Kina Kitty

The farmhouse wasn't a grand place, in fact it tended towards run down. But the price had been fair, and there was plenty of open space for the children to play in.

It was three days from Rhydin proper, in a little hamlet called Shady Hollow.

More importantly it was far enough from town that Kina didn't have to worry about running into anyone she knew on a daily basis.

The children were settling in nicely. Aysel, Katyana, and Dominick were all going to classes at the local temple school. They taught an amazing variety of specialties there. Dominick was studying mathematics and bookkeeping. He was the youngest in his class but was excelling in his lessons. Katy had found a comfortable spot in the gardening club, and Aysel had taken up kendo.

The house wasn't as grand as Antonio's, six bedrooms two baths and an antiquated kitchen. It swiftly gained the cozy lived in feel that only a large happy family could establish.

But to Kina it still felt empty. The house was missing something she had gotten used to. It was missing her wives.
