Fen woke up a little stiff. His arm was numb, and his tongue felt like he had been licking a rug. He opened one amber eye and saw that he was on a carpeted floor, beside a comfy couch. The room he was in felt like a family gathering place.

Fen sat up, blinked his eyes and tried to figure out why a pacifier was stuck in his nose. Dislodging the odd object he looked around. A fire burned low in the room. A work bench was in corner with several baubles on it in disarray. On the other couch, someone slept. It was Mokksha.

Moving his numb arm, Fen tried to recall how he came to be in the room and not the forest. He watched Mokksha's breathing and last night came to him hazily. He remembered talking to Ammy nervously about loving Mokksha. He was still worried about being Myrlenes SolGardo and being part of the Lupinossi community again.

Then he blinked his eyes and a twitch started. He had asked Mokksha to be his mate. He had actually done it. Now he knew where he was. He was in Ammy and Fleets living room. His first night inside a home since his hermit life in the forest after his reversion to being a mortal.

Fen just sat on the floor in his torn jeans and pondered the events of his life. Where to next? What's going to happen? He then looked at Mokksha's sleeping form and just smiled. The questions just melted and he went back to watching her sleep quietly.

Fleet padded into the living room with just his hakemah on. The straps for tying the tunic on hung limp by his waist. He saw Fen sitting on the floor staring at Mokksha who was sleeping. He stopped and leaned against a door jam, and just grinned.

Fleet never thought Fen would fall in love for someone in 3,000 years, but it was now 3,000 and 1. Fen was mortal again and he had needs like all mortals. One of them was love. Fleet coughed lightly to get Fens attention. When Fen looked up Fleet smiled.

"You're going to follow me today Fen. We have some things to discuss." Fleet spoke, and returned to the bedroom where Ammy slept. He lightly touched Myrlene and slipped into the rest of his uniform.

Street was tuning the Ion Engine on the Harley. A recent skirmish with the vampire on the run left his bike worse for wear. Parts of the bikes shell were still drying from the repainting. The Ion Engine sounded like a screaming kitty for its mother. He tweaked the input/output throttle with a screw driver.

Screaming kitty reluctantly deepened to a purring cat. Street just smiled at how he'd been able to keep this bike running with everything that has happened to it. A buzzing caught his attention. He looked over at a chair in his little garage where his jacket hung. His phone was going off.

Odd piece of technology, yet useful. He fished it out of the jacket.

"Wolf Exterminatus. You call, I hunt. Street speaking."

*Morning Street. I don't have a bounty for you, but, I do have a request. This is Fleetwolf. Meet me at the Tease'n Tomes around 8pm tonight. I need to discuss something with you. Don't be late if possible.*

"What do you want to talk about?" Street asked with skepticism.

*Just meet me there..... Call has been disconnected.*

Street flipped the phone shut and went back to his bike. What in the world would Fleetwolf want to talk about? He checked the paint. The parts were now dry. Street buttoned the shells back into place, grabbed his jacket, and mounted the bike. It was early still. He could catch up on a few easy marks to help cover the cost of repairs.

Mokksha

Mokksha thought she heard voices as she woke up, but when she opened her eyes no one was there, not even Fen...and the last thing she remembered, she had been sitting on the couch the night before, teasing him about changing Myrlene's diapers all by himself. She looked around and realized it was morning and Fleet and Fen must have left already to get Fen settled back into the den hierarchy. She was comfortable with her place in it...as Street's adopted daughter/niece and as Ammy and Fleet's sister/niece/cousin....however you defined it....the den had become her family since Gunther had left Rhydin so many months ago. She was even contributing to the den's well being with some of the proceeds of her unicorn hunting operation, well, baiting and shearing operation, to be strictly accurate about it, since no unicorns were actually harmed by the bits and samples she snipped from them while they were ensnared by her innocence and she had brought in enough small game to help fill the larders too.

But now, the idea of leaving girlhood behind, of being wife...maybe even mother....it thrilled her to the core and scared her to her toes. But she saw how Ammy and Fleet were, and now there was little Myrlene too.....had heard Street's tales of what life had been like, in some small way, with his mate and child....she wanted a family of her own too and Fen had asked and she had answered yes.

She smiled fondly, remembering how scared of her and how sweet he had been when he asked her almost seeming afraid she would reject him....him who had given up so much for her, him who she had already tried to give so much to....and it reminded her how they first met. She shook her head bemusedly at that memory...wondering how it was they had gotten from there to here?

Fen just rolled his amber eyes for the umpteenth time today. Fleet was giving him lecture after lecture on the Den structure, and where he was to begin in the hierarchy. He knew most of this knowledge already being he had 3,000 years of knowledge in his mind. The one thing not taken when Mokksha offered him back mortality was his memories.

His attention snapped back to Fleet when he didn't hear words anymore. Fleet just stared at Fen with an amused look.

"Yeah, I know. So much to absorb, but don't worry. Now that your part of the Den, you can take time to adjust. I just want you to know that your welcome here. Also, it lets the other Den members see that your mating of Mokksha is legit. Now then, do you have any Greater Den markings?" Fleet asked Fen.

Fen thought for a moment. "No. I was born before the days of branding and tattooing ones affiliations."

Fleet stood their and contemplated a few options. "Well we need to give you some identifying mark of being part of the Den. Would you prefer ring, collar, earring, tattoo, pendant, or branding?"

"Gee, hmm. Let me think about that. Painless or Painful. Hmm. I'll take either a ring, or earring. Who still wears a collar or gets branded?" Fen looked in disgust.

"Those wishing to use pain or captivity as a reminder of the freedom they have hear." Fleet sighed. "You'll get your Den markings on the night of your mating rituals."

Fleet looked at the Den's Square Clock. Dusk was arriving. He motioned Fen to follow him as he took up an easy run heading out of the Den.

Fleet sat at the Tease'n Tomes with Fen at an out door table. He was hoping that Street would arrive on time. Fen was just staring at him.

"You're wondering what we are doing here? We are waiting for Street to meet us. Ammy reminded me that well, Street is technically Mokkies father. You need to appeal to him for rights to mate her." Fleet said straight forward.

Fen looked at Fleet with concern. "I have to ask Street to mate Mokkie? He is insane some days."

"Insane or not, he is her father by adoption. Just be lucky your not talking to her first adopted father Gunther. He's a bit more rough than Street." Fleet laughed.

Fen just sighed.

"Any thoughts on how you are going to support your future family? As far as I can see, being a forest knight is not paying you anything." Fleet asked with concern.

"What is there for me to work in?" Fen asked with curiosity.

Fleet sat back and thought about that. "The Den, I am sure would have lots of help needed. Rhydin may have work postings, or you can do what Ammy and Street have been doing. Mercernary or bounty hunting."

Fen thought on that. "Well I did help Street out some when he was having that nasty bout with the Shadowlings. Maybe I should see if he needs a partner."

Street rolled to a stop by the alley way of the Tease'N Tomes. He dismounted, lit a menthol and walked up the alley. He saw Fleet and Fen sitting at a table.

He took a chair, turned it around and sat. "Okay, now, what's this all about?" Street asked.

Fleet gave Fen a glance.

"I want to mate your daughter Mokksha." Fen said in a bit of a waivery voice.

Street sat there stunned. Did he just ask to take the only daughter he had left in Rhydin? Can't be. This guy was evil, and old mentally. Why would he be craving a mate? Street stared back at Fen and lifted an eyebrow. "Why?" he asked.

"I love her deeply and truly..." Fens voice was lost in Streets mind. All he could see was him having no family left. Granted his first family was dead and Mokksha and Ammy were the closest he had to a new family. Dammit, he didn't want to lose another one.

He looked a Fen, who had stop speaking and was waiting for a response from him. What the hell was he supposed to say? I mean, he couldn't deny seeing how they were growing on each other. But if he said yes and Fen mistreated her, Gunther would never forgive Street. On the other hand, if he said no, would Fen take off with her?

He sighed and rubbed his fore head. He was never good with these things. He pulled out Topaz, his .50 cal soul eagle with is mates soul in it. He laid it on the table and shoved it to Fen.

"Pick up the gun Fen, point right at my head pull the trigger. If you love Mokkie, Topaz will know and not fire. If you don't then you'll put me out of my misery, and Mokkie can decide on her own." Street growled.

Fen lifted the gun and leveled it Streets head with shaky paws. He saw that the boy thought he was nuts. "Pull it!" He snarled.

Fen pulled the trigger and all that was heard was a click. No shot went off.

Fen felt sick to his stomach at Street's way of resolving the decision. He didn't remember much after pulling the trigger. Just the hazy memory of Street getting up and walking away with a grunt of approval. This would make his partnership in bounty hunting rockier with Street.

The next few days were a whirl wind of events. Councils, hunting, rituals, history, and injuries. Fen didn't know head from tail most of the time. He hoped he could keep up with the demands and finally wed Mokkie. He wanted that more than anything else.

These thoughts stayed in Fen's mind like a fog while he administered some medications to a patient. He was no longer a bounty hunter with Street. The marks were out there loose still, but he came close to death from a surprise attack. He and Mokkie were not wed yet and Fleet sacrificed dearly to revive Fen.

Speaking of Fleet, he looked over his shoulder and saw his Mentroa/Alphrane watching him perform the exam and treatment. Fleet didn't give the slightest indication that he was in a wheel chair with only one arm left, and his right leg partially gone. He just smiled to Fen and nodded for him to proceed.

He had promised Fleet to become his medical assistant to repay him and to learn a safer job. He had been doing well considering he had lived for 3,000 years and knew nothing about medicine.

Mokksha

Mokk pounced on her betrothed as soon as he walked in the door, knowing that if she let him pause and think about it, he would say no right away, given how strict Doctor Maranya was being lately about den members overtaxing themselves with the use of magical healing...but she just had to try to help him, to make him feel better, to protect him, to ease his way, to show how much she cared for him and everything he was doing for her and the den lately, so she just blurted out....."Fen, sweeetie......I know you and Fleet want to run the clinic in the most modern and technical ways possible.....buttt....could I help, just a little, with my touch healing...I mean only on the most resistant cases, or the ones who are afraid at first....i mean it would mostly be just holding hands......or i could train to help you, be an assistant, like the nurses doctor Maranya has in her clinic?" She kept her hold on Fen, hugging him still, while she waited for his answer.

Fen was helpless in her Mokkie power hug. He chuckled and carried her across the room. Prying her off of him as best as he could, he sat with her on the couch.

"I would be delighted for you to help me in the clinic and we could use an assistant badly. But as far as the healing with your touch goes, we would need to ask Fleet. It's his clinic hon." Fen replied honestly.

Fleet had just happened to pass through the room in his wheel chair. Ammy had did a few modifications and now it was motorized. "Ask me what?" he asked, his pale blue eyes bright with interest.

"Mokkie wants to help in the clinic either as an assistant, or with her healing touch. What do you say Fleet? We need an assistant badly." Fen stated matter of factly.

Fleet looked thoughtful for a few minutes. "We do need an assistant. As for the healing, hmm. How about this Mokkie, you help Fen and I in the clinic and we will work from there on what you can use your healing talents on? Okay?" Fleet asked Mokkie and waited.

He never thought he would be sitting on the couch while Fleet bustled around. The new robotic leg and arm Star at Riverview clinic had given him, seemed to revive the rapidly aged Lupinossi.

And here he was stuck on the couch, with a left shoulder in a sling. Why? Cause he tried to lasso his soul daughter and a pendant recoiled the attempt and slammed him into the bar.

He sighed. At least he was spending as much time with Mokkie as possible now, or trying. He kept running into former contenders for her hand in marriage and he was starting to get tired from trying not rip heads off. Though Mokkie was showing she was more than capable of doing that herself for one who was hesitant to fight.

Myrlene hopped on the couch and shattered those thoughts with a smile. Fen just chuckled, scooped up his soul daughter and gave her a hug. Mokkie should be in soon and then all three of them would go the Glenn today for a nice relaxing day.

Fen sighed under the mound of case files. The nice picnic he was planning never happened. The next day the Den and the clinic was broadsided by something he feared worse than Mokkie ever leaving him. His past had caught up with him.

Lupanecrosis, a vial virus created by him 2,500 years ago when he tried to conquer Lupinoss. It was malevolent and spread like terminal cancer. It mutated the genetics of the victim to produce neurotoxins to allow him to control a vast army of chemically mind wiped zombies. It spread by bite, blood, sneeze, breath, and any other interactions. It came in three flavors as well.

1st stage meant the victim had a lethal dose and was mind wiped in 30 minutes. It also turned the victims primal rage centers to overload. You get a nice zombie berserker that will keep on killing and spreading the virus until killed.

2nd stage was his favorite. It was a sleeper mutation. Took hours, or days to incubate, spreading virus clusters more and more through the body, then wham, they activated, wiping the mind cleanly. Sometimes the wipe was permanent, other times the victim regained sentience and would falter in and out of the zombie mode. Made perfect little puppets for him to play with.

3rd stage still frightened him. When the war did not go well, he mutated the virus to seek out deity magic and latch onto it. It would slowly suck the deity dry over time without them realizing it until the shriveled and died of rapid aging.

He shivered for a moment as he had that flash back. Now a new mutation appeared. A very rabid version of the beast he made. It drained the body of nutrients to the point of killing, attacked the mind savagely, and found a way to protect itself. He looked nauseous when he thought about it. The whole Den most likely hated him now.

Mokksha

Mokksha had stopped gossiping and joking much lately, she lacked the energy. She was too busy doing what she could do and sometimes what she shouldn't do, trying her best not to let her new family die as her birth father had done of the black fever all those years ago.

It seemed that every house in the den was struck down with at least one or more ill. It seemed she spent more time on other families couches and floors than in her own room at Ammy and Fleet's but with Myrlene quarantined with Ember she had much too much free time and needed to feel she was helping. Being human and not from this realm she had some immunity to both the physical and magical components of the plague sweeping the den, not 100% but enough that she was willing to put herself on the front lines of the battle as much as she could.

She changed the linens and bedclothes of the sick, she bathed sweat soaked faces, she cleaned up bodily fluids, she held hands, she whispered songs and nursery rhymes, learning them in lupinossi by sound without really learning their meaning yet, knowing the sounds alone would comfort those whose minds were weak and memories failing, as the sounds recalled the earliest and oldest memories they possesed.

And when she nursed them she also used her gift, she poured her healing energy into those she touched, healthy, ill, young, old, male, female.....it didn't matter...she would rather give all of herself and die of exhaustion than let this disease that Fen had created, thousands of years ago, in another lifetime, back when he had been evil, before she had bartered part of her soul with Kali to redeem him, that he somehow believed he had caused to infect the den simply by his very existence, claim one single life if she could prevent it. It left her shaken and exhausted every time she did it and she knew Ammy and Fleet and doctor Maranya said she risked exhausting herself and getting sick to do it, but she felt it was the only thing she could really do to help, so she did and tried to keep her secret to herself.

For one single moment she paused by herself walking with an armload of linens to the laundry, behind a small stand of trees on one of the den's side streets, whispering to herself half a prayer half a self lecture, "oh Fen....i love you so......i hope you get the chance to one day understand that no one blames the now you for what the then you did....i certainly don't.....and if i live through this.... no....when i live through this....i will stand by you, no matter what."

Sighing tiredly she muttered aloud, forgetting that even though she was alone she might not be unobserved, "Maybe I should invoke *her*, she was willing to save Fen for enough blood and pain...maybe if i hurt myself and bleed myself and then call her....maybe she will save the den........maybe......but where.....where could i find the place and time to do it and not get found out.....and what would they say if i did.....could they stand being saved by *her*, they think she is as bad as Fen used to be.......oh gods and goddesses...i don't know what to do.......i wish i could just be with Fen or even StreetDa.....they always know how to set me right.....but they are both so busy and troubled and tired......i have to figure this out for myself." And so she walked on a deeply pensive look on her face, tired and silent once again.

Through out one of the busier days of the plague, Fen path managed to run across Mokksha's path. The impact may have been comedic if it was rehearsed. Files and linens went every direction as they collided. Fen poked a nose from under an unfolded sheet trying to see who he had ran into. He saw Mokki trying to pick everything up.

He got up quickly and helped refold the linens, brush them off, and picked up his records. Then he took the linens from Mokki's arms. "Let me give a hand love." He tried to smile and indicated with a head tilt he would follow her.

A closer look would show his eyes were a bit deeper amber from crying. He seemed he cried often in his new found life. Something he wasn't for sure is he liked or hated. He followed Mokki with supplies in his arms, glad for break from the chaos.

Fen Stridar

Date: 2009-04-03 20:08 EST
Fen stood on a pebbled beach in the Southern Glen. The moonlight threw arcane silver everywhere. He was dressed in jeans, a leather vest, and was walking with Mokki. His mind was not with him though. So much had happened at the Den the past week, that he could hardly grasp it. He even felt he had slipped into darkness again once.

The Den was safe once again. The virus was gone, and Fleet was scouring everything for a 3rd to be sure. Soon they would be allowed back to live in a community again. Until then, the Bi-Duran was home for 280 Lupes. Yes, they had lost a portion of their race on Rhydin due to the virus and overthrow of the Healers Guild. Fen sighed and shook his head clear.

"What's wrong Fen?" Mokki's voice sliced through his memories and brought clarity to his mind.

He looked down to her with amber eyes and just smiled. "Just thinking about this last week and the things that we have been through. But your voice, bless you, brings me back to the lighter side of things."

The walked the pebble beach finally having the not-picnic picnic Fen promised before the whole virus mess happened. It was just the two of them now in the Glenn. The moon would hold their secrets and lend its magic to their hearts should they will it.

As they walked, Fen slid a paw into a jean pocket and pulled out a rounded box. He kept it hidden in his shadow for a bit form Mokki's sight. As they reached a rock outcropping that bathed is silver reflections from the water, he stepped up on the rock and pulled her up with him. He just grinned at her puzzled look and gasp as he pulled her up.

He walked them up to the edge of the rock shelf. The water rippled in moon magic below them. He turned and stepped back slightly. The moon burned bright in his eyes, and the honey high lights of his fur burned white. His paw held out a black box that seamed to soak all of the light out of the night. He opened it for Mokkie and held it up for to look at.

The box held a ring on a silvery satin pillow. The ring was of pure silver, twined with gold. It held 3 small black pearls clustered around a small soul gem. It winked in the moonlight with a warm amber light. Beside the ring was an earring with matching capture bead of black pearl and a small winking soul gem. They glowed in the light.

"I know we are not wed yet, and these are not meant as official binding jewelry, but I thought you would love to have a piece of my soul with you. The earring is for me to wear. The will glow solidly when we are together, and wink and pulse while we are apart. To let us know that each other is loved and thought of." He smiled to her.

Mokksha

Date: 2009-04-05 04:47 EST
"Oh Fen! It is so lovely, so beautiful! I will wear it with pride and honor and love!"

Mokksha grabbed her beloved and kissed him for all she was worth and then some, nearly toppling them both off of the rock outcropping with her enthusiasm.

But then, she pulled back suddenly, looking confused and blurted, "Fen, it isn't fair that I should have a piece of your soul to carry with me and you have none of mine to go with you. Is there not some way that I could give you a soul gem of me to have?"

She looked at her fiance with hope in her gaze, for to her the sun rose and set in his eyes and the world turned with his heartbeat and all fear was banished by his embrace, so in her mind, this question, this request, was as reasonable and sensible as asking him to pair her in a dance, though she had no idea how complicated the steps might be for this measure nor how complex the tune might be for this alchemyic composition.

Fen Stridar

Date: 2009-04-06 19:46 EST
Fens eye lit up with the moonlight, and he simply smiled.

"I could have a small portion of your transferred to the earring in place of mine. One moment." He removed the earring in his large paws with such agility and deftness.

He reached into a pocket and pulled out a small dress makers pin, and began making very minute, intricate runes on the tiny pearl sized soul gem. Once done, he tossed the pin into the lake. The lake glowed even brighter as the pin dispelled the natural soul magic Fen put into it.

"Put out your hand Mokki, and cup the earring when I let it go." Fen instructed softly.

Mokki showed a little hesitation, but did as he asked. He let the earring fall into her cupped hands.

"Now all you have to do is say you wish your heart and soul close to the one you love, and the earring will charge itself with a bit of your soul." He said softly again and just waited for her to speak the words.

Mokksha

Date: 2009-04-09 00:00 EST
Mokk cupped the jewel in her hand, smiling that it was still warm from Fen's body heat and stood tiptoe to kiss him softly before she wrapped her fingers tightly around the pearl sized gem and murmured with her whole heart, "I wish my heart and soul close to the one I love, always." The enchanted jewel flared to life, absorbing her essence, her heart, her mind, her will, her soul, everything about her that was not flesh, and imbued a small portion of it into an alchemical reservoir inside itself, glowing with power and life and magic as she handed it back to her beloved with a warm and gentle smile. "Now we will always be together, my beloved, no matter what."

Fen Stridar

Date: 2009-04-13 00:22 EST
He grinned again in the moonlight. He took the earring from her cupped hands, and swapped out one of his earrings for it. It glowed bright and solid with the light of Mokksha's soul.

Carefully taking the ring out of the box, a solid light from his own soul, he gently slipped it over her ring finger.

"Mokksha, my love, my light, my breath. We may be of two different species, yet our love is the spanning bridge for that gap. I loved you since the day I a tried to kidnap you as Fleetwolf. I never realized you would bring the good out in me. I am eternally grateful for that. With this ring, my heart, and soul, I ask your hand in marriage. To be my mate through the troubled sea of life. To be the captain of my soul, and the anchor of my mind. Will you Mokksha, take me to be yours?"

His voice was starting to waver from nervousness and emotions. He was getting close to tears. Tears of happiness or sorrow? Who knew. He held his breath, waiting for her answer to come in to the harbor of his troubled life.

Fen Stridar

Date: 2009-04-19 18:09 EST
He just laughed as Mokki stood there stunned in silence. He wrapped his furry arms around her and walked her off of the shelf of rock.

"Now then, how about we talk to Fleet tomorrow and set our wedding date, then go find a spot to build a house?" He asked her in the moon light.

Mokksha

Date: 2009-04-19 18:37 EST
First she forgot how to breathe, then talk, then think up the right words to answer with.... it was all she could do to nod her head up and down, up and down, up and down as tears of joy poured down her face. She wrapped her arms around Fen tightly, kissing his cheeks, his nose, his mouth and anyplace else on his muzzle or face she could reach. She finally managed to get out some kind of an answer and it was not a girlish or bubbling tone that she spoke with, but an earnest and intent tone, almost solemn in its' intensity. "Yes, Fen, the answer is always yes."

Fleet sat in his rocking chair in the living room and stared at the two before him. It was a calm day in the clinic. A rare one where no one seemed ill or injured. He took this as a good omen to focus on Mokki and Fen's request.

"Have you figured out a date for when you wish to be wed?" He noted they still looked at each other. Apparently not quite yet. He just smiled.

"Well two things are coming up you may want to consider. The human celebration of Beltane, and the our annual Soulstra celebration of Lupinoss. It may be busy, but a wedding during those two time may prove to be quite festive and wonderful for you both."

He smiled again as he watched them exchange glances, speaking in the old tongue of couples.

"As to a house for you and Mokki, that can be easily arranged. Pick a location, and I will raise one for you." he smiled and clicked claws together.

"I am glad to see you two have survived the long probation period with the chaos that has happened. Your love is even stronger now, and I doubt either of you wonder if you are both right for each other. I can not wait to see you two happy together and have little ones to spoil for you." he grinned.

"Now then, let me know where you want your house and when you want to be married and I will make it so."

Fen Stridar

Fleet looked like he was about to bolt for the door. Fen and mokkie did cross fire on all the ideas bottled up until now.

Should we make it open to all Fen?" Mokki asked.

"Sure, why not. A good mingling experience for the Den. Where should we have it?" Fen fired off the next volley.

Mokkie tapped her forehead. "Inside or outside? The Great Hall would work for an inside wedding. The Twilight Islands or the Southern Glenn would work for an outside wedding." she offered.

Fen mulled this over. He looked to Fleet, and the Alphrans just held up a paw stating this was not his decision.

"Let's make it the Southern Glenn. It's been my home so much until our meeting. I'll feel more comfy there." He replied a little shaky.

"Lets have it Saturday, okay?" Mokkie nodded in agreement.

"What about wedding rituals? I want to do my ritual dance for you, and I have some lovely vows to say."

"So do I love. And.." he looks to Fleet. "I want traditional Lupinossai vows as well at the end to make it right in our deities eyes. Any objection to that Alphrans?"

"None at all." Fleet was jotting notes like mad.

"I'll have Street Wolf, and Ember Pallin as my honor guard." Fen stated firmly.

"I'll take Ammy and Myrlene and Sari as my honor guard. I want Myrlene to be the flower pup." Mokki said in glee.

Fleet just smiled and jotted more notes. "Ammy will be doing a ritual chant to cleanse your wedding before it starts. Oh, and have settled on ritual jewelry?"

"Yes, we have. We want Ammy to make them. A platinum bracer for me, a platinum bracelet and ring for Mokki. We want each inscribed with: With the blessing of Canis and Lupis, this is a marriage of equals." Fen instructed Fleet.

"I love it Fen. Very nice touch. Okay, honor guard done. Local done. Three sets of vows to be done and location and time set. Great. Oh, and one more thing Fen. Your to be heralded with honor and deeds done before public. You will basically be up for the public to say if you are worthy of her. I am sure you will do fine."

Fen gulped at that a bit and just grinned shakily. "Let's hope." he then looked to Mokki.

"Well love, in a few days, we are one." he smiled and held her hands.

Ammy Spiritor

Date: 2009-04-22 01:21 EST
She enjoyed the calm day at the clinic. It allowed her to work on something creative. Something with metal. She was good at manipulating metal with her now reduced alchemy powers.

Today was a special day. Fen and Mokki were finishing the arrangements for the wedding this saturday and her task, among many for the ceremony, was crafting the jewelry they would wear for eternity. She carried a flat wood tray with both paws. 5 bars of platinum gleamed in the afternoon light.

Ammy left her lab and walked into the living room to where Fen, Mokki, and Fleet were hammering things out. She set the wood tray on the dining room table, amongst medical charts, instruments, and pens. Taking a seat, she smiled to everyone and waited for the conversation to come to an end. When it did, she looked to Fen and Mokkie.

She began chalking out alchemy arrays on the wood tray around the bars of platinum and spoke.

"I need to see your left forearm Fen, and your left wrist Mokki. I am going to make the bracer and the bracelet to fit you both like a glove."

She smiled and as they both presented their left arms. "It may feel a little warm, but it wont burn. Is there an inscription as well?"

Her emerald eyes looked down to see Fleet sliding a post it note to her. She read the inscription, smiled, and scrawled the words in Lupinossi glyphs inside the upper part of the array. That done, she touched her left, metal paw to one array and 2 bars of platinum melted into a puddle and rose in the air taking on the shape of a weightless sphere of water.

Her normal paw reached out and grasped Mokkis left hand gently, and her left metal paw gently took pawfuls of molten platinum and began working it around Mokki's left wrist. Once enough was around her wrist, she use both paws to work the metal, nodding as Mokki noted what she wanted. Soon the bracelet, with a clever clasp in the form of paw into human hand, was finished and gleamed in the light. Ammy took a small glob, stretched it thin, twisted it softly and formed a beautiful ring around Mokkies ring finger. Another long strand was weaved and two chains flowed from either side of the bracelet to attach to a single point on the top of the ring. Once done, Lupesh glyphs glowed to life on top of the bracelet, and once the glow vanished, beautifully etched glyphs were left behind.

She let Mokki get used to the weight and feel and let her decide if anything needed to be changed or altered. She turned to Fen and his bared, furred left forearm. Her left metal paw touched the other array, and the last 3 bars of platinum melted. The new globe of metal rose to mingle what was left of the last 2 bars melted, that hung in the air. She scooped metal into her paws and began sculpting a bracer for Fen. It started out smooth at the wrist, then flowed into fur, scale, tooth, and claw, a wolf standing on hind legs to the left of the bracer, was mirrored by a guarding dragon on the right. The clasps were just like Mokkis, a series of three paws sliding into human hands keeping the bracer in securely on his arm. The Lupesh glyphs flared to life on a scroll the wolf and dragon held embracing them.

Again, she let Fen just like Mokki try out the weight, feel, and look. She sat back, smiled, and reached for a glass of juice. Her power drained her even if it was her affinitive metal. She relaxed and waited for their verdict on her craftsmen ship.

Mokki watched the formation of the bracelet and ring combination and the bracer for Fen with eyes widened by awe.

"Ammy, they are the most lovely things I have ever seen. I am honored and touched to the core of my heart that you would make such lovely things for us. Once Fen and I are bound to each other at the ceremony, I will never take it off again, ever!"

Turning to her beloved she chirruped happily, "Now we will have not just our soul gems but our wedding bandings to show the world we are become one!"

She was so overcome with emotion that the pounced on Fen for a huge kiss and a hug right then in front of everyone.

Fen Stridar

He didn't have a chance to tell Ammy he loved the bracer. He was on the carpet under a pile of Mokkie, and getting one hell of a kiss. He could here Fleet and Ammy laugh from the table. He returned the kiss just as fiercely and gave Mokki a big hug. Yes, life was going to be great.

Fen Stridar

Date: 2009-04-29 00:52 EST
Fen woke up, in a bed. He blinked a bit. He was in a bed, with sheets, and not on a couch. What was more surprising was the sound of soft breathing behind him. He turned on his right side and gazed upon Mokkies sleeping form.

A long smile touched his muzzle. His amber eyes took in her form, his paw brushed her long black hair gently to keep from waking her. The wedding wasn't a very long one, but the energy, the joy, nervousness, and stress made them tired, but returning to a house of their own, alone, revitalized them.

That was a night of exploration, nervousness, joy, and wonder. Of course a parchment on the bed left by a certain white female lupe to be unnamed, was a very detailed map on the whole mating process and instructions as to what went where.

Fen slipped out of bed to keep from waking Mokkie and stretched. He walked out of the bedroom, still not familiar with the new house and made his way to the living room. He looked at the pile of wedding gifts and chuckled. He would wait till Mokkie woke before they celebrated the wedding christmas.

One item did catch his attention. A very familiar object. A time capture soul gem, ornate, and gilded in platinum, lay on the coffee table. He smiled and picked it up. It flared to life and he watched the wedding day replay itself in his mind.

Mokksha: ::::::the bride to be walked slowly and sedately down the path to the glen, her wedding finery shades of red and pink and coral and ocher in the tradition of her mother's people, her hands full of wildflowers in the tradition of her father's people::::

Fleetwolf: Blue haze appears like a pool on the grass near the lake. The moon rides high in glory. Fleet ascends, gray fur touched in silver light, decked in Lupinossai ceremonial garb. Den Wolf insignia and crests adorn his hair, sash, and, robing.

ThorneFang: ::hmphs and shakes his fur out as he reopens his eyes, finally done with that other business occupying his mind, he hrms and looks about from under the tree's shade, seeing the population here has grown quite a bit::

CherubicMagic: Even without the hefty, pregnant rays of RhyDin's two moons upon her, the familiar form of the Fiery Buxom was hard to miss as she ambled upon jonty, bonny footsteps down the cool, rushing line of the Glen. Petal skirts swished through the tall grasses, sounding very much like a swaying breeze rushing invisible fingers through the earthy filigree of green growth. A gentle chime accompanied the witchy gypsie's step, tonight it seemed she'd added a bit more decoration to her already vibrant ->

Fleetwolf: He looked around and grinned. The Glenn was beautiful tonight, but not quite ready for a wedding yet. His paws glowed an eirie silver and pure crystal poles errupted from the ground. The topped at 6 ft, and glowed a soft white light that illuminated but did not blind. A wave of the paw and a strip of grass, 6ft wide by 100 ft long shifted to crimson carpet. Wiggling fingers, chairs and benches errupted from the ground.

Mokksha: ::::the bride finally reached the end of the winding path she had chosen to take to the glen, but stayed just outside the glen proper, it wouldn't do for the groom to see her too soon, so she drew the corner of her sari veil over her head and over her face, just in case:::

CherubicMagic: presence, it was a wedding tonight afterall, one she'd extended a hand in aid to for extra protection for the soon-to-be-handfasted lovers. Seeing the roiling fields that extended to the lakeside fairly empty, molten amber eyes scanned closely, wondering if she'd arrived too early to catch the bulk of the wedding party. Ah! But there, the eruption of event necessities from seemingly nothing, those fiery eyes scanned anew, spotting <Fleet>'s casting form. Her face was bright with merriment,->

CherubicMagic: molten hues sparkling with excitement at the prospect of other magic users in attendance.

Fleetwolf: The seating and carpet tended to, and ample light now available, he turned
to the lake. Paws glowing green now, he took the outcropping of rock that Fen had proposed to Mokki on and shifted it slightly. He flattened the shelf, widened it and made a circular 12ft dias ou of it. The dias had the emblem of Lupinoss, a snarling wolf ringed in spikes on it. He let it flow until it touched the carpet. Smooth steps cascaded down like a waterfall.

Kaijuchan: :: Up from the depths of the lake by the lupe villiage came non other then Gilly. A roar just because it sounded like a cool thing to do escaped her lips before she made her way towards the den.::

ThorneFang: ::flicks his wings quietly as he watches Fleet perform, nodding a bit to himself, resting comfortably on his belly as the scene unfolds berfore him. He figures there's a ceremony of some sort to be performed here, and for now he stays off to the side, prefering to simply observe for now::

Mokksha: :::a giggle escaped the bride's lips at her friend's announcement of her arrival:::

CherubicMagic: "Jus' beautiful... Such a weilder, such a lovely craft." The flame kissed gypsy gave credit where it was due, and if she were like her much older, more ancient Sisters, she'd tip a pointed hat to him. No hat here though, so she settled for an appreciative nod and a fold of her soft pale arms over the plump nature of her bosom.

Fleetwolf: That done, he mounted the steps and turn. He looked over the sitting area, and raised tables with food behind the area. Decorations and streamers appeared here and there. The details finished. He lowered his paws and rested. He looked like an old god bathed in moonlight. One touched by war. Now he waited.

Ammy Spiritor: Ammy reached the end of the path that Mokki chose for her bridal entry. She was decked in flowing white Alchemical robes not seen in a millenia. Gold and Silver glyphs glowed in the night. She wore her den emblems of Spirritor, and of Den Wolf, as her mate was Fleet. She saw Mokki and grinned. "Nervous?"

CherubicMagic: For the moment, the Fiery Buxom was content with staying off to the side of the lovely array of decor <Fleet> had created, she hovered, a benevolent, bright flared force of power with ancient, deep seeded roots. While Lilli was no god or mage, her witchy nature was nothing to dismiss, and most definitely something to shake a stick at; and heartily! She had been responsible for the pure glow about the grounds of the Glen, having been by earlier in the week to cast protection across the already ->

alicia long: :: She pulls up to the outpost and shows off her invite before parking and heading towards the gathering.::

Mokksha: ::Mokki pulled the veil away from her face to murmur:::: i keep thinking i will forget the vows.

CherubicMagic: naturally enchanted Glen due to a deal she and the Blushing-Bride-To-Be had struck.

Myrlene Wolf-Spiritor: Myrlene popped from around Ammy. She was in her crimson jedi robe, all groomed, hair in pony tail and set in place with den symbols as well. She held a basket full of wild rose petals.

Dulcimer: *entered into the glade, keeping to the shadow of a tree, covered head to toe in her traditioanl arab purka. The green of the fab ric matched almost perfectly with the spring background of the folliage, and would almost render her undetectable, if not for the clear swish of the fabric in the wind.

Kaijuchan: :: And she would march through the outpost. A wave to all she knew before taking a seat.::

Mokksha: :::she bent down and smooched Myrlene on the cheeck:::: you look lovely, my flower pup!

Ammy Spiritor: "You'll remember them Mokkie." she presented Fens bracer for one last inspection. "I will hand you this at the end of the vows for the exchange."

Mokksha: :::a whisper to her honor guardian Ammy::: what do i do if he says no???? :::a sudden horrified thought:::

Mokksha: :::she held the bracer tightly in her hands as she looked it over intently::: it is as lovely as the day you crafted it, ammy.

Ember Pallin: He arrived in calmness. Black cloak, for ceremonies sparked with embedded diamond dust. His house of Jedi Order firmly displayed in silver. Ember walked the arranged path for the groom and waited. Boots polished. Light saber gleaming on display. His gray eyes glinted and waited for Fen to show up.

ArmoredKaiju: :: And here came Angy Lass. Dressed in a blue evening dress. Cut low enough to show off assets. Hell she might find a mate here to! :: Plodding along on all fours into the Den. Snifffing around and looking for the food of course, but not before moving up to the bride to be and giving her a hug before lowering back to all fours and moving towards Gilly to take a seat next to her.::

ThorneFang: ::tilts his head to the side, rather surprised at the lupine population, it's grown since he last visited these lands. He smiles a bit over his muzzle as he continues to observe, perhaps it wasn't such a bad idea to return to old stomping grounds, an odd mix of folk here in his opinion, but he's seen stranger::

Mokksha: :::the wildflowers she had gathered for her bouqet were tucked in the crook of her elbow while she held the bracer, before handing it back to Ammy and then restoring the end of her wedding sari to it's position as veil:::

CherubicMagic: She didn't mean to be impolite in the slightest, but Lilliana simply could not stay for the blessed event about to take place. The Fiery Buxom had just popped in to make sure her spells and wards had done their job; and they had, far as she could tell. Spying the bride party near the tree line before the sweeping spread of the Glen, those merry feet bounced the plump witch over to the nervous Mokksha before this whole thing could get rolling and she was actually interupting.

Fen Stridar: Fen walked the path. Glinting Green Scale armor, Pollished leather straps, and his golem slayer strapped and peace bonded on his back. His amber eys glowed with magic. His platinum hair was pulled back in a que. He wore no Den symbols as he came before a time of the Great Dens. He reached the waiting Ember, and smiled.

Mokksha: :::she had hugged Angy tightly before watching her join gilly and now she turned to the red headed lady approaching her::

CherubicMagic: A pale set of digits wiggled as a harold towards the pretty Mokk, all smiles and pretty, sparkling, molten eyes. "Evenin' darlin'! Just stopped by to wish you the deepest of loves and the sweetest of lives with yer' bonny man.. M'sorry I can' stay for it all, unfortunately somethin' demands my attention of the highest degree." It was a truth, the plain manner of it was written on her kindly features. "The wards have held, and my blessings will stay here with whatever other deities are watchin'->

Ammy Spiritor: "He won't say no Mokki. Just breathe and you'll be fine." she moved to the end of the path and watched for the signal. "Myrlen you follow when dad signals okay."

Myrlene Wolf-Spiritor: "Yes mom. I'll keep Mokki safe."

CherubicMagic: over ya' and yer' family this evenin'. Many blessings to ya', may ya' both have fine, healthy children!"

Mokksha: :::she nodded at Ammy, looked at Lilli and murmured::: thank you for your blessings kind lady lili, i hope you are all well you and those you go to attend to, fare you all well.

XvMoravX: :: Soft singing could be heard as the moth anthro slowly decended from the heavens. Clutched within her four hands was a present. Landing infront of Mokkies and ammy.:: where do i put the gifts?

Mokksha: :::and then she took a deep deep breath to steady her nerves::

Ammy Spiritor: "On one of the tables with food." she said politely.

Kaijuchan: :: She gave Angy Lass a hug and looked about.:: Mokkies is getting married. How nice eh?

Fleetwolf: Looked out at the gathering crowd. The Lupes from the Den were starting to filter in. A lot of oohs, ahhs and children pointing at the Rhydians. There first time to see outsider. He smiled. Soon it would be time to start. He closed his glowing blue eyes and breathed deep.

ArmoredKaiju: Crap i forgot to bring my gift! :: And she would quickly begin to burrow into the earth and dissapear.::

Fen Stridar: His armor rattled a little. He looked very nervous and was panting a bit.

Kaijuchan: :: She chuckled some and looked to her sack. Yeah she had a mess of gifts in there. Treasures from the depths.::

CherubicMagic: Not without a gift herself, the clever witchling opened a palm towards the delicate Mokk, her features softening. "And here... a partin' gift fer' the both of ya'."

Ember Pallin: Ember reached out and touched him. He sent calming energy into him. "Relax Fen. You're marrying a fine woman. She will bring peace to you." smiled reassuringly.

Dulcimer: Watched everything with a soft smile under her Purka. This was fun, attending a happy event, something she didn't often get to do.

XvMoravX: Thank you. :: A peck to mokkies cheeck.:: You look absolutly radiant. A blushing bride indeed! :: And she would move to the food table and set her gift down.::

Mokksha: :::she smiled nervously at Myrlene and took a moment to smooth one hand over her long, unbound, dark hair, the last time she would wear it so as a maiden, her seachange eyes were shifting colors with her high emotions, the color in her cheeks was high and her skin was pale, yet luminous, bare of any mehindi or tattoos, courtsey of make up and magic, her bridal sari a mix of red and pink and ocher, the wildflowers she held, the only sign of her nerves as they shook slightly:::

CherubicMagic: It was small, not much bigger than a river worn pebble. But it shone with an amber brilliance that spoke of deep rooted spell work and long hours craft. It swirled, the colored depths, and the fiery buxom explained swiftly, seeing her time was running out before she held things up herself. "It's a gift, linking ya' to yer' lover. Should on be without the other, lost or taken, one of ya' has but to lay yer' lips against it, picture yer' love, and their location shall be clear to ya'. Nothin' ->

Ammy Spiritor: A messenger Lupe padded up to Ammy and handed her a message. The Lupe gave well wishes and rushed off to sit with her family. Ammy read it, then closed the message. She turned to Mokkie. "Sari and Street will not make it tonight. We will have to go on without them. Something has come up." she smiled to hide her frown. She didn't tell her that Sari was kidnapped.

CherubicMagic: can break the bonds of love, so nothing shall break this clever charm of mine." A firm nod given, the pretty, moon faced gypsy witch dropped the swirling amber stone into Mokksha's hand, a little wiggle of friendly fingers then given to the bride and her ladies in attendance.

Mokksha: :::Mokki blinked in startlement, taking the gift and hearing the news that her adopted da and his lady would not be attending with simultanous confusion::

Myrlene Wolf-Spiritor: Hummed to herself wating for the signal. She looked at the flower petals and smiled to herself.

Fleetwolf: He opened his eyes and saw a messenger Lupe mount the dias and bow to him. She gave him a message, and left to find a seat with kin. He opened it, read it, and made the message disappear. He reached out to Ember's mind. *Street will not be here. Something dire has come up. Don't wait for him.*

CherubicMagic: "Blessed be yer' night, pretty Mokksha... Remember, the charm holds with the love ya' and yer' groom share. So the years between ya' make yer' love stonger, so shall the power of this handy bit of spell work." With a final wave and a knowing wink of those molten amber eyes(funnily enough resembling the color of the minutely sized gift), and the witchy lass was off into the night, matte leathers tapping swiftly upon the grass.

Ember Pallin: Blinked as he felt Fleet push through his barriers and speak with him. He nodded slightly to himself. "Well Fen, I am it for you Honor Guard. How are you feeling?"

Fen Stridar: Blinked at hearing Streets absence and just nodded. "I am feeling better."

Mokksha: :::she tucked the stone in a fold of her sari, considering the words being spoken to her and looked thoughtful::

LadyAjaBird: ::strolls out to the Glen quietly in case she's late and the ceremony has started::

Mokksha: :::she wondered if perhaps her adopted da's lady had taken ill again, and that was why they could not be here, she hoped that was not the case, because she dearly loved her adopted da and wanted to harm to him or his lady::

Ammy Spiritor: Tenses a little. Fleet looked to be readying the welcome address. "Your uniting is about to begin Mokkie." She smiled and saw the worry. "Relax Mokkie. Street will take care of it." she winked.

Mokksha: :::she then checked her veil once more, got a better grip on the wildflowers she held, and smiled reassuringly down at Myrlene her flower pup::

XvMoravX: :: She took a seat with her fellow kaiju. Legs cross as she waits.::

Myrlene Wolf-Spiritor: "You'll be great Mokki. I like it when you dance." she grinned.

Fleetwolf: Looked out to the croud and smiled. He prepped himself.

Mokksha: :::she smiled at Myrlene and murmured::: thank you for saying so, my little love.

Dulcimer: Kept leaning against her tree that she had spoken for as her standing spot. The green fabric of her purka fluttering lighty in the breeze as she peered out the little veiled window.

LadyAjaBird: ::stands quietly watching the on goings::

Fleetwolf: In a clear voice, well articulated in Common, then translated in Lupesh, Fleet spoke. "Evening to one and all. Welcome to the Ceremony of Tying, or the Ritual of Binding, or the Wedding of Fen Stridar and Mokksha. I am Fleetian, Elder of Ceremonis for the Rhydinian Den. We come together for a wonderful, and first union of Lupinossi and Human."

Mokksha: :::she wondered if all brides felt as if they might throw up just before the event began, or if something pecular to her was happeneing:::

Maranya Valkonan: ::She moves into the glen, trying to keep the volume of her sneezing down, and heads for Aja::

Fleetwolf: The lupes stopped talking and all turned to their cherrished Alprans.

Fleetwolf: "Some here today may see this as disgusting, others may see this as honorable. Either way, I ask that all keep in harmony of joy today that these two be wed in peace. Without further ado, let the wedding begin." He raised a paw and ray of blue flew up and exploded like fireworks. Symbols of chanting appeared.

Ember Pallin: "Well Fen. We're starting."

Fen Stridar: A long gulp.

Mokksha: :::she took a deep breath and felt better and knew it was just nerves and that all would be well, if she could just remember her vows::

Ammy Spiritor: That was her signal. Ammy strode down the path alone, moonlight touching her white alchemy robes and set the silver and gold glyphs ablaze. She began to chant a song. ((Think of Blackmore's Night's female singer. That is Ammy's Voice.))

Ammy Spiritor: "I call upon the North winds of the Tallon range, lend us your cooling breeze to blow away animosity. I call upon the South winds of the Trinity lakes to breathe life into the ceremony were are about to partake. I call upon the ever winding Snake, East that nevers meets the West, the West that never meets the East to bind the two to come in lasting unity. To the Glen of Enlighenment, I beseech the Elders, lend us your feathered ears, hold us in your hearts, and breath you blessings on the love and joining of flesh and fur this day. In the love, unity, power, and communal spirit, this ceremony, this place, be cleansed. Let the tying ceremony commence!"

ArmoredKaiju: :: Soon she bursts through the earth where gilly was. Remarkably her dress did not have an ounce of dirt on it. Pulling out a present from the hole before it collapsed and she took a seat between gilly and mora. Watching intently.::

Ammy Spiritor: She finished the chant, she glowed blue and silver. She stopped at the dias and waited.

Mokksha: ::::from behind her veil she stared at Ammy's transformation and listened to her singing in awe:::

Fleetwolf: Smiled as Ammy recited the chank flawlessly. Just behind Fleet, a green glow appeared. Two figures stepped out. Both appeared to be perfect, high quality breeding of the Lupes seen. All the Lupes gasped and bowed on knee. Fleet smiled more and turned. He then knelt and bowed. "I am honored great sire and dam, for attending the union. We accept your attendance and blessings, Lupis and Canis, Grand Elder's and Deities of Lupinoss."

Mokksha: :::Mokkie put one hand on Myrlene's shoulder and knelt down in a bow herself, partly from respect, and partly because her knees were suddenly weak:::

Fleetwolf: *Rise great grandson, and proceed.* Lupis spoke in a rumbling low voice. His fur was pure black and his eyes and hair platinum. He took his mate Canis, in her cream fur and azure eyes and hair and stepped to one side to watch. Fleet rose and turned. "Our grand elders bless us this night. Every Lupe, you may sit."

Maranya Valkonan: ::She stifles her sneezing as best she can, but a few soft achoos escape from time to time::

LadyAjaBird: ::curious brow perk at Anya::

Ammy Spiritor: Ammy remained bowed to the Elders for a moment, then she stood and clapped her paws together. Red shot out into the nite, another fireworks display of runes. One's symbolizing the male.

Maranya Valkonan: ::Sheepish look Aja's way, still softly sneezing from time to time::

Mokksha: :::rises from her bow also and looks at Myrlene reassuringly, no she is not going to faint, no she isn't!:::

Mokksha: ::::she takes deep calming breaths as she waits to follow Myrlene down the path:::

Ember Pallin: Ember Palling grinned, breathed once and did a measured step out of the trail. In time to an unkown marching tune, he pulled his light saber out, lit the lavender blade, and proceeded to execute a well timed and fluid dance of light and death. He ended in a forward twisting summersault, landing on one knee, extinguishing blade, the stood to the side. "I present, Fen Stridar, Grandson of Lupis, Son of Stridar, mate to be."

Fen Stridar: Fen's boots muffled and chirped as he walked down the red carpet. The lighting and glowing of the moon and crystal columns set his mettal green armor into a dazzling array of green rainbows. He reached the end of the carpet and stopped.

Kaijuchan: :: She smiled and whiped her eyes abit.::

Fleetwolf: Fleet kept from laughing as he saw Fen stop at the edge of the carpet. "Come on up Fen of Stridar. Your not done with your walk."

ArmoredKaiju: :: She watched intently. Her tail swished now and then.::

Fen Stridar: Mounted the steps and stopped by Fleet.

Fleetwolf: He gently spun Fen around. "I present before all witnesses Fen Stridar. His valor and deeds are as such: Ending the war of the Den against the Ebon KnightFaithfully protecting all Lupes crossing the Southern Glen Leaving violence for healing lifeHelping end the Lupanecrosis PlagueCountless acts of healing and care in the Whisper Paws ClinicFen Stridar, 1st born son, of Stridar, who is the second born son of Lupis our holy one. Do you, as witnesses, find him of honor to wed and unite with Mokksha of Kyshatrias?" he awaited the crowds reply.

Maranya Valkonan: I find him of honor.

Fen Stridar: Stiffened his legs to keep his armor from rattling.

XvMoravX: I find him of honor

ArmoredKaiju: I find him of honor

Maranya Valkonan: ::Muffling another series of soft sneezes::

Dulcimer: I find him of honor. *came her singsong reply*

LadyAjaBird: I find him of honor

Kaijuchan: i find him of honor

Fleetwolf: The Lupes howled in sing song reply. "In honor we find him."

Mokksha: ::::she beamed behind her veil as the witnesses acclaimed her groom's honor and suitability to marry her::

LordTravanix: ::The chill was there, the darkness within - the black uniformed figure stood just off the path of the glenn, listening quietly. Arms folded behind him, pulling his tunic back.::

Fleetwolf: Canis stepped forward to Fen and laid her paw on his shoulder. *I no longer find darkness in you my child. I bless thee to mary this woman.* She stepped back and Lupis approached. *You, my grand sire, are worthy of carrying on a den of your own. Go with my blessing and strength.* he tapped Fens breastplate and stood back.

Mokksha: :::the glen was warded, she was warded and four major deities of Lupinoss stood on the dias, she felt only the nerves a bride would feel:::

Fleetwolf: Fleet nodded once. "The witnesses find him of honor. Fen, stand on the steps and watch to the south." He raised paw skyward once more. Brillian lavender arced into the sky. The patterns made, were the patterns of Mokki's tattoos.

LordTravanix: ::In the clasp of one hand was a special coin with a cut out hole. It was thicker than a standard coin, but there were writings engraved upon it.::

Mokksha: :::she gasped and blushed and wiped at her cheeks and forehead hastily, so that less of her make up obscured her tattoos:::

Myrlene Wolf-Spiritor: "Tiime to go Mokki." she whispered. She walked out of the path, and every step taken, glowing flower petals showered down. She kept up a smooth pace to allow Mokki ample room to dance. She stopped by mom. and waited. Her task done.

Maranya Valkonan: ::She smiled fondly, watching Myrlene do her part for the wedding::

Fen Stridar: Fen stepped down and wathched Myrlene throw out the petals. He waited for his love to approach.

Dulcimer: Watched the necomer out of the corner of the eyeholes in her purka, her head slighty turned to be able to see him better from her vantage point under her shadowed tree.

LordTravanix: ::It tingled lightly in his hand, as if there were live energy passing across its surface. Quietly, skillfully he moved towards the edge denoted. ::

Ember Pallin: Stood and stepped to the side. His gray eyes took in yet another alien culture.

Mokksha: :::she stepped onto the path and paced sedately towards her groom for seven ritual steps, then paused, knelt, laid the wild flowers in front of her as a symbollic barrier and then placed her hands before her heart chakra in the first mudra of the ritual dance of presentation::

Fen Stridar: He smiled as he saw Mokki approach. She was lovely in the moonlight. He watched the long promised dance with excitement.

Dulcimer: She stepped out of her shadow, looking like a full muslim woman, dressed in a purka as nothing underneat could be seen. She stepped up besides Lord Travanix, her head canted to the side slighty as her hands came down from under her arms to rest at her sides. She would abide no trouble at this wedding.

Mokksha: :::hands sliding upwards and outwards, offering her heart, her love, her self, with the first gesture:::

Kaijuchan: :: She whiped her eyes of tears and nibbled at her lip watching.::

LordTravanix: ::Wedding ring, slaver's collar - both still a circle, both relyed upon the loyalty of one to another. He smirked as he watched, the annoyance of the subject next to him not going unnoticed. Still, the coin remained firmly in his palm.::

Mokksha: :::a fluid rising, twirling, set her skirt to belling around her like a living flower blossoming around her slim ankles and calves, as she used the momentum to slip off the veiling portion of her sari, tucking it into her ornamental belting while she finished the turn::

Fleetwolf: Travanix would find a wall of energy pushing out against any with ill will at the edge of the gathering.

Dulcimer: She turned her head back to the wedding, but her ears worked back and forth under the purka cover, their mounded points taking in any scant noise in the clearning.

ArmoredKaiju: :: She nuzzled against Gilly and whiped her eyes .::

XvMoravX: :: She smiled and continued to watch silently.::

LordTravanix: ::The tingling of the coin remained the same as he stood at the edge of the warded zone. Minor sparks was the best description of what he felt as he held that simple coin.::

Mokksha: :::then a flirtatious eye dart and head tilt at her groom, a smile on her lips only for Fen, as her arms and shoulders swayed, her hands and fingers flying thru the mudras of loyalty, the fingers twining like one, the hands circled into each other, the arms bent to echo that curve::

Fen Stridar: Watched in rapt attention.

Fleetwolf: Fleet let his glowing blues glance at the field disturbance, but ignored it.

Mokksha: ::::the wedding choli she wore covered her breasts modestly, but revealed they were made of young and firm flesh, suitable for nurturing children, should they come, as she lifted her arms skyward, invoking Sita, goddess of marriage, and spun once again, with a small ankle flick, keepng her skirts flowing and belling, showing her legs to be shapely and strong, capable of carrying young on the hips they ended in::

Ammy Spiritor: She watched in fascination and a little envy at how Mokkie can move. But she was gifted for it. She just smiled more and enjoyed the display.

Ember Pallin: Watched the dance and just grinned as he saw Fen in a bit of a trance. This was a ceremony he had never seen.

Myrlene Wolf-Spiritor: Myrlene had set the basket down on the ground and was rolling a black ball around in her paws to keep from getting twitchy. 6 year old and wedding was an odd mix. She kept quite though and watched Mokki.

Mokksha: :::a swaying of hips was added to the motion of the dance and combined with the hand mudras for the sacred river, gangesh, goddess of fertililty and one best invoked in a bridal dance, as her fingers, arms, shoulders, torso, belly and hips, now all swayed as if they were the living waters of the river itself::

Fen Stridar: If he wasn't already captured by her beauty, he was fully awed by it. How was he so lucky.

Fleetwolf: Fleets paw rested on Fens shoulder, a steadying, calming support.

Ammy Spiritor: She looked across to Ember and made a small nod to her Force Master. The ceremony was going well.

Ember Pallin: He nodded in response to his Padawan.

Mokksha: ::::a last swirling turn and the mudras for gratitude and love flowed from her fingers and hands as she sank back down into a kneeling posture, pulling the sari veil back over her head and face as she did so, stilled and yet full of checked motion, waiting for her groom to claim her, for the witnesses to declare her fit to bear his children, her dance evidence of her strength and her public avowal to commit herself to him:::

Fleetwolf: He leaned over and whispered to the stunned Fen. "Go, take her hand." then to the crowd. "Witnesses, do you find her of honor and virtue?" he awaited the response.

LordTravanix: ::The emotions here were high, he could not help but sense it. The love, compassion, friendship. Almost made him sick to his stomach. Still, the coin stayed steady in his hand. He took one step, preparing for the worse should this not work. Though, the master mage assured him it would. As he passed through the barrier of the ward, the coin he could feel was arching energy acrossed its surface. He felt a seeming bolt of energy try to hold him, but seemed to pass to the coin once he pushed through And still, he just stood and watched, the dark smirk somehow growing darker still.::

Maranya Valkonan: I find her of honor and virtue.

LadyAjaBird: I find her of honor and virture.

Fen Stridar: Fen stepped down the steps and knelt by Mokki. "I accept you regardless of what others say." he whispered to her and offered a paw to her.

ThorneFang: ::simply nodded, otherwise keeping silent as he had been::

Maranya Valkonan: ::More of those muffled soft sneezes::

Ember Pallin: Ember noted the stranger and the reaction to the barrier. He kept an eye on the stranger now, hand on saber.

Mokksha: ::::she stared at him a moment, stunned, then whispered back as she took his paw in her hand:::: and i accept you, no matter what anyone says also, and i don't care what they say anyway, wev

Fleetwolf: The Lupes howled out as well. "We honor her. She shall be his mate!"

Mokksha: :::she gulped and rushed on::: we've been honorable enough through everything that has happened that i still have the gift of my maidenhead to give to you, and that is all that matters.

Mokksha: ::::she clutched Fen's paw even more tightly when the howling broke out:::

Fen Stridar: "I will cherish that gift. Let us stand love." he whispered.

Dulcimer: Reached out and grabbed Travanix firmly yet gently at the elbow, the fabric of her purka making her seem as one mass. Her voice soft and pleasant, but still held a tingle of menace should he try something untoward. "my friend.. I suggest you not try anything here this day, for you are clearly outmatched and outgunned.. find a better day." She looked through the windowed opening of the purka, her eyes though shadowed burned with a lavander fire showing she meant business.

Mokksha: :::she stood with Fen's help, stepping over the ritual barrier of the flowers and pulling her veil free of her face for him to see:::

Fleetwolf: Fleet smiled. "The witnesses hold Mokksha Kyshatrias honorable and of virtue. Fen and Mokksha, aproach me for the vows."

LordTravanix: ::The coin still arching with the energy of the ward as it tried to get rid of the foreign element. The reach would be met with the chill of darkness coursing through not just his flesh but piecing his miltary tunic. He looked at the person, eyes glowing a blood red for a moment then turning back to the crowd and returning to normal. He said nothing, the dark smirk still holding his lips.::

Mokksha: :::she shivered for an instant as she ascended the dias with Fen, there we deities up there where she was going to be married:::

Ember Pallin: Ember left the dias and stood 5 ft away from the two strangers, and stood a silent sentry.

Fen Stridar: Fen led her up gently and with pride. Nervousness left.

Mokksha: ::::she looked at Fen, she saw her one true love, and she felt at one with her heart and her destiny:::

LordTravanix: ::A brow arched over dark auburn eye to the other fool who dared approach. Such hostility from those who claim to be noble, towards one who has done nothing. This of course brought a warped mirth to his otherwise deviant eyes.::

Dulcimer: Her voice soft as the summer rain pierced into his ears. "now if you please sir,, step back" She gave him a soft gentle push on his elbow, to add accent to her words but would otherwise not force him where he didn't want to go... yet.

Fleetwolf: Canis and Lupis turned the attention to Fen and Mokksha. Power flowed from them, and wrapped the two be united in their blessings and protection. Fleet smiled some more. "Now then. I believe you two have your own vows to say to one another. I will then consecrated it with the Lupesh vows."

Mokksha: ::::so busy beaming at her groom she barely felt the blessings of the gods or the elder, she just smiled at Fen and waited for him to speak:::

Fen Stridar: Fen turned to Mokkie, and his voice rang out loud and clear. "You cannot possess me for I belong to myself, But while we both wish it, I give you that which is mine to give, you cannot command me, for I am a free person, But I shall serve you in those ways you require and the honeycomb will taste sweeter coming from my hand."

LordTravanix: ::He looked back to the thing that still offered direction. He looked at its grasp on his elbow then back to the eyes before he said anything. :: Now now. No need to be rude. I will depart when I am ready. ::He turned back towards the "ceremony" and simply watched, the coin still dancing in his fingers.::

Fen Stridar: "I pledge to you that yours will be the name I cry aloud in the night and the eys into which i smile in the morning. I pledge to you the first bite of my meat and the first drink from my cup. I pledge to you my livingand my dying, each equally in your care. I shall be a shield for your back and you for mine. I shall no slander you, nor you me. I shall honor you above all others, and when we quarrel we shall do so in private and tell no strangers our grievances."

Antonio Falconne: ::slips in the back, and moves quietly over near Anya::

Maranya Valkonan: ::Hazels widen with delight as Antonio joins her and Aja for the wedding. Soft sneeze is muffled::

Artsblood: ::Foxfire and groundfog, moonlight upon them, shift and dance. The shadows coalesce and she is there instead, black cotton and white flesh strobing, all anorexic elegance::

ThorneFang: ::pushes his front up, sitting back on his haunches as he conitnues to watch the proceedings::

Dulcimer: "no, I think now is a good time since you come here with ill vollition." Her grasp clamped down even more, and it was enough of a push this time to put him off balance if he was not careful. "You are one of the uninvited, it is time for you to leave."

Fen Stridar: "This is my wedding vow to you, this is the marriage of equals."

Artsblood: ::She drifts to the outer edge of the assembled, elegant as smoke, her thin height allowing her a view, great brown mooneyes intent, and stained by memory::

Ammy Spiritor: Ammy kept from clapping. The vows from Fen were great!

Mokksha: :::she beamed at Fen with love in her eyes and nodded her acceptance of his vows, silently extending her hands out to him to clasp:::

ArmoredKaiju: ::She leans over and whispers to gilly.:: What did you get her?

Antonio Falconne: ::slips one arm around Anya's waist, and smiled quietly as he listens::

Myrlene Wolf-Spiritor: Myrlene noted the energy by Ember and just kept quiet. She didn't understand a thing Fen said. She went back to playing with the black ball to relieve energy.

LordTravanix: ::Stands firm, his torso twisting slightly so that he can keep his feet planted. He spoke quietly, without turning back towards the annoyance.:: I would hate to have to kill you here on such a beautiful day. I simply came to watch, if you cannot allow me to do so, I will be happy to take you to the deeper woods, gut you, cook you up, feed you to the local wildlife, of course recording the whole thing that on the anniversery of your death, I can send it to your friends and family so they may

Fleetwolf: Fleet nodded to Fen. He turned to Mokkie. "Do you accept his vow?"

LordTravanix: relive your stupidity. Release me. ::He was quite calm, enjoying the slow rising tensions of the few that had taken notice of him. ::

Mokksha: Yes, I do!

Dulcimer: "then wait outside of the circle like the rest of the good little children" she chided in tone, her arm pulling on him with an inhuman strenght and grip to drag him off of his feet and out past the ward.

Artsblood: ::No breeze stirs the ruined dandelion of white hair, mooneyes unblinking. But the razor slash of her mouth shapes around vows remembered::

Ember Pallin: Noted the stranger in clothing from head to toe radiated firm energy. He just smiled and returned to the dias. The stranger would handle the stranger.

Fleetwolf: "Now your vows Mokksha. But one moment. A preparation is needed." he stepped back, paws glowed red and a small fire sprang up. "For your vows." he smiled to Mokksha.

LordTravanix: ::And she would find that her strength was met with his - he wasn't going anywhere. However, the coin was still coursing with the energy of the directed wards.::

Fleetwolf: Travanix would find the coin crumble to ash as Lupis and Canis glanced once at him and then ignored him.

Mokksha: :::she smiled and nodded at Fleet, then turned, one hand gathering the skirts and sari and folding them over her elbow, as she again held her hands out to Fen for him to clasp:::

Fen Stridar: He clasped paw to human hand and followed as in rehersal.

LordTravanix: ::Coin wasn't going anywhere, though it tingled still. He was beginning to think that corrupting a mage should have been a task done long ago. He was quiet, only watching. Though, the urge to mis-behave was beginning to grow in what was left of his soul - if he actually had one to begin with.::

Fleetwolf: Fleet stepped back to give them room.

Mokksha: :::she stepped the first step backward around the sacred fire, representing the dangers and trials of life that she trusted her beloved to guide her around as he did so now, since she could not see where she was going, only the one to whom she was swearing her soul as she spoke the first vow::

Artsblood: ::The small disturbance barely noted, but its participants would feel the chill of her great brown mooneyes, and the weight of heavy heart in her wasted body, and the disdain of both for such schoolyard posturings::

Fen Stridar: He deftly guided her around the fire as she walked backwards.

Maranya Valkonan: ::She snuggles with Antonio, watching the wedding with a fond smile for the participants::

Mokksha: Let us take the first step to provide for our household a nourishing and pure diet, avoiding those foods injurious to healthy living.

Mokksha: :::the second step and the second vow::: Let us take the second step to develop physical, mental and spiritual powers.

Ammy Spiritor: She stood stock still watching the vows of Mokkie. Her emeralds were wet. She was starting to cry.

Mokksha: :: the third step and no faltering so far::: Let us take the third step to increase our wealth by righteous means and proper use.

Fen Stridar: He mirrored her flawlessly in his armor. He was intent on not have the vow shatter.

Mokksha: ::fourth step and vow::: Let us take the fourth step to acquire knowledge, happiness and harmony by mutual love and trust.

Fleetwolf: Fleet, Canis and Lupis all watched in solemn silence of the ritual vow.

Kaijuchan: i got them this and that. you know things i find at the bottom of the ocean in ship wrecks. What did you get them angy ?

Mokksha: :::fifth step and vow, nearly there::: Let us take the fifth step, so that we be blessedwith strong, virtuous and heroic children.

ArmoredKaiju: you;ll see. :: A smile.::

Mokksha: :::the sixth step:: Let us take the sixth step for self-restraint and longevity.

XvMoravX: I got them a lovely centerpeice for their home. :: A smile

Mokksha: ::: the final seventh step and vow::: Finally, let us take the seventh step and be true companionsand remain lifelong partners by this wedlock.

Fen Stridar: Followed like a mirror.

Mokksha: :::and as she stands there, holding Fen's hands she recites the closing coda::::

LadyAjaBird: ::curious watching of the ceremony::

Mokksha: We have taken the Seven Steps. You have become mine forever.Yes, we have become partners. I have become yours.Hereafter, I cannot live without you.Do not live without me. Let us share the joys.We are word and meaning, united. You are thought and I am sound. May the night be honey-sweet for us;may the morning be honey-sweet for us;may the earth be honey-sweet for us and the heavensbe honey-sweet for us. May the plants be honey-sweet for us;may the sun be all honey for us; As the heavens are stable, as the earth is stable,as the mountains are stable, as the whole universe is stable,so may our unions be permanently settled.

Fleetwolf: Fleet stepped up again. He turned to Fen. "Do you accept her vows Fen?"

Mokksha: ::::Mokki beamed up at Fen, the intensity of her love in her gaze, her touch and her voice:::

Fen Stridar: "To the last of my breath, and life. I do."

Mokksha: :::she squeezed Fen's paws tightly in her hands::

Artsblood: ::Freakish fingers touched freakish fingers in a single, silent, applause::

Fleetwolf: Fleet nodded once. "These two have recited their vows. Their love is strong, their will is resolute. I will hearby seal the ceremony." He then spoke up more and used Common followed by Lupesh. "Do you Fen take Mokksha in the bonds and pack oaths of Lupis and Canis. Will you twine with fur and flesh through joy and sorrow, life's beginning and life's end, and tears, and laughter? Will you hold dear through joy, life, and tears? To your mate and offspring will you hold dear? Before those here and Lupis and Canis, do you swear to be a pack through poverty and prosperity, imprisonment or freedom, solitude and togetherness? What one feels so shall the other."

Fen Stridar: Tears streaming from his noble features. "I do."

Mokksha: ::::she stood tiptoe and used the edge of her sari veil to wipe the tears away from her beloved's face:::

Fleetwolf: "Do you Mokksha take Fen in the bonds and pack oaths of Lupis and Canis.

Mokksha: :::a swelling of joyous sound came from her lips as she answered::: "Yes, I do!"

LadyAjaBird: ::leans over to Anya and Antonio, saying quietly:: Aw..that's so sweet.

Maranya Valkonan: ::She nods, speaking softly:: Very beautiful.

Antonio Falconne: ::nods to Aja:: <w> Well done indeed.

Artsblood: ::No pink stained tears snail-track the spare planes of her cheeks, but the smile that touches the corners of her razorslash of a mouth is both kind and wry; love not an easy thing for her to see, perhaps, but appreciated all the same::

Fleetwolf: Fleet smiled. Canis and Lupis approached and stood on either side of Fleet. Canis, Fleet, and Lupis laid paws on Fen and Mokksha. In unison, with the metallic blue wings of Fleets deity herritage flowing out, they spoke. "By the powers of the holy, divine, and the protectors of the Lupinossi line. We sanctify your union. May the blood line of Kryshlidar grow strong and multiply. Fen and Mokksha, today you both are tied in spirit, soul, and flesh. You may kiss the bride!"

Maranya Valkonan: ::She wipes at her hazels with a forest green silk handkerchief that was tucked up one sleeve of her forest green wool off the shoulder tunic::

Mokksha: :::she blinked in startlement that the gods themselves would bless their union so::

Fen Stridar: Fen took Mokki in his arms, bent her low and kissed her long and deep.

Fleetwolf: The Lupes howled in joy. The sound is heard over Rhydin tonight.

Ember Pallin: Ember approached the dias and coughed.

Mokksha: ::::Mokki was taken into Fen's embrace and leaned back into his arms and was quite thoroughly and completely kissed.::

Ammy Spiritor: Ammy snapped out of her reverie and noticed something was forgotten. She reached the diase the same time Ember did and coughed as well.

ThorneFang: ::hrms and nods, a good ceremony. He picked himself up on all fours and quietly padded his way out of the Glen::

Maranya Valkonan: ::Softly:: The rings. ::Then she muffles soft sneezes with her handkerchief::

Fleetwolf: Blinked at Ember and Ammy and remembered the items. He stepped up to Mokkie and Fen. "Now then, word be one way of sealing your union, but we must ahve a physical show." he said loudly.

LadyAjaBird: ::applauds the happy couple::

Ember Pallin: Ember held out in thin air by the Force, a masterfully crafted Platinum bracelet.

Mokksha: :::still catching her breath from the kiss she looks bemusedly from Fen to Fleet::

Antonio Falconne: ::sotto voche to Aja and Anya:: I thought that kiss was a good physical show::

Ammy Spiritor: Ammy mirrored Ember, using the Force to hold out the Platinum Bracer for Fen in the Air.

Maranya Valkonan: Oh, I agree. ::Stage whisper::

LadyAjaBird: ::nods at Antonio:: Good sign of years to come

Fen Stridar: Stood and released Mokki from the kiss, and looked to the bracelet. Strong will to resist a facepalm. He reached out and took the bracelet from the air.

Mokksha: :::Mokki blushed at some of the comments she pretended not to overhear:::

Mokksha: ::::she used the movement of reaching for the bracer for Fen to shield her face for a moment::

Mokksha: :::and then she turned and looked at her nearly now husband with the bracer and smiled at him::: you first or me?

Ember Pallin: Ember stepped back and just laughed merrily.

Ammy Spiritor: Ammy retreated and hid a smile.

Fen Stridar: "I will grace you first Mokksha. You will be my jewel forever." he slipped the small ring that was attached to the bracelet by fine chain on her ring finger, and placed the bracelet gently on her wrist. He fastened the paw into hand clasped and smiled to her. "With the blessing of Canis and Lupis, the is the marriage of equals."

Myrlene Wolf-Spiritor: Looked at the dias. The energy was high and strong. She whimpered just lightly as it was almost too much good to take for her. She hugged the black ball.

Mokksha: :::she nodded at Fen's vow and bedecking of her, then slid the bracer onto his wrist, clasping the paw holding hand fasteners tightly, the outward symbols of their union complete as she murmured:: With the blessing of Canis and Lupis, this is the marriage of equals.

Fleetwolf: Fleet, Canis, and Lupis let out a howl of unison. Th howl was taken up in by
all Lupes in a smooth wave. It was louder, more energetic howl than the first.

Mokksha: ::she pounced on her now husband for another kiss, emboldened by the den's acceptance and the successful completion of the wedding:::

Fen Stridar: And down he went. Armor clanging on the rock dias. He didn't care. He gave hugs and more deep kisses.

Maranya Valkonan: ::She applauds the union::

Ember Pallin: Ember clapped in approval and shouted his native tongue his own blessings.

LadyAjaBird: ::whistle and clapping for the couple::

Myrlene Wolf-Spiritor: Energy suddenly forgotten as the howl is felt and she joins in.

Mokksha: :::happily kissing and hugging her new husband, even if they are now fallen over::::

Antonio Falconne: ::applauds as well::

Maranya Valkonan: ::Softly:: I wonder what it will be like, dearest... remember I'm greedy. ::Wink to Antonio::

LordTravanix: ::He smirked one last time, his arms unfolded as the ceremony was completed. The coin slipped between fingers as it was visibly electrified from the energy of the wards that would have held him away. A shame that weak people helped in the preperation of this event. The coin flipped into the air, sending it farther into the area as he turned to walk away, his arms refolding behind him. The wards all but voided out as the coin crackled loudly with energy. Once investigated the old writing would

Ammy Spiritor: Ammy remained silent. She glowed bright blue. Lifting paws to the sky, she clapped once. "Enlithnarea!" the sky and stars vannished as bright colored explosions and light danced across the sky.

LordTravanix: translate "Darkness is, but darkness was." Of course, the black uniformed figure would already find his way to the path, a dark chuckle escaping his throat.::

Mokksha: :::hears applause belatedly, then vaguely notices fireworks are not in fact the result of kissing her husband and carefully gets up and offers her hand to help Fen to his feet::

Artsblood: ::Hands clasped in front of her, weird fingers twined like nightcrawlers in a jelly jar, the little whine and purr of her ruined voice:: (vs) Let it last longer than most, the prettiest wish I can find...

Antonio Falconne: In a good way, certainly. ::smirking::

Fen Stridar: He stood and lifte Mokki in his arms. He spun her around gently. "At long last hon, we can say good by to the couch!" He kissed her more.

Maranya Valkonan: Exactly so.

Mokksha: :::::::she laughed and fell to kissing Fen again::: yay, no more couch!

LadyAjaBird: Beautiful ceremony. ::still looking around:: Seen a few in my time. That was nice.

Mokksha: ::::the evil piece of furniture that had kept them sleeping apart all these months would be happily discared in favor of a marital bed::

Maranya Valkonan: This is the second wedding I've been to this year. Tormay and Taneth's will be the third. Good things come in threes.

Fleetwolf: The deities turned to Fleet and smiled at him. *Pitty your union with your mates was in war time. We would have loved your mating ritual. We must depart grandson. Lupinoss needs us.* they each gave Fleet a hug, then vanished. A soft fading voice followed. *We approve of your new path.*

LadyAjaBird: ::nods happily:: Absolutely they do..::looks at Anya carefully:: Um.. Mo?

Ammy Spiritor: Fireworks set in motion, Ammy took to the dias and wrapped arms around Fleet. "You did great Fleet!" Then her voice was low. "Are you...crying?"

Maranya Valkonan: Mm?

Antonio Falconne: ::looks between Anya and Aja::

LadyAjaBird: ::points her finger at Anya's face and does a circle motion:: Why is yer face spotted?

Maranya Valkonan: Spotted? ::Owlish blink of her hazels::

LadyAjaBird: Ya turnin leopard on us instead of cougar?

Fleetwolf: "Just happy is all. Finally some peace and blessing from them for me leaving my deity duties behind." he hugged her tight.

LadyAjaBird: ::nods and looks at her friend carefully and nods to her hands:: Yer hands too.

Antonio Falconne: ::nods:: I was wondering if it was just a trick of the light in here...

Myrlene Wolf-Spiritor: Myrlene milled around all the people and the commotion and celebration. She was a bit lost in this and found her way to Anya.

Maranya Valkonan: ::She looks down at her hands. Another blink at the reddish spots on them:: I've had the measles... <I>bozhe moi, </I>Silas did warn of side effects from the cure, but... ::She sneezes, loudly this time::

Ember Pallin: He stood and just watched the festivities. "Grand wedding it is."

LadyAjaBird: ::wry grin:: Side effect? Hayfever from hell maybe.

Antonio Falconne: Side effects?

Dulcimer: She went back under her tree, lurking from the sidelines. her green purka blending her into the surrounding vegitation.

Myrlene Wolf-Spiritor: "Anya!" she bounced in energy in her jedi robes.

Maranya Valkonan: Mm, Silas gave me something which tasted like tar mixed with sour milk... Sunshine! ::Reaching out to catch Myrlene in a hug::

Maranya Valkonan: Beyond willing, I should be <I>cured.</I>

Mokksha: :::a whisper to her husband::: Fen, they are all distracted now....by the fireworks and talking, do you think we can go and be alone now...?

Fleetwolf: Fleet slapped Fen on the back and shoved keys into his paws. "Go, scat you two, your new house awaits!" he laughed.

Antonio Falconne: ::nods to Anyaa, smiling::: Good

LadyAjaBird: ::stands up and gives a bright wave to Fen and Mokksha::

Maranya Valkonan: If sneezing... ::Turning her head a little so she doesn't sneeze on poor Myrlene:: and spots are the price for a few days, so be it.

Mokksha: :::she smiled and waved back::

Fen Stridar: "Yes." He blinked at the keys in his paws and just grinned. He swept mokki up, and carried her down the steps up the the carpet and then at a fast run as the Lupes cheered him on. He vanished with Mokki up the trail.

LadyAjaBird: ::nudges Anya:: Hey Sneezy. I'm headin back to the arena. ::gives a shake of her head:: Got a feelin something's off.

Mokksha: ::she blew kisses to one and all as her husband carried her off and over the threshold of their new life together::

LadyAjaBird: ::waves to Antonio:: You stickin around for a while, handsome?

Myrlene Wolf-Spiritor: "Cure?" takes off bracelet and touches Anya's face."

Maranya Valkonan: Mm? Maybe I can drag a certain handsome Merchant with me.

Antonio Falconne: I'm all yours, ladies.

Maranya Valkonan: <I>Da, </I>sweetheart, so I won't be sick doing my magic any more.

LadyAjaBird: ::walks backward up the trail and nods at Antonio:: Glad to hear it! ::turns and takes off for the arena::

Myrlene Wolf-Spiritor: "Oh."

Maranya Valkonan: Fleet, Ammy, do you mind if Myrlene comes to the duels, to watch? Or should she get some rest?

Fleetwolf: "She may go with you."

Ammy Spiritor: Ammy just nodded. They both looked like they needed some time to themselves.

Maranya Valkonan: Good. Come along, sweetheart. Dearest. ::Bouncing the girl on her hip as she leads the way back to the Arena::

Antonio Falconne: ::follows along, smirking::

Ember Pallin: He just smiled, shook Fleets paws and bowed. "I must be off. The Bi-Duran hase valuable cargo to tend to for two clinics." he winked to Fleet and left the Glen.

Fleetwolf: He looked out at the feasting Lupes and smiled. His paws rose and glowed blue. The gifts brought would find themselves in the new house of Mokki and Fen.

Ammy Spiritor: "Well love, you did well. Another happy couple. Now then. Should we try to help Street rescue Sari?"

Dulcimer: Seeing that the party was breaking up, she moved over to pick up the cast off coin that ws tossed in the middle of the clearing. It would be of some use later she knew.

Fleetwolf: He shook his head. "No, he will handle it. For now, lets just enjoy tonight." he looked to the dias and blinked. It reverted to the shelf rock. "Gran and Gramps wished we had a formal wedding, but they are happy all the same I have you." he smiled and kissed Ammy. He walked her to the parties breaking out.

Ammy Spiritor: She followed, content, and a bit tired. She had fun.

Dulcimer: Walked off out into the forest back twards her little hut in the woods.

After the event faded when the spell went into recharging, he looked down at a note with familiar script. Fleet, he thought.

*Enjoy the event that will bring your life into peace, harmony, and may the gods will it, children. They really are quite fun when you get some training into them.* -Fleet Wolf-

*P.S. Take a vacation from the clinic for a while.*

Fen Stridar

Date: 2009-08-10 18:34 EST
Two months had gone by since the wedding and the honey moon week. Mokksha and Fen worked their butts off with the entailing events that happened around the den, but the efforts were not for loss. Fen and Mokksha were handed another week off courtesy of Fleet and the clinic and now Fen was on his way to the Inn to meet Mokkie for the first night out.

Fen walked up to the Inns porch and had a seat on the porch swing. He was dressed in blue jeans, and a sleeveless shirt. He had some thing on his fur giving him an earthy, minty smell and his mane was pulled back and well brushed out. He leaned back in the swing and waited.

Fen kept a look out for someone special. Wind blew lightly fluffing his fur a little and spreading the minty smell around some more. He looked quite comfy in his sleeveless shirt and blue jeans. One would never suspect him being a doctor.

Mokksha walked onto the porch in her regular clothes, nursing scrubs put off in favor of her comfy skirt and choli, sari merely wrapped around her shoulders and back:::

Fen grinned seeing Mokkie. "Well now, who is the enchanting beauty on the porch?"

Mokksha giggles at her husband and flutters her eyelashes::: that would be me love....your own little mokkie. :::slipping over to wrap her arms around him:::

He oppened his arms wide and gave her a long hug. "Been too long since we've had time off. "Fleet's officially told me to scram from the clinic for a week." his muzzle showed a toothy grin.

Mokksha giggled and smooched both sides of his muzzle alternately::: he must have read my mind

"And my note." he winked. "He is doing very well, and from this order to take time off, I believe his is back to his old self. Now then, where did we leave off, oh yes.." he pulled her close and gave her a very long kiss.

Any reply she might have made was stifled by his kiss and her happy purr of contentment::

He released her from his kiss and just chuckled. "Now then. Shall I get us something to drink? Something cooling for the fire of my life?"

Mokksha murmured::: something fruity perhaps, but no alcohol, not now i think....

Jarasdhaka: Instead, he hovers out to the front porch, going straight through a wall, and watches the moon for a moment.

Another grin. "I can come up with something you just might like." he stood and walked for the door and entered the inn. The minty smell following him, his tail wagging lazily. Walking in he headed for the bar, cool, casual, no stress, and looking quite bright and perky. He walked around the bar and started to assault the juice selection.

Jarasdhaka: "You have a mark on your forehead," says a floating, six-armed, orange man who has an actual eye there.

Mokksha just stared at her mate with the look of one besotted with love, then blinking back to reality upon hearing a voice addressed to her::

Fen found the perfect thing. He mixed a few things secrectly and bottled the mix into two bottles. corked he looked up and saw Mira. "Mira?" he called to her.

Jarasdhaka: "Do you practice Bhakti Yoga?"

Mokksha, seeing the stranger floating before her and the form he was in , she placed her hands palm to palm before her heart chakra and bowed:::: namaste elder.....that is my marriage mark.

Jarasdhaka: He mimics the gesture back to her with two of his six hands. The other four are holding something symbolic.

Fen took both bottles he walked for Mira instead.

Mokksha: and no, i am not a yogini.....but my husband's clan practices visible marking upon mating and i did not think i could stand the pain of a brand, so i opted for this and a marriage ring and bracelet instead.

"Uhm, Mira, I would like to get a few things."

Jarasdhaka: "I understand. Is your marriage pleasant?"

Mira Cigargirl: ::She nodded to Fen and then made her way over to him. When she got there she greeted Fen with a warm smile:: Good evening, Fen. What might you like?

Mokksha smiled widely, beaming as only those truly in love can do:::: yes elder, it is.

Mira Cigargirl: ::She just cought the wink from Griffin and returned a smile. Then her attention was entirely on Fen::

A big grin was on his muzzle. "I am having a night out with my love. Do you have any Flowers, oh and any Chocolate covored Fruit? As well as some white chocolate."

Mira Cigargirl: I don't have any real flowers with me this evening, I'm sorry. But I do have a couple of chocolate roses. ::She carefully took the only two she had from the long side of the tray and held them out for inspection. On green stems sat wrapped in shiny red foil chocolate shaped in the form of rose blooms.:: Might they serve the purpose?

Jarasdhaka: "Good. I wish your children good health." He pauses for a moment. It's - almost - as though he's thinking about something. "You are intimately involved with someone in my acquaintance."

"Perfect. Mira, your wonderful. How about the fruit and white chocolate?"

Mokksha tilted her head curiously, unsure what he meant precisely:::: is this so, elder?

Jarasdhaka: "It is within my faculties to perceive that you have a strong connection to the goddess Kali."

Mira Cigargirl: ::Then she pulled a foil wrapped box of the chocolate covered strawberries from her tray.:: And strawberries covered in chocolate. White chocolate... a bar of white chocolate, or perhaps with it being a special evening for you both, a box of the white chocolate covered and prettily decorated petit fours?

Fen had another grin. "Will take the strawberries, the petit fours, and the chocolate roses. How much?"

Mokksha: ah yes...:::small frown and sigh:::: i was at one time a vessel for her essence in the mortal world, but since my marriage no....for death cannot be where life is.

Mira Cigargirl: Two silvers and two coppers please. ::She pulled out a foil wrapped box from the bottom of her tray, claiming to be filled with delicious and fruity petit fours and handed it to Fen along with the other box and the two roses.::

Jarasdhaka: "She may never come to you again, but her mark has influenced you forever. Be grateful, if only for the uniqueness of your experience."

Mokksha nodded solemnly:::

Fen placed two gold into Miras hands instead. "Keep the change." he accepted the items gently and smiled giving Mira a soft kiss on the fore head. "Bless your health dear one." he turned and walked for the door and his mate on the porch.

Jarasdhaka: "Shall I leave you to your husband?"

Mira Cigargirl: Thank you ever so very much, Fen. ::she accepted the coins with a warm smile and pocketed them with a fine courtesie:: I hope you and Mokksha will enjoy them all and have a most wonderful evening together.

Mokksha, blushing slightly:::: it has been some time since we have had any alone time together, we might be a touch too romantic for your tastes.

Fen walked out onto the porch and made for Mokksha. He nodded to Jarasdhaka. "Evening sir." he handed a bottle to Mokksha, and took a seat on the porch swing by her.

Jarasdhaka: "I am myself married. I can appreciate these matters." Then he fades away and disappears.

Mokksha beamed at her husband like a sunflower following the sun:::: hello again, love. ::::: taking the bottle from him:::

He took a sip of his bottle and grinned. It was perfect. "Try your drink hon." he kept the gifts behind his back.

She nodded and sipped and laughed with pleasure:::: oohh....Fen, this is delicious, what is it?

"Kiwi, Passion Fruit, and Pommegranite with a hint of mint. Figured it will go well with these." he presented the Chocolate Roses, Chocolate covered Strawberries, and the Petit Fours to Mokksha. "A little chocolate for the night." He grinned.

Mokksha: ohhhhhh Fen, :::putting the drink aside to lean over and smooch him::::: you are soo good to me!

"Only the best for my wife. I have been a bad husband working too much." he kissed her lovingly and unrwrapped a chocolate rose and offered it to her. That minty smell around him again.

Mokksha reached up to gently stroke the side of his muzzle:::: you are not a bad husband, you are just a superior doctor is all! and you smell divine tonight too....:::kissing him back softly and sweetly, before taking the chocolate rose and nibbling at it then offering it to him to share:::

Fen Stridar: "Yeah. Smell." he began to laugh. "Fleet gave me a bar of wintergreen soap. Said most girls love it. I may have used too much."

Mokksha giggled at her husband and murmured::: it is because the winter green is allot like mint and mint smells like flowers and candy and tea and all the kinds of things we girly girls love....you big silly!

Fen nibbled on a chocolate covered strawberry then he looked to Mokki shocked. "You mean, I'm..I'm... girly?" he then laughed and drank some more of his juice. "Wouldn't be the first time. I did dress up as a dance girl for a very seedy bar one rainy night to get information out of a very raunchy, and dirty wizard." he shivered.

Mokksha shook her head, laughing more, nibbling more on her chocolate rose:::: no silly, you are not girly at all, but that smell appeals to girly girls, it is not icky or nasty like stinky sweat from after a long workout or something....

Fen chuckled. "Well I don't sweat like normal humans. I get sweaty paws. That's whre most of my sweat glands are. Hence why I keep some powder on paw." He put an arm around her and pulled her close. His ears flicked hearing the commotion form inside. As long as it stayed inside he was happy.

masamune: Gliding down from the sky, lining up the street just outside the Inn where it was empty he gives a few forwards downwards beats of his wings, landing with a soft thump on the ground. Taking a moment to eye those on the porch as he pulls his wings in close to his sides.

Mokksha: :::snuggling close to Fen:::: but what is that funny smell in your fur after you have been working long hours or have had a spar with fleet or street or someone, if it isn't sweat?

Fen chuckled. "Oh you mean the corn chip smell. Uhm... welll...." stalling coming from a doctor on a basic anatomy question. Busted. "Ya got me. I do sweat, but not as bad I hope. Now you on the other hand, when you sweat, I try not jump on you." he grinned toothily feeding Mokkie a chocolate covered strawberry.

Mokksha: ::::she blinked and giggled and before she could ask why she had a strawberry in her mouth:::: mmfffff!

masamune: He gives a soft rumbling chuckle as he notices Mokksha, "Well... I hope your not into the cider again Mokksha." his head lowered down towards her and Fen.

Fen was good at stalling questions some days. He sipped more juice. "You just smell so good when your sweaty, you smell good clean too." he amended quickly. It was Lupinossi way, since they had the canid nose and scenting setup. He looked to Mune. "Evening Mune. She's not drunk, at least not on alcohol." he grinned.

Mokksha saw Mune and giggled and shook her head, beaming at her husband again::::

masamune: He gave another throaty chuckle bobbing his head, "Well, thats the first since I've come across her in here... How are the two of you?"

Mokksha: ::::she decided, to heck with decorum and pushed aside the chocolate treats to slide into her husband's lap, just so she could be that much closer to him:::: well, i always love you....no matter what you smell like.

Fen hastily move his bottle of juice out of his lap to prevent getting a wet lap. Instead it was delightful lap of Mokki. "We have been good. Been too busy the both of us, but we finally got a week to ourselves. How have you been Mune?" he wrapped his furred arms around Mokksha and nuzzled his soft fur on her neck.

Mokksha she sighed contentedly and snuggled against her Fen::::

masamune: "Quite well actually, quite well indeed." he chuckled lifting a paw and pointing a claw towards Mokksha, "I keep telling her that one of these days if she keeps getting drunk around strangers it will get her eaten." jokingly.

Fen Stridar: "Not while I am on watch." he grinned showing off really sharp canid teeth. "They'd have to eat me first." he chuckled and kissed Mokkies neck.

Mokksha: ::::she let out a little squeak and retaliated by leaning in to kiss Fen's nose, and muzzle and then his nearest ear:::: yeah, my husband will always keep me safe!

masamune: With a toothy grin and chuckle his head bobs in a nod, "Indeed."

Fen Stridar: He chuckled and took another sip of his juice. "Ah this night is just great. Even the stars are grand, and not a single injured person or puking kid in sight. Though a little one running around would be grand too." another secretive grin.

masamune: He stretches out slightly in the street next to the inn looking up at the sky agreeing, "Indeed... lovely flying tonight as well."

Mokksha: ::::she leaned into Fen and murmured softly::: well, if you are sure about wanting that little one, i think i could be convinced to swear off hard cider for a few months....

Fen Stridar: Grins toothily. "I am sure we can arrange something."

Mokksha: :::she smiled deeply and murmured again::: perhaps even as soon as this week?

masamune: He grunted raising an eyeridge as he looked into the inn, "What in the worlds is going on in there..." then shifted his eyes back two Fen and Mokksha, "I couldn't always take it away from her if I was around..." he gave a toothy grin.

Fen Stridar: Another grin. "The house is nice and private, and I think I finally got the squeaks in the bed fixed." A nod to Mune. "She's in good paws now."

Mokksha: :::she giggled and reached up to tease him with a chin tickle:::: not like anyone could eaves drop on us, but that is nice to know love.

Fen Stridar: "It's awful with ears like mine to hear that squeaking." he ran his paws over her arms and just held her close.

masamune: He gives a deep laugh about the squeaking. His eyes fixed on the window nearby the two looking inside at the commotion.

Mokksha: :::::she looked worriedly confused for a moment::: oh sweetie, i had no idea such a little sound could be so awful for you....i am so very sorry for all the um....well i am sorry.

Fen Stridar: "Well, when you have your mind on other things, the squeaking is not so bad. I promise not to make you stiff like last time." he nuzzled her contentedly. "So, any thoughts about whether boy or girl?"

Mokksha: ::::she giggled:::: oh, i see....ummm......well, i think one at a time would be best, because if we had a boy and a girl together, wouldn't they always fight about who was older?

Fen Stridar: "Shock collars." is all he said with a laugh.

masamune: He laughed at Fens statement, "Hah, shock collars? That?s a bit harsh wouldn't you say?"

Suits and Ties: And so the trickster returned after his brief visit, back to absently kicking pebbles as his brows creased with a thoughtful frown. The argument earlier had his mind racing, stuck between guilt and anger.

Mokksha: :::she thought for a beat, then laughed realizing it was a joke:::: ohhh!

Fen Stridar: "Their adjustable." he argued lightly with more laughter in his voice. "Besides, if the baby comes out furred, I am for sure getting my kid a leash. No Lenes please." he chuckled.

Mokksha: :::she joined him in the chuckling at that:::: yes...if we have a Lene, she is gonna be inside a spell ward till she is thirty!

masamune: His head raised as he noticed a familiar individual approaching, "Ahh... Hello again Tav."

Fen Stridar: "Oh please, let's not keep her in the house that long or will never get bed time again." he laughed more.

Suits and Ties: He raised a hand in a wave to Mune. "Hey."

masamune: "A leash?" he asked with a laugh looking back to Fen and Mokksha.

Fen Stridar: "I am a Lupinossi. Canid genetics. If a pup can't stay in line, and I don't expect them too, sometimes a collar and leash are a good thing." he chuckled.

masamune: Then back to Tav... "Tav, Myst wanted me to tell you she was sorry for the trouble earlier... Thought I tried to tell her it was just you trying to keep her out of harms way..."
y sister back..

Mokksha: ::::she just blushed at the further tone of Fen's comments and buried her face in his chest::::

masamune: He gave a throaty chuckle bobbing his head, "It is an unusual form of punishment..." though he was joking.

Suits and Ties: "Thanks," a wry smile was offered to Mune. "I'm sorry about that, I didn't mean to snap and start shouting," yes, Tavarius had gotten into a shouting match, crazy, isn't it? Then he turned, spotting Madison, another wave and smile was offered, this set for her.

masamune: He thumped his tail gently on the ground behind him, "I suspose I can't blame you. You're going through a rough time."

Fen Stridar: "I don't know, some of our collars are quite nice looking. Leather, gold or silver work on them, even get a little doodad that plays Bingo Was His Name O." he sipped more juice in high spirits.

masamune: He raised an eye ridge drifting his vision back to fen, forcing a laugh back, "Bingo was his name o?" oh the humility.

Mokksha: ::::at that last joke, she actually laughed the sip she was taking out her nose::::: narrffff!

Fen Stridar: "Yup."

Mokksha: ::::one ear half hearing the conversation between Tav and Mune, she blinked curiously, while she tried to clean up the mess on her front:::

masamune: He laughed shaking his head back and forth at Fens comment and then back over to Tav he gives a soft nod with his head, "Hah... Quite a nasty situation you've got there..."

Fen Stridar: He kissed Mokksha again. "You know, all of this chocolate has given me a bit of an itch. One that is scratched best under linens." he winked.

Suits and Ties: He offered a quick smile to the familiar Mokksha and then shrugged absently to Mune. "It'll resolve one way or another," poking Madison in return, a bit of a wider grin at that. "It's something I've dealt with before. Plus...I don't think Eriorc is here for me. I think he just wants Scherzo."

Mokksha: ::::she giggled and blushed at the comment and kissed her husband Fen quite happily::: oh well, then let us be sure to get that itch scratched right away my love.

Fen Stridar: He grinned and stood, easily carrying Mokkie in his arms. "By foot or by magic?"

masamune: "Hmm... I see.... Is this, Eriorc like yourself?" he chuckled looking over to Fen and Mokksha, "Take care you two."

Mokksha: well, whichever one makes you less tired love! :::from her husbands arms she waved a vague goodnight to one and all:::

Fen Stridar: "Tonight, that wont be a problem. Magic it is then. Night Mune. To the Bat Cave!" he howled and he and moksha poofed in green sparks.

She went out into the woods to pray to the old gods of fertility, as she had not done since her time with her birth father's people. "Oh Kernunos, I beg of you, hear my prayer, let me get with child and fulfill my husband's wish for family." She left an offering of beer and bread and fruit and meat at one of the ancient stone altars in the forest. She tried to remember the ritual prayers, the gestures, the chants, but she could not, it had been so long ago, so far away, and now she had to hope that this gesture would be enough. The conventional doctors had all agreed that she and Fen were capable of having pups, therefore she suspected, given their recent frequent endeavors, the problem had to be on the spiritual level. She refused to burden Ammy or Fleet or Street or Sari or even Fen with her worries, she knew they all had enough on their plates, with keeping the clinic and the den running, or tending to Lene, or raising their own pups, or learning to deal with clinic and den politics as poor Fen had never had to do in his previous lifetimes. Her greatest fear was that her previous life as a sometime priestess and avatar of *her*, she would not even think the name aloud, had tainted her permanently somehow, made her unfit to be a vessel of life. With one more fervent prayer, she sent her hopes heavenward before she turned her steps back to the den and her nursing shift at the clinic.

Fen was starting to get the feeling that he was the problem in the area of having children. Maybe 3,000 years of not doing anything in the romance department left him... shooting blanks? He could sense Mokksha's agitation through the Solstra Paamaat Ring she had on and most likely she would feel him being agitated as well.

Well no more agitation. He was a doctor and worked in a hospital with a lab. Time to find out what's wrong. He discussed his plan with Mokksha, and when she agreed, he took some blood samples from her and from himself. He headed to the 2 basement floor and went to see Ammy in her lab. Stepping in, she looked up at him over the myriad of equipment that she was using to produce more LNC vaccines.

"Fen, what brings you down here?"

"Family business. Me and Mokksha have been trying to have kids and nothing is happening. I wanted to get some tests run on both of us." he laid the blood sample in front of her. Ammy marked a few things down on a report and then nibbled on her pen as she collected the blood samples. She got up, put them in a work order tray and went to a shelf. She pulled a small, clear lidded container down and taking the chewed on pen, wrote Dr. Fen Stridar, Motility Count, Sperm Count and walked back to Fen.

"Blood will not cover everything Dr. Stridar. You can use the Labs restroom." she placed the specimen container into Fens paws and went back to nibbling on her pen to hide the smirk at seeing him look shocked.

Fen took the container and left the lab and entered the restroom locking the door. Several minutes passed and he stepped out of the restroom blushing under his fur quite a bit. Entering the lab again he handed Ammy the sample.

Ammy made a few notations on a new report placed it and the container on the work order tray with the blood samples and just smiled.

"Two days for processing Dr. Stridar. I will give you a call then." and she giggled as Fen left the lab in a hurry.

Those two days were long, worrisome, and stressful. Mokksha reassured him, and he did the same with her. Late into the second day, Fen's cellphone rang. He answered.

"Dr. Stridar, I have your lab results finished now. You and Mokksha are quite healthy across the board. You have strong motility and excellent sperm count. Oh, and one more thing, Dr. Stridar. You just might want to consider asking Dr. Wolf for a raise. Mokksha is pregnant. Hormone levels indicate she's well into her first month and heading for her second. Have a nice day!" Her voice was way too cheery.

He clicked the phone off sat in the Staff Lounge for a moment, shocked, stunned, and quite happy. The few nurses taking their brake raised eyebrows at him and his condition. Fen pulled himself together and grinned. He left the lounge in search of Mokksha. Oh she will be happy to hear this.

And happy she was. Fen had never seen his wife burst with so much energy before. He grinned and took her out to the Inn. Over some juice and sandwiches, he felt her belly, and with his magic was able to determine that they had twins on the way. One daughter, one son. Names were soon tossed back and forth that night and they finally settled on two. Astra for the girl, and Ohmasiim for the boy. Fen couldn't wait for them to be born.

"Okay Mokkie dear. Easy as you up on the exam table." Fen directed Mokksha.

He swung out the stirrups and place her feet in them gently. He had her chart out and he began to examine her belly and lower.

"Looking good sweety. You may pop just yet, if they keep growing bigger." he chuckled. "Are you going nuts yet not helping out? I know you are used to being such a helpful busy body."

Fen made notes on her chart and then walked up to her and kissed her on the forehead. He stood by her stroking her hair. He could do a few initial things for an OB/GYN exam, but since she was his wife, one of the other Lupe interns had to carry out the rest of the exam.

Mokksha

"Love, I wouldn't care if I had to stay in bed for the rest of my pregnancy if it meant that our twins were fine!" She sighed softly and rubbed her expanding abdomen. Then she got a funny look on her face and blurted out, "do you think next time it might be a whole litter like lupinossi have?" She looked at her husband with mild panic as she babbled on, "i mean i want more children but i don't think i could fit three or four or five or six if two are so big...but i don't want us to not have more children.....oh gods....how are they all going to fit?" The grip she had on his paw was probably a precursor to the grip she would have during labor, and if this mild hormonally induced mania was any indicator, she was going to be as worried as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs by the time she came to term.

Fen Stridar

Fen just grinned and made a mental note to check his paw later for hairline fractures.

"Mokkie, you will not have more than twins. Fleet's notes state that the female of a mating pair will only have as many as her species allow, and I don't think we are going to get anymore pups in your belly." He just smirked.

One of the new interns came in a looked a bit nervous. He wasn't expecting his first patient of the day to be mate of his instructor. The intern swallowed hard a moment then stepped back out of the room. Fen raised and eyebrow and tilted his head. Looks like another one that needs some encouragement to look past status.

5 minutes passed and a female intern stepped in this time. She bowed to Fen and apologized for the other interns loss of nerve. She assured Fen that the fact that he was her Mentroa Alphrans had no impact on her task of OB/GYN exam today. She put on some gloves, flipped open Mokksha's chart and took a stool to sit by the lady. A soft smile and the exam began.

Fen Stridar

Up and down the hall his paws clicked, clawed fingers stroking his jaw line. Amber eyes narrowed to slits. Fen paced the hallway of the first floor.

Arca looked over to the nervous Head of Whisper Paws Clinic. Her blue eyes took in the sight. Fen's been this way for the last 2 weeks. She wasn't surprised. Fen felt the natural stress all sires felt when their mates draw close to whelping time. Arca started to rise with the intent of offering a comforting word, or best wishes, but she knew the Head Healer was on a razor edge with everything.

She sat back down and looked over the scant few cases for Fen to see in the afternoon. Not many at all. The clinic was barely busy anymore with most fighting or disasters quieting down for over a few months. She had a shadow fall over her desk. Fen was looking right at her.

"Yes Alphrans Mentroa?" she asked.

"Do I have any cases needed my personal attention?" he asked. Something had his voice taught with tension.

Arca recognized the signs of a male sensing and scenting when his mate was so close. She shook her head no to Fen.

"Alphrans Mentroa, as Head Nurse I am afraid your current stress level is going to put you in an early grave. You need a leave of absence and I have the paperwork filled out for you. You just need to sign." She said coolly and levelly like a nurse telling a patient you will not move or I stick you with a needle.

Fen showed a twitch in his ears and eyes being talked down to like that.

Arca didn't waiver. "That was my professional opinion. My opinion as a friend, Fen is you have a pregnant mate so close to whelping your starting to show her nervous energy. For the love of that woman you should be with her and not here. We have well trained interns now due to the ground work you and Fleet laid down. Now, take the leave, you will thank me for it. her paw shoved the clipboard towards Fen.

"I just can't walk away from this Clinic like Fleet did." his voice was a growl.

Arca stood and picked up the clipboard, and then smack Fen's muzzle with it. "Alphrans Mentroa Fleet didn't walk away from us. He put his life into this clinic. He left because he didn't take any time off. The stress ground him down to a nub, and I will not see you do the same thing. Now sign the paperwork or I'll beat some sense into you with the clipboard." The clipboard was thrust below his nose.

Fen was quite stunned at being struck by Arca. He had half the mind to bring up a favorite skin flaying spell he knew then realized she was right. He needed the time off or he was going to start turning on people. Fen took the pen and signed the paperwork.

Arca just smiled. "See you in 1 month Fen. And don't worry. If we have a case we can't handle without you, will call you. Now go be with your mate and hug those newborns extra gentle for me."

Fen just chuckled. The clinic would be okay without him. "I will Arca. Thanks for the smack to the muzzle. See you in a month."

Arca watched Fen walk down the hall to the elevator and step into the car. She sat back down and went over the cases. At the rate they were going, Fen could take half a year off and nothing would happen. "May Canis, our blessed mother life, and Foxingale, the blessed mother of healing be with you and your mate and children Fen." She uttered the age old blessings that mothers gave to their children on mating days.

Few knew what Fen was up to for the last two months. Arca wasn't surprised, Fen being an expected father and all. She was a bit peeved though at her boss when he brought Mokksha in one night, early labor hitting her. Luckily, they were able to counter the stress induced labor.

That was a month ago. Arca sighed a little as she laid a file down on the desk at her nursing station. The clinic had slowed considerably when spring hit. The cold weather of Rhydin now gone, most of the sniffles, colds, and flu that kept the clinic busy had surrendered. One should say that it was the goal of clinic to ensure everyone was healthy, but that often led to no income. Ah well.

Getting a cup of coffee, she sat in her chair, twitching her tail lightly as she looked over a case of Toddler meets Stinging Nettles. The poor pup whined and cried even after the soothing cream was worked into his skin. Most of the whining most likely due to having placed the pup in an e-collar and shaving a good deal of the tiny Lupes fur off.

Before she could get another sip of her coffee, she found Fen and Mokksha in the hall way suddenly. A furred brow raised. This was never a good sign. Standing quickly she made her way to the couple, claws clicking on the hardwood floor. She noted Mokksha looked quite deflated around the midriff and held two wrapped, wiggling bundles in her arms. Fen wore a grin that seemed to be surgically glued to his muzzle.

"Well, I see you two finally decide to have the pups. Have a hard time reading the assembly manual Dr. Stridar?" Arca said in playful humor.

"Well, it was in English. We had the kids in Lene's room in the Red Dragon Inn. I want the..." Fen was shushed by a wave of Arca's paw.

"Yes, yes. You want your pups checked out. Follow me. Gemii is on duty tonight. He's really good with the pups." she began to fuss over the couple, herding them into an exam room. She gave Mokksha a quick, envious grin.

Fen helped Mokksha to the exam table and gave his new pups a few tender pets. Gemii walked in, looking a bit rough around the neck fur. Constant pulling by Lupe pups would do that. He gave Fen a wide grin.

"Fen, you old devil. You finally did it. Welcome to the wonderful world of whining, crying, puking, and hyperactive pups. Now go have a seat, and let me take a look at your wife and pups." his voice was gentle, high pitched, and happy sounding. His silvery blue merel fur contrasted nicely with the light blue pediatrics scrubs.

Giving Mokksha a wam smile squatted on his haunches and began the inspection of pups and mother. An hour later, with Fen watching quietly on the sidelines, but damn proud of the interns he had trained, Gemii wrote the final detail on the new files, one for each pup.

"Well now. Two healthy pups. Astra came in at 6lbs 5 oz., female. Human presenting, Lupinossai receding traits. And Ohmassim, boy he must have been a doozy to push out. 7lbs 10oz., male. Human presenting, Lupinossai receding traits. I am sure both are going make you both proud. Now then, Mokksha should get some rest for the next day or two to make sure the pups bond well with her. Nothing worse than pup rejection of the mother. Anything else you want me to do Dr. Stridar?" Gemii asked.

"Yes, I do. Grab the camera. I am going to bug the hell out of my friends." fatherly pride deep in his voice.

She didn't know what was stranger, the fact that her belly was no longer swollen and stretched nearly beyond capacity, or the fact that there were now two small lives in existence that depended on her and Fen. Mokksha sighed softly, shifted in the bed and reached over to run one hand over the brows of her twins in their bassinet beside her, then rolled back to look over at her mate sleeping at her other side and smiled deeply, whispering, "Thank you Canis and Lupis for granting me all my wishes." Before she fell back into weary slumbers.
