Southern Glen - 1 mile from the Den.
Mirius was in her white dress with the scarf tighed around her waist once again. It was good to keep up the idea that she was being harmless and innocent looking, and walking around with guns all the time was not necessarily helping. Even of thos events, she felt like relaxing for the moment, walking through the forest of the southern glen by herself quietly.
Igneous: Mirius would soon feel and barely here Igneous walking with her as if he materialized out of thin air.
Mirius Pojoris: She looked over to her side and grinned. "Well, if it ain't the general himself. What brings ye here?"
Igneous: "Seeing how your progress is going. Have you gathered more information?"
Mirius Pojoris: "Very much so." She smiled and looked forward while they walked. "Seems there's been a lot goin' on in that Den of theirs. And seems I am just another innocent lupinossai there, of course I ain't taken it fer granted."
Igneous: He chuckled. "Yes. I can't see you being just another boring female with a child. So how bad is this Den?"
Mirius Pojoris: "Oh, ye find me interestin'?" She winked to him with a laugh. "Anyways, seems their Alphrans, Vuusoolta, had used someone to kill off other council members. And apparently the one who served him was against his own will. Somethin' about his items forcin' him to do all the work."
Igneous: Igneous thought about that for a moment. "Was the servant named Mogriil?"
Mirius Pojoris: She looked to him. "Ye it was. How'd y'know?"
Igneous: "How could I forget such a nasty mage killer." he grimaced. "So what became of Mogriil?"
Mirius Pojoris: "Well, looked like he was innocent if ye look at him the other way. He did things he didn't want to, but anyways...apparently, he got sentenced 20 years to someone called Aramus and for him to get neutered. Only saw that Aramus fella fer a few minutes er so, but it ain't no lupe I can tell ye that."
Igneous: "Amusing. Exiled and sterilized." He laughed loudly. "Sounds about as pathetic as the Wolf rebel leader I personally whipped and castrated in the Old Country. Street was his name I believe." he grinned with fond memory. "At least Mogriil will not be a problem now. So the Alphrans has mud all over him then?"
Mirius Pojoris: "Oh yeah." She smirked. "And I met Street. What a charmin' fella."
Igneous: He raised a furred brow hearing Mirius. "He is here?"
Mirius Pojoris: "Mhmm. But Igneous, I have to tell ye somethin'. Don't get blood thirsty yet. I'm tryin' to see if I can work some people over within' the Den. Maybe start some riots. It seems the people within the Den have many racin' thoughts about everythin' that goes on. And many seem to have some lack in confidence in their law holders." She grinned. "But not like it be all I havin' ideas about."
Igneous: "I see. So who all have you won over so far?"
Mirius Pojoris: "None as of permenantly. I got Street thinkin', but ye know it is family he'd be havin' to go up against. And fer others I got them to think I'm just a bit misudnerstood and harmless truly." Oh and then she pulled out her ID card and handed it to Igneous. "Ye like?" She snickered.
Igneous: He looked at the plastic thing. "What is this?"
Mirius Pojoris: "An ID card that lets me get into the Den. All thanks to Ammy Spiritor. I can get just about anywhere I like with this little thing."
Igneous: Igneous grinned. "Well aren't you the resourceful little cuss. Is Ammy on our side yet?"
Mirius Pojoris: "Well, things like that are hard y'know. She ain't wantin' war. She just wantin' everyone to get along. And she healed me from dyin'. So, even if she ain't on our side exactly, she still be helpin' in a sense." She snickered evilly.
Igneous: "A weapon with a sense of morals and pitty? Maybe I should meet her and remind her of her purpose." he said a bit darkly.
Mirius Pojoris: "If ye do leave me out of it. I told 'em I ain't hurting her or her family. I have to keep me word if I want to stay in that den y'know. Understand?"
Igneous: He paused in his walking to look at her for a long moment considering a few things.
Mirius Pojoris: She stopped when he paused, looking at him. "Ye okay?"
Igneous: "That makes sense I will have to admit. Having you within stirring things up is more advantageous than having you physically in an assault." he kept thinking for a moment or two. "Have you run into Fleetian Wolf yet?"
Mirius Pojoris: "Aye, I have. Had the chance to kill him. Instead he and I had a little talk."
Igneous: "How did that go?" he smirked.
Mirius Pojoris: "Quite nice. He just be more worried about knowin' how many injuries he's gonna have to be healin'." She grinned. "Told him to stay out of me way and he and his family will be just fine. And so far I've kept me words. I ain't hurt a fly yet."
Igneous: This greatly amused Igneous. "He didn't try to kill you and he's more worried about the wounded? You sure he is Fleetian Wolf?"
Mirius Pojoris: "Father of Vuusoolta ye." She grinned. "Talked about how he be missin' fer so long and came back only to find everyone missin'. How there be only like what...four of 'em left alive?"
Igneous: Igneous was starting to get a sly grin on his muzzle. "So he is unaware of the full extent of the wars then?"
Mirius Pojoris: "I would believe so." She grinned at him. "Oh, and where did magical items that Mogriil had come from? Do ye know?"
Igneous: "A Spiritor mage long dead for being a traitor." He grinned. "Maybe, just maybe if we play our cards right, we may not need an army to conquer the Den. It would be nice to not have to invest heavily in restoring lost wealth and property." Igneous said with a sage nod.
Mirius Pojoris: "That is a shame. I was hopin' we could get somethin' like 'em, but seems other things can suffice." She sighed. "But of coures I'll explore this Den even more. Find out more areas of it and a layout. Perhaps, I can talk to maybe less fortunate lupes within the den. With all them brewin' thoughts and people jumpin' up to scream at each other in courtrooms really be a godo sign."
Igneous: He nodded. "Oh, I would love a grand battle, and I have been gathering quite the force of sentient dire wolves, ogres, orcs, a few lychs with a battallion or two of skeleton warriors and a large band of ronin samurais." He grinned.
Mirius Pojoris: "And I thought I be doin' good." Mirius chuckled. "Me job is kinda painful. I can't be talkin' to the masses. I have to pick and choose and talk to individuals." She rubbed her head and leaned against a tree. "If I could just get somethin' bad to happen, make the higher ups react and get forceful, it'd get others to panic and get lost in confusion."
Igneous: "It has not been easy for me. I have been gone longer than I wished and have made more deals than I wished to be held to. Though having the Ebony Knight as an ally has given me weight with the evil creatures of this land. As to your thoughts, maybe you should ask Ammy to make a concoction that will make Lupes ill and use it in the water system? Spread a health panic that will put pressure on the leaders. Nothing lethal, just very uncomfortable and nasty." he chuckled.
Mirius Pojoris: "Oh that be nice, but see Ammy wouldn't be doin' that on her own, ye know. How would I suggest her to make such a chemical?"
Igneous: "That is a puzzle for you my clever spy." he grinned.
Mirius Pojoris: She chuckled. "Oh, but if I do get it. I believe I know how to get it into the water system without me gettin' in trouble." Mirius leand forward and off of the tree. "I mean every city has desperate poor ye? I could always find someone who be extremely desperate and maybe mak 'em do a lil' task fer me to get some money. Maybe a single parent stugglin' to feed their pups."
Igneous: "Now you are thinking like a Spiritor." he grinned.
Mirius Pojoris: She snickered. "But all just plans on getting that chemical." Mirius tapped her chin ."Problem is what if I don't get it...."
Igneous: "Think of another tactic to get the same results."
Mirius Pojoris: "What? Get it from someone else?" Mirius raised a furry eyebrow
Igneous: "No. I'm implying that if plan A does not work. Then have a plan B for causing the same type of panic."
Mirius Pojoris: "Well, I ain't got any ideas on that yet. Unless I just get someone to steal from a shop of hers I so hear about a lot."
Igneous: Igneous sighed and just shook his head. "Panic is what you are aiming for with the public. If the chemical is not on paw then simply find something else that is attrocious and draw attention to it and let the public go mad."
Mirius Pojoris: She rolled her eyes. "Kinda what I was already doin'. Figured ye were still referrin' to the concuction."
Igneous: He just chuckled. "Very well. Continue with your missions then and gave that daughter a hug for me." and with that he walked off and vanished into the woods.
Mirius Pojoris: "And don't ye be startin' too much trouble." She snickered and waved to him, watching him vanish.
Meanwhile, within the Den walls.
Iimiidiina: Iimii was just off of class. He walks the streets of the Den, cloak around his shoulders over the grey apprentice robes. Valla was waiting outside the walls, Hephaestus followed close behind. He moved with purpose, first towards Ammy's house. He pounds on the door. "Mom!"
No response was given at the pounding. No one seemed to be home today. A page opened the door to Vuu's office. "Alphrans, you have a visitor to see you."
Iimiidiina: "Aaf," he shouts in frustration. He'll try the shop next. He walks away from the door and goes toward Mom's shop.
Vuusoolta Wolf: Vuu looked up from studying a few things. He was a bit rattled by hearing the outcome of the trial and possible suspicions now renewed. "Who is it?"
"An Ammy Spiritor. Claims to be your stepmother." the page said.
Vuusoolta Wolf: "Send her in."
The page waved for Ammy to enter the office then closed the door.
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy stepped inside and when the door shut the Page for some reason decides to lock the doors as three Den Fangs walk in and take up a guard position in the house. They all seemed to be in a daze.
Iimiidiina: He comes to the Alchemy shop next, but the lights were off. She wasn't in. Hmm, wonder where that Lupe is that is -supposed- to be making deliveries for her. He sighs, then heads for the hospital. Maybe Fleet or some nurse knew where she was.
Vuusoolta Wolf: Vuu stood up and looked at Ammy. "Evening." he said refraining from saying her name or calling her mother. "You wish to speak with me?"
Iimiidiina may notice a few Den Fangs missing from their usual posts.
Iimiidiina: He goes up to the receptionist's desk. "Excuse me, ma'am? Do you know where my Mom, Ammy Spiritor, is? She's married to Fleet."
Mirius Pojoris: Mirius sighed and wandered through the Glen some more in her white loose dress. She decided to walk for he den, but she only took her time. Time was after all a factor of making the Den fall.
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy grimmaced. "No, 'Hello mother? Nice to see you mom?" She sighed. "You never have liked me, even after I made sure they didn't burn your body, and placed you within a regeneration crystal." she said with some sadness.
The nurse at the Hospital mentioned that she may be speaking with Vuusoolta about a magic teaching course for the Lupinossai Learning Center that was to open soon.
Vuusoolta Wolf: "How can I appreciate a woman, no, a female Spiritor who has more faces than a chaemelion? I am still surprised father found something to love in you."
Iimiidiina: That's a start. She wasn't at the usual spots. "Thanks. Tell Grandad I said thank you for the birthday gift, too, if he's in right now." With that, Iimii heads out and walks for the Alphrans house. Where are all the Fangs tonight? Maybe running a search party or something.
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy just crossed her arms for a long minute. "I am growing weary of this hatred of Spiritors. Why must we be hated? You have cost the freedom and manhood of a Lupe who was killing for you against your will. You have single handedly managed a coup in this Den and have taken full advantage of rising up from the dead. I swear your more Spiritor than I."
Iimiidiina: Iimii pounds on the door of the Alphran's compound. "Mom! Brother! Open up!"
Vuusoolta Wolf: "Interesting acusation for a b***h who's put up at least one demon tower in this Den under everyone's noses, had a daughter who brought an evil goddess in that destroyed most of the Den, and has managed to get exiled by her own people. Want me to make it a second time...mother." he said the last with a snarl.
Iimiidiina: "OPEN UP."
Mirius Pojoris: Mirius slowly walked up to the Den. Never did she forget that ID card to show the guards at the gate to get in to the Den. It was time for just a little bit of site seeing. Only to common areas of course. She wouldn't go into anything too shady.
The door opened enough for a Den Fang to look down at Iimii. *What do you want?*
Ammy Spiritor: "So you threaten to do away with me just like Mogriil? You do realize how dangerous it is to anger Street the way you have?"
Iimiidiina: Good thing he was answered. He was just about to break out his wand and amplify his voice. "I need to see my Mom. Ammy Spiritor. I know she's in there and I must see her." Hephaestus leers over his master, watching the Fang.
Vuusoolta Wolf: "Street is family, unlike you. He was born into our clan not brought in like some arranged peace marriage. He wouldn't dare attack me, or I'll seek out father for a honor dual between the two." he crossed his arms. He knew the laws new and old. Hell he wrote the new ones.
The Den Fang just looked at Iimii and Hephaestus. A slight distance in his gaze. "Den Alphrans and Her are meeting. They are not to be disturbed until the meeting is over."
Iimiidiina: "Tough. This involves the Alphrans, it might even be better if he was here. I'm not going to be denied entrance by you."
Iimiidiina: "I must see her."
Ammy Spiritor: "Ah, the tyranical side of Great Den Wolf is finally showing in you. Fleetian was spared that trait fortunately. You want to know why my Den came after yours? We hated the egotism and the fact you forced us all into the desert and caves just for being magic users."
Mirius Pojoris: After Mirius was simply inside the Den she headed towards the market district. Perhaps she could find a map or something of this place that could be sold. It would be a lot easier than just figuring this all out the hard way.
Iimiidiina: He wasn't going to bother with any mind tricks. Fangs were trained to be wily to such tricks.
"Access denied." the door was closed and barred tight.
Vuusoolta Wolf: "Oh, so the Spiritors hold grudges too? Fancy that. What is your real reason for being here mother and the for bespelling my staff with psionics?"
Iimiidiina: "Heph." The powerful familiar starts barraging the door like a battering ram.
That draws the attention of Lupes on the street. A small crowd starts to gather to watch Iimii assault the Den Alphrans house.
Ammy Spiritor: "I come with a warning, Vuusoolta Wolf. You are not fit to lead this Den anymore. You have let contempt breed among the Lupinossai and have caused old wounds to be left open and fester. I have to ask you to step down, resign, and find a replacement, or there will be consequences."
Iimiidiina: "No no, wait. Stop. Stop!" Heph immediately stops and looks down at Iimii, confused. "This isn't right. We shouldn't intrude. That's against the law. We'll wait for her. This isn't right." Iimii takes a deep breath and calms his temper. "We'll wait for her. Either way, we'll get to her. We have to."
Iimiidiina: Iimii looks at the small crowd. "I do apologize for the commotion. There's nothing more to see."
The crowd looked a bit confused but eventually left.
Vuusoolta Wolf: "Consequences? You are threatening me in my own Den?" he laughed.
Mirius Pojoris: She did indeed find a store this late at night that was still open for a short while. Mirius had gone into the shop to buy a map of the den and paid the necessary money of course. She would leave the shop, looking at the map. "Hm." Her eyes looked up from the map and around her. A housing area...that would be a good place to examine. Perhaps see the living ocnditions of the Lupionossai in the Den. Her feet turned her to the appropriate direction and began to slowly walk.
Ammy Spiritor: "Correction. My Den. This place came out of blood, sweat, and tears that I've shed before you were around and I am sick of the Den being poorly lead. Will you stand down?"
Iimiidiina: Iimii sits down Indian-style on the pavement and closes his eyes. He let's his mind wander, and there they are, inside the compound. They must be speaking. But about what?
Vuusoolta Wolf: "Who'll take my position? You, a former exile that few trust any more than me? Father who has become a plaything for deities and is now more interested in healing than leading? Or maybe Stree who loves battle? Who else would you put in my position?"
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy's eyes flashed for a moment or two. "It doesn't have to be a Wolf to lead. I say you put Igneous Fi'igoo in leadership."
Vuusoolta Wolf: "Who is this Igneous Fi'igoo?" he asked suspicious.
Ammy Spiritor: "You may know him better as the Flame General of Spiritor." she grinned showing all teeth.
Vuusoolta Wolf: "Why would I put him in charge? He is worse than you, and will certainly enslave the Den. A Den you built on freedom for all."
Ammy Spiritor: "Why? Let me see. Maybe becuase he's been snooping around the Glen. Or maybe because I can feel the stirrings or an amassed evil that can only mean he has an army gathering." she said cooly.
Vuusoolta Wolf: "They will never get past the new magical shield."
Mirius Pojoris: She continued to walk, occasionally peering at the map. Mirius began to enter housing area. Those eyes of malice look around warily. Planning, scanning, looking for something to thrive her evil doings off of.
Ammy Spiritor: "Really now. Just how many Spiritors do you know living in this city that could be spies? Last time I checked the roster at least eight Spiritors live in the Den." she said with a grimace. "You have problems."
Iimiidiina: Iimii suddenly has a bad feeling. He opens his eyes, then stands up. He starts banging on the door. But a trick must be used. Hephaestus waits around the corner. He knocks.
The door opened a crack again. Again. "What do you want?" glazed look in the eyes.
Iimiidiina: "Stupefy!" The wand is drawn and the Fang is knocked out cold. Iimii sneaks inside with Hephaestus close behind.
The Fang is knocked out and lays on the floor.
Iimiidiina: Heph closes the door with his tail so as not to arouse suspicion from the street. Iimii keeps his wand drawn in case they can't sneak by any Fangs. Inside the compound, it becomes easy to track Ammy's and Vuu's auras.
Vuusoolta Wolf: Vuusoolta looked as if someone had thrown ice water on him. "How do you know? Have you been siding with the Spiritors that have been shooting Den Fangs?"
Four more Den Fangs guard the hallway and a Page. The Den Fangs block Iimii's way and they seem to shimmer with magic shields.
Iimiidiina: Iimii holds his wand at the Fangs. "Step aside." He notices the dazed look--are they bewitched?
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy felt Iimii and didn't show to Vuu that she was keeping the guards in thrall and shielding them. It was starting to wear on her. "The Spiritor I healed has not harmed anyone that I know of."
The Fangs do not respond, just keep blocking his way.
Vuusoolta Wolf: Vuu went quite for a moment. "You are a traitor then?"
Iimiidiina: Iimii goes toward him. Maybe the wand alone will cause them to part like the Red Sea.
Mirius Pojoris: Though, doing this at night surely wasn't the best, but there is commonly 'night life' within cities usually. But not like she could do anything with them if there is some unfortunate Lupinossai about. Maybe to manipulate them against the Den if she were to find some.
Lots of night life about.
The Fangs don't move. The magic shields spark ominusly around them.
Ammy Spiritor: "Traitor may be your label, but I wish to pull down the barriers within our people. If I must give aide to the enemy, then so be it."
Iimiidiina: "Hephaestus. Clear the way, please." The massive familiar goes toward them and tries to shove them aside. The Fangs will soon know that while he is of fire, he is as solid as rock.
The shield would repel the first attack but a small crack will show.
Iimiidiina: Maybe the conversation he eavesdropped on was useless now. Iimii tries to figure out just what is wrong with them as Hephaestus beats at the shield, trying to make them separate.
Vuusoolta Wolf: Vuu was quiet again and the office seemed to go deathly still. The room seemed to vibrate with magic.
The shiled soon cracks more then shatters. Ammy winced slightly but she was more concerned now with Vuu who was prepping magic.
Ammy Spiritor: "I wouldn't do that." she warned Vuu firmly.
Vuusoolta Wolf: The entire house was starting to resonate with magic as if any moment anything could come alive and attack.
Iimiidiina: Iimii leads the way as Hephaestus blows a hole. They run, no SPRINT, towards Ammy's and Vuu's auras. They are not bothered by the house. It only sustains their accusations that something is wrong. Iimii would Stupefy any Fangs that might try to stop them, including a bewitched Verbosk that was stationed behind a tapestry.
Mirius Pojoris: So, there was night life....But dark alleys were usually where things brewed. Not like she feared dark places. Mirius rolled up her map and saw a interesting dark alley. With a smirk she began to walk down it. Wonder if she would find anyone here...
Vuusoolta Wolf: Several wood boards shot out at Ammy from the floor and the walls.
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy caught a jagged board to the shoulder and turned. With ease she deconstructed the other boards with a touch of her paw. "Vuu, stop this. I don't want to fight you!"
Iimiidiina: The pair come to the door, and Iimii points his wand at it. "REDUCTO!" The door would explode inward.
Vuusoolta Wolf: "You come in here and make acusations then wave around consequences like you own this place and me. Let me show you that a real Alphrans is willing to prove himself against all challengers." he roared, the desk was sent right for Ammy, everything on it flying at her.
Iimiidiina: Should the spell work.
Ammy Spiritor: Hearing the word Reducto and the roar, Ammy hit the floor letting the desk fly through the exploding door and the shrapnell of the door to pepper the office.
Vuusoolta Wolf: Vuu shielded himself against the door shards and flung a bolt of lightning right for Ammy.
Iimiidiina: Hephaestus punches the flying desk, reducing it to splinters. They run in and Iimii points his wand at the room in general. "Immobulus!" This would cause everything to stop.
Ammy Spiritor: She countered with Force lightning and managed to get sizzled a little. Then Immobulus happened. Ammy's loaa wings flared and she leaped from the floor, took several steps and crashed out the window and hit the grass running.
Vuusoolta Wolf: Vuu was stopped though, looking a bit surprised.
Mirius would find a few street pups playing cards in the alley.
Mirius Pojoris: She saw the pups sitting there playing cards. Mirius grinned and walked up to them. "Well, hello there, pups. Havin' a good game?"
Iimiidiina: "Relashio." Iimii would release Vuu as Hephaestus chases after Ammy, moving equally as fast she is. Iimii, mean while, interrogates Vuu. "Alpha, what happened?"
The pups looked at her with interest. "A curse mam." one grinned. "She lookin' fancy."
Vuusoolta Wolf: "I was just told by your mother to give up my leadership to a Spiritor war mage." he said looking at the mess in his office now.
Mirius Pojoris: She chuckled. "Oh, well thank ye. I say where be yer parents at this hour, huh?" Mirius smirked at them and put her hands on her hips.
Iimiidiina: "What? No no no, that can't be."
Ammy Spiritor: She heard Hephaestus hot on her trail. She was already arming her deconstruction arrays to break him down into little bitty magic pieces.
"Maybe we offed dem lady. You have money?" another pup asked. A few more were getting closer to Mirius.
Vuusoolta Wolf: "Oh it is." he raised a paw and with magic started repairing the office. "She flat told me that if she must she will aide the enemy to break down the barriers of the Den.
Mirius Pojoris: She smirked. Trouble makers. "Offed 'em? Well, now. I guess we all got somethin' similar then, huh?" She moved her paws behind herself and held them together. "As fer money. That highly depends. Ye may just have to work fer it."
Mirius Pojoris: "Not that the offier I be makin' is hard...."
Iimiidiina: "Hephaestus! Let her go! Come back!" As if he would hear. But Heph is a familiar. Of course he can hear. Heph breaks off the pursuit and teleports back to Iimii's side. "She saved the Den! She can't possibly betray it!"
Ammy Spiritor: She let the deconstruction arrays fade with a sigh of relief. She'd rather not hurt Iimii. A few lupes were looking at the running Ammy covered in glass. She forced herslef to slow down and breath. She gave a charming smile to the others. "Experiment gone bad in the Philosophers Flask is all. Got knocked through the window." and she kept walking. Soon she was getting near a certain alley.
"Werk fer money?" the lead pup spat. "We'd rather take it frem ye."
Vuusoolta Wolf: "She's a Spiritor, Iimii. Evil to the core. She only does what she wants to further her goals."
Iimiidiina: "I don't believe that! I've seen her good side! She couldn't POSSIBLY betray us!" But he was simply in denial. Everything made sense: the healing, the absent nights, the shady going-ons.
Mirius Pojoris: She took out a nuukel and held it in paw out to him. "Take it. See that yer worthy. If ye can't take it. Then ye gonna do the simple task I ask."
Vuusoolta Wolf: "Don't let her fool you Iimii. She's not your mother. Ammy is nothing but a traitor that should die."
Mirius Pojoris: She may be looking pretty and fancy, but under all that was indeed a trained killer.
Iimiidiina: Iimii shakes his head. No. He was going to find her, and he was going to prove it. "You're wrong, Alpha." Iimii creates a mental picture of Ammy in his mind. Then Hephaestus and Iimii teleport right in front of her.
The lead pup looks like he's going to go for the coin, but another pup that came up behind her clicked the hammer on a musket behind her. "We no want hurt ye miss. Just give money and leave."
Vuusoolta Wolf: Vuu sighed and went about finishing up the cleaning. Then he sat and started writing up a letter for the Den Fangs.
Ammy Spiritor: Well Ammy wasn't expecting that and collided with Hepaestus.
Mirius Pojoris: Her ears twitched and she heard the click from the musket. "Let me guess. Old fashion weaponary that is decent to the very least? Ye gonna try and hurt me with that?" She snickered. "Pups, do ye even know who yer dealin' with?"
Iimiidiina: Iimii grabs Ammy's arms and the three of them teleport to a random location. This spot just happened to be a secluded wheat field on the edge of the Den. He grabs her arms and shakes them vigorously. "Why, Mom?! Why?! Why would you betray us?!"
One of the other pups looke at the lead pup. "She ain't right in the head, Jesp."
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy broke free of his grasp and stepped back a foot from him and Hephaestus. "You wouldn't understand Iimii."
Jesp looked to the gun pup. "Midg, don' waist the shot." he looked up to Mirius. "What kinda job?"
Mirius Pojoris: Muskets. Those were rifles. Rifles aren't meant for close range.... She spun around, ducking low at the same time. As her body spun aroudn her head was turned towards the the one with the musket and a paw went to grab the barrel and pull it away and at an angle that wasn't facing herself.
Iimiidiina: "Try me." He was staring intently at her as Flame would extend from his back and encircle them, stopping any escape for either of them.
The pup Midg lost hold on the musket and just backed away.
Mirius Pojoris: She held the musket in her paws. There, now she wasn't in danger. "Ye ain't suppose to use a gun of sorts at point blank, pups. A lesson fer later in life." She winked at Midg. Her eyes directed to Jesp and tossed the musket at him."First I must ask a few more things. How's the Den treatin' ye?"
Ammy Spiritor: She looked at Iimii. "All my life I was hated for being a Spiritor and being used as a magic weapon for war. This Den still hates me for being a Spiritor. With Igneous Fi'igoo in the realms, it's only a matter of time before he decides to find me and entrap me again into being Weapon 237 again." she said with a tremble in her voice. "I have to act fast to keep as many people alive before that happens. If the Den falls without a fight, many will live."
Jesp caught the gun and grunted. The pups went back to their card game. "Feh, we live. We steal. we have fun. The Den is just stupid adults."
Iimiidiina: "We will be slaves again, Mom! That is not what you want. That is not what I want. That isn't what ANYBODY wants! You do this, and you'll already be Weapon 237!"
Mirius Pojoris: She walked around them with her paws behind her back. "I couldn't agree more with ye. In fact, wouldn't ye like a change in this Den?"
Ammy Spiritor: "If I don't help, many will die Iimmii." she said head down and not looking at him. "No one realizes the danger poised outsidte the Den."
Iimiidiina: "I do! Mom, your agent almost killed me! Mom, you have to tell the truth and deal with it before it becomes too late!"
Jesp thought a moment. "Wha' kind change?"
Ammy Spiritor: "What truth Iimii? That I am tired of war? That I want conflicts to stop to the point I'd rather have the enemy conquer us then continue on being hated and loathed?" she said in frustration.
Iimiidiina: "You have been blessed by Canis, Mom... You can't possibly believe the words you are saying. You would spit Her gifts back in Her face just so you can be more comfortable?!"
Mirius Pojoris: "Wouldn't have to deal with them outrageous law enforcers about. And the very devious Alphrans. I mean if this was such a great den ye all wouldn't be sittin' here havin' a struggle would ye?" She raised a furry brow as she questioned.
Ammy Spiritor: "Ye have a point lady. some change may be nice." jesp said.
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy didn't look at Iimii. "How can you tell me that I am doing this to be more comfortable. Have you suffered as much as I have?" she asked with deep anquish.
Ammy Spiritor: "Have you been used as much as I have? Loved and hated? Killed and revived? Befriended and betrayed?"
Iimiidiina: "You're a coward. Have you even considered that we might have a chance at actually winning? That there are people in this Den who are suffering just as much as you are, who have to deal with hatreds and prejudices and all kinds of mu'udra on a daily basis? I have adults, even pups at the Orphanage, who look at me like I'm a monster that needs to be collared so I don't blow a crater somewhere!"
Mirius Pojoris: She took out some money. Enough to feed the pups for a couple days and dropped the money in the middle of their card game. "If ye want more money than this. Simply if I ever pas by again. Do as I ask. Nothing I be askin' be hard. In fact they may be very simple when I be returning. But first thing I ask. Tell yer friends around here and any unfortunate lupinossai. Cause a little trouble since ye like to. I'm sure it will be...fun." She smirked
"Yes'm." Jesp said and soon money was divied up.
Ammy Spiritor: "Have you seen the crater just outside the Den? I am just a broken weapon who dared dreamed to have a life beyond war. I can't help it when my past surfaces rearing it's ugly heads. I feel I am not in control anymore of my life. That history is about to repeat itself. All I've done so far is heal a poor Spiritor who was dying from alien parasites, help an orphan find a mother who is loving you just have to look past the weapons, and have promised not to interfere in their war."
Mirius Pojoris: "And just don't be pickin' anyone. Choose the stragglers in life. Ye know, the ones who really need the help n' change. Do your job well and don't be mentionin' a thing about me to any of them authorities. Otherwise I can't help the den be a better place. Understand, pups?"
Iimiidiina: "You just were interfering! You were helping them! That's even worse! Do you even care about me? About Lene?"
Ammy Spiritor: That was a low blow.
"Yes'm" the pups said.
Ammy Spiritor: "I do care." she whispered, pain in her voice.
Iimiidiina: "Then why do this? Would you see me a slave? My future pups slaves? What of Lene's new pup? What kind of a world would he live in when he can't even trust his own grandmother to do the right thing?"
Mirius Pojoris: "Good. Good. I may be seein' you all soon. Just look at me like an angel. I'm sure ye wouldn't deny and get a helpful angel into trouble." She winked to the pups and slowly began to walk away to leave the alley.
Ammy Spiritor: Her paws were trembling slightly. "How can I tell what is right and wrong anymore in this Den?"
Iimiidiina: "I can tell you one thing: what you are doing is not right. Why undo all of your hard work and sacrifices?" His voice becomes tender. "Ammy... Mother... we can beat them back. I know we can. You don't have to do this."
Ammy Spiritor: "But, Mirius hasn't hurt anyone since I made her promise. She can't be evil." Ammy said in a daze feeling quite a bit unsteady in everything.
Iimiidiina: "That's not her mission. I know what she's up to. Heph." The familiar opens his mouth, and soon the entire conversation between Mirius and Street would play out. See? She's sowing dissent. She's a virus, killing the Den from the inside."
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy sank to ground, holding her stomach. She had been used again.
Iimiidiina: "You have to do something, Ammy. She can't continue being inside the Den. She's probably already poisoned poor Rawsha."
Mirius Pojoris: Mirius began to walk down the streets again. Slow and casual. If things don't go smoothe, then they'll only get rough. There was always more and more plans.
Ammy Spiritor: "Can't be possible. Rawsha loves her. I've seen them together." Ammy said weakly.
Iimiidiina: "That is what I mean by poisoned! Don't you get it, Mom? She's a Soultre orphan, an outcast in the Orphanage. She's the perfect target to breed into the perfect assassin! You have to get Mirius out!"
Ammy Spiritor: "How?" she said, eyes closed. She felt used, sick, weak, and out of control.
Iimiidiina: "We find her. I can distract her, then, together, we can kick her out."
Mirius Pojoris: Mirius continued to walk down the streets. Those eyes of hers examined those she passed by, looking for anymore stragglers of the night. Of course, she has affected a few pups, but why not affect even more?
Ammy Spiritor: "I gave her my word Iimii. She's not evil. Misguided yes, but salvageable." Ammy said trying to find some hope in this.
Soon Mirius would see Den Fangs posting up flyers on walls, trees, and posts.
Iimiidiina: "Then you distract her, and I'll kick her out."
Ammy Spiritor: "Why...why...not capture her and rawsha together? Convince her to... join the Dens side?" her head hurt with all of this.
Mirius Pojoris: She saw the flyers about. Then she got curious and walked up to one to read it.
Iimiidiina: "You know that's not going to happen."
Ammy Spiritor: "How do you know? I can meld minds to my will." she said quietly not really wanting to say she had that power thanks to the demon lych she once knew.
Iimiidiina: "So I saw. But if she's an agent for a Spiritor war mage, she must have protection against such tricks."
Mirius would see the posters. They read ~Wanted Dead or Alive: Ammy Spiritor, Street Wolf, and any Spiritors acting suspiciously for crimes of Treason. 100 Diamon Nuukels Alive, 200 Diamon Nuukels Dead. Authorized by Den Alphrans Vuusoolta Wolf~
Ammy Spiritor: "I... I didn't feel any protection when around her..." she said with a stammer. Did she slip up somehow? Did she let her compassion for a fellow injured Spiritor trap her?
Iimiidiina: "We can't take any chances. She must be sent away. You know she has to leave, and then you need to apologize to Vuu. Now, come on. Get up. Let's do this."
Mirius Pojoris: Uh oh....Now was the time to make sure Mirius herself didn't screw up big time. She took a poster and rolled it up and kept it with the map she held. Mirius doesn't know what is going on, but surely enough she's got to find Ammy or Street. It wouldn't be good to hae potential allies to be captured. She began to move again now that her goal was changed. No time for the stragglers in life. They can wait.
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy stood shakily and walked with Iimii. Soon a howling shot was made from a farm house as lights came on. *HEY! I FOUND HER! CALL THE FANGS!* the farmer shouted.
Iimiidiina: "What the Fen?!" Flame disappears. "Aaf, Vuu must have put up notices!"
Ammy Spiritor: That didn't sound good at all. "So it begins." she gave Iimii a quick kiss and stunned him with a jolt of lightning. She vanished into the field heading for the Den wall quickly.
Iimiidiina: "Yap!" Iimii lies stunned on the ground. Hephaestus roars after Ammy. Stupid thing.
Mirius Pojoris: Mirius side and her pace picked up slightly. She didn't know where to go or look. She mumbled a few swears to herself, then a few other words she picked up from some other realms that didn't sound too nice either. If Ammy gets caught it would be hell to get her out.
Iimiidiina: Inside, he despairs. Vuu was right. She was a liar.
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy used her Loaa powers and vanished teleporting past the wall and in the midst of a patrol of Den Fangs. "Muudra." she cursed. *Lupis, it's her!* they shouted grabbing pistols.
Mirius Pojoris: Then she thought. Street. Mirius turned the other direction and headed for the cafe to see if he was there.
Ammy Spiritor: Clapping her paws she blinded them with a flash of light and kept running. Her aim was not to harm. A glance over her shoulder at the Den for a moment. "I'll make this all right some how Iimii. I promise. I just can't fall into Vuu's paws." then she ran for all she was worth.
The cafe staff told mirius they hadn't seen street for a few days.
Iimiidiina: Uh oh. Watch dogs. Hephaestus picks up Iimii and runs into the night.
Mirius Pojoris: She rubbed her head now getting a little frustrated. Vuusoolta was making this difficult for sure. Mirius looked at the staff. "Do any of ye even know where he is?"
The staff told her he left on his bike a day a go. never came back.
Mirius Pojoris: She groaned ."Thenk ye..." Mirius hurried out of the Den and went for the gate. She checked for her ID card...yep, she still had it...hope it doesn't become tainted from whatever is going on and make her unable to use it.
A guard stopped her and checked her ID card. He took it inside a booth to check something.
Mirius Pojoris: She simply waited feeling a tad bit nervous.
The guard came back out with another guard following. They didn't have her ID anymore.
Mirius Pojoris: She raised a brow at the guards. "Somethin' goin' on?"
*Yer under arrest for questioning.* one guard said, the other went to grab Mirius.
Iimiidiina: Iimii is put down as he regains control of his muscles. The pair walk to Valla, a worried Valla twitching about in the trees. ~I'm alright, my darling. Just a lot happening. No, don't worry yourself. Heph and I have this. If I need your help, I'll call for it. Just make sure that no enemies try to come in.~ He comes upon the gate just as Mirius is being arrested. He stops and watches.
Mirius Pojoris: "Whoa! Hold on!" She pulled away and backed up." Questionin' fer what? What's goin on? I ain't gettin' arrested fer no reason here."
*Ye work for the wanted Ammy Spiritor.* A few more guards were coming.
Ammy Spiritor: The clap of paws was heard and a small explosion threw chunks of ground pelting the Fangs.
Iimiidiina: "Whoa!" Iimii automatically pulls out his wand and holds it at the ready.
Mirius Pojoris: "Look. I'll be happy enough to answer yer question's right here and now, but ye ain't arrestin' me." She was caught in war before and was definitely not going to be arrested. At seing the Fangs being hit, Mirius made a run for it holding the map and poster in hand. Gee, hope those kids can get the word spread in the Den.
Iimiidiina: "Petrificus totalus!" The full body bind. And it was aimed right at the fleeing Mirius. He wasn't much thinking, only trying to help.
Mirius Pojoris: She looked back to see if anyone was chasing her, only to see Iimiidiina to be shooting a spell at her. Mirius jumped to the side and slid across the ground. It hurt some and now her dress was all dirty and getting messed up. She stumbled up her feet, having a hard time in the dress and ran for the forest.
Iimiidiina: "Stupefy!" Iimii chases after her. ~Valla, after her!~ The dragon roars and jumps Between, trying his best to get to a spot in front of Mirius. But such constant jumping made it inaccurate.
Ammy Spiritor: Suddenly a paw would grab mirius into the bushes as Ammy slammed a Cruciatos curse at Iimii. "This way." she whispered pulling her deeper off the trails to an old laboratory she had before the attacks on Rhydin.
Iimiidiina: The pup shouts and drops the wand. Valla would roar as well in shared pain.
Mirius Pojoris: Well, everything was catching her by surprise this night. And she was just pulled along with Ammy through the trails. "Ammy, whatis goin' on?" She demanded in a quiet tone.
Iimiidiina: With a simple command through the pain, Hephaestus tracks the fugitive as best as he can: with footprints.
Ammy Spiritor: "I had a chat with Vuu and he just about tried to kill me with his powers. I barely escaped then was questioned by Iimii. Now I am wanted." Using her alchemy she had the plants and ground regrow to obscure their tracks soon they reached a burnt out hulk of a building and ammy pulled mirius to a storm door, opening it and shoving her inside. She followed and shut the door locking it and with several arrays cast in the air rapidly hid them from magic and mundane detection. Ammy was tiring fast.
Mirius Pojoris: Mirius panted and leaned against a wall. "Great...and they're after me now..." She then handed Ammy the poster she and Street are wanted on. "Look at this."
Iimiidiina: Hephaestus growls, but continues to search, however fruitless is might be.
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy leaned against a wall slid to the charred floor. "I am not surprised." she was panting as well and looking thin.
Mirius Pojoris: "I looked fer Street..." She moved to Ammy's side and sat down beside her. "They say he left and ain't been seen fer a day. Left on his motorcycle."
Ammy Spiritor: "Streets a better survivor than I am. He'll be fine. As for us, we may survive if we surrender and you abandon Igneous." yep, she's figured it out now.
Mirius Pojoris: "How ye know about Igneous?" She looked at her in surprise. "And I ain't surrenderin'. I've been through too much war and escaped by luck to be goin' back to some prison. I got an apartment in RhyDin. We can be there for a little while. Rawsha is there. I need to get her, too."
Ammy Spiritor: "You wont go to prison. I'll take all the punishment and say I made you do these things. You'll be able to keep Rawsha and just live peacefully." she had her eyes closed now. Exhausted.
Mirius Pojoris: She put a paw on Ammy's shoulder and pulled her close. "I ain't leavin' ye behind, Ammy. Ye've gone too far be helpin' me. Time I help ye back. I ain't lettin' them catch ye."
Ammy Spiritor: She started to cry. "Dammit. I just want peace. If I can just get you and rawsha out of this without harm I'll turn myself in. I've mad a mess of everything."
Mirius Pojoris: "How ye gonna get peace bein' in prison? Fer all we know they can kill ye!" She sighed and leaned against the wall. "Ammy, I'll tell ye what I told Rawsha. Ye don't have to get into this fight. And yer a fellow Spiritor. If we can get to me apartment, ye make yerself at home and get rest."
Ammy Spiritor: She hung her head. "If I don't get involved now, I'm breaking my oath to my goddess as her angel to protect all lupe females and lupe children." she cried. "I've broken it several times tonight now hurting my own son."
Mirius Pojoris: "Ye can't protect everyone, Ammy...."
Ammy Spiritor: "I can try." she leaned her head back against the wall. Her shoulder hurt like hell. She could feel blood drying on her clothing from the wound by the sharp board and the glass window. "As soon as it is safe we'll get to you're appartment.
Mirius Pojoris: "That's what I want to hear..." She slightly grinned. "And they want ye dead or alive, Ammy. Ye know that means if yer captured alive yer goin' to be in a livin' hell. If yer dead, well, ye can't die now can ye? Just a....livin' hell...."
Ammy Spiritor: She gave a shuddering sigh. Mirius was right. She was a loaa and couldn't die permanently. Street could. Ammy felt cold dread. "I've gotta find Street. He was the closest thing I had to a father."
Iimiidiina: Finding the search fruitless, Iimii and Valla start heading out themselves, their voices combining as they search. "Mom/Ammy?"
Mirius Pojoris: "I'd be more than happy to look fer him with ye. I know we went to this dark place when he and I got away to hide to talk with each other. Maybe he be there..."
Ammy Spiritor: "Dark Hearts well." she said softly. She relaxed some. "Trust my dad to go to the one place few would tread."
Iimiidiina: "Where are you?" Iimii was waving the theoretical white flag here.
Mirius Pojoris: "Well, we can start with there. I'd be more than happy to let him hide with us fer a bit until we can find a safer place. The aprtment I have ain't fancy er anytihng, but there be food and a few places to sleep. Just a calm lil' place.
Ammy Spiritor: "I'll be able to teleport us to your appartment in a few minutes. As long as you have a good memory of Rawsha we'll be there soon."
Mirius Pojoris: "Of course." She smiled. "How could I ferget the daughter I love?"
Iimiidiina: "Where are you?"
Ammy Spiritor: "Good, good." she said tiredly. "You must have been nice before the war."
Mirius Pojoris: "I'm nice as long as other don't be provoking me." She chuckled. MIirus was still trying to gain her energy back, but she was feeling tired as well. Maybe not as tired as Ammy, though.
Iimiidiina: "Mom, please answer me! I'm not mad!"
Ammy Spiritor: Ammy could feel Iimii searching for her. She sent a single one way message to his mind and valla's. ~Don't look for me anymore. Please. It's too dangerous and you'll get marked as an enemy as well. I'll be fine. I'll come home when I can.~
Iimiidiina: Iimii finds the link, and hears the message. ~Mom, where are you?~ He didn't know it wouldn't work.
Mirius Pojoris: She looked over at Ammy and examined her. "When we get to me apartment. Eat and rest. Ye need it severely."
Ammy Spiritor: She laughed weakly. "I bet I look like something out of a refugee camp." she was feeling some of her power coming back. soon, soon she would get them out of here.
Iimiidiina: ~Mom! What are you doing?!~ The boy was panicking.
Ammy Spiritor: "You realize my family is going to come looking for me, Lene included." she looked at Mirius.
Mirius Pojoris: "Oh yeah." She grinned and respodned to her refugee camp statement. Then she rubbed the side of her muzzle knowing well what Ammy meant about other scoming to look for her. "I know. I ain't lookin' to hurt yer daughter, Ammy. As I said I won't be hurtin' yer family as long as they don't do a thing to me. That includes yer runt, Iimiidiina." She chuckled.
Ammy Spiritor: Thank Canis for small favors. She looked around the burnt out basement they hid in. One more piece of her history mocking her.
Mirius Pojoris: She held out a paw to Ammy. "If ye want. Take some energy from me. I got magic, I just don't know how to use it." She grinned to Ammy.
Ammy Spiritor: "I used to do research here when I was part demon." she looked at teh offered paw. "I am almost recovered. Save your strength for Rawsha. When we get there, I am going to be out of comission for a while."
Iimiidiina: ~Little one, we should heed your mother's advice. Trust her. And if she proves truly treacherous, as your stepbrother says, our combined strength can defeat her.~ Iimii didn't want to, but he nods. ~You're right, Valla. You're right. Let's go home.~
Mirius Pojoris: Mirius sighed. "Okay...and this was a research facility?"
Ammy Spiritor: "One of three I had. My main one is the Philosophers Flask, the second in the basement of the hospital. Then this one." slowly stood up readying to work the teleport spell.
Mirius Pojoris: slowly stood up with Ammy and put a paw on her shoulder. "This'll all be over soon. And it ain't like people got to die anyways. We do look fer methods that aren't messy...but we can talk about things later."
Iimiidiina: Iimii mounts the massive dragon. He looks around for a few more moments, in case Ammy chanced to wander on them. He calls out one more time for her, desperately. ~Mom! Where are you?~
Ammy Spiritor: ~Hiding. Stay safe. I'll attack from within their ranks and strike at Igneous if I can. I hope.~ her mental message was stretched then and weak. She shooke her head. "Think Rawsha Mirius."
Iimiidiina: He almost couldn't believe his mental ears. She told him to stay safe. Was she a double agent now? Did he actually convince her to stop this? Adoration comes across the temporary link. ~I knew you were good.~ He managed to eke it out before Valla jumped Between. Stay safe? Oh, he knew just where was safe.
Mirius Pojoris: "Easily done..." Mirius smiled at Ammy. Not a smile of malice or evil, but of actual happiness. She closed her eyes and began t othink of her daughter.
Ammy Spiritor: With a flash of green the two vanished from the basement and appeared in Mirius' appartment. Mirius would have someone waiting on her door step, someone Ammy sent away from teh den before speaking to Vuu.
Luna Felblade: *Luna sat next to the door. Her head is on her knees and she is whimpering softly*
Ammy Spiritor: The spell done, Ammy did what ammy always does when pushed too far. Hello floor.
Mirius Pojoris: She sighed and saw Ammy lying on the floor. She picked ammy up and put her on the couch then headed for the door.
Ammy Spiritor: She was out and in a deep sleep.
Luna Felblade: *Luna stays by Ammy's side*
