Den Leader?s promises are kept:

Our new den Leader, Mirius Pojoris, has so far been keeping up with promises she has told the Den. From authority equipment upgrades to keep the Den much safer, to introducing new technology to the Den and more!

Geared up for a new tomorrow

DFLEA authorities have already received their first set of new equipment that will help our local authorities in being able to do their job much more safely and effectively. Among these items DFLEA officers will be protected not only from physical world weapons with new armor, but magical as well. On top of that they will also be using preferably non-lethal stasis guns as well as guns that can zap all magical energies out of any magical being, so whether the person is normal or magical they will be prepared no matter who it is. It has been stated authorities will use lethal force still if it is necessary, but that is not an option they want to resort to and will only be done by last resort.

The local authority has also been granted an upgrade to their headquarters. Their building is being expanded to some degree to make room for new equipment, new officers, training grounds and more! All in all, DFLEA is certainly not being left in the dark and is moving forward with the rest of the Den and will help ensure we all have a safe future as we look for a better tomorrow.

The Den?s army will also be getting as much attention as DFLEA is as well, which is very good news! You never know when another crazy Spiritor general may come knocking at the Den gates again looking to take over the Den. As to what the Den Army will be getting is unknown and no information has been released as of yet.

Den Hospital and Orphanage

Whisper Paws Hospital and Wings of Foxingale Orphanage have also been promised that they will be getting new care as well. No action has been taken yet, but it is in planning mode that they will be getting face-lifts where needed. Both the hospital and orphanage have been places that have taken everyone in and never denying a single soul. It is only fair that they also get all the help they possibly can.

On that note, Mirius Pojoris herself has been putting a plan together that the orphanage will be getting a dedicated charity organization that will be taking donations of any kind to the orphanage. From clothing, toys or even food if anyone wants to cook for the parentless children to give them a wonderful breakfast, lunch or dinner to brighten up their day. The charity will be active at least for few days every week to actively take in donations around the den, but if you can?t make those days then all you have to do is stop by the orphanage itself and drop something off. More information will be put out to the public when things are finalized for both the Whisper Paws Hospital and Wings of Foxingale Orphanage.

In a special request from Mirius, she wished to state to the public through the den howler, ?If you aren?t able to adopt a child in need, at least give them happiness in knowing that even strangers care and that they have not been forgotten.?

New technology, new experiences

Some people may have noticed there have been new shops popping up here and there. Shops with strange items of various sizes, flashy boxes that make all kinds of noises and doodads people can have over their ears and fit in their pockets. Electronic stores have made an opening over the past week near shopping districts in buildings that have not been in use. There are not many of these stores, but in the future more plan to be opened up if things work well and people enjoy these new fancy items.

To accommodate with this new technology for the whole Den, there will be large capacity energy cells that will be able to store electrical energy for the whole Den. These capacitors are said to be environment friendly and perfectly safe. How long they will last before needing to recharge is unknown yet and is still under study. The engineers behind the idea also said that this will allow mages that are adept in the electric arts of magic will be able to recharge these devices.

While that is in progress, utility workers will be working on making power lines throughout the Den and reach every area so no one will have to be left in the dark. For the mean time, these electronic stores will also be selling small mobile battery chargers for mobile electronic devices such as phones, mobile computers and the like. Until the Den has power sources available for most of the Den, these mobile battery chargers will be optionally free with the purchase of other electronic items and be able to run your electronic items like computers or other dependant electronics for days.

But, do not throw them away when the charges run out of energy! It is said the best part of these mobile battery charges is that they have the ability to be recharged without the threat of being fried, unlike the electronic devices. For more information on electronics, please visit the local electronic stores where they will be able to explain everything to you.

Den Howler Business Spotlight

Here at the Den Howler we like to contribute to the community and want to help in everyway we can. Instead of just delivering just the news now, we are proud to present the Den Howler Business Spotlight. In this new section we will be helping local businesses, new and old, get wanted and needed attention for their business. People can always mail us special requests if we ever miss a cool, neat place that people might find very interesting.

We would like to start this new section of the Den Howler off with a store located in the smithing district. This store is known as Prismpaw?s. What?s there you might ask? It is certainly not a new electronic store and it is certainly not an old time smithing shop full of swords and armor. This shop sells clockwork. Imagine toys, music boxes, and more all created from clockwork! Garnet Prismpaw, the owner of this shop, has created all kinds of amazing items and has even been seen with a big lion she created. Don?t believe us? Go and check yourself! Prismpaw?s shop is located in the smithing district. It is full of many wonderful and creative creations that won?t disappoint you at all!

Update on Modernization

Engineers and utility workers have been working long and hard as they help bring the Den a new world of lights, electrical power and more. Instead of power poles and power lines that could be a potential hazard, especially for those who fly, most power lines will be run underground. So, if you see them burying lines don?t go digging them up or you?ll be in for a shock! Other than that, many homes and shops now even have electrical lights and other fancy appliances. There has even been more shops that have opened up or even with updated inventory to satisfy anything you tech-lovers want.

Along with this new tech moving in, some people in the Den have felt unsure and uneasy about all this new technology. With a survey done within the Den it would appear that it is mostly the younger generations that are excited for this change. It is no surprise since many people who live in the Den are traditionalist and believe in old ways and hard work. Of course, there is nothing wrong with this and our leader has assured she will not make the entire Den modernized; leaving room for old school metal smithing, armor smithing, farming, etcetera. Again, anyone who wishes not to be involved with new technology in their works will not be forced to do so.

Den Hospital and Orphanage

Last issue we spoke a bit about charities and new technologies going for the hospital and orphanage. Good news is that dream is coming true! With the support of charities for the orphanage, and even charities for the hospital now, those who have been out on luck in life and have had unfortunate fates have been receiving items of hope and shown they have not been left in the dark.

Children at the orphanage have had more smiles than they ever had before with new toys, people who?ve brought food to give them nice meals and for those who couldn?t afford to give much they even gave kids very nice and pretty cards with uplifting poems and songs to be read to them. The children have been even receiving new clothes whether someone bought them for them or clothing shops giving away any clothes to spare.

The hospital has certainly been a place that?s already had power for quite some time on its own, but even it will be getting lifted along with the modernization. They have been acquiring new equipment and tools to do their jobs more effectively and safely. Of course, the Den hospital has always been the safest they can be, but when peoples lives are on the line you want to reduce any chance of anything ever going wrong as much as possible!

There are new ways to immediately get help from the Den hospital now. With phones being in homes now, in the phone books people will find numbers for medical emergencies to call for any assistance that is needed. The hospital will even now have medical response teams to come and assist if someone is unable to be moved at that moment of time. So, if you have any illnesses, severe or minor, and injuries that need medical attention the Whisper Paws Hospital will still be there for you and will have new ways of helping.

Strange news

Lately something odd has been going on in the Den and it certainly was not part of any changes of plans to the Den. According to reports there is people being turned into different colors all over the Den. Some say it was drinking the city water, others say it was the food. But it appears no matter what the cause is, almost everyone has turned into different colors. Some even being rainbow colored!

Luckily, there?s no reports of this being an actual illness and there is no bad side effects. It has been said there is a powerful being that has messed with the Den in the past just for humor, but never brings harm to people. It is expected this would be from the same one and has a made a return. As to how long this colorful event will last, no one is sure.

Den Howler Business Spotlight

We bring two wonderful shops this spotlight for you all to read about in this issue.

First off, have you ever wanted the latest fashions and accessories to stand out in the crowd? Need to look good for a date or for a formal event? We?re here to announce that Ammy Spiritor?s shop has been moved and renamed to The Alchemist?s Fire located in the marketplace district in Rhy?Din city. If you loved her potions, spells and nifty magical items then you now know where to find her newly opened shop. It has been said she even has new surprises there, but there?s only one way to find out and that?s to give Ammy Spiritor herself a visit!

Civilian Intimidation or Safety Precautions?

It is without a doubt many have noticed our den militia, Den Fang Law Enforcement Agency (D.F.L.E.A.) and the newly created Den City Response Team (D.C.R.T.) unit getting high tech equipment and weaponry. This appears to have become a controversy within the Den. Many are having suspicions about how our new leader Mirius Pojoris is handling this all. Some are thinking it is good to have this protection against intruders that have caused us many problems in the past, but others are believing our leader may be going towards old Spiritor style ways of ruling a den in a militaristic way.

Spiritor styled Dens have been very well known for ruling their cities and towns with soldiers backing their rules. Given that Mirius herself has grown up in Great Den Spiritor and has a long history from being in war, this has stirred a great worry in some that she may be on that same path. So, we reached out to Mirius herself to see why she was really bringing all this new weaponry and gadgets into our city. Here is what she had to say:

?I know it seems excessive, but how many times has this city been attacked? How many people have died because they couldn?t fight back? I?m not letting this happen again while I?m around and I?m not running this place like Igneous runs his.

Yes, I know the den has a big magic shield around it that protects it from even the most powerful gods, but what if it fails somehow? We need multiple lines of defense. And even then imagine if people snuck in and attacked without magic? I remember finding out about bombings, assassinations, gang wars and so on. And even then there?s people outside the Den that are not in the magical shield and they may need help. That?s what all this is for. To prepare us for the worst.

But I won?t be running this Den with guns pointed at everyone?s head. Only the guards on the walls will be geared up like that in public for safety reasons, but regular officers spread out in the city will remain a friendly public look like they always have. I won?t have soldiers walking everywhere in our Den trying to scare everyone.?

For those with doubts, let?s hope our dear leader holds true to her words. I know I certainly would not want to live under oppression and fear for my life. After all, who would?

Modernization: It?s becoming a good thing

Aside from a frightening new law enforcement, the people of the Den have been enjoying the new technologies while few are still hesitant on it all. To many it is like bringing a completely different world into another. It?s not easy bringing such high tech devices and gadgets into a city that?s always been in more simple times, but it?s turning out nicely.

Promises were kept on leaving some areas of the den without the touch of new technology. Traditionalist have been thankful for that as it also keeps the old touch to the Den and where it all came from. Although, they might find some of the new things here and there annoying it doesn?t mean that it isn?t good that the Den is progressing.

It can now be seen that many have things such as cell phones, mobile computers or ones meant for home, flashlights, electronic toys and shops to supply all these wonderful new things. With lights on the streets, in homes, even to the point of having heaters and air conditioning units being installed for these homes, the people of the Den can live more comfortable lives now. And with all that fur, these AC units really make these hot summers cool! The unfortunate part is, some parents are having trouble getting some of their young ones detached from these new devices and try to get them outside more now.

On top of all this, one new item that Soultri kind will love is a fancy-type of glasses that they can wear for their sensitive eyes. At first being only available to law enforcement agencies here at the den, it?s being allowed now to be sold to the public since they are deemed safe. Coming in all varieties of styles, these crazy little high-tech glasses are able to adjust to the lighting around them. What this means is if you have eyes that are sensitive to light, putting these on can help prevent lights from blinding you as their shading density can adjust appropriately to how much light is facing them. There are glasses varying depending on how sensitive your eyes are, so be sure to pick out the right ones!

The less fortunate becoming fortunate

Charities for the unfortunate are still going strong within the Den. Those with little in their lives have been given support with food, clothing and are being helped back up so they can get to maintaining their own families and homes again. Those without homes have been allowed to take up place in abandoned structures that have been remodeled since the modernization has begun. Given that many buildings were empty from past attacks and people being killed, these buildings were not in use and are decided to finally be used again.

The support for the orphanage has also been going well. These young pups get new clothes on their backs, they get volunteers coming in to help take care of them and education is being a sure thing for all of them now. They may have lost their parents and homes, but that doesn?t mean they should lose their chance at a good life.

Strange News

I?m sure we were all thankful being colored like rainbows for a week ended, but it seems another joke has apparently happened. Around the libraries in the Den, or where any books are for that matter, it appears books have begun to read themselves out loud when they are opened. Even matching voices upon different characters of their stories. At first many of us thought something was possessing our books, but we are starting to believe it is that same old entity known as Aramus fooling us all again. But I suppose a book reading itself too us isn?t too bad. One fun thing is to leave it open to a page and it?s almost as if it were an audio recording speaking to you!

Den City's Fishing Tournament

After some time of doing planning an event for the Den and talking to the Fishing Guild. We are pleased to announce that the Den City will have its first ever fishing tournament! From August 15th to the 21st both locals and newcomers within the Den can join the fishing tournament. Needed equipment will be supplied from the guild itself, although they ask for people to return the items once they are done with them.

The goals of the event is to have fun, although there will be rewards for certain types of fish caught. There will be money, finely crafted items and more for rewards. You can even keep the fish you catch. Never fished before and want to learn how? This will also be a great time for that! There are many masters of fishing that will be there and will gladly help get more people interested into the fishing world.

For more details please visit the event organizers at the Den circle. They will have further details on our local event that will take place right outside our walls by our lake.

What else is new?

If Fishing is not your type of entertainment then you may love this part of the news. We are proud to announce the grand opening of the Foxingale Plaza and The Glowing Whisker Club. For some time both of these structures were being made and the modernization of the Den City helped push them along to welcoming the new style of life within our beloved city. Both were created under Cobalt Foxingale, a daughter of Foxingale herself, and supposed associates who helped create these wonderful public structures.

The plaza and club will be open for everyone, although the Glowing Whisker Club will be more associated for adults while the plaza is for anyone to enjoy. So, if you do not want to smell like fish or get wet then the new plaza and club might suit your interests!

Strange News

It appears the Den cannot go long without that mysterious being causing silly events of its own within our city. Luckily, they have become less frequent for us and when they happen they don't last long at all, but there has been another case as of late. It would appear there are special talking stones lying around here and there. It has been advised to not pick them up or speak to them or they will cast a magical spell on you. it has been reported that the symptoms are of changing one's body in some way such as becoming another race whether it be dwarven, dragon, human and more! There was also a few reports of a few people who had an unfortunate change of direction in their gender!

We did reach out to Mirius Pojoris on the matter of all these frequent silly pranks that keep being pulled on the city. In quotes her word were, "As annoying as it can be I assure these stupid little events that go one won't be permanent just like the others never were. There's some entity that hangs around my family that calls himself Aramus Con Jackuss and he likes to be silly, although he means no harm. Yes, I talked to the thing before about stopping doing these things but all he did as a response was turn me blue for a week."

Mirius Pojoris also had noted during my interview with her that the shield protecting the city cannot keep this Aramus out either since he is not aggressive. At least we can all say that this strange being is only doing things for amusement and not to harm anyone, although I know not everyone likes pranks. What do all of you locals believe? Should we embrace frequent oddities that attempt to brighten our life in a way that is not harmful or should this being go away for good?

Den Howler Business Spotlight

Although we mentioned the new grand openings of some shops above in our new issue it is only fair to still put a spotlight on our existing businesses who work hard to stay around and serve our home. So, in this spotlight we would like to put our official spotlight on Rumples General Store! If you do not like going into fancy, big stores and want a smaller, friendlier place for general common needs then this may be just the place for you.

With new items on the market there is no doubt some have made it into Rumples' inventory, so head there and give his shop a visit! You never know, you might find many things you like all in one place and at great prices!

Teach-Beat:

Hello to all our Den Howler readers and all of you that have been tuning into 104.1 Air Paws hosted and ran by DJ Cobalt Foxingale-Fenua within Den City and abroad. Your fluffy and scattered reporter, Tazzy is back in the swing of things. My co-reporter, Teddy has been doing very well in covering Den City events and life. I am adding to his valiant efforts by giving you, the readers and listeners a better view at all the modern marvels Den City has to offer. This section of reporting will be called Tech-Beat.

For our very first Tech-Beat, I've taken a tour of Whisper Paws Hospital in Den City and was given a thorough display on what our community hospital can do. The hospital offers everyone choices in both magical and non-magical treatments in case anyone reacts to healing magic. Sure healing magic is like, totally awesome and all. A few words, wiggled fingers and maybe a prayer or two and you're all healed like nothing happened. However Dr. Fen Stridar has been warning Den City residents that the hospital is starting to see a rise in allergies to magic from over use of healing spells. Never fear though, the non-magic health care is top notch.

All patient files are now on computers connected to Majik Net allowing all patients access to their data and face to face consulting with their doctors or healers. All lab reports, printouts, x-ray films and exams results are now digitized, video recorded and taped to assist the entire medical team in treating their patients and getting quick feedback from any outside specialists.

Whipser Paws Hospital has the most advanced diagnostic laboratory in Rhydin and is only second to the laboratory of River Run Hospital in Rhydin City. Portable x-ray units that are no bigger than a brief case can be taken to any patient?s rooms removing the need to wheel patients about the hospital. Virtual Surgical Assistant (VSA for short) is now worn by most Lupinossai surgeons as a small 3D Heads Up Display (HUD) feeding data directly to a set of glasses worn. VSA offers instant vital readings, anatomy overlays allowing the surgeon to adapt on the fly to all abnormalities and various races. They even have a sensor pill, invented by a local veterinarian, DVM Sean Walley of A.R.K. Veterinary Clinic and Mobil Vet Services. Simply swallow the pill and in seconds they have read outs on all of your functions. Kiss cold stethoscopes good bye and breath in relief as various thermometers are becoming a tool of the past.

What really makes this hospital shine is the vast arsenal of medical supplies and medicine to assist any patient. Vaccines, vitamins, supportive medication and implants for diabetes or chronic diseases are available at very low pricing or easy payment plans. One treatment that stands above all others at Whisper Paws is their cancer treatment program. Cancer used to be the kiss of death to many races when it was diagnosed. Not anymore! Thanks to a modification to the must have Lupanecrosis vaccination, cancer is now fully curable!

Back in the early days of Den City we had an outbreak of Lupanecrosis after a strain was bought on the black markets in Lupinoss itself. Many passed away rapidly in Den City, young, old and even adults. Thanks to a radical use of Nanites (very tiny, tiny, can't even see them robots) the deadly virus can be removed and inoculated against. It was this same vaccine that our Den City Governor, Ammy Spiritor, modified to fight cancer after three remissions of her own lung cancer had failed. With this gift of life given to many who thought they were looking at their final days, cancer is removed, switched off even and neutralized. In fact, a young dwarf named Ridly Hammer was cured of brain cancer as several tumors were reduced and broken up by the nanite treatment, making him the 150th cancer patient treated in the last 2 years.

Whisper Paws is about more than just treating wounded or ill patients. They go a step or two beyond sending out qualified nurses to every neighborhood in Den City to check up on everyone. They offer low income and even free community healthcare that isn't skimpy or lightweight compared to regular health treatment options. Portable diagnoses units have been in the works deep within Whisper Paws research laboratory to allow the sensor pill to be taken out and into the public.

Now you may be wondering what is powering this hospital? Sure we're seeing electricity being wired into almost every place in Den City running off magical batteries, another Tech-Beat story for later, but the hospital was running before that. Turn out that sunk deep below the ground, under Whisper Paws is a complex, compact fusion reactor installed in the early days of Den City by, you guessed it, Ammy Spiritor when the hospital was rebuilt after former exile, Mogriil Wolf, blew up the hospital.

I hope you've found this Tech-Beat fascinating and educational. Our next Tech-Beat will look at the marvels of our new power supplies for Den City! Till then, keep reading and listening to the Den Howler!

Den City Winter Charity Games

It is the season to be joyful, spending lots of family time and giving, but not everyone has the luxury of getting nice things or getting to spend time with friends or even just other nice people on the holidays. There are those who have harder lives and never catch a break. This year the Den is doing a seasonal charity event to help the less fortunate this year to ensure them happy holidays, to which ever they celebrate.

The event coordinators of Den City have been quite busy in organizing with the charity that are not only within Den City itself, but that relate to other parts of Rhy'Din. While we are happy to help care for our own we are also enthusiastic in helping others outside the den to have a happy season.

The Den City Winter Charity Games last a month long. During this time anyone can join in on local community game events that have been set up to support the charity. There will be games varying from all kinds such as 100 meter dashes, food eating contests, lap races on foot, fencing contests, team-based games like football or Volleyball and many other various activities. Most of these events will take place in the Den Cit'ys very own Myrlene Youth park, although there will be other spots located in various spots throughout the city. Do not worry, there will be plenty of staff who have booklets on navigating your way around to the places you want to go.

Another great part about this event is anyone can join. Young or old, big or small, you can find a place to take part in the community and have fun. Not only that, but to participate in any of these events is completely free! Also, whether you win or simply just participate and try your hardest and have fun, people will be awarded neat items like cool outfits, gadgets, toys and other delightful things.

There will also be lots of gift shops open and stores helping support these charities. A portion of the money you spend will be shared with the charities to help support them to keep going and help give to those in need. If you can even spare change, no matter how small the amount is, it would help.

So, if you are out and about and want some fun and also help make others have a happy winter holiday, then get out there and have some fun at the Den City's Winter Charity Games!

The Lupinossai Learning Center:

The LLC (Lupinossai Learning Center) has been doing well over the years educating young and old. No matter the age, knowledge is always important and this is the place takes any who are willing to expand on their current knowledge. While many know this, we were excited to mention a few new additions were added to the learning center.

First addition is a very in-depth class on Enlightenment Class, or at least that is what the class is being named after the teacher. This addition to the learning center is taught by a teacher named Ferunoth, an ancient black dragon who has sought out to teach those wishing to learn things along the lines of philosophy, experiences of life, understanding why things happen and more! It may sound interesting for some, although I am sure others are not interested. Do not worry as it is no mandatory class to visit. To find out more about it, visit the LLC for questions.

The center has also decided to work with teaching everyone in the Den about the new technologies that surround us today, including safety measures. There will be another additional subject added into the system. The Technology class will cover all areas of technology that it can. Mostly daily items you would encounter.

There will also be an Advanced Technology class for those interested in learning even more in the advanced world. Like learning how to work with computers, cell phones, how they work, how to fix them, down to the last micro-chip and kilobyte you could imagine. Those who seek to learn the curve of technology in all aspects will surely love this class.

Strange News:

There have been some insane things that have happened lately, some even a month or two ago. Tazzy and I set out to find these rumors if they were to be true and what we found was beyond our imagination. For now we got two very strange little stories for you as we spent lots of time just trying to even find out if they were real as well as unbelievable.

First off, there was reports not only from a very confused Den Fang officer, but from multiple people in the public that our two governors, Mirius and Ammy along with their mate Fleety, had gone running through the Den City in just their fur many weeks ago. We did not put this in the newspaper at first as we did not want to spread lies about anyone in case it was an insane rumor. Eventually Mirius Pojoris confessed that they did in fact run through the city nude, but claim their mate Fleety got them high on lots of peanuts. It is safe to say we know who the culprit is at least!

There was also word of a magical fish that granted a single wish to anyone in the large open water that the Den city is connected to. It took us a while to figure this out, but surely and truthfully there was a wish granting fish out there. Tazzy and I were talking to all kinds of fishermen as well as going on fishing trips with them to catch this elusive fish. Only one of us had luck and it was Tazzy. They caught the magical wishing fish and she got her holiday present early this year! Unfortunately, the fish cannot be permanently caught. It only stays around for a limited amount of time and disappears. The fish also claims it is not related to the entity known as Aramus. Also, it was a talking fish. Isn't that unbelievable?

Speaking of Aramus and the world of strangeness, apparently the entire den has been covered up in Christmas lights and decorations. While many Lupinossai don't precisely practice Christmas itself, so far no one has complained about the decorations. In fact, seeing beautiful lights decorating the edge of homes, trees in the park, street lights and other areas of the Den has put a smile on many faces. Some say there are even cheerful, talking snowmen roaming around in the Den at random! Even more interesting is Aramus was even generous enough that to somehow make these lights not effect any with sensitive eyes. We aren't sure how he did it, but let's be glad he was thoughtful!

Den Howler Business Spotlight:
It's a busy time for many during the season and the children are no doubt filling the air with excited words of new toys and items they see that they might want. Good news for you!

In the Foxingale Plaza, there is a toy store named Anida'an's Toys N' Fun that offers all kinds of stuffed toys, windup toys, games and other fun items of all ages. So, if you are looking for a good place to get your youngsters friendly little family games or toys, then stop by Anida'an's Toys N' Fun!

A hum and whine comes over every soul gem viewer and Aether Ware adepted device using Magik Net.

*"Testing, 1, 2, 3. Okay Bill we have audio check!.

Ahem. Hello to all our listeners and viewers. If you are watching our broadcast, do not adjust your devices. We are not set up yet for video feed on Magik Net but our Audio is coming through strong.

I am Tazzy, one of Air Paws 104.1's news reporters. We are branching out into more media besides paper to get you the news you want to know. If you still want a Den Howler newspaper, fear not! We are still printing a select number of them to help keep Den City eco friendly and not waste any trees!

Moving on for the first broadcast of the Den Voice, yes, we are keeping confusion down. Den Voice is our radio broadcast, Den Howler is our newspaper. Both are still open for business!

Our news report today so far is light as the snow flakes blowing out there, but not as cold. To all you Desii Lupes out there, fret not from the cold! Den City has warming crystal hubs set up at every street corner to keep your desert blood cozy under all those layers of clothes. Snow is piling up in our streets, but we have news that Commissioner Orion Wolf has DFLEA officers as well as volunteer groups from our Fire Department and Farming Guilds out shoveling roads enough to allow safe travel and emergency access.

We do have reports of random snow ball fights occuring up and down Market Lane as well as over by Whisper Paw Street. Several staff at the hospital have asked us to remind all participants to please check your snowballs for rocks and debris before throwing them. They are getting adults and children coming in with bumps, bruises and minor cuts. It's all fun and games till someone runs home crying.

Den stores are reporting a healthy economy during this year's end celebrations. Den City has reported showing a net profit of 500,000 Silver Crown, a first in many years. Big round of applause to Governor Mirius Spiritor for running the Den City so well. Speaking of Governors, we have rumors and reports that Governor Ammy Spiritor will be returning to office after a year long hiatus due to health issues during her families ill fated vacation. Will she run the Den better than Governor Mirius?

The Den City conversion to technology has met with praise and belly aches. Many Lupinossai are jumping onto the band wagon to take part in making their lives a bit easier. Some though just don't like technology period and have proclaimed that back in their days they had to walk up hill, in the snow, the rain and the wars to just say hello to a friend. You just can't change some people.

My final report for the day comes from sightings of bizzar crystals being used everywhere in the city. Few know where they are coming from, but some suspect it's the work of a woman called Amar Su. Amar Su may appear like a wingless Airii to you all, but don't be fooled. She's actually a Sumese from a land called Moresh and her tribe evolved from Border Collies! Moving along, I found Amar Su and she told me in a brief meeting on the street that she is helping the city out with technology from her homeland known as Crystal Technology! We have her to thank for donating the Warming Crystals on each street corner.

Well I've used up my time today. Catch you all next time on Air Paws 104.1's Den Voice! Ciao!"*
