I don't know about everyone else, but the last thing I really want to think about right now is real world politics. So let us delve into the realm of fantasy. It's why we're all here is it not?

I collected a few fun presidential campaign ads on Facebook and what not. I am posting them along with a poll. I myself am undecided, so I would like to encourage some discussion.

Feel free to post any other ads you may have come across that you like as well :)

My brief impressions.

Odin: Where are the ice giants? Not here ? Odin delivers!

V: Though I don?t believe he would accept such a role? It would definitely mean change.

Dr. Horrible: Because the status is NOT quo? Love it. Want to see another movie about this guy!

Voldemort: Harry Potter fan, so I had to include this option. It would make more sense if it was imperiused muggles for Voldemort. Either you know what that means or you don't care ;)

Cthulhu: Yes, I know there is two for him and there are even more out there. Not trying to be unfair, he has a better ad campaign than most. He is one scary SOB but they do have a point. Why vote for the lesser evil?

I do believe it noteworthy that people would prefer certain death to the options we presently have. Better to have the honest villain, I suppose.

Now ? discuss!

Odin would be the safest choice I think and also have the best term. It'd also be incredibly boring. Everything about Cthulhu running screams no to me, just no. If praying for fish in the church of Dagon will give you gills, I don't want to know what happens to me if I vote for Cthulhu. I like V. He'd probably oppose things like S.O.P.A. and legalize online file-sharing.

V because it's V! Yeah, I have no other reason. Um, because he's a man of the people, for the people. And he puts on a great fireworks show, too! ;-)

Back in the A&E AOL Red Dragon Inn chat when I was a newbie, a guy named Sauronring told me. "Bow before Cthulhu, Peasant."

If he was that influential in 2001, the Old One still might have what it takes. He's got my vote. Who wants to be sane anyway?

Also V is too mainstream. So I'll be equipping my thick black framed hipster glasses for this one.

How could I not vote for Odin?

Odin er den ekte kongen. Han vil f?re oss alle til Valhall!
