Garnet Prismpaw: -Garnet had been busy working in the the workshop...the forges had been burning hot for hours as she worked she finally needed a break from the heat, she set down the peice of metal she had been working-
Harold Ramis: But the shop was empty, aside from her and her traditional companions. Harold had disappeared again, but he had not returned during the course of the day. Of course, somewhere out there, he would be sleeping, for the night is a busy time for one stricken with the curse of the werewolf. A curse he was still denying, despite the mounting evidence against his assumption.
Garnet Prismpaw: -she set the metal to cool, Nebula was in the house somewhere, he never liked the heat when Garnet had worked but he was ever watchful of her though their bond, the lion was laying lazily somewhere, Garnet would open a side door stepping out the workshop, she shut the door and decided to take a small walk, ever since the night she got shot she had been alert when she was in the den, she always had spells on her mind, she let the cool night air move through her fur...wearing the grey shirt. the leather apron and her workbelt the jacket left behind at the house-
Harold Ramis: After some venturing, she would find Harold hunkering down in a smelly alley, awake and wide-eyed and literally shaking with both the cold and fear. His clothes, the pajamas he came to Rhy'Din in, were sopping wet and exceptionally smelly, like he had been rolling through the mud in them all night.
Garnet Prismpaw: -as she comes around the corner the first thing that hit her was the smell, she blinked as she saw him laying there- "Harold?...ye must be freezing" -she would cast a couple small spells one a small prestidigitation to clean him up a bit, then another to help warm him up some-
Harold Ramis: Harold looks up like a scared dog and immediately runs to her. "Garnet! I... I... I woke up out here!" He clings onto her leg, making himself all messy again as he crawls through the filth and muck again.
Garnet Prismpaw: -she smelled like the forge fire and metals she had been working with- "come on now...lets get ye back to the house.." -she blinks as she pulls him up so he can walk with her- "now Harold...your alright but as i keep telling ye...yer going to go through changes.."
Harold Ramis: "I... It can't be..." He stays close to her. She was the only staple he had to reality, no matter how alien she might be. "I can't be..."
Garnet Prismpaw: "ye were bit..by a werewolf.....Harold.." -she walked with him back toward the house then thought a moment and they turned down another street, she led him down to the public baths...they were empty by this time of night- "i saw it with me own eyes..."
Harold Ramis: He follows her, in absolute shock. "No... no..."
Garnet Prismpaw: -she would stay near him and nods, she looked around and would gather a couple clean towels and a bathrobe from a cabinet near the baths and would motion for him to get into the warm water of the pool- "go ahead clean up..she set the towels at the side of the bath and handed him a bar of soap and shampoo... the robe was left there for him to..."i'll be just over there" -she motioned to a bench nearby-
Harold Ramis: "In that?"
Garnet Prismpaw: "the water is warm...and clean and i dont think anyones going to be coming aorund..." -she nodded-
Harold Ramis: "But... you're right there, and I don't have swim trunks."
Garnet Prismpaw: -she laughs- "i wont peak.." -she turned to walk toward the bench and would sit down facing the other way, she was in earshot of him if he wanted to talk-
Harold Ramis: "Um... but... oh, whatever." He quickly strips out of his pjs and gets into the water. "Oh! Oh, right there..." He slowly settles down into the water as he gets used to the temperature.
Garnet Prismpaw: -she was listening to him but staring off, she was trying to figure out what she could do for him. to help him with the changes...she had never been friends with a any sort of lycanthrope-
Harold Ramis: As he relaxes in the water, Harold speaks to Garnet. "Garnie? If I really am... what you say I am... what's going to happen?"
Garnet Prismpaw: -she heard his nickname for her, that was a new one, she chuckled softly, then she exhaled a soft breath- "Well...werewolves..shift into the large wolf..man..creatures...some can control the urges they have...others are true monsters....i hope ye can learn to control it"
Harold Ramis: "I'm a monster..."
Garnet Prismpaw: "i dont think so.."
Harold Ramis: "I am... Oh, God, Garnet, help me," he says covering his head and whimpering.
Garnet Prismpaw: -she had her back to him..she was still cooling down from the day she had in the forges, she glanced over at him for a few seconds- "ye are alright Harold....just get cleaned up...and try to relax" -with him sidetracked she would make a motion to his dirty clothes and they would dissappear, she would get them back to him clean later on...she then turned her back to him again, she had no intentions of seeing more than she should-
Harold Ramis: "I'm not alright! I'm going to turn into a f*cking wolf when that moon rises, aren't I? Aren't I?!" It was fairly obvious he was angry, though at whom, it can't be sure.
Garnet Prismpaw: "i...im sorry...i should have gotten to ye faster...then that beast would nae have gotten to bite ye" -she looked down hearing the anger in his voice as she stayed on the bench-
Harold Ramis: Harold breaks down in tears. "I'm so sorry. But I have the most horrible thoughts, the most vivid dreams. I wake up where I'm not supposed to. I look at everything like a f*cking buffet..."
Garnet Prismpaw: -she stands up and moved back over to the edge of the pool, she kneeled down and put a paw on his shoulder- "...try to look at it another way...ye are becoming something powerful...something that if the person can master it can do good in the world"
Harold Ramis: "But I won't! I've seen all the movies, I know all the stories, Garnet! I'm going to kill people! And I won't stop until somebody kills me!"
Garnet Prismpaw: -she sits down on the edge of the pool and thinks a moment- "now i dun know what...movies..have told ye...but i know things from books...i can try to help you....and i won't let anyone harm ye"
Harold Ramis: "You need to kill me, Garnet," he says desperately as the truth comes to him.
Garnet Prismpaw: -she frowns- "no Harold ...i won't..unless i have been forced to..i have never hurt another.." -she looked at him- "ye need to look at the good parts of this." -her mind was working to try to find something for him to look forward to-
Harold Ramis: "What good? I'm a killer..."
Garnet Prismpaw: "you could be a guard..with some training and...control of your urges" -she was thinking now- "i know that the lupinossai...the den here...and a small den city called FangWood...both need better guards and officers"
Harold Ramis: "Like hell. More like an executioner, and a murderer."
Garnet Prismpaw: -she looked at him- "go ahead and get cleaned up..we can get back to the house..get ya warmed up" -she knew he was upset, but she would help him get through this if she could-
Harold Ramis: "No... I won't go back there. I... want to be alone." In other words, the wilds are calling.
Garnet Prismpaw: -she would watch him thinking about what he said, she would look down, she didnt usually use spells on other people or creatures but she was tempted-
Harold Ramis: "I want to be alone... I want to... feed..." Oh God...
Garnet Prismpaw: -she would stand and watch him- "Well know if ye are in need of a place to stay...my house be safe..." -she looked down a moment, those words would be set with a bit of a suggestion spell with them, hoping he would follow her, either on his own of by the spells power she headed off toward the street-
Harold Ramis: Harold looks over and watches her. And that is when he notices the clothes are gone. "Hey, wait! Where are my clothes?!"
Garnet Prismpaw: -lightening would flash without a sound there near the pool and his clothes would appear, clean and dried folded neatly, along side the bathrobe and towels...she lowered her paw after a moment and kept walking-
Harold Ramis: He looks at the clothes and towel, and then, forsaking modesty, climbs out and dries off quickly, throwing on the robe and picking up his clothes. "M-Maybe I can stay one more night."
Harold Ramis: He follows her quickly. He does seem to be faster these days.
Garnet Prismpaw: -she slowed a little letting him catch up with her as she was walking down the street- "alright..then come on..."
Harold Ramis: "Th-Thank you for looking after me these past couple of weeks. I really appreciate it," he says as he trots beside her.
Garnet Prismpaw: -she nods- "yer welcome...Harold....ye are not to bad to have around.." -she would move to the house with him and unlock the front door- "oh..ye'll find the kitchens beter stocked than it has been...some things ye should like in the icebox" -she motioned him to come inside as she stepped into the living room area the fireplace came to a warm fire inside, she smiled some and moved over to her large wooden framed oversized chair with the big very well used cushions and sat down watching the fire as she warmed her paws-
Harold Ramis: "Um... thanks." He moves into the kitchen and looked in the ice bin. He was very hungry. he was always hungry.
Garnet Prismpaw: -he would find, beef, rabbit and goat meat in all sorts of cuts, amoung other foods, she just relaxes as she thought about his condition-
Harold Ramis: As Harold looks over the assorted meats, something comes over him. Blood. Fresh blood. Breathing heavily, Harold takes the biggest steak in there and munches on it raw, causing a bloody mess of his clothes and of the kitchen.
Garnet Prismpaw: -eh so much for the kitchen being clean, but for the moment Harolds clothes wouldn't stain...it might have seemed strange but she had thought about that for now...his clothes repealed any blood or liquid-
Harold Ramis: Heavy pants and grunts could be heard as he tore into and ate every piece of meat at his disposal.
Garnet Prismpaw: -she heard him eating and would look over toward the kitchen door, she stays seated on her comfortable chair-
Harold Ramis: The sounds in the kitchen soon go quiet, and Harold comes crawling out, covered in blood (especially around the mouth) that causes him to accidentally get blood onto the floors and a little bit of carpet.
Garnet Prismpaw: -she saw the blood but she was starting to expect that helping him would cause the house to get a bit messy anyway- "i hope the meat was good enough for ye"
Harold Ramis: "Full... Happy... Thank you," he says as he plops down at her feet after giving her an exceptionally wild look. Shortly afterward, though, he buries his face into the floor and cries heavily. "Oh God..."
Garnet Prismpaw: -she watches him, taking note of the look- "yer welcome Harold" -she watches him, she truely felt bad for him.-
Harold Ramis: "No... No... Please help me, Garnet, please..."
Garnet Prismpaw: -she watches him, she had no idea what she could do- "Harold..calm yourself...breath deep...think of where you are right now"
Harold Ramis: Harold sucks in breaths quakingly, trying to calm himself down.
Garnet Prismpaw: -she slid down onto the floor to sit next to him and she put her paws on his shoulders- "look at me..copy me" -she would take deep calm breaths. hoping he would copy and be able to calm down-
Harold Ramis: Harold looks at her and tried to copy his guardian. But all he can think about as he's doing it is how delicious she would be. Kill her. Kill her. Kill her. The command becomes stronger and stronger until eventually, with a savage snarl, he throws himself on her, teeth flashing and snapping at her throat.
Garnet Prismpaw: -she screamed out as she was pinned between the big wooden chair, she tried to control the fear that lumped up in her throat- "Harold!..please no! " -she held her paws at his shoulders, keeping him far enought back for the moment so he cant bite-
Harold Ramis: He can't hear her, and the werewolf continues to try to snap at her.
Garnet Prismpaw: "please calm down!" -she tried to speak calmly, but the fear lumped up in her throat..she looked him in the eyes and saw he was gone that the werewolf was taking over for the moment, she kept holding him back- "Harold listen to me!"
Harold Ramis: The words seemed to get through, as Harold pants and stares at her. At least the snapping has stopped.
Garnet Prismpaw: "Harold come back...your a good person...not this...no..not this creature" -she started talking to him as if he was the normal human, she kept her paws on his shoulders, in her mind she was preparing a spell..hoping she wouldnt have to use it-
Harold Ramis: The human comes back, and he cries again, leaning into her chest as he does. "Oh, Garnet... I'm so sorry. I couldn't help it."
Garnet Prismpaw: "shhh...it be alright" -she let him rest there. her paws resting there near his shoulders, she was trembling but trying not to show fear- "it wasnt you...you couldnt help it"
Harold Ramis: "I... I can't stay here. I won't hurt you, Garnet."
Garnet Prismpaw: -she sat up a bit- "please stay here...i can help...i can keep you safe.." -she was lying but he was her friend...she brought him into the den..and was letting him stay at her home-
Harold Ramis: "No, you can't. You can't control the monster. I'm not going to risk killing you. I must run, and pray that... I don't kill anything..."
Garnet Prismpaw: -she looked at him as she lowered her paws- "well i can't keep..you here against yer will...but you are welcome here.."
Harold Ramis: Harold looks up at her with the first smile she will probably ever see from him. "Before I go, I... I would like to kiss you. Just once."
Garnet Prismpaw: -she tilted her head and looked at him- "a kiss?...why?"
Harold Ramis: "Call it good luck. It may the last I'll ever have."
Garnet Prismpaw: -she nodded softly, her mind going to Vuu for a moment she just smiles a little- "just once...and for good luck..between friends.." -she would nod and let him-
Harold Ramis: The kiss he and Garnet share is long, but there with no passion as he didn't feel for her that way. After a few seconds, he pulls away and looks at her. "Thanks. For everything." He smiles one more time and leaves the living room, then house in just the bloodied bathrobe. Harold would make his way out of the Den and into the wilderness of the Glen, where he looks up at the half moon and cries to it, now knowing what it truly was to be alone.
Garnet Prismpaw: -she would watch him go and go back to looking at the fire as she sat there on the floor infront of her chair-
Harold Ramis: But the shop was empty, aside from her and her traditional companions. Harold had disappeared again, but he had not returned during the course of the day.
