Character Outline:

Background:
Ayaka was born into a standard, albeit poor, life. She never once knew her father, and was only briefly explained to about her mother before she died giving birth to a son, Ayaka's younger brother. Since Ayaka can remember, they were a part of a foster home. A woman by the name of Laura, whom was very kind and willing to take care of the pair, became their mother. Laura was a soft spoken, barren woman, who lead a hard, single life due to her inability to have children. Ayaka and Rey were more than a blessing to her.

Although it was unexplained where the two children came from, Laura accepted them all the same; treating them as though they were her own. Ayaka grew into a fine young lady: Kind, caring, friendly, and above all else, intelligent. Astonishingly so, that once Ayaka was able to begin schooling, Laura ensured to spend every waking moment with her in her studies.

When Ayaka was of age, Laura wrote off to the nearby, legendary school of Somul for private tutoring, where the now headmaster Ryo the Koori was enlisted to test Ayaka's outstanding ability. Ryo discovered, to much of everybody's surprise, that she possessed the power known as "magic"; with an adept ability of manipulating her own body. Requesting that the girl be registered at Somul, Ryo explained to Laura that Ayaka would benefit more being a student at the prized school. It was also heavily implied that she would be much safer under their eye.

Unfortunately, Laura had a terrible time letting go, and declined Ryo's kind, if not once-in-a-life-time, request. Reluctant, but unwilling to pressure the woman, Ryo left without the girl.

Several months following the enlistment request, on a peaceful, sunny day, the village was assaulted by an unprovoked attack. Villagers were slaughtered on the streets, in their homes, and taken hostage in attempts of locating, "A Sacred Creature."

Ayaka was in her room at the time of the attack; her home ablaze. Unaware of the attack, she rushed downstairs, discovering her foster mother slaughtered in cold blood. Fearful for her life, she escaped the burning home, collapsing into the arms of a massively tall, brutish male. With barely a chance to cry out for help about her mother, she felt a devastating pain in her spine, and blacked out.

Awakening some time later, she learned she was found and rescued by Ryo, the same man that examined her several months prior. Since then, she has taken refuge in the Holy City of Somul, leaving the terrible tragedy in the back trenches of her mind in hopes it will one day vanish.

Personality:
Ayaka takes after her foster mother in fierce loyalty of her memory. Laura was a kind, often outspoken woman, ensuring that every person she encountered was in the highest of spirits. This trend that Ayaka has taken has won her the title of "Class President" of her homeroom of 55-F, a room typically meant for higher-grade users.

She's often surrounded with a variety of friends, and has a terrific ear for any one person's problems. However, the issue with that tends to take shape in the advice she gives. She is anything but a problem solver. Often times, disputes only escalates when taking her advice.

Abilities:
A dash of good looks isn't solely because of flattering genetics; the aid of a simple shift of a pointed nose, or an altering twist of dazzle in sapphire eyes compliments an affinity with a keen power of metamorphosis.

From simple digits becoming keys, to entire arms transforming in turbulent drills, Ayaka's imagination, coupled with intense energy, creates an almost unlimited power at her disposal.

She also takes notes like a champ.
