There she stood. On the roof of Dalia's shop. A amused grin creasing her face. High heeled boots lead her to the hatch that opened up. Opening it up with ease she dropped down silently into the rafters. Icy blue hues glancing down below her. For now she would only observe. The time to make a new ally was now. With Khoss gone she would try to get Dalia on her side for her cause. Her mission was simple: gain a powerful ally, that would be Dalia, and simply destroy Khoss. Was this possible? Well...Mayhaps it was. But she couldn't do it alone. Perhaps Dalia's help would be enough to help her achieve her goal. Also if Dalia needed help with something she would be more than willing to lend her talents.

Coming to the decision that she had hidden long enough she dropped from the rafters and into the main part of the shop. She knew that she had set off some sort of magical security system and that Dalia would know she was here soon enough. She crossed her arms as she studied the shop.

Dalia had been on her way downstairs to deal with the "intruder alarm", when she was stopped in the hallway by a frantic Koya. Shushing the woman's babbling and crying, she shoved her into her own room and locked her in; she'd deal with her raving lunacy later.

Barefoot, regal as always, Dalia descended the stairs. She paused on the first landing, looking down into the shop and at the woman who was perusing the items there.

Smiling, hand resting on the banister, and the other on her hip, she spoke to the other woman, "Welcome to Dalia's Dark Side. I am Dalia. Is there something I can help you with?"

Her smile looked genuine, but the other woman would be able to tell she was on alert, body tensed to leap over the railing to fight. Dalia was in a good mood, therefore she was graciously allowing the woman to explain herself instead of attacking first and asking questions later.

Skirt lifted in one hand, she descended the final steps, aquamarine eyes glowing softly in the dim lighting of the shop. She met the gaze of her intruder, the smile never faltering."I assume you are here to meet me, since we are closed at the moment. I assume it must be important, since you took the time to break in. I will also assume you are not here to kill me or mine, yet. You would have attempted to do so already, be that the case. So, my dear, what is it I can do for you?"

Chiana had heard the whole thing from her doorway, having been drawn out by the shouting of Koya. She stood there, eyes locking with Dalia's as she passed, not backing down or bowing her head, as she knew the woman wanted. She'd obey, she'd do what was asked to keep things easier for herself, but she did have a line she would not cross. Gods help her if Dalia asked her to cross it, because she knew the madwoman would force her to jump it. She'd lose control over herself, she knew the woman wasn't bluffing.

Having heard the order to be sent down after her, Chiana grabbed up the knife on her dresser, and slid it into the sheath at her hip. She'd already figured out that Dalia wanted her for an enforcer and body guard.

Silently, the tall, athletically built vampire followed after her hated Mistress, the silver "slave" ring on her finger throbbing out of shame and self loathing. She sighed, hair being tied back from her face in case she'd need to fight, a leather thong quickly knotted in place.

She stood behind Dalia, arms loose and hanging at her sides, but tensed in readiness. She watched the woman who was seemingly browsing in the store, already knowing that she was probably outmatched against her.

Chiana was not a sensitive like Koya, she had had no psi talents prior to becoming a vampire, but she knew this woman was powerful. She could see that Dalia and this woman were a lot alike, their power and strength radiating off them like an aura. Gods be damned. She was probably going to get killed all over again, and over this damned madwoman!!

Those icy blue hues of hers looked up when she heard the sound of bare feet whispering against the steps. A wicked smile crossed her face when she had caught sight of Dalia. Crossing her arms she casually leaned against one of the shelves. Giving a slight bow of her head, "Thank you for welcoming me." Her soft yet crisp voice said. She slowly nodded as she had listened to what the woman had said. That wicked smile of hers slowly turning into a smirk, "Yes, you are correct. I indeed did come to meet you. And no I offer no harm to you and yours. Why, that would be awfully foolish of me now wouldn't it?"

She pushed away from the shelf and slowly came closer to Dalia holding out a hand in greeting, "My name is Tynan but you can call me Ty for short. The reason I so rudely broke into your store is because you and I have a common enemy and we have a common goal of destroying him or at least making him wish he didn't exist anymore."

Power flowed in those lovely eyes of hers. Yes, she was pretty blood thirsty where that certain person was concerned.

This peaked her interest. A graceful arched brow lofted, her hand extended to take that of Ty's. "A pleasure, Ty. Welcome to my home. But I am confused, I must admit. I do have an enemy I wish to disembowel and then bathe in her blood, but she is exactly that: a she. Who is this "him" you speak of?"

She motioned for Chiana to stand beside her, a nod to her, the only praise she would give the woman until she could prove her loyalty was not given from her threats.

Then it dawned on her, oh yes. Khoss. A sour look crossed her face, as if she'd bitten into something rancid, poisonous. It was gone in an instant. "You must mean the foul demon-spawn that banished me from his little playground." She turned, heading towards the coffee bar at the side of the shop. Stronger libations were tucked away beneath the counter, she assumed Ty and Chiana would follow her. "It was because of him that my dear brother and I were killed, again." Smirking, she shrugged a bare shoulder and heaved a sigh.

Plucking clean glasses from the rack, the amber bottle of whiskey was placed on the bar. "Can I offer you a drink, Ty? Whiskey? Port? I believe Lyric has some of that foul flavored vodka here somewhere, as well." The slight wrinkle to her nose the only sign of contempt for the poison of choice of her teenage charge.

Beauty In Negative

Koya had come back to Lyric's room with food, only to find the girl gone. A note on the bed, "Gone to Kalasal" the only clue. Frustrated, worried, and annoyed, Koya ran down the stairs to alert Dalia.

As she went, she thought of the odd way Lyric had been acting, the male voices coming from her room the other day. What had the girl gotten herself into, now?

"Dalia, I am sorry to interrupt but Lyric is gone. She left a note. Koya nodded, dipping into a slight bow to Dalia's guest, Tynan. She offered a weak smile of apology, and another, deeper bow to Dalia. "I took my eyes off her for only a moment. I am sorry, Dalia. Shall I go find this "Kalasal", whatever that is?"

Hands wringing, worry darkening her face, she glanced to Chiana, and then to Dalia, not knowing which she should fear most. Chiana was in charge of Lyric most of the time, but Dalia had needed her for this. Would Koya be able to find the girl and bring her back? Was Dalia going to be mad at her about this?

A growl caught in her throat at the interruption, but she pasted a fake smile on her lips. Eyes averted from meeting Koya's should the woman see the anger, the flash of evil intent in them at her news, she extended her hand for the note.

Cooly, her composure regained, Dalia nodded at the bow, at the woman who took shelter here with her. Another smile, this one to Ty, "It seems I have a slight problem. Excuse me a moment, would you?" Stepping around the bar to take Koya tightly by the arm, she led her beneath the stairs, whispering fiercely, "She left?? She did not come down the stairs, she would have passed me. How did she leave? Never mind. Go, go upstairs and get me a suitable dress laid out, shoes, and such. Dress yourself, as well, and for Devil's sake, take Chiana up there and dress her as well. We are to go calling on Mrs. Rie de'Morte or whatever she calls herself. She will NOT steal my Lyric away. GO!" Releasing Koya, she turned and sharply barked at Chiana, "Go, change, but bring weapons. Conceal them. We have to get Lyric back. Foolish twit has gone off to find her Mother again, I believe."

Skirts a swirl, visual display of her anger, she marched over to Ty and extended a hand. "Ty, I am so sorry. I must attend to this. The girl's mother and friends were all killed by the being we both despise. Lyric is my charge, I have taken her in since then. She has run off to this accursed Kalasal Castle for some idiotic reason. You understand, I am sure? Do come by again, won't you?" Kissing the woman briefly on her hand, and then each cheek in a sign of friendship. "You can let yourself out, yes? Oh and if you see anything in the shop you need, feel free to take it with you. It's the least I can do for hurrying off like this."

With a final smile and gentle squeeze of her hand, Dalia turned and followed her harem upstairs to change. Lyric was going to pay for this, and dearly. Perhaps Dalia just might share her with her new friend, to teach her a lesson.

Chiana turned on a bootheel, grumbling under her breath about the hot headed teen. She climbed the stairs with trepidation, just knowing for sure these two women were going to make her wear some dress, some pink thing. Just to punish her for allowing Lyric to get out. Sh!t, shouldn't Dalia have locked her in her room or something, if she wasn't supposed to leave?

Tugging at her collar, the o-ring twisting around her finger, reminding her of her forced submission in this household. She silently cheered Lyric, a wry smile hovering over those full lips. She hoped they wouldn't be able to find her, she hoped the girl had wised up and gotten free of this psychotic b!tch.

A wicked grin crossed her face when Dalia realized she was indeed talking about Khoss. Then a curiousity came over her features as she noted the little emergency going on. She gave a low sweeping bow to Dalia, "Yes, my dear. It is perfectly understandable."

Turning around she found a piece of paper and a pen. Quickly she scribbled down the address to her home. She mentioned the address and that is where Dalia could reach her when she had the time. After saying goodbye to everyone she left out of the front door.

The night hitting her like a slap in the face she for once didn't fear for the safety of her beloved family. For once in her long life she let herself feel the false security that nothing could go wrong.
