There the six were, eyeing down each other across the large boardroom table in Eric's meeting room - plotting, planning. They were in the back of the club Fangsta, the owner Eric, where all the Section Five meetings were held. But this was no Section Five meeting, it was a matter of a child at stake. Casidy's child. Everyone in the room's family. The Were's had her... and they were going to get her back.
They were all in there respective chairs. Eric - at the head of the table, Jade - at the first chair on the left, Bill - at the first chair on the right, Pam - at the second chair on the left, Casidy - at the second chair on the right, and Mark at the end of the table.
Eric grimaced, "So... as our lovely Jadden has stated the plan is what, go in killing them quickly then as soon as we get Katra... kill them slowly so they'll 'remember we ain't playin no games'?" He even tried to put Jade's southern twang to it. It sounded inane with his accent.
Jade nodded to that, "That would be the plan."
Casidy nodded along with her, "Sounds like a good enough plan to me. I ain't seen no problem with that."
"So, this is basically an ambush?" Mark pushed his shaggy brown hair from those blue green eyes.
"Yea... only sneeky. And I have to go in first. That was the deal with the Weres. Then when I'm able to see her... I'll send Jade a sign so ya'll can come in."
"So you don't think that they'll be expecting anything?" Pam, the innocent looking one she was - though her looks betrayed her even as she twirled a blonde lock around her finger. She was nearly as old as Jade and she had seen her fair share of battles.
"Nah... they'll know it. Probably will have guards in every they can fit 'em."
"Then how will we be able to get her and get out?" Bill asked, running one hand through his course short black hair, his other hand fell atop one of Casidy's.
She recoiled at the touch, the hand coming up to toy with a curly brunette lock. Cas looked away nervously, not ready to show affection.... not yet. And before she could answer him, Jade did.
"That's were the 'killin' 'em quickly' thin' comes in. They already know we're gunna be there... an' they're gunna smell us. So, we kill the one's outside before the ones inside know anythin' 'bout it."
Mark looked to Eric and he just shrugged, a few blonde locks escaping from his braid as usual. He sighed, "I suppose she is right, no matter how much it all lacks a good plan. Sometimes the best plans are the ones that are a little off the wall... which is something Casidy and Jadden are good for."
The two mentioned gave mirroring looks. They weren't sistahs for nothing.
"Anything else?"
"Well, ya'll can talk about how ya'll will come in when I give Jade the sign."
"What'll be the sign, Casidy?"
"Jade'll know." She tapped lightly at her temple and Jade gave a upnod back.
"So... the plan?"
"Two on each side, then one in the back? Cas'll already have the front covered when she get's in."
"Sounds dandy."
Slowly, Eric stood. He pushed his chair out, smoothing his black wifebeater (Uncommon on him, but he rathered that in battle) out, and looked at the five around him, "We all understand the dangers we face tonight, am I correct?" Everyone nodded without a pause. He gestured to Casidy and Bill, "This is for their child, everyone. We shall fight. We can't let that child... one of our family down." Yet again everyone nodded without pause. Casidy and Jade had both put on their strong faces, but anyone could tell that they were denying tears. Eric nodded, looking into each and everyone's eyes, "Then we are ready. The weapons are already loaded into the van out back."
Call it a odd, but they all pushed out of their chairs and filed out into the parking lot silently.
