Her emotions were frazzled, unrelentlessly pushing her forward. Her eyes hadn't changed from crimson since listening to Nero's tape. How could he? Using her for a good lay and occational info. But wasn't this what she wanted? A reason to throw it all ou the window. Well, this was a reason if there was one. But what got her was his willingness to kill her and serve her head on a plater. That was something she would for damn sure never let happen.
He had double-crossed so many womn, they telling her to turn and run. In a way Jade and Gabe were equals - crossing their lovers.

Not this time. She wouldn't cry, all out of the sick thing called love. She only hated, grew cold. In the inside, she was a mess. But it never showed on her outside features. The only thing that gave leeway to her emotions were her swirling crimson eyes - brewing.

Jade gathered all his clothes and kicked them all the way out onto the front lawn. She lit a match and threw it onto them. The clothes were soon ablaze. She watched the flame a long moment before she turned and walked back into the house. She turned the bed they shared onto its side and pushed it out of the house - onto the growing flames. The silk sheets caught fast and the bed went up in a matter of seconds. The blaze shown bright in the dark of the night. Back into the house she went, grabbing up the rest of his things and even the thing he had given her. Any weapon he had left, any sword. Everything was thrown into the fire. The flames grew higher, licking at her face, dancing about her.

She had not pawned off the ring like she said she would. It rested in Jade's pocket. She dug it out and began looking at it.
"Love, what a waste," she whispered then chunked the ring into the fire.

Jade's eyes were fixated on the fire, it grew white-hot. Soon everything metal was melted, anything else was toast. But still her gaze was on the flames, it grew higher with her rage. She reached out her hand and let her fingers dance in the flames. She was too numb to feel it. Jade recoiled her hand, looking at her chared fingers and hand. The black started to flake away as she wiggled her fingers, exposing her healed flesh.

She walked back in the house again. She wiggled her nose and all of her stuff was out. The house was empty. A hollow shell. Something that was built out of love was a fake. How sad that it would end in madness.
With a flick of a hand, the flames started to seep into the house. Jade stood in the middle of the house, letting the flames surround her. She wanted to make sure the house would go down.
She calmly walked out of the front door, the flames licking at her body.

When she was out, she looked back watching as the fire consumed the house. Her darkness contrasted with the bright fire behind her, sending light to fill the shadows.

"Goodbye," Jade softly whispered as she disappeared, letting her memories burn with the fire.
