Everett knew his way to the maritime well, and she didnt even need to lead him there. His heavy footsteps fell onto the trail easily and soon the Maritime was in view. It was dark, and the windows didnt have the familiar glow like they used to. As they neard the Maritime, the sudden urge to turn around came over her. She shook her head. *I cant keep running.*

It was good to see Harold, finally. She was just relieved that he was alive. To hear him say he those things had actually warmed her heart. A feeling she hadnt felt in such a long time.

Sarah stopped at the stables not too far from the Maritime. She unsaddled Everette, tossed him a flake of hay and started the short walk to the Tavern.

She went through the back door, and closed it behind her, flicking on the lights. It was very empty. She half expected Ran to come stalking through the kitchen, but didnt see him. She sat her back pack down on the bar top, and noticed it was a bit dirty. So, she went back into the kitchen and grabbed a rag.

Sarah spent about a minute cleaning the bar off, but just kept going from there, wiping down the tables and chairs. Hey, why stop there? She grabbed a broom and swept the floors, and taking down spider webs from the rafters.

Soon she was in the kitchen, cleaning glasses and plates, knives forks and what ever else she could get her hands on, even though they probably didnt need cleaning.

Then it dawned on it. Working, plumbing. Oh Goddess. She almost ran upstairs, stripping off her clothing once she reached the bathroom. She stood underneather the water for a long time, the drops of water stinging the deep wounds on her back.

After drying off, re-wrapping her wounds and putting on a clear pair of cloothes she headed up to a room. She laid down onto the bed, and was almost dead asleep in about two minutes. She was just happy to have some where familiar and safe to stay.
