He was asleep in the Cryotube. The ship on auto pilot. The Onboard AI taking him to meet with his fellow ARC mercenaries. A beeping noise sounded and he was thawed out. He ran to the cockpit and noticed he was beeing tossed and turned in some sort of feild.

He strapped in and tried to pilot the anomoly by himself without the AI to aid him. That was a mistake. He flew right for the heart of the anomoly. That only made it worse. He was planning on using its gravitational pull to sling-shot away. But once there something seemed to grab him. He blacked out.

When he awoke the crash landing warning buzzer was going mad. He shook his head and tried to pull up. Trying to level the ship out. No good. It was in a dead nose dive. He pulled the nose up atleast 20 degrees before it started to change course. It flew in a diagonal untill it crashed. Half of it was burried under ground.

He moved to the back escape hatch. Not before suiting up and grabbing his gear. He got from the ship and looked around. Rifle at the ready. he wasnt going blind. He was gonna examine the area. He tossed up a probe. That proved usefull. It looked around a moment the made a odd noise. ~PvVTT!~ then fell to the ground. He cursed and threw the peice of junk back into the ship.

So a little recon was in order. He made sure his ower pack was goodfor the cloaking device. He locked down the ship. Which took on the color of the surrounding land for camo. He himself went dark, shutting off anything on his suit that could make a light. Then turned the cloak on and started off.

He got to a ridge and got prone. On his stomach, he took out his DC-15A Rifle with scope and Silencer attachments and looked around. Then he heard some type of loud roar. He got to one foot and a knee and looked aruond. Taking the Silencer off and putting it in a belt pouch.

He stood and took the scope and attached it to the carrier on the bottom of the Rifle. He looked around then it came out. It was some type of huge animl. Worse then a Ranco but hairy like a cat?. He had never seen such a creature. He recorded it and would send the data back to the ship. It would be logged so he had something to give to his boys once he got there. If he ever got there. He only hoped when he didnt make it they would come looking for him.

So first day of Recon not so bad. He walked around in the forest. Nothing new. A few odd signs that eople were deffinately around. A few trails made with human feet. Bare human feet. A few broken twigs high enough to show where a persons height may be.

So back to the ship. He would rest for a few minutes and try to figure out what to do. Finally his radio got something. He rushed over to it and read the message. His eyes started to shake when he read it. He...He was the last ARC...

He couldnt believe the ARC ammased at the sigma nine sector were wiped out. Over one hundred thousand...and all dead. What caused such a massacre. He didnt have time to think on it. Now more then ever he had to fight to stay alive. To keep the memory of the ARCs going. To keep their name from falling into the abyss.

(Not reffereing to the player called Chaos...reffering to an old legend )

He st down in the main cabin. Or the confference room as it were. He looked at the vidoe recording of the satilites there. Just to get an idea on how it happened. Atleast it wasnt a slaughter. Atleast the true commander(Himself) wasnt there.

He knew there would be trouble. There was never an ARC gathering like that before. Their government did the best they could to kee them apart. But since the ARC summit was called. He had to go. He called it. Now he wishes he hadnt.

He stood and looked at the pictures of him and Delta squad. Sev...Tech...Sights...Fixer...Scorch...He missed those guys...Specially Scorch. They shared their love for things that go boom. He wiped a tear from his eye and then got a angry look on his face. He grabbed his gear and secured it. The ship. Even if fixed. Would remain there and try to start the ARCs up once more.

He sat there. Thinking. Planning. But for what. Not a few days after he crashes he is asked to help save Lizard like things. He didnt mean anything by saying Lizard things. He wasnt sure how to classify them. Dragons maybe. He had never encountered them before. Rancors yes. Them things...Didnt know what they were capable of.

He soke into his datapad/journal.

"Day two...This is a surprising time period...I find out Im the last...and now I`ve been asked to help save dragons...can this fairy tale get anymore weird?''

He stood and walked to Holoprojector. He needed all the intell he could get. So he sent out tons of probe droids. Getting every last bit of information they could. Whether or not it could help was at this point undetermined. But he was sure that what he needed was outt here. Waiting to be found and collected.

So day four. Boy did last night seem like a blur. First got to see a nova blast first hand. Then nearly died...twice...He made a note to shut down the Degenerative nanites.

So it was back to the basics. He had to make himself a little less vulnerable like he was. So he compilled every tactical training sim. he had.

He went back to bed before anything. Maybe some sleep would do him good. But he could have done without the dream.

It was of the night before. Every detail. But worse. He felt everything ten times worse then how it actually. happened. Whats worse. Is when the Nova came. That woke him up in a dead sweat. He bent over. Holding his head. Breathing heavily. If he would ever get back to sleep was lost to him. Right now he didnt care.

And to make matters worse. He thought of his men. All 1525 of them. He missed them. They were his brothers. They had been in service with each other for so long they didnt even have to hardly speak to one another to know what was about to be said.

Log Day one:

Koyi... Simple enough. Koyi. That's what I'm called that's who I am. Today and tomorrow that's who I'll be. A back wash planet this is. Rather pleasant world, but still it has its pluses. There was one day of just wondering and wandering. Still as I made my way into a tea shop I came on quite an unusual sight... An ARC and a few others. Trouble. I can smell it out. It's one of my talents.

After the pair, a male and female, I think they were together. However, who cares that's their story not mine. I sat down with this ARC granted it was with the company of another female... Still I paid her no mind as I listened to him tell me stories of his life and men. That's when I told him about myself. About my past, but then again there was always those pains to deal with on my own. Who cares right? I guess I did more then I suspected.

Well he went on about his duty so I offered him a job. Granted it was a simple job really, but he accepted my pay. When I asked about his ship he showed me instead. The damage was extensive, but I offered my knowledge with the repairs. In exchange he gave me a place to stay. However I must say... He's a rather wonderful man. Eventually he might, if he allows it, win my heart, but I won't tell him after all, one mustn't get their hopes up.

Heck that day he met her. he thought she was cute. Though he realy techincally didnt have his eye on her. He thought about it. Though it may have been a smart Idea not to have gotten envolved.

What was even more odd was when the other female should up. It was obvious she had another. Though she watched him intently. He wondered that day. But now that a few days had passed. He was sure. This Koyi...Liked him. Question was. COuld he actually win her heart....

Sure she had been flirting with him. Nursing him back to health. But he had to wonder. Was she really trying to hint she wanted him as more then an employee. It was interesting. Mind boggling one would say.

He would figure this out. And when he did she would be the one that would be in trouble. He was good at many things and hard to get was one of them. He had to date people on certain missions just to get close to his target. It was iteresting. As he would only be seen holding their had or kissing their cheek. Nothing more then that. But Koyi..This was going to be fun...

BlueDreamz

Date: 2007-12-30 17:45 EST
Why wouldn't it be fun? Koyi should have been a dream come true come to think about it. Wild fire was what her friends called her, but then again she wasn't one easy to tame. What made him so different. Was it the fact that for once she was the one making the advances? Possibly.

After all this time she found a challenge. And Koyi loved challenges. After all if she didn't get challenged she got bored. A toss and a turn here in life was always dandy with her after all it was what made life wonderful. A few bounties here and there didn't seem to make the cut. Koyi wanted a new challenge. For some reason he provided it.

A few more turns and weaves with her future never hurt? Did it?

Commander Bacara

Date: 2007-12-30 18:34 EST
True a few bumps in the rode. But at times they could be to overwehlming. All life needed some challenge. But some worse then others and arent easily settle without harm done to one party or more.

But things were always simpler in the eyes of a fool. There was always an easy way out. An easy method. But what was easy other then the mind recieving something it has alreadt encountered before. It always recorded.

Was there such a thing as a Challenge...or was it merely a impulse your mind gave you when it ready for something new to happen.

He sat at the holo table and sighed. In his hands a Datapad which he spoke into.

Hunters log:

Things have seemed to take a turn for the weird. Im starting to think Im losing my Hunter ways. I`ve lost the will. I cant half pick up My Rifle without thinking there is someone Im ending. That against what I was told as a child...If my Mandilorian brothers heard of this...I would be shunned amung them.

I never hesitated to kill. WHat changed...Well whatever it is...It best be worth losing thw only part of my I remember
-End Log-

He sat back and sat the pad down. Lookign to the room where Koyi was asleep. She always seemd peacefull when she slept. Not he. He was haunted by the loss of many of his brothers and sisters. TO devistating to him it was as an old Jedi would have put it. He..He thought they got the best of the deal..A warriors death.

My meeting with the Belarus family was progressing well when we noticed we were being watched. Dust, being the somewhat unstable brother of Ash, went on the hunt before the rest of us could even react. What ensued afterwards was a short series of cat and mouse like games that ended with this ease droppers life almost being lost. Fortunately I was able to inter vein before Dust got to out of hand, thus convincing him to spare what remains of the mans life. ...

This spy interested me. I was able to get just a few words from him, he called himself Bacara and he had the appearance of a clone trooper from the Republic. Yet there was something different. He was definitely not a clone thats for sure. Unfortunately he was too badly injured for me to question further and was taken to a medical facility. The following day when I stopped by to check on his condition he had vanished. I have informed Commander Solvo on the DragoKazov to dispatch a squad to locate this Bacara, but nothing has turned up yet.

He was actually scouting out around his ship when they came. He loaded his Rifle and waited. They opened fire on him. From the sounds of the blasts...Sonic Rifles. Designed to know a man unconcious.

He returned fire. Not leaving any alive. Mandalorians didnt take prisoners. And if they did. They were dubbed Mandalorians and sent to work. He took their weapons and ammo. Grenades and such.

He trotted bak to the ship. Dropped off the weapons and moved back with a plasma tank of some kind. He took and poured the plasma onto the bodies...Letting it eat away at the bodies till there was nothing.

He turned and mvoed back to the ship. A hunting party. Odd. Time to set up the perimeter. So off to lay mines. Sentry guns. Cams. And anything else needed. He was worried now. His eyes glued to any scanning readout.

Shots fired woke her almost instantly from her bliss filled sleep. Rushing from her spot she screamed rather loudly," Bacara!" When she found him she panted for breath as her eyes widened tried to take in what had happened in the area outside. Koyi's eyes shook as she paced for a moment first towards the guns then towards one of the sensors herself.

There was ranting coming from her lips as worry mixed with rage. Standing there tracing the readings her voice seemed almost cold for what had happened to the man standing next to her," I'll work on the engines today... We've got to move the ship." Was all she said as she swooped over to the tool kit. Moving passed him she kept her brow furrowed. Ever seen Koyi pissed, well only one person had ever managed to see her like that.

Bacara and his near death experience managed to bring out the protective monster in Koyi as she found it highly not amusing that he would push himself into any situation like that, at all. As there came crashes, curses, and roaring from the engine room she worked desperately to get the ships engine's fixed. Trapped down here was by far the most discomforting thought that seemed to cross Koyi's mind and she would be damned if anyone tried to touch Bacara again on her watch. Koyi was on a rampage. It was wise to stay out of her way.

Commander Bacara

Date: 2008-01-03 12:57 EST
He walked back in to the Engine room and pulled Koyi up into his arms.

"Koyi we cant move the ship..they`ll be watching for anything like that...They know i have one. But they dont know where..."

His helmet sat on the table behind him. He kept his arms around her. Trying to calm her down. He hated to see her like this. Yes since the Near death thing she had been more protective. He hadnt the nerve to tell her he was a Mandalorian not a clone.

He puled her into a kiss. Hoping maybe that would calm her down. Or atleast prevent her from doing MORE harm to the ship. If she was listening or paying attention she should know if they moved it would give them their location. They were more hiden there then anywhere.

Her arms flopped down as she made to argue. Yet she was stopped by a kiss. Closing her eyes she pulled him in tight and sighed. Keeping the kiss for as long as she could. Pulling away from his lips she whispered," Yeah okay, fine."

Looking at him highly troubled and annoyed she rested her forehead against his for a moment before glancing around," Then I insist we better hide this ship. I don't want to wake up to shots again." Eye balling him curiously as she ran her fingers through his hair.

Of course she would have that feeling of him hiding something from her. She didn't like it but she wouldn't pressure him to share. The last thing she wanted him to feel was like she was being pushy.

Master Rhysode was investigating the disappearance of Squad Six when his comlink chirped "Yes Commander?" "We have lost contact with Squad Seven" the voice responded over the comlink, This was the squad he had sent to locate Bacara, "Ready another squad, but as a support group only, I'll confront him myself this time" "Uploading the last known coordinates now sir" Commander Solvo responded sounding a bit agitated ...."Thank you Commander"....

Waiting. It was the worst thing to a soldier. Not only did he have a woman to worry about. He also didnt want to envoke her wrath once more. She was to sweet a woman to do that to. The long range sensors roared. He had come. Bacara didnt budge. But cloaked the ship. The first move was made. The second move was the Jedi looking for him. That was done, third move was hiding the ship. Fourth was having backup. His move now.

Her charged the perimeter defences. He waited. This Mandalorian was young...tested himself time and time again. The last of the Clan Ordo...Direct descendant of Canderous Ordo, Mandalor, himself. He only hoped when Koyi wasw told she didnt think badly of him for keeping it hiden. It was the first time a Mandalorian had fallen for a Jedi...Even one that never made it out of the academy.

He had the traditional Mandalorian armor. It was his great great grandfathers. Canderous` armor...That of the Mandalore. He wasnt pronounced Mandalore. Just given his armor. AS a token of remberence. A token of the great Mandalorian Crusade.

If Bacara had remembered what she had said to them when they first met then he would remember that she would understand. She was a jedi with emotions, it was one of the reasons why she had failed the academy. Obviously she couldn't control them. And so there it was, she would understand he just had to trust her enough to tell her.

Standing next to him when the alert went off she clicked her tongue. Eyes narrowed beyond belief, it was hard to imagine that she could see out of those eyes once they had narrowed. The woman was highly pissed. Standing there her blue skin stuck out like a sore thumb, but she didn't care if they went out there he wasn't going to do it alone. Fingers flinching and fidgeting. The woman wouldn't let her man go, oh no, she was determined to make sure he was safe no matter what the cost.

Sensors still blaring. She stayed by his side, waited by his side, Koyi was ready. Lets just hope Bacara understood that she wasn't leaving his side.

Upon my arrival i felt a faint presence. Not of Bacara but of another, though not a dark presence like the other. This might prove a bit more difficult than originally planned. Fortunately for him he had a backup plan. Not wanting to risk any accidental blood shed he placed a small square box , a holocron, that contained a message on a rock.

<Begin Message>

Bacara, I am Master Rhysode a former Jedi of the Republic and i wish to talk with you on peaceful terms. I am willing to aid you in any of your needs, such as help to repair your ship. Set up a place to meet so we may talk. No harm will come to you or your Jedi friend

<End Message>

He hopes Bacara can trust that he does not mean to harm either of them and if not then hopefully his Jedi companion can sense it. Of coarse he is not dumb either. Just incase they do turn out to be unreasonable he has a plan D.... He found it amusing that he refers to the name of the plan by the first letter of the man who would be watching his back if and when they agreed to a meeting.

Commander Bacara

Date: 2008-01-05 02:38 EST
He didnt trust Jedi. Not after what they did to his people. HE looked at the holocron. He didnt like this. Jedi were only peacefull because they walked a pacifists life. Not being born to battle and having to test yourself always.

He was meditating infront of the armor of his Ancestor. Mandalore Canderous Ordo. He left the bulkhead open. It was time Koyi found out. He let his thoughts become disturbed. knowing it would draw her to him.

His blaster laid infront of him. Helmet behind it.

"My ancestor...Mandalore...Leader of the Mandalorians...who are no more...I will redeem our people...bring fear to our name once more. I will use my Bounty hunting and Mercenary carreer to bring honor back"

Not sure if anything he siad would be good enough. Amung Mandalorians. Honor bound them. They could feel when one was dishonored. And he felt he had to return honor. But he was inlove with a Jedi. Could she provide the backbone for the new Mandalore?

Ganner Rhysode

All in all the meeting between himself and Bacara went well. As he had suspected Bacara was no clone but rather a Mandalorian, one of a few left from an all but extinct race. Then there was the unexpected discovery of yet another Jedi. This one a young Twi'lek named Koyi. She stood by this Mandalorian as though to protect him from any harm. Though she did not say much she agreed with Bacara's decision to join me.

As the meeting was coming to a close there was a slight disturbance in the force but it vanished before he could investigate further. Mystified by these turns of events he has returned to his quarters aboard the DragoKazov to meditate.

BlueDreamz

Koyi stood there at Bacara's side of course. She wouldn't leave him, now would she. He was depending on her. Frowning as she learned of his race she wondered even then if she had been kept this for fear that she'd harm him or that he didn't trust her. It had seemed to make her distant with him. She even slept alone in a different part of the ship. The Twi'Lek couldn't take not being trusted. Emotions she could never push away seemed to torment at her. It hurt knowing that she wasn't trusted.

Still she wasn't going to leave him. Together they would work on the ship, repairing it. Rhysode's words always present in her mind. Still she would work on it before she asked for help.

Flustered to the brink of madness one day a part was tossed with a great crash. Too many things were on her mind and quite a few curses were uttered from her lips as she slammed her foot against the wall of the engine room. Koyi was overly tormented, and what was worse, Bacara would know it.

Commander Bacara

Date: 2008-01-10 22:15 EST
She deserved an explination. So get one she woul. He walked in right as she threw the part.

"I know your upset about me keeping my race a secret...I was scared...I was scared on how you would act. Im..Im sorry for keeping it from you Koyi..."

He was sorry. So sorry infact he couldnt look in her eyes the same. Hell he stared at the ground the entire time he apologized.

BlueDreamz

Eyes would open at his words. She'd gaze to her fist as blue blood dripped freely from it. What had she hit? Pulling her hand away she swallowed and winced. There was a sharp end of mettle stained with her blood.

Turning she looked over to him. Brows were lifted as she chose to hide her pain," You should have never thought like that Bacara." Blood was dripping down before her boots as she stood there looking at him. Emotionless expression on her face. For a long while she didn't speak then the words came," Because I love you and that would never change."

Commander Bacara

Date: 2008-01-12 13:08 EST
He walked up to her and wrapped her hand up. He knew he should have been more trusting. But can you blame him. If he was affraid of those who destroyed his people. He pulled her close and let her head rest on his shoulder.

"I know....But...Im sorry..."

Thats all he could say on it anymore. He never meant for it to hurt her. He never meant for it to be hidden. He should have been truthfull from the start. But now it was out for her. And he would hide no more. No more would his past be hidden.

BlueDreamz

Date: 2008-01-12 15:04 EST
Resting her head against his shoulder she sighed and closed her eyes. His words meant more then he could have guessed. Biting her lip she caressed his chest for a moment before she looked up at him," I haven't kept any secrets from you Bacara... I don't like them. Please, no more."

It was her pleading with him to be honest with her, it was her knowing that if he was honest there was only one way for them to move, and that was forwards. He needed to see that. It was something she wanted from him.

Commander Bacara

Date: 2008-01-12 15:25 EST
"Agreed no more secrets..."

He kissed her from that spot. It was cute. When she looked like she was. He had her chin tilted up and his lips pressed to hers. Boy she always made him be what she wanted.

BlueDreamz

Date: 2008-01-12 18:54 EST
Koyi melted in that kiss. It was one of those things she found bliss in, even in this point. Each kiss with him was like the first one. Holding him tight she pulled away. Eyes on him she whispered softly," And don't think you can kiss me every time you're in trouble." Grinning to him as she sighed.

Looking down at her hand she had hurt she sighed again. All this over a male. It was new to her. Closing her eyes she thought of how much she had to be honest to herself and be herself. She'd expect the same from Bacara. All she ever wanted from him was him as himself. Honest to the end. It was the only way they could take the steps forwards with each other.
