Jial was running like mad in his tiger form panting trying to follow her sent. ?Scarlet!? he roared but as soon as he landed in the clearing where she was he was hit and every thing went black.

When he came too he was tied to a tree with steel chains and he heard her scream. ?Scarlet!? he knew it was her he smelled her on everything even the other men. He roared in anger and tried to break free but they just held him back and whispered hideous words in his ears.

They injected her with a poison that killed a vampire in minuets, and they made him watch as they use blades to cut her. Razors, knifes, double sided blades, and with every cut she cried out and every time the Lykens laughed and bottled her blood.

For years the Lykens had hunted down the vampires to get a hold of there princess. Jial had not only worked for the Lykens in order to lead them away, but also he had kept the princess safe in his shack. There she hid from danger and fell in love with Jial as did he her. But once they found out that he was hiding her they hunted the both.

But Jial was damned if he was going to give his only love up with out a fight. She had been sent to him from both heaven and hell, and he was going to keep his love his GIFT safe. But they had got to her before he had escaped with her. And now he sat watching her die when they finely left the two alone Jial was cut across his chest and had marks were the chains dug into his writs.

But as he picked her up he found that the body he held was not that of his princess Scarlet but that of the woman Val who he was falling for like rocks in a lake. ?VAL!! VAL NO!!! YOU CAN?T LEAVE ME I JUST FOUND YOU!!!?

Jial was laying on the couch in a cold sweat his hair plastered to his face as he cried out in maddening sorrow. ?VAL!!! Dear god don?t go don?t take her from me!! NOT NOW!!! NOT AGAN!!!?

He felt clammy and his face was pail as well as his whole body like the life was running from him slowly his hair showed his face as well as the curse mark and he continued
To beg Val not to leave his side even though it was not real it hurt. ?Val??? he whispered into the air of the dark room.

Jial sat up then and walked the dark halls the moon and stars giveing him little light. "Val!" he called out wondering if she was out feeding or perhaps in bed. with that he troted to her room opaning the door very slightly.

He walked in and looked arownd with a whisper. "Val...?" he said sofly.

She had been perched on the window sill of an open window, the sheer, gauzy curtains billowing into the room concealed her figure. She spoke softly, "Over here."

She was more herself, but did not turn to face him. She was watching the ducks in the backyard pond.

Sighing gently and leaning back into Jial's arms, yet she couldn't completely relax. She was still remembering the things she had done when she blacked out, grateful for his device that had recorded them and showed them to her, but scared. She was scared she was losing it again.

She smelled his fear, and that brought her back to the present. Turning to face him, her fangs tingling, her predatory instincts trying to run rampant within her, but she controls herself. He was not food, he was not prey, "What is it, Jial? You are upset, I can smell it. It makes the monster in me want to eat you...is it fear?"

Concerned, she kissed his cheeks, smoothed his hair, and fought the desire to feed from him, to chase him down, pounce on him, and devour him body and soul. "I..I want you. I want to taste you, Jial. What is happenening?"

He pulled her close and kissed her neck sofly. "Trust me ive done this before." he said sofly kissing her sholder blade then her neck and her chin then smiled kissing her lovly neck agan.

He opend his mouth to let his own cat like fangs grow no they wernt long but they were sharp as hell and he ran those down her neck and sholder hit leveing even a scratch as he held her close to him his neck and sholder fully bared.

He would give him self to her forever if she wanted him to.
