My Chains

My Chains is an interactive storyline, given the incredible ability to have just about anyone participate in their own little way, should they so choose to. Before the beginning of this SL Skid's son, Teshid, had received a note telling him what was happening to Skid and a list of people to pass the information on to.

Luckily for anyone wanting to be involved, this is simple enough to just, vapor. If your character knows Skid, and you want to have them visit with Chryrie or Skid himself, you have a couple of options available to you.

Firstly, and most unavoidably, your character would've been approached by Teshid and given the situation, and location of them all. They're at the Dark Lake Manor, where Chryrie resides.

From there, you have the options. You can have a completely one-sided post if you'd like your character to simply speak to Skid, as he hangs there, breathing and useless. They can tell him anything they want, and he just won't respond. He'll remain catatonic throughout, and they can leave when they're done. You can post to the thread with that as long as you shoot me a PM or snag me on AIM with your post first, to make sure it's all good.

Your second option is an interactive dialogue. Skid may not exactly be *there*, but there's certainly *something* sentient in that husk, and it may find your character interesting enough to respond to. If you'd like to take this path, again, PM me or snag me on AIM so we can arrange stuff.

This SL could take anywhere from a week to who knows how long, so it's got room to grow and change.

Also! If you don't want to take part in it, you have the incredible option of - you guessed it - NOT taking part in it!
