Arturo checked his messages and found one from the Marchioness. He prioritized hers and opened it first.

The message was short and sweet, she wanted Imladris entered in the Harvest Festival Horse Show.

He smiled. The chestnut stud was his personal favorite of the 6 stallions he was responsible for on behalf of the Marquess and Marchioness. He was sorry though that Anjolie Quinn had not been back and seen how this leggy colt had grown up.

He pushed away from his desk, there was a week to get a little more muscle on the colt, and he intended to be certain the boy was flawless for the local show.

He went personally to the chestnut's stall, murmuring quietly to the boy, "We need to get you clipped and ready for your owner. You wouldn't want to disappoint her, now would you?"

Big brown eyes studied Arturo as he approached with a halter. He nickered softly and dropped his head into the halter to begin a busy week.
