"Citizens of Den City, Fang Wood Academy and any listening on the radio waves of Rhydin, I am Ammy Spiritor. Presiding Senior Governor of the Den City, Diplomat of Fang Wood Academy. I am making a public announcement on our stance with the reoccurring out cry for Mage Registration within the city of Rhydin.
Our cities exist outside of the Rhydin city jurisdiction. Their laws stop at their city walls. You will not be forced into this registration if it passes, for we as a nation of mages and non-mages have already established a public registration for all. Every citizen is registered within our territories. Every ability mundane or magical cataloged. We view every citizen special and unique. We recognize that all citizens magical or mundane can cause violence no matter the scale.
I urge all of our citizens to avoid Rhydin at this time until political unrest has ended and the outcome of this movement is known. Business with Rhydin city will continue unless threats are viewed. At which point, boycotts and embargoes will commence. We are taking a neutral stance and I mark our territory a safe haven. If strangers seek shelter from mobs after their lives, we will take them in and send them to their homes if it is safe to do so. If not, we will give them enduring shelter.
However, we will not sit idly by if Rhydin residents move upon our territory with their violence and malevolence. Any one caught trying to harm mages in our territories will be captured and handed directly to the Watch of Rhydin. We will not brook vigilantes. Anyone caught killing a mage in our territory be it our citizens or a stranger will be put to death on the spot. Murder is paid for in kind. All DFLEA and military forces within Den City and Fang Wood Academy have been informed and doubled on our borders. We will enforce our neutrality.
