Sarah didnt even look back at the cottage the elderly couple had offered to let her stay in. She had packed up her things, or what little she had, and left before the two woke.

It was still early morning, and Everett and Sarah were walking through a trail in the forest. Her thoughts quickly wandered. She was so self destructive again, destroying herself slowly. It seemed like no matter what she did, things always seemed to turn out badly. She had lost her friends, the only friends she really had and cared about. It was just her and Everett now.

It seemed like everything started about a hundred years ago. Sarah was fighting with the elves for a village's freedom. Her husband was fighting by her side as well. They were great fighters together, nobody was able to defeat them against their swords. The battle was great, but one by one the enemy was being defeated. It looked as if they were going to win, when a young elven in his first battle had misfired his bow, and shot her husband in the chest. He fell to his knees and Sarah held him until his final breaths. Sarah became enraged and she killed the elves she had once faught with.

She sighed at these thoughts. She was quickly becoming what she had been those a hundred years ago.

Her left hand patted Eve's neck. "Good boy"

She had been riding for so long, that she hadnt noticed that she was in Elven territory. Before she knew it, herself and Everette were surrounded by Elvish warriors. Her eyes looked to them, and she knew she was done fighting. She dismounted her horse, and clicked at him, letting him trott off between the Elves. She threw her sword to the ground, and said "Im yours...take me..."

In an instant they bound her legs and arms so tightly they bled. It was all such a blur, she didnt remember how she had gotten to the field they had taken her. The entire village was there. Sarah noticed a large post was in the middle of the field, and they were dragging her toward it. They wrapped her arms around the Pole, and then wrapped her wings around it as well until her back was exposed. An elven man then took a dagger and cut the clothing off her body. The crowd was cheering now, seeming so barberic for such a kind race. But, then again, Sarah had killed hundreds of their people.

The sound of the cattle whip cracking her skin was defening. She screamed out in pain as they reached the end of her punishment. Eventually the crowd had gone, and they left Sarah there to die. Sarah was defeated, but still wanted to live. Tail then began to until her binds, and her body fell to the ground. Slowly, she made her way away from the field. She was naked, bleeding and weak.

Here she was, again. Why did she do this to herself? The only thing keeping her alive at this point, was Everett and the promise to Harry that she'd take care of him.
