The seasons of sleep and repose were coming to an end, and like a magnificent phoenix, the land would rise from its deadened ashes and claim newer, stronger, greener life. With Beltane on the rise, Ms. McClae found her spirits roaring with life as well. The windows of the woman's wagon had been flung open to let in the fresh rush of air and the sounds of bird and breeze alike as their bodies whispered through the new growth blossoming all about the southern glen. Bursting at the seams with this seasonal zeal, and knowing the first of the solstice celebrations were soon to come, Lilliana began digging about her spring-sprung caravan for a few extra bits and baubles to toss in a large wicker trunk.

"This... an' tha', an' tha' t'oo. Haha, I remember when I go' Brish' t'wear these..." Mumbling to herself, the gypsy witch was slowly piling up what looked like a silken, shining rainbow of cloths and tarnished brass ends of jingles and belts, of coin dangles and all sorts of accents made for a dancers spinning form. With all these lovely odds and ends the basket she'd been putting them all in was already growing full and threatening to spill over. The smile she bore was positively radiating with good cheer, and why not? T'was season of the sun.

Moving back up to a stand with a whirl on her heels, the witch continued on her mission, her smile inching ever wider as a bright snatch of rhyme sang along out on her husky tongue. Somewhere in the corners of her wagon, Lilliana was sure she also had a few choice instruments hiding. Thankfully the witch had all week to fully ready herself...
"W' rings on her fingers an' bells on her t'oes, she shall have music where'er she goes..." It was a little tune she'd heard from her lovely sister, Niamh. Something about how it was used to make the overly yappy youngin's shut their mouths, but somehow Lilli found the tune a little too pleasant and let it creep back out and play along with her as she worked.

Lights and carpets. She'd be needing those too. Thankfully the gypsy had a good stock of her glass outside fixtures from the year before; hanging bottles built and b'strung to hold candles and pump out a cheery, ambient, off colored glow. These were all courtesy of the Red Dragon of course, that place served enough spirits to fill a dry riverbed, all Lilliana had had to do the year prior was give them a good washing in the creek and peel off the labels, and give them a nice, long, upside down drying in the summer's sun. Though some hadn't quite made it through the season, she was sure she'd be able to gather and fashion some more in time.

Later her sights turned to the idea of beverages; surely the Inn wouldn't mind the extra business her event would be bringing to their building's front, but the gypsy knew not all the best dancing feet were willing and sober feet; sometimes it just took the right kind of drink to get folks loose and goosed enough to sway out and have a good time. Thankfully, given her bit of clout and respect amongst the Sidhe, Lilliana really only had to speak to a few low lying elderberry bushes and creeping toadstool rings to make the right preparations and deals. The fae may be fickle creatures, but the gypsy knew what kind of tools and bits to barter with to get her hands on a decent set of wine from their fabled breweries. Like any good tradeswoman though, she had to sample a sip.

It was a sweet, dry, heady vintage with just the right hint of late summer berries and a latent linger of peach on the back of the tongue. Herbs she couldn't place were potent in the fragrant body as well, but no matter how much the fiery buxom tried, the fae she dealt with would not release their secrets. Content with the arrangement, however, especially when the winged tricksters offered up some delicate delicacies as well, Lilliana conceded and continued with her preparations for the coming week. Flyers would go up of course, and with a little bit of good ole' fashioned word of mouth and a touch of that fae candy and drink she'd acquired, the gypsy was sure the night would be a grand thing.

OOC NOTE:
The fairy food and drink are obviously tinged with magic, but nothing harmful. It's meant as a fun thing for you to incorporate with your character in play if you so choose, I would never force silliness on someone! Heh.
Anywho, the wine is very potent and is meant to sink in faster than 'mortal' brews. The candy is as well. Both are meant to soften one's edges and maybe let them cast off inhibitions and reserves they would normally have. Side effects may include excessive giggling, singing, dancing, rosy cheeks, a mildly elevated heart rate, intoxication, easier-to-come-laughter, the want to try new things, the want to involve one's self in merriment, and the urge to indulge in feelings one might normally have about others, but wouldn't normally dare indulge in... Such as telling a crush you think they're pretty, getting up the nerve to dance with someone or give them a good night kiss, etc, etc...
Obviously if your character is immune to such influences, all the stuff's just going to be exceptionally tasty. But... whatever your charries deal, the sweeties and drinkies are there to incorporate as you see fit. :)
