On the radios and other communicative devices from anywhere that would be listening there had been a few announcements as a heads up the past few days on not to miss out on a live feed of an interview of the new, if not temporary, den leader of the Den City. When that time came, to whoever was tuned into 104.1 Air Paws would be able to listen to the interview of the new leader.

As the Den Howler reporting program started on the radio a voice, maybe even sounding adorable, would be heard first. ?Hello, everyone! This is Teddy, a new reporter with the Den Howler. Today we?re going to be talking to the new person who has seemingly been put up as the new Den City leader out of the blue. Her name is Mirius Pojoris, Say hi to all the people listening, Mirius.?

The voice of Mirius would be heard in reply, ?Hello, everyone.?

Teddy would begin to speak after Mirius greeted, ?Mirius, I must ask exactly how did you become Den City leader all of the sudden? What made Ammy suddenly up and leave after being elected as leader so soon??

A soft sigh was heard from Mirius?s end, ?Honestly, Ammy needed a break. We?ve had enough crap going on in our family, problems with necromancers, crazy siblings and taking care of kids and all kinds of other things going on. We decided for her to go on a vacation with others in the family who have been having it rough, so here I am. Den City leader now.?

?That is interesting,? Teddy said with a pondering hint in his tone, ?so how will the people know that you?ll be a great leader? The most people might know about you is that you have been Ammy?s mate and have also been in a relationship with Igneous Fi?igoo of Fangwood Academy. The part with Igneous might even have some people nervous given his reputation. What do you say to all that, Mirius, and do you think you could tell us about yourself so we know who is leading us??

?Well, I can?t tell you everything because I recently had an event where I lost a lot of my own memory, which I will not speak of right now. But... for what I can tell is I grew up in Den Spiritor, been through wars and ended up here. I have lead soldiers in battles and was even one of the more successful groups in Igneous? army in the last war between him and the Den. So, I believe I do have the leadership skills. I don?t take crap from people.? she chuckled softly. ?And people don?t have anything to worry about me being with Igneous. That old fart is more talk than he is bite anyways. Ammy would have my tail if I let him do something to this Den anyways and I assure you those two are not on good terms exactly either.?

?Very interesting. Hopefully, that will satisfy some curiosity for the people of the Den about who is in charge of their Den for the moment. Another important thing to bring up is what will you be doing for the Den? Will you be doing anything far different than what Ammy was planning or are you going to continue her plans??

There was a pause for a moment or two before Mirius would answer, ?Considering this all happened out of nowhere it will take me a bit of time to adjust, but I will likely do both. There are things Ammy wished to do to help improve the Den City and I will be looking in on things to be adding to hopefully. I?ll speak more on that later once I get things more settled and know what?s currently going on.

?Pleasing to hear, Mirius. People were excited to have Ammy elected again. I am sure they will be happy that you will want to continue with her ideas for the Den. She?s really done a lot for this place and has helped it come a long ways. Are you nervous or feeling any worry about being the Den leader? I am sure it is not an easy task to do with so much that goes on.?

?I guess I?m a little nervous. Not like this kinda crap happens every day, you know? But I might look into having someone assist me with all the work, but all that really goes back on needing to settle in first and see what?s going on.?

?How about once you?re feeling up for talking more on all those important matters in another interview sometime once you?re settled in? I am more than sure everyone would like to know what is in store for the place they call home.?

?Sure why not.?

?Is there anything you?d like to say freely to everyone that is currently listening, Mirius??

?Yeah. Just want everyone to know I?ll be doing my best. I will be looking into helping fix the criminal issues, helping bring more technology to the den and everything that Ammy wanted to do. I know something like this wasn?t somethin? people were expectin?. I didn?t see it coming either really, but I?ve learned in life to go with the moment. On top of that, while Ammy?s on her vacation I don?t want any of you reporters or anyone trying to find her, harassing her and questioning her or any family and friends or I?ll kick your butts or just have Igneous set you on fire. And no, I?m not kidding. I really will.?

An awkward moment of silence happened after the words from Mirius were said over the microphone, but Teddy would try and continue and shake off the moment, ?Okay? think we might be done here for today. It was a pleasure interviewing with you, Mirius. I do give you my congratulations for becoming the new Den City leader. I hope this interview has given everyone some information about their new leader for now. This has been Teddy of the Den Howler interviewing Mirius Pojoris, our new Den City leader. Signing off!?

The live feed of the interview ends and the radio station would begin to continue through it's daily schedule afterwards.

It was that time again on 104.1 Air Paws, a live interview was being transmitted on the local radio station. It was the second interview for Mirius Pojoris that may have had local residents in the Den eager to hear about what their new leader would be doing.

?Hello, everyone!? the cheerful voice from Teddy would be heard over the microphone, ?This is Teddy here with another interview with Mirius Pojoris, our Den leader. It is good to see you again, Mirius. How have you been doing and how is den leadership coming along for you??

?It is coming along well and I am doing fine. Just lots of paper work and things to do, but I?ve gotten some helpers to speed things up so I can get to the more important things going on,? Mirius replied.

?Help is always good! I know Miss Tazzy was overwhelmed with work for the Den Howler. Paperwork isn?t always an easy job. But enough of that, let?s get down to business. Last time we talked about yourself some and things you might do for the Den, although the ideas were vague and not elaborate. One of he things you said was reducing crime. There has been a long history of that here in the Den. How will you go about solving this issue?? he asked inquisitively.

Mirius voice was sounding uneasy at first though her words would become more firm throughout her statement. ?Well, that is something I need to talk about with Frost mostly, but I do have plans. One thing I will be doing is helping get new gear and equipment for our local authorities in DFLEA. They?ll be getting new equipment such as new and better armor, better weapons like tasers and guns, better communication devices and more. Ever since I?ve come to the Den the first time I?ve always found them to be lacking in so many areas and I am going to help bring them up to date. I will also be looking into getting them a better training program so that they will have the experience they need to take down criminals and adapt to ever changing situations.?

?That sounds good. I bet DFLEA will be happy to be backed up in getting improved. They have had it hard for a long time. That leads me to my next question nfor you, Mirius. Bringing new equipment into the Den. You said you were going to help modernize the Den itself. How will all that work out? Have you taken into consideration about the people who like to live the simple life and not be around electronics??

?Yes, I have thought about it all over the days. The process will be a gradual one. I will be finding ways to slowly bring in new technology into the Den and ways to provide power to all the homes in the Den for the new items. We will see at first if everyone in the Den is enjoying it, if they do we will keep it all. No one will be forced to have any fancy stuff if they don?t want to. If you prefer a candle over a light bulb, knock yourself out. I?ll see about finding a way for individuals to help have their homes updated too if they like, but that will be more of a personal request they will be able to make. Again, won?t be forcing this on anyone.?

?Wonderful! I am sure people will love the idea, mirius. I know there are already people in the Den who have cell phones and computers and much more, it is just most of these things are inconvenient to acquire. What about the outlying areas where people are still within Den territory? Will they be receiving any of these benefits??

?They will, yes. They will also be able to request help for being able to get any power or any necessary utilities to their place if needed. The more we figure it all out and get it more planned out, more announcements will be made on how to make request and what will be coming to the Den.?

?Very exciting, Mirius. Another topic to cover is what about the poor areas in the Den? The orphans and people who are just out of luck in life? It is still a problem in the Den. Is there anything you will do for them??

?I assure you everything will be taken care of. It is something that will need careful planning over time and I will do something to help the orphans find good homes. And will find ways to help the less fortunate. I actually have an adopted daughter from the orphanage here in the Den. Her name is Rawsha and I don?t have one regret having ever taken her in. She?s the best thing I could have ever asked for and I?m so glad I adopted her. She was one of the many children who lost their parents in the attack from Tahkasis years ago. But I will also say if anyone is looking to have a kid there?s a lot of sweet kids there that would love a home and to be adopted. Most of them just want someone to hug them when they need the hugs and to be tucked in every night. So, if anyone is ever wanting a kid, please consider adopting one here in the Den.?

?That is sweet and heart warming, Mirius. It is always s good to know we have another Den leader who is so welcoming with open arms to others, especially the children. Can you give any ideas, even some basic ones, in how to help the less fortunate and poor areas of the den??

?I can?t say anything for certain right now, but I will definitely be having the run down areas of the Den fixed free of charge. It might take some time to do, but no one deserves to live in the gutter. Everyone here should have a nice home. Many here are hard working and still can?t make ends meet. My parents are like that and some times it kills me to see them work so hard for so little.?

?It is good that you are thinking for the well being of everyone living in the Den and I hope everyone listening will be excited for upcoming changes of the Den becoming a better place. Bu I do fear we are out of time. My time allowed to interview is coming to an end. It was a pleasure again for you to take your time and tell us what you?re thinking and planning, Mirius.?

?You?re welcome. When more things come up I?ll be making more announcements to help keep everyone updated.?

?Sounds like a plan! This has been another interview with Teddy and Mirius Pojoris, our Den leader. I hope everyone has enjoyed listening to this session of Den Howler Interviews. I wish a good day for everyone and signing off now.?

The transmission would end and the scheduled programming for the day on 104.1 Air Paws would resume afterwards.
