Hylan Harbour was home to the expensive and floatable playthings of New Haven?s finest citizens. The yacht at Dock 12 proved no exception to this rule. Tonight however The Missus Mallie as her owner Daven Mallie, sole proprietor of the Millie & Mallie department store chain, called her, had a larger purpose than simply providing its owner with a place to woo his latest conquest. Tonight the yacht would host the guests of Matthew Algiers Simon and Koyliak VanDuran as they finally gave up their claim to the record of RhyDin?s longest lasting unwed couple.

Decorated with white paper lanterns, the ceremony would take place underneath the night sky on the upper deck of the yacht. White chairs had been set out to accommodate the entire guest list, an eclectic mix of fierce duelers, fashionable socialites, dedicated soldiers and the local bar flies. The reception would follow on the main deck inside the long dining hall. To go along with the unconventional congregation, a calypso band had been hired to play while guests dined on their choice of lobster, prime rib, or jerked chicken for the main course. A bevy of waiters had been hired to keep the appetizers and the drinks coming.

The chiffon and silk tulle gown carried the faintest hint of pink in its fabric, some of which clung to her upper-body before the skirt started to flow from her left hip. The blush of pink against her skin lit up her features and brought to mind sunrises in dewy meadows despite the moonlight. The tiered layers falling past her ankles in wave after wave of shredded chiffon and tulle plisse as she walked enhanced the illusion that the elf was a moving flower, fresh from the gardens and blossoming in front of the congregation?s very eyes.

The wedding cake is a triple berry, vanilla buttercream cake with six stacked, square tiers divided by fresh orange pave roses.
