:: after leaving the inn, Atheala was still wondering when that 'nexus' thing with the swirly lights was gonna take her back home to her comfy bed. It brought her here for a reason, and after talking to Brian's 'wife' the reason was apparently Brian and the mayhem he was causing here. Where has he been? Doesn't he know the summer festival has started again?
Wandering around the streets in this unknown place there were many questions running around her head. Where was she gonna find Brian, what does she have to finish here, ..and what on earth is that *freaking* smell!?!?!?!
she sniffed her arm and it smelled similar, and different at the same time. What else had she smelled like this? It was fainter in the Inn...it was definately cat... was it? ...no, he had a different kinda cat smell than this one... :idea: Was there another Mithra in town!?! Could she be the reason I'm here instead of Brian?!?!?!? or maybe Brian knows this mithra....hmmmm ::

"Is anyone herrrrrrre?"

::she looks around since Mithra can be tricky. Perks her ears and pays more attention to her senses. This 'catnapping' is proving to be more interesting at every turn::

:: determined to find the owner of this smell, and in doing so another way out of Rhy'din, Atheala thought back to the other mithra she knew and how they behaved. ::

"Now if I didn't want to be found... where would a playful little catgirl hide?"

:: in a typical thinking pose she scans the area and slowly turns in place, all the while with an uncontrollable tail.
She peeks around a corner with full knowledge that no one will be there and waits for the pounce. The pounce no mithra can resist! ::

::to herself:: 'wait for it.....'

But it never came, not at all. Kerri was smarter than that, and this was a game she loved to play. No more mousey for her, now she had an equal and this would be fun. After a snickerfest, Kerri decided to closet the distance between herself and Atheala. She went so far as to use a very large lady selling goods as a human shield, and soon she was within the dreaded 'pounstance' (thats pounce distance for you non Kerrites.), her tail twitched with excitement.

Then it happened.. It ALWAYS happens!

{BarkBarkBarkYapYapYapbarkbarkYapYap!}

Mind you, it's bad enough that Mithra are part feline and do not like canines too well, but take into account our favorite Mithra was dead in the middle of a pre-pouncing prep moment. Oh that did it.. Kerri shot straight into the air and gripped a light pole that was within reach and was basically treed. She was hardly amused and it showed when she dropped down, and literally punted the small dog into a near fountain. Her form was off, it wasn't her best kick, but the power was brought and the dog learned what happened when ya cross Kerri.

Green orbs settled on her mark once more, Atheala was still where she was, and all the shirts Kerri wore and set around the area were working incredibly well. Hiding herself inside a nearby basket, Kerri watched with a grin.

"Nye he he he he.. You are mine suckah... Soap drop for that ass mistah postman. Oh yeah... Fear mah kit-tay."

Atheala became startled at the dog suddenly barking and gave a small jump. That was definately not what she was expecting. When she finally found the perpatrator, he was taking a swim in the fountain. 'That couldn't have been where he was a second ago...' she thought for a moment. 'Why would a dog bark like a maniac and then go for a swim? Angry at a fish? hmmm most unlikely.' And with yet another answer in her book of questions she continued down her list.
'Someone doesn't want to be found, and they are here avoiding me in particular. They don't like dogs, or at least that one. Hmmm I feel like Nancy Drew!' She kept her eyes on the dog and noticed that it avoided a particular area across the fountain. Figuring his attacker would be there, she investigated the area.
Scanning left to right, sniffing, listening, and pondering she took in everything as she neared the area. She smiled to the merchant woman and pretended to look through her wares, all the while getting a stronger and stronger scent. She bent down to get a closer look at the floor.

~Sneaksneaksneaksneaksneaksneaksneaksneaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaak~

Looking like good ol' Snake in that cardboard box, Kerri closed the gap on Atheala. His eyes narrowed a bit, her target nearly within range. Having to bite her tongue a bit to keep from laughing aloud, and using her hand to grab her tail to keep it still, Kerri continued.

~Sneaksneak~ ~FREEZE~ ~Sneaksneak~ ~FREEZE~

People simply looked dumbfounded as they watched this basket scuttle it's way across the area, and zone in on the unsuspecting Atheala. Some just stood there, others simply passed by and some took off in fear for themselves. Kerru paid them no mind, she was on the hunt and this was no longer the Rhy'din Marketplace. This was the Bastok Market disctrict, where she and Raven once resided. This was no longer today, but was now a few months in the past, and Kerri then, who is here now was on the hunt.

Still rummaging through things she saw a nice blue skirt with bells along the waist. "Oh! That's cuuuuute. Hmmmm How much Gil do I - woops wrong pocket- now what did I do with my munnies!"
Yes, its a shame, she has become completely distracted. "Damn it! Where did they go? Oreo better not have been stealing from me again." With a fist raised in the air she spoke defiantly, "You hear that you stingy pet?! If you can steal from me there's no point in feeding you!".
Most of the marketplace looked over, and one person even muttered 'how cruel!'. Well, all that attention certainly brought her back. Realizing the actual situation and taking it all in she became embarrassed. After a few seconds, the scuttle resumed and Athy noticed a mesmerized little boy obssesed with a basket.
"Uh? What the hell?" But she dismissed it since finding her munny was more important! "Strange kids these days. Are they that bored that they stare at baskets all day? Send 'em my way! Let's put 'em to work! Right?", she confered to the merchant at the last shop she had moved on to. (She was tracing back her steps in case it had fallen out somewhere.)
And she was back! Searching through peoples wares again, except this time for lost payment. 'Maybe I should put a chain on my munny pouch', she thought to herself as she hurriedly rummaged. 'Wasn't there something I was doign earlier?', she shook her head and focused back to her task.
