"I want to be like you Grandfather...I want to carry proudly the shieldar name" said a young pup sitting beside a bigger Lupinossai, dressed in a beautiful steel armor. The older Lupe looked at the little pup and smiled
"First you must train hard, study and grow" He said to the little pup, petting his head lovingly with his gloved hand while both were sitting in a green hill looking at the Shieldar den in Sliinkaa.
"But I'm brave Grandfather" said the little pup trying to convince his grandfather. He was a brave little pup, that was true. But he was small, and he has so much to learn in this world...
"I know Octavius" said the Lupe "But a Knight must be wise, polite and loyal to his beliefs." he said sitting the little pup on his armored lap.
The pup looked at his Grandfather with admiration, beside his father, Octavius's Hero was his Grandfather, a very respected Fang Knight of Shieldar, the pup listened to his Grandfather with attention and nodded to his words.
"I want to be like you Grandfather..." he said hugging his Father's father. Frostad smiled at the little pup and hugged him back. In his eyes he could see so much strenght and will on him. The pup had the spirit of a Knight.
"And I want you to be better than me and your father, I want to hear the legend of Octavius Shieldar, Fang Knight of Shieldar" he said smiling at the little Lupinossai. Little Octavius giggled and nodded.
"Okay Grandfather" he said looking at the den while the dying sun was giving it's last rays of light.
"Come on brave Knight, we should return home. You mother must be worried" he said at his grandson, and so Frostad held the little pup and returned home...
The days continued as normal for the young Lupinossai, growing with the teachings of his Father, a young Octavius was beside his father, entering in the Temple of Lupis.
"Kneel before Lupis my son..." said Arlo Shieldar, Octavius's father, while kneeling infront of the statue of the God.
The young Lupe followed his father and kneeled in front of Lupis, he wanted to prove his bravery to Lupis, to prove that Octavius was worthy of being a Knight and to prove that he was able to sacrifice his life for the good of his race.
"For Lupinoss!" Shouted an armored Lupinossai Holding a sword and a shield. The rain was falling in a land stained with death and blood. Octavius was under his battle armor, he looked to his side and saw his Grandfather looking at the horizon towards the enemy lines.
The Young Shieldar saw his Grandfather standing proud with his brothers, and so did Octavius, leaving his fears behind. He stood proudly. Humans were at the other side of the battlefield, threatening the safety of many Lupinossai. Octavius wasn't going to allow it.
Many lives were at risk, Octavius wasn't going to let innocent Lupinossai die.
"To arms my brothers!" shouted the general "CHARGE!" and so the Fang Knights of many United Dens charged against the humans, Octavius began to run with his brothers in arms, Veteran Knights, Craftsmen, Town Guards and Farmers were fighting with him.
The battle raged for many hours, Octavius saw many of his brothers in arms fall before the Humara war machine, swallowing his tears he avenged his fallen brothers fighting with bravery, after the clashing sound of metal and after the battle was won by the Lupes. Octavius left his time as a child, and he became an adult, a proud Knight of the Shieldar Family.
He returned, tired but victorious. Back at the Iron Academy in the Den, many Squires that fought that day were ready to be named Knights. Octavius Kneeled before his Grandfather and while many other Shieldar and Citizens looked.
"Octavius Shieldar, by your bravery in battle, and your devotion to the safety and protection of all Lupes. I proudly give you the Star of Valor" Many Lupes applauded the bravery of the young Lupinossai. Octavius heared the unsheating of his Grandfather sword.
"As Patriarch of the Shieldar Family, and for the devotion you have shown to us, your people in the battle against the Humara threat. It is my honour, to name you Fang Knight of Shieldar" he said touching his shoulders with his silver sword.
"By the title you have given to me. I will proudly bear the Shieldar name and I gladly accept this title. May Lupis be a witness, that I will not forfeit my duty as guardian of the Lupinoss" His Grandfather smiled and said.
"Now rise...Octavius Shieldar the 1st, Knight of Shieldar" He stood up and looked at the crowd below. He knew his duty, to serve and protect those who are in need, he saw children looking at him and mother holding their pups. Octavius didn't needed second thoughts, he was going to devote his life to protect those souls. To prevent innocent children from being orphans, to prevent fathers burying their sons, and to prevent the dessesperate cries of mothers...
