Stars End Bar: Roughly 10 minutes before the attacks.
Ammy Spiritor: Ammys paw steps were light, but measured. She approached the Star's End bar for a drink away from the usual boisterous clamour of the Inn. A slightly tattered red uniform in the style and cut of the State Alchemists of Crysalis adorned her. The color and cut a bit modified given she was considered a chimaera to that culture as well as having two automail legs. Stepping near the door, she paused just long enough for the door to hiss open. Ammy stepped in and gave the place a once over.
Aquilonius: It's a long moment of silence after she leaves, which he takes to himself to compose his own emotions. No use in letting the enemy see his own weaknesses, so best to get it under control while he's behind the veil. Finally, though, he appears, as suddenly and swiftly as though a curtain had been pulled aside, revealing him sitting on top of the end of the bar, furthest from the door, a man dressed in what are clearly reddish brown Jedi robes, hair of nearly the same shade hanging long enough to
Etherealdream: "There are certainly less local cretins to wade through... Perhaps that's the charm you see?" Anya's smile seemed ever present as of late; smug, content, aloof, and even a fair degree sensual. Feeling Victor's fingers stroke the bit of her hair she'd wound up in her black ribbon, the siren turned into his touch, her lips parting to drag a playful display of teeth against his knuckles. Despite her slim, fitted attire that clinched about her waist and it's slick, leather nature, Anya made not a sound as she walked.
Aquilonius: frame his face and partially hide his burnished-copper colored eyes as they stare down the distance at the man and his female companion.
Ammy Spiritor: Her glowing green eyes looked with some interest. Small but manageable crowd. She liked that. Ammy stepped for the bar, soft whisper of servos as she moved. Nearing some lights, her left paw may be noted as mechanical as well. She wore no weaponry save a light saber at her belt. Some may recognize her as one of the Lupinossai seen often in the city, though the small ridges of horns on her head and slight glowing fur may infer that she's not your usual Lupe. She took a bar stool and sat, scrolling through the holo menu with the ease of someone having used a lot of technology in her life.
Victor Kazon: Smirking as he led them toward the bar, the seraph gave a slight nod. "That I cannot argue. My patience with fools has been tried one too many times as of late." As they crossed the room, he fished a red cigarette from his pocket, although how exactly he lit it was not clearly visible. Smoke trailed from his lips as he added, "Still, after last night there are many less to deal with. I loved the look in your eyes when you pushed that button. I shall treasure it always." With his translators finally restored, he could speak without hesitation, but his words still carried the thick accent of his homeland. Ever since his <I>Nischa</I> had expressed such a preference for it, Victor had disabled the voice modulation suite completely.
Ammy Spiritor: A few taps of her clawed fingers and the menu vanished. A tumbler of Corellian brandy rose from a recessed panel on the counter. She took a long sip and watched the other patrons. She didn't know a single one of them, though the red brown Jedi robe was an easy spot.
Etherealdream: "I would push it again in a heartbeat... Those men were fools, just as you said. Their blood will not be missed... nor their bones." There was laughter hiding there in her words as she stroked along the fitted corset that gripped her svelte form. It was truly a masterpiece of leather and stitchery, gleaming and new as new could be. Turning her attention elsewhere, the siren found her eyes trickling across the bodies that'd found their way to the bar that night. Her lips tightened, clearly unimpressed.
Ammy Spiritor: Taking note of the Jedi, she gave a simple polite nod of greeting from one Force user to another. Another sip and she looked at the other end of the bar and wondered who the man and the woman were.
LordTravanix: ::He closed his eyes, smiling darkly - Explosions could be heard in the distance.::
Victor Kazon: "Indeed. And they look quite lovely on you." His hands followed her own, along the lines of the corset, paying special attention to the supports, which he'd helped carve with the work of a few precision lasers. Pulling up a barstool, he placed it right up against a second empty one before taking a seat. The explosions he heard brought a quirk to his brow, but were truly of little consequence as a single whispered rune brought a green crystal bottle flying toward his hand. "<I>Hiaz.</I>"
Ammy Spiritor: A slight flick of ears hearing the explosions. Hard to tell where they came from, but the fact that she didn't get Warriors Suite blaring on her cell phone meant the family was safe. Another sip of the brandy and her glowing eyes narrowed slightly seeing the smiling Travanix.
LordTravanix: ::He gently caressed the hair of lani.::
Eiellani Rose: :: She gave a soft, contented sigh. A sound only for his ears.::
Etherealdream: Though she very much appreciated her husband's practical use of his abilities as of late, especially when it came to their outtings and their evening drink, the explosions caught the siren's attention. Canting her head towards the door <I>just so,</I> she heard them all the clearer. Her gaze drifted across Travanix and his self satisfied smile before it trailed back to Victor and swallowed him up in their blue, blue shine. Her stare was clear, as was the question lingering within it and the slow, Etherealdream: sinister display of teeth she graced him with.
Ammy Spiritor: Her memories were not what they used to be, given she died a few months back and was revived, but some things only need some prompting. Travanix's profile came to her mind as well as the memory of someone else she had tried hard to forget and forgive. Brutin.
LordTravanix: ::In that same distance came screams, cries of others. More explosions, closer - coming from the Marketplace. It had begun. The dark chill surged through the air, as if dancing with delights!::
Victor Kazon: He simply shrugged, although a glance was spared toward Travanix, and a slight grin as he heard more and more carnage outside. "I take it your plans have begun, Travanix? Have you put the drones to good use?" He'd not monitored the devices himself since passing over the control key for those he'd mobilized. His focus had been elsewhere with the <I>skurs </I>who had tried to stage a pathetic little coup in Anya's venue.
LordTravanix: ::His eyes were still closed as he listened, as if waiting for something to happen.::
Ammy Spiritor: Hearing the screams, the Lupinossai slid one red sleeve back, and flipped a smooth metal panel up on her left forearm. A small panel lit up and she clicked a few lit buttons. The cell phone was still quiet. A few more buttons pressed and she closed her forearm seeming assured of something. Sliding her sleeve back down, she settled back into watching Travanix. Her mind was quickly indexing all the conflicts he and Lord Brutin had had during her employ under Brutin. Seems Travanix was still very active these days.
LordTravanix: ::He turned quickly on the barstool.:: Not only have I found them useful but I improved your design! ::With a flick of his hand, miniture holo projectors flung from one of his pockets, projecting the invasion from various points - they filled the bar area practically, bathing the room in a light blue aura.:: Rhy'din is *mine*! ::The holographic video displays that hung in the air showed chaos rampaging all over the planet, throughout the realms and even orbit.::
Etherealdream: Laughing softly, Anya found Travanix's excitement a wonderful contagion that filled her up to the brim. Leaning further into her seraph, the siren stroked along his jaw, nails lingering on the edge of his chin. Her voice lifted to Travanix despite the intimate, familiar posture she'd assumed with her husband. "Congratulations my Lord... And might I thank you for bringing out some of my husbands darker talents." Smiling as she spoke, she turned her lips against Victor's ear, mouthing at the lobe.
Victor Kazon: Victor's mana eye scanned the projection with speed and precision, and he gave an impressed nod. "Well done... hmm..." A tactical battlefield analysis emerged from his arm panel, and design schematics as well. "I see... and yes, those were not military grade drones. I've not produced any on this world due to the cost - they were, after all, just for surveillance and security in mining sites. I could, of course, mass produce something larger and more heavily armed if needed."
Ammy Spiritor: Glowing green eyes watched the carnage. A small smirk tugged her canine features as the Den seemed to be unscathed for now. Her right paw slipped to her hip where the cellphone was still not sure if the holos were accurate.
LordTravanix: Hardly my friend. ::He patted lani on the head gently as he turned to stand up, his arms folding behind him. His eyes scanning each display as he monitored the battlefield.:: Blitz attacks everyehwere at once...No one saw it coming...
Victor Kazon: His attention was diverted quickly, however, by Anya's affections. "This looks like fun, doesn't it..." A turn of his head slipped his ear from her lips, only to replace it with his mouth. A lungful of smoke was slowly let out before it turned to a deep kiss. His fingertips absently popped the cork from the absinthe bottle.
LordTravanix: I expect you two will have your forces on the ground soon? ::He arched a brow.::
Iokaste: A bolt hole opened as the Invasion began. In the chaos, none would notice a small group led by a blonde woman. The group was intent on grabbing a few people in the chaos. Was the perfect time to feed and gather their strength before moving in on the Dark Hunters and their squires. Two broke from the feeding frenzy and moved to the Bar.
Ammy Spiritor: It would seem she had a presidential seat to the takeover of Rhydin. Her and Fleets concerns had proven right. She only hoped her step son would keep his head and not mobilize the Den army for an attack. Though she herself, using her Force powers and affinity with psionics to shield her next thoughts. Thoughts of finding a group to take this slaver down. She forced another sip of her brandy, just observing for now.
Etherealdream: Welcoming that smoky kiss without the slightest hesitance, Anya hummed quietly once they'd parted, her lips musing together as she looked back towards Travanix with a downright dastardly sort of satisfaction. "If that is what my <I>vischa</I> so desires, I'm sure we will... though. We hardly need such forces to lay waste to those that stand in our way." Her fingers moved and began to unwind the dark, black slip of ribbon from around her hair and curl it in her hand. Setting the tail of it against her thumb, she slid it's silky fabric along Victor's collar bone, eyes lidded.
Victor Kazon: "I did make you a promise, after all..." Smiling, he sipped directly from the bottle and for a brief moment, closed his eyes at her touch. "I do, of course, intend to keep it." His fingertips crawled slowly, contentedly up her spine.
Celeth Vindra: A blinding flash of blue light exploded into the room, a simple diversionary tactic, but one Celeth had often found effective. The sorcerer appearing in the center of the flash was orbited by seven crystals, all projecting powerful shields around him. A single hand reached past the barrier as he scanned the room, quickly recognizing the target, having seen him in every detail from the eyes of his companion. "Die." Hundreds of razor-sharp icy spears flew from the outstretched hand, directly toward Travanix at the bar, and from the wide array it was obvious he cared little for collateral damage.
Ammy Spiritor: Well now, this was new. The flash had no affect on her, but the man wielding the magic and tech was easy to understand. A psionic pop may be heard as she vanished and appeared behind a table, taking cover, light saber in paw, but unactivated.
Iokaste: The pair strode through the main pneumatic doors just as the spears flew. There was a smirk as the woman watch, signaling the man with her to wait.
LordTravanix: ::His hand shot up, his eyes went blood red, glowing fiercly as the area around him came to a sudden stop around him and lani.::
Etherealdream: "<I>Убейте ту Собаку!</I>" Anyanka cried angrily, teeth bared as she sheilded her eyes from the flash of light and power. Despite her lack of magic, the siren didn't cower, in fact, she half stood in front of Victor, hands curled and contorted into angry little claws.
Victor Kazon: The seraph's head snapped suddenly toward the center of the flash, and while his flesh eye had momentarily lost sight, the cybernetic one identified the man immediately. "You..."
Etherealdream: <I>**ty</I>
LordTravanix: ::The shards dropped to the ground as his hand went from open palm to a finger, pointing towards the intruder. :: Kill him!
Celeth Vindra: Eyes narrowed, Celeth watched intently as the blades stopped in midair, but he'd already prepared a chain of spells, the next of which created a vortex void behind the man and the one he protected. His fingers traced the runes in the air with alarming speed.
Eiellani Rose: :: She was always impressed when the Lord showed little teasers of his power like that. She rose to her feet with all the swiftness of a cobra's strike::
Victor Kazon: Victor did not hesitate; a blast of energy fired directly at the blue man from his mana eye, then he was airborne, leaping toward him with his blade drawn.
Iokaste: As amusing as the show of power was, she was far from helpless or lacked. They both had more than a few centuries of battle experience under their belts. Still, she wanted a lay of the power players before moving.
Ammy Spiritor: She still observed knowing when she was out of her league for the moment.
LordTravanix: ::lani's training would keep her out of the way, his own training allowed him to move quickly, the Dark Side aiding his physical skills to leap away from the vortex - he was not going to go down like that - not tonight. Not now! The micro projectors were collected before they became damaged. Jumpping to gather them with the force, he rolled to the side. Metal scratching metal was heard as metalic talons enclosed around his flesh and blood fingers.::
Celeth Vindra: Just before the spell was complete, the blast hit his shields and threw Celeth roughly into the wall. Had he not been protected, it would have reduced him to a pile of ash. Shocked eyes turned toward the source. "...Kazon?"
Victor Kazon: The blade was already descending, aiming for one of the shielding orbs while his eye tracked and fired at another. "Yes, I know who you are... Celeth."
Eiellani Rose: :: Out of the was right where she intended to stay, snakestrike quick movements took her away from the void, and to the "edges" of the conflict.::
Celeth Vindra: "Stop!" A telekinetic wave of his hand turned the seraph's blade aside. "That man! He is a monster! Settle whatever debt you wish with me later, seraph... but KILL HIM! NOW! He has already started a war!"
Iokaste: There was a dark smile on the blonde's lips. Oh, she liked him already if that was true.
LordTravanix: Started a war? ::He laughed darkly:: I am rebuilding a world!
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy considered the man who had charged in blasting things. She could lend her aid to him, and help thwart Travanix, but his intentions were unknown to her. He may simply be after Travanix to take over his nicely seized prize. She'd seen that happen in the slaving trade quite a few times. Light saber still held relaxed in her paw, she gave a silent thanks to Master Pallin for the trainquility exercises during battles. Her left metal paw though, was slowly gouging out an array in the flooring and table.
Victor Kazon: "I know, Celeth. I helped him." Victor's grin was dark and sadistic, teeth honed to a razor's edge. "<I>Hiaz.</I>" The simple rune of 'here' pulled loose one of the orbiting crystals, and he crushed it in his hand while a laser blast shattered another.
Etherealdream: <I>"Столь красивый, моя любовь</I>..." Anyanka crooned in that queer, animal, underwater tone of hers as she watched Victor begin to move against the blue man. She didn't so much move away from him as move with him, standing to the side; circling, waiting, and above all else, watching. There was nothing but adoration and absolute lust in the siren's eyes as she watched her seraph move.
LordTravanix: If this fool is one of your problems, Victor, remove him! I am far to close to my goal to have wanna-be-heros get in my way!
Celeth Vindra: "...what?" Pulling himself up and glaring at them both, Celeth paused, at a complete loss. "How could you... you're a seraph! You're a guardian! What the hell has he done to you?" Taking a defensive stance, he spoke a quiet word in High Runic, causing the five remaining orbs to spin faster around him.
Iokaste: There was a rather false assumption that she was with Celeth. She and her brother was still near the Pneumatic Doors and certainly not in the fray.
Ammy Spiritor: Glowing green eyes counted those present. Five people. An adjustment to her array setting a pentagon within the circles.
Victor Kazon: "Consider it done." His wings extended and without another word, Victor rushed forward. A kinetic barrier formed before him, blasting the shocked sorcerer out through the window.
Celeth Vindra: "Damn it!" As the glass behind him shattered and he felt himself falling, Celeth grabbed one of the crystals and charged it to critical mass before throwing it back into the bar. The shields formed by the remaining crystals formed a sphere that rolled harmlessly backward, and he began preparing another spell.
LordTravanix: Alright lani...::He growled as the item was tossed - that was a good indicator of a bomb. He moved quickly towards lani, pushing her towards a corner. He pulled several throwing knives from the utility belt pocket and lobbed them towards the attacker. Mearly a distraction, but enough that he could manuver.::
Etherealdream: Eyeing the pair as the battle began to move through the window and out onto the street, Anya hissed angrily as she took a few successive steps back towards Lord Travanix and his company, her hands still contorted and half curled, ready to slash and grab. "Get down!" The siren herself said this as she flipped a nearby table and slid behind it's metal surface. Unfamiliar with technology or no, the siren knew when an enemy threw something, it was generally a good idea to be out of it's way. In ->
Victor Kazon: Following the rolling sphere, Victor drew out a crystal of his own, one that seemed to suck in all the light around it. So focused was he on Celeth that he ignored the bomb altogether. "I am a guardian, and you've encroached upon what is mine for the last time."
Etherealdream: her rush, the ribbon fell to the ground beneath the clutter of chairs and debris that littered the floor.
Iokaste: Sharp eyes see the bomb and she smirks summoning a bolt hole to her and her companion. Because of a bit of a curse, they had to go through the hole. They were out of sight and protected.
Eiellani Rose: :: She'd clearly not slacked in her practices while he was absent, moving with her Lord and following his lead with hardly a need for direction::
Ammy Spiritor: Seeing something tossed into the bar through the window, Ammy gave a small growl and abandoned the array. She stood and dove out a different window, shattered glass following and she rolled coming up into a defensive stance looking around before retreating to a safe distance.
LordTravanix: ::Amongst all this, he smirked...SEB wasn't supposed be hit till later in the night..Ah well..::
Celeth Vindra: Suspended inside the sphere as it rolled away from Star's End, Celeth let its inertia carry him away, but not before whispering the rune that triggered the overloaded crystal, in hopes that it would be enough to destroy the monster inside. "Victor... stop this!" He hissed through gritted teeth as the seraph bore down upon him.
Victor Kazon: Victor followed, a blade extending from his wrist and a bright light charging in his eye.
Etherealdream: Seeing the progress, and not to be left behind, Anyanka spied the nearest exit and loped out through it with an inhuman speed and grace.
LordTravanix: ::The claws retracted.:: lani. ::He said simply.::
Eiellani Rose: Yes Lord?
LordTravanix: ::His arms folded behind him.:: I trust you are unharmed, my pet.
Eiellani Rose: Of course. And you?
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy noted the fleeing people. She noted Travanix escaping and weighed the decision on whether to pursue or not. She could see the smoke from the city as well as the fires. She had to admit, being one of a created race for war, that Travanix had executed things quite nicely.
Iokaste: After a few minutes, she reopened the bolt hole and the pair stepped out again. She had not survived this long by being stupid.
Aksana: The assassin stopped short of the bar after seeing the explosion, and remained cloaked on the rooftop next door. Her soft whispers did not carry far; she made her report simple and concise.
LordTravanix: ::He nodded.:: Other than annoyed, I am fine. ::He shook his head.::
Eiellani Rose: Good. I'm glad you are unharmed. I'm sure that the schedule hardly allows for a vengeful rampage at the moment.
LordTravanix: I think perhaps an orbital strike may be better, two birds one very large rock.
Eiellani Rose: I do love watching explosions from so high up.
LordTravanix: I will radio Lord Pol. He should have his ship in orbit from the blockaid. Contact the troops hitting the marketplace, make sure they withdraw from that battlefield.
Ammy Spiritor: She pulled her cell phone and made a quick call. "Fleet, it's time to do something. Meet me at my lab in the Glen." she flicked the phone shut and put the phone back on her belt.
Eiellani Rose: As you command. :: She gave a positively wicked smile before doing as he commanded.::
LordTravanix: ::When he said "radio", what he meant to say was communicate with Lord Pol through the Force.::
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy did want to send a message to Travanix and let him know that there would be a few pockets of resistance. She pointed a clawed finger and arced a single bolt of crimson Force lightning in his direction.
Eiellani Rose: :: Not having any force mojo herself, she used an actual radio. A tiny transmitter that was fashioned to look like a wrist watch, the better for keeping time and contact in times of activity. She'd had one made for each and any girl who might be distributed to run messages among the troups.::
LordTravanix: ::The bolt was easily caught in his hand as the auburn eyes scouted out the girl that threw them.::
Ammy Spiritor: She just grinned with sharp teeth and ignited her azure light saber. She gave Travanix a mocking salute, then extinguished the saber as she disappeared into the night.
Ammy Spiritor: Ammys paw steps were light, but measured. She approached the Star's End bar for a drink away from the usual boisterous clamour of the Inn.
