It was early in the evening when Tommy and Skyler were standing around the kitchen table, looking at the packages that just arrived.

"What is this filth," spat Tommy, eyeing the "Magic Scroll" on the table.

"Some crap Des sends out," Skyler informed him. "Whenever you attend one of her events, she mails you little mementos like this."

"Who does she think she is?" Tommy's big hands tightened into fists as he steamed over the woman's presumptuousness. "If I want her little scrolls, I'll take them."

Skyler attempted to quell the Figure's anger. "She doesn't do it to bother us, boss. She pretty much just sends one to everyone who attends her events."

"Still," Tommy fumed. "I'm gonna teach her to keep her crap to herself."

Skyler grinned. "Take it easy, boss."

Tommy ignored him and took the scrolls outside. Out on the front lawn, he put the scrolls beneath the wide tires of his big black Hummer. He drove over them several times, grinding them into the mud.

After that, he stuck them into a box and mailed the dilapidated, wasted scrolls back to 11 Lakeshore Drive.
