The winter days were becoming colder and yet still the gypsy found her spirit and even now her flesh to warm. Hands buried in the pockets of the jacket that she had managed to afford.

It was never much but it kept her warm, even she had been so bold as to take her spare coins to add a few warming layers to her skirt. Head tipped back and eyes closed as the sea air tempered and tasted at her flesh.

Leaving salt scent to paint its way in the tousled waves of the gypsy's charcoal mane. Night emeralds seemed to warm and brought to a kindled sparkle as she thought over those passing days.

Silver had returned and that had made all the difference. The bond between Kean and Ashira seemed to be growing, and an unexpected kiss had left Rona with a near permanent blush upon her cheeks.

The steps she knew perhaps in this walk of life were never so quick to be made yet sometimes those ribbons led her to a destiny she had no expectation of.

There were no complaints.

Blessings in disguise had brought her to life again. Had kindled that spark within her spirit and brought it to the warmth of a smoldering flame.

A turn from the sea even as she still heard its siren cry.

Not yet though. No matter how intimate and knowing of a lover as the Sea had been to the gypsy, this was her home.

Soon Spring would come and the prairie gold and warm heat would stretch for miles, leaving so much sunlight in her soul.

A smile upon her lips she found her way back to the Marketplace
