As instructed, the young boy carried the medium sized box to the front door of the mansion and knocked loudly. He waited to hear footfalls and then ran off quickly, leaving the box at the door.

The box was about a foot square, and about five inches deep. It was white, with marroon lettering. "O'Dell's Deli" emblazoned on the front wtih the familiar steaming tea cup insignia beneath the words.

A note attached to the box indicates that the box is for one Tommy Hill Figure, Cosmic Beach.

When he opens the box there's a platter of pepperoni calzones sitting in it, wrapped up neatly in clear celophane with a maroon ribbon. Attached to the ribbon is a note.

Dearest Thomas,

I was informed that you were craving calzones. Enjoy!

Molly was humming softly and dusting the living room coffee table when she heard the knock. She set down her paper towel and spray bottle of lemon-scented ?Pledge,? then went to the front door and pulled it open. Bright rays of afternoon sunlight and salty sea breeze spilled inside as she stepped onto the front porch and saw the delivery. She looked up to see a small boy running away. The maid waved to him and shouted ?Thank you.?

Stooping to scoop up the box, she carried it inside and closed the front door, enjoying the package?s pleasant aroma. Even though it was labeled for Tommy, Molly took a peek. Being the estate?s cook, she was no stranger to baking. She admired the culinary work within before taking the box down the back hallway, toward the Figure?s study.

She rapped lightly on the open door, peering inside. ?Mr. Figure? A package just arrived for you.?

?Set it on the desk and get the hell outta here,? Tommy replied in his deep gravelly voice, not unkindly. He was lounging back in his chair reading the latest copy of the Oracle, feet propped up on his desk, a fat cigar jutting from his mouth.

After she came forward and placed the box before him, the Figure set his cigar in the ashtray and fished a calzone out of the box. ?Who the hell sent this?? he demanded.

?There?s a note in there. Let?s see what is says.? Molly picked out the note and read it aloud for Tommy. ?It says, ?Dear Tommy, I was informed that you were craving calzones. Enjoy! Rosie.?? She lay the note down beside the box, facing it toward him.

Tommy?s face was void of expression as he bit into one of the calzones. He read the note for himself, his stubbly jaw chomping audibly.

?Who?s Rosie?? Molly inquired.

?Dis girl with a nice ass,? he growled with his mouth full.

?Oh.? She smiled pleasantly, left the room and returned to her chores.

As the afternoon dwindled away, Tommy devoured every last one of the calzones. When he was finished, he let out a huge, croaking belch, rubbing his full belly. His voice boomed, reverberating around the mansion with primal resonance. ?Molly! Bring me some goddamn milk!?
