Act 1: Tiny Terror
"Sing it! Nowww!" Claira shouted at Eric, a little index finger pointed up at him as her tiny jade hues glared his way. Her stance was fierce and grounded, the five year old looked more like her mother everyday.
There they were, in the middle of a packed Fangsta. The two were at a stand off with each other. The five year old with wild black locks pointed demandingly up at the blonde male, he holding his own ground before her. It was ridiculous, but this was Claira - daughter of Jade, after all. They were drawing attention, but ya know, what's new?
"Now Claira, Sweetie, you know I can't do that. That's our little secret thing," Eric held up his hands in her direction. Honestly, he didn't want anyone to know that he sang... Ever. Especially the song she was demanding.
"You did it last night! Now siiiing!" There was a tiny stomp from an equally was tiny little Dora The Explorer light up shoe as her tone grew. Funny how the littlest of kids have the loudest of mouths.
"Sweetie," he winced as eyes and heads started going in their direction. This is when he hated being the owner of this place. The roar of the club started to lower as people started listening to them.
"I'll make you do the dance if you don't! And with the funny hat too!"
"But you don't have the ha--"
There was a evil glimmer in those tiny jade hues as the index finger that was pointed at Eric slowly went to her nose. There was a giggle as she poked her magical nose. Thus was the reason why toddlers should never be allowed to have magic, ever. His icy blue eyes grew wide as he mumbled a few choice words. The dance was far worse than singing in any case... especially in public. Hell, he didn't want to sing either. Oh, but the hat... now that was evil. He was going to be sure and burn it later.
"Sooo? Siiiing or dance?" There was a beaming smile up at Eric on those tiny lips. Yes, she could see it in his eyes. She had won. The wonders of this five year old.
There was a heavy groan before he could answer, "Sing."
His blue eyes looked left and right, taking in the people around him. He reminded himself to avoid these people the next time he saw them.
"Yay!" There was a bounce before she giggled and started to bounce around him, "I'll be Barbie and you be Ken!"
Yes, it was that song.
Another heavy groan as a few women around them started to laugh. A hand went to his face, "Great."
"I'm a Barbie girl in a Barbie woooorld! It's fantastic to be plllastic! You can brush my hair and dress me eveerrywhhhere!~"
"Come on Barbie, let's go party," he just barely mumbled.
Claira stopped bouncing and gave him a look, "Louder."
"Come on Barbie, let's go party," his tone grew, but just a tad. More people joined in to laugh.
Het tiny foot tapped, causing Dora to light up again, "Louder!"
"Come on Barbie! Let's go party!" his voice was nearly a shout.
"Ooo Ooo, Yea!" She sang along again, giggling as she started to bounce around him.
Then there was a set of pipes you could hear from a mile away, and they pulled into the Fangsta parking lot. The rest at the club paid no mind to it, their attention back to their conversations after having a good laugh. But Eric and Claira's ears perked. Eric hadn't ever been so glad to hear those pipes. Mortification over! Claira dashed her way through the crows to peek out the window. Though, the window was a bit high for her and she had to jump to look out of it, wild curly black locks boucing everywhere as she did so.
Claira turned around bouncing. She beamed a bright smile as she made it back to Eric, "Mommy is here!"
"Thank God," it was the only thing he could mutter as they both looked to the door.
