The Shambles Clinic is run twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. It employs people from all races and walks of life. This is a run-down of the various staff, and the hours they work.

Please note - while the models in the pictures are almost all female, the Shambles Clinic employs BOTH genders at an equal pay rate.

Auxilliary Staff


Reception
The Clinic employs eight receptionists, who deal with the booking in and out of patients from the Clinic, as well as liaising with relatives on behalf of the medical and nursing staff.

They work two to a shift - 6 am to 6:30 pm, and 6 pm to 6:30 am. The overlap is necessary in order for both shifts to be able to keep up with one another's work - a handover period. They alternate their break times, so the desk is never unmanned.

Porters
The Clinic employs fifteen porters on three shifts in a twenty-four hour period - four to a shift. Two work the First Floor, providing assistance with transport for patients to and from wards and clincial meetings. The other two work the Ground Floor, also assisting patients with moving around between the various points of contact with medical and nursing staff.

Their shifts are 4 am to 12 midday, 12 midday to 8 pm, and 8 pm to 4 am. They relieve one another for breaks.

Medical Staff

Medical staff also work three shifts in a 24 hour period - 6 am to 2 pm, 2 pm to 10 pm, and the night shift of 10 pm to 6 am.

Healers
The Clinic employs up to 20 Healers, who provide magical Healing for those who are fit enough to be able to withstand the physical draining of the procedure.

Each shift has two Healers available in the Treatment Area. The morning shift has one Healer on Challa ward, and another in reserve for emergencies. The afternoon shift has four Healers in the Healing Rooms, two of which are usually the Healers on the morning shift. They relieve each other for breaks.

Doctors
The Clinic employs up to 10 Doctors, who provide the standard medical treatments for patients who either can't, or won't, receive Healing. They work closely with the nursing staff, generally issuing orders and prescriptions which are then carried out by nurses and nursing assistants.

Each shift has two doctors available in the Treatment Area, and two on-call. The morning and afternoon shifts have four doctors in the Diagnosis Rooms. The morning shift also utilises one of the doctors from the Treatment Area to make the rounds on Andor and Praso Wards. They relieve each other for breaks.
