoness, "You! Vengence!" She brought Jade's face inches from her own. Jade had to tip toe, even in her boots. Lilith was tall. "You are spineless. You always have been. Nothing but a cracked mask of something you wanted to be. Even as a vampire, you gave in to your human feelings. Why should I help you?"

"I will bring this place to their knees. They will not see my wrath coming. This town has known peace for too long," Jade struggled to keep her voice boldly above a whisper. Lilith's touch was burning her flesh.

"You are and have always been nothing more than an emotional child..." She grimaced. "But, I cannot pass up chaos and bloodshed brought from thine self." The goddess set Jade down, "For every want and action, there is a price. Where are your children? I love children."

"No!" She barked again. It was a mistake to speak this way to such a powerful figure. "You may have anything else..." She started again, softer, "Just not them."

"Ahhhh, no?" She grinned once more, "You love them with all of your being. Silly emotions you have put forth so strongly." She tapped her chin, moving around Jade, "What do you hold dear to you the most in this new life?" Pause, but she didn't let Jade respond, "You fought so hard for your humanity. I want it."

"You... want my humanity?" Jade asked.

"Yes. You summoned me for power... Either you let me have this, or you let me have your life like that long eared virgin."

Jade turned to look at Helen. She tilted her head at the old lady. Her face was static. No emotion. No sign either way on what Jade should do. How far would Jade go to exact her revenge.

"Look at me, wench!" Lilith boomed, "Give me your answer. You have gone to these lengths to bring me here, only to die by my hands?"

Jade snapped her gaze back to the demoness, "You may have it!" She did not think of it any more. Her mind did not waver on what she said. Only the power.

Again, the wind picked up when there could be no such thing. The Demon goddess started to cackle a horrible laugh that shook even the old Helen to the bone.

"You have made your choice!" She laughed more. "You will be as I - demon. I will gift you merely half of my power. This will be enough for what you wish. I will take your humanity. I will take your life. I will make you become what you fought to change all this time. Immortal."

"I understand this, Great Goddess," She gave a bow. "I thank you."

"You won't when your job is done!" She hissed, grabbing Jade up once more.

Lilith's dark lips met Jade's with a crushing force. She parted her lips, sucking Jade's life force from her. Jade didn't fight it. This is what she wanted. This is the path she chose. Her mind was blank, mainly because she was in so much pain. Needles pricked into every pore. After the pain, came overwhelming power. Nothing she had never felt before. It was unlike anything she could compare it to. Her body couldn't take all that she was fusing with. She went limp in the demoness' arms.

"Your new form will come when you call upon it. Thank you for your human life, and this is who you've become."

Helen took to shaking Jade to wake her. Eyes popped open, only they were not their green colored hues. Jet black. The color of her raven locks. She blinked a moment, and her eyes adjusted. They shifted back to their normal color.

"Mistress Jadden!"

"Take me to my bed quarters," she rasped. "I must charge. I must learn of these things. I must plan."
