The old way of creating a Lupinossai may seem restricting in some ways. Such as where they come from or how their bodies react with magic, their specific history and so forth.

If anyone ever still wants to create a Lupinossai from the original timeline or that follows the original details of them being created then they may do so. But, if you were to want to create a Lupinossai or have spin off ideas of them then that is also perfectly fine. In fact, the world of Lupinoss and Sliinkaa is not limited to just Lupinossai. They had many other races, including humans. (I will need to look up and find the list of races that I can't find. Will edit that soon.) So, you wouldn't even have to limit yourself to Lupinossai if you wanted them to relate to places such as this. For basic Lupinossai appearances and what they're like, go here to get an idea: Making a Lupinossai

We have even created Lupinossai from alternate realms that are even based off the basics, but have their own differences that separate them from the original. This would range from their worlds being far different, races having different traits, their cultures, their histories being far out of this world.

One example of free-formed Lupinossai kind of characters are a pair of characters I and another player have. Yaji'is Nylta'al and Ciri Sol'daar. These two are far from the original Lupinoss. The Sliinkaa they come from is nothing but chaos. Gods of good and evil fight and many have taken sides and fight against each other or fight to protect the weak or whatever they believe is just. Their world has turned mostly into a scorched planet of destruction from centuries of fighting. Humans even became more of a rarity in their world.

Another example of alternate kind of version of a timeline (one that was even being currently thought out as an adventure for our dear Fleety) is that in their world the Humarans (humans) were winning against the anthros in the war. All Great Dens were destroyed except Spritor's and instead of Spritor trying to kill everyone off, he became the savior of the anthros and fighting off the humarans and even living in a futuristc style of life with magic instead of a more medieval time. And people like Ammy Spiritor never being who she was that came to Rhy'Din and instead became a ruthless military leader that stayed human and not be turned into a Lupinossai.

Those two things are just examples of how different things could be. In other words, let imagination come to mind. Even if you wanted the character to come from their world where everyone's got rainbow fur and skin, that would be more than fine. You can even use the original details as an idea starter, can even make things similar with a few small changes even. If you also wish to have a Lupinossai that isn't even related to any of the history or timeline and had just come from a different world in general, like an asteroid from space, that is also perfectly fine.

Hopefully this post might help give some ideas or help note that things don't have to be so restrictive anymore when creating a character if someone wants to make one that relates to the Den City.

On note of that, we have a bit of a undergoing project about a branched off city (like how Fang Wood Academy is branched off here) and hopefully it will help with more ideas to help make things interesting. More information on that will be revealed once it is more fleshed out.

But with being able to even branch out from more free-formed characters to them coming from even their own worlds could help create more variable kinds of adventures which could lead to all kinds of fun.
