Oh gosh. One ridiculously long posting session completed!

A repeated thanks to Marjorie and Katt for rolling out that scene with me. A little behind-the-scenes ramble: As it was originally planned to include others, I was pleasantly surprised how you two managed to turn it into something for you. I had several doubts whether or not it would even play out successfully as some stuff needed to be nixed all together.

And for that matter, I was worried it wouldn't have the same emotional impact that it would have had if it were done how it was originally supposed to be.

I haven't forgotten about, "Destination: Congregation, Headquarters". The goal of the thread was to explain Mayu's situation and revert her status, which was accomplished. The rest is mostly filler, so I haven't put emphasis on finishing it. I keep telling myself to, plan on it, then go in the room and get extremely sidetracked.

And that's mostly due to the fact that I'm having way too much fun actually playing! And trying to keep up with her rambling tape player thread. Still, I hope to get it finished. If not, no shame, no foul. Least I'm able to move on and push a few new storylines with some friends should they become available.

I started "The Player, The Girl? redux" with the intention of trying to liven up what goes on the tape player. I experimented with the idea by writing up a little section for Tracy. But since I play her, it didn't seem to settle in my head the way I thought it would.

After asking Marjorie's player to write up her own post as an experiment to see how another would look, I'm overall pleased with the results. Should at some point a character spend time with Mayu, overnight or otherwise, and you would like your character to make his or her own little recording, by all means, use the topic and share your character's perspectives!

Hopefully you'll have fun as well.

As always, anything that happens to be put in there is liable to be added, deleted, changed, etc. as they need to be. You can keep up with the latest changes by means of the date written in the subject!

I'd like to take a second and send a personal thank you to Fiora, Shilo, Rae and Kai. For all the RP you've given me these past few weeks, and for the help in developing my character more in the last little bit then I have in the past two years since I've started playing her again. It's been exceptional fun.

Of course, this couldn't all be possible without the continued support and assistance from Toby, who has made RP a blast since I've known you. You've been there for me over and over and over again, and I'm very grateful for it. Writing with you is fun, different, wild, and above all else, extremely addicting. I sat around and did absolutely nothing at all! Because Chicago sucks like that.

We did have a bunch of cosplayers (that I humored myself with) get arrested because they left behind a package that the police thought was a bomb. The police are not calling it a "hoax" themselves, but I'm definitely giggling out loud.

One of the suspects is described as, "Looks to be seven or eight years old, wearing some kind of green... big shirt... and plastic... pointed... pointed ears? Elf ears?"

D'awwww. They're questioning a young Link! The way she described him made me laugh.

This just happened last night, though. I so wish I was there to see it for myself!

A few snags:

My Sims project has run into a design issue (lol?), which is keeping me from getting pictures put together. I'm hoping to work on it tonight, if I'm not more swamped than people want me to be.

I've also been neglecting writing. I've lost my style, my creative drive, and my motivation. I'm hoping it's just a wall and not something long lasting. Until I can figure out what I need to do to get it back, posts may be barren, lacking any detail, or may make even less sense than usual. Apologies for that.

Several updates:

The NPCs for Shamanista have had pictures added to them. Each name is now considered a link (with exceptions to Saya) that can be clicked on. If you need a face with the name, there's your answer! You can see that here. I doubt I will change them drastically for any reason.

Secondly, "El Cazador y el Demonio" is finally completed behind the scenes! I will be making the necessary corrections and formatting tonight and tomorrow and have that put up! Finally we can see what's going on there! ^.~ Major thanks to Toby's player for also offering assistance in playing a character we needed. Still the bestest, sir.

Thirdly, Shamanista's storyline will be coming back in full swing. Right now I'm only working on some minor details and hoping I can get things put together by the end of this week to start working on it. It should be big. I'm hoping~

My two rabbit NPCs had their pictures change to sort of better reflect their characters. I don't know that they're finalized. The characters they're based off are, though.

On another, different level: Super-mega-awesome thank you to Martyr. Right. So, uh, Star Wars: The Old Republic is just around the corner to coming out. Early access has already begun, which is where I've been spending most of my time. Writing's not forgotten, just on... hiatus? I thought to say sabbatical, but yanno, we're not getting paid here.

Checkered Board is due for a few updates to coincide with Maiden Attacks. El Cazador still has some logs due so that it can be finished and explained (with special thanks to Alice for cutting into an exceptionally busy schedule to get me what I need!), and I have to work with Toby to get an update on post-Maiden events.

Full plate, and I promise it'll eventually get done. Nothing's forgotten. Being backlogged is just a bitch.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of Toby's last SL. Be it by giving me the opportunity to even bring it about (Mayu), reactionary posts (Elisa, Kingsley, Nikia) or just a quick comment expressing whatever emotion. I won't list them because I know I'll forget somebody. Since it was brought up: Shamanista's thread will be updated on a periodic, mega need to know basis. It's left open right now for the sole reason that, if I write it all out, there's a million and one answers offered concerning the characters involved. That's not really my goal just yet!

The only other thread I haven't really finished working on is El Cazador, which will eventually be completed when the logs can be acquired. Poor Alice is just swamped with a life and has to get them from a backup, which she's presently unable to do! :( We still miss you.

To try and add a little clarity, I went ahead and marked most threads with the abbreviation (OTL). These threads involve events that took place prior to Joslin's intervention, which means that they, at least to Toby and Mayu's state of existence specifically, did not occur and are part of an "Old Time Line".

I don't know if I mentioned it before, but that thread in specific is undergoing some changes. Things will be updated to reflect current events following the time shift, as well as update some conditions about Shamanista's current state.

Hello, everyone!

I debated the best way to approach this subject but I've never been the most spectacular at coming on easy with things.

Following the end of September, Resonance will be meeting an unfortunate neglectance for an unspecified period of time. As it stands, Toby and I both will be moving into a new place together to best facilitate our needs and interests. This puts an obvious cramp in our choices to be here. The ability to have time to sit down and write when moving into a new environment is very taxing (as some of you know!).

Obviously, we don't know what's going to happen with our circumstances. We may be able to continue playing, but I don't want to neither say we're going to be around a lot or that we're going to be disappearing. (And, knowing Toby, there will at least be some continuance within hours of the move first being completed.)

No matter what happens, I want to personally thank everyone that's interacted with my little ball of mayhem and goofballness for the past 3 years. Through good times and bad, even through those that I never interacted with directly, it's been a rewarding experience. Even if you think this message isn't for you, it really and truly is. I'll never forget how much fun everything was. You definitely are thought of fondly, constantly, and will always be.

We'll definitely give you an update in the coming weeks. The move is happening October 7th, so anything after that period of time is when everything will be put on hold.

D'awww, that's so sweet. We're not disappearing just yet. In a couple weeks, but not yet. xDDD

I can foresee us, or rather me, checking the site daily still so if you need to get a hold of either one of us, this is a good way to do it. PMs, OOC notices, whatevs.
