Left on the massive fridge door was a note, hanging by a magnet. The writing was slightly messied and hurried.

"Dear Sisters,

As most of you know, I'm in trouble. Claira and I have packed up and we're going to be gone for a while. I don't know when we'll be be back... or even if I'm coming back at all. Fret not, luvies. You know me, I'll be damned if I don't make it back. But for now, Claira, Dakota, and I have to hightail it out of here. Rhy, I love you. Tell the boys thank you for letting me stay with them. Snuggle Coley, would ya? If I'm not back in a few weeks, start packing my things up, K? Don't cry too much. Such emotions aren't good for the baby. And don't worry, Dakota'll have Claira. Call up Hina. She'll know how to get Claira back. Ly, keep Brandy safe, alright? He's one of the closest things to a brother I have in this town. You've done a great job so far. I was actually hoping that you two would've been hitched before something like this happened. Eh, there's always next time, right? Oh yea, Ly, if you see Tristy ... tell him I'm sorry... about everything, ya know? I know he like.. hates me, but one of us can still care, right? Oh... don't tell him I'm gone and in this mess either.

This note got a little too long. I'll wrap it up. Rhy, when you get boobies... you can have my stuff. And my new diary is on the nightstand, the old one is hidden in the closet. Keep them safe, would ya? Oh, and for the younger sisters... please don't go through me stuff. I'll kill you when I get back. Gotta go, Claira and Kota are getting antsy!

Love you girls. Forever and always,
Jade Eli Ravenlock Rogue"

Oh lookie there, there was even a single crimson tear drop on the corner of the page.

Rhy had known that Jade was gone, she had heard it days ago and knew it was coming, but she had refused to believe it, refused to believe that her best friend, her sister, the other half of her was gone and on the run for her life. She had avoided the Chi house like the plague, but it was time. She stood in front of the fridge, one hand on her belly, the other wiping away tears; what should have been a happy week for her was utterly stressful and sad.

? Jadey!? she growled, angry with her. She knew she had no choice but she still didn?t want to face the reality that she might never see Jade again or little Claira. There was some laughing as she read the oh so typical Jadey parts. She?d give up hope of ever having a chest if it meant having Jade home and safe. But the thought of new clothes did make her feel a little better and the idea of whipping the younger girls into shape if they got into Jade?s things, especially her diary. Rhy reached out and ran her fingers over the letter and then removed it from it?s place on the fridge, no need to keep it there and dwell upon it. Crumpling up the letter she started up the stairs to find Jade?s diaries and put them into safekeeping.

Ly was there when Rhy came to the house to read the letter. Infact she was standing in the next room, listening carefully. She wanted to comfort her sister, Rhy because she knew how close she was to Jade. Sure... Jade and Ly were close, but Rhy and Jade were family. She knew that. Her blood red lips pursed when she saw Rhy head up the stairs. The vampiress decided to follow.

Her footsteps were light and quick, but she took her time once she got to the top of the stairs to get to Jade's room. Once she got there she cracked the door open and knocked a few times, just softly. The door was pushed open and Ly stuck her head in.

"Hey Rhy." She said softly before stepping in and looking around.
