The carousel may be a relatively tame ride to some or to certain individuals it may serve as a kind of catalyst. It is meant to show the individual something of significance that is unique to them.

This may be experienced in a variety of ways from (but not limited to) a window into their past lives/soul patterns, uncovering a suppressed memory/unknown ability, living an experience through someone else's eyes and how your behavior affected them for good or ill, a crossing of dimensional barriers, a window into finding something/someone that until now has been lost, guidance from a departed loved one or spirit guide/animal totem.

How the carousel affects your character (if it does at all) and what they experience is entirely up to you! This is just for fun so feel free to play and ask questions.

Unlike other carousels, this one is a mixture of various animals both standard and mythical in nature. Each figure is unique, not one of the figures was carved alike or duplicated. Each meticulously crafted from a different kind of wood from all over the world with its own unique properties. The Dragon is carved from the Alder Tree, the Wolf of African Blackwood, the Lion from Lignum Vitae, The Unicorn from American Holly etc.

Some may find they gravitate to certain figures on the carousel more than others. There is only one rule and that is that the carousel will never take you to the same place twice.

Perhaps one of the carousel?s unique animals calls out to you, perhaps you share a trait or experience unique to both it and you or perhaps you want to ride on one of the traditional painted horses. Take your pick but line up quickly as there are only two of each creature per ride aside from the horses.

There is a sign by the ticket box that reads: Owner and operator of The Carousel not responsible for loss of Limb, Valuables, or Sanity. Buckle up and Ride at your Own Risk.

(OOC Note: Fiametta operates the carousel and stands by the ticket box to collect the tickets from the riders. She always requests that riders read the sign above before taking a spin on the carousel. Her preference is to let the individual choose their own figure, but if they look a little lost, she may suggest one for the rider based on how she reads them. If you'd like your character to interact with Fiametta at the carnival beyond her taking the tickets, please pm me to discuss details.)
