Note: These events are taking place on Sunday, February 25th.

Okay, so Cassie and Erin were entirely sober when they came up with the idea of starting their own slam book. Well, Erin had had to explain it to Cassie, but Cassie had agreed! Juvenile, perhaps. But amusing to them, and that was the point. And then they'd decided that they needed a warded notebook, in order to keep the contents from being discovered by someone they didn't want reading their thoughts and comments. They knew where they had to go in order to obtain such a thing. Elly. Despite the terror both of them felt when confronted by the small witch. And so it was that they set off for the Atelier.

Cassie picked Erin up, and together, they headed towards the Atelier.

Once they arrived.. Oh. Lord. The. Pumpkins. She was feeling like she'd fallen down the rabbit hole now! Cassie had promised Erin she'd protect her from the pumpkins if Erin didn't let Elly poison her, so she hurried to stand in front of Erin, ready to bat away any overly-aggressive pumkin heads. "Hello? Is anyone there? Elly?" She almost hesitated to call out, but they'd made it this far, there was no turning back now!

Erin was cowering behind Cassie once they had reached the Atelier. This place had the only thing that truly scared Erin to the core-- Puumpkinheads.

They stared at her. They leered at her. They wanted to cause her bodily harm! Erin was sure of it.

The cowering, quivering little girl was trying oh-so-hard to gain her composure. Why? She didn't want to offend Elly! Despite Elly's owning things that made her cry. In public. Elly was sweet if naive and, well, ditzy. She also had the key to many things Erin needed.

Today: The notebook.

So, she shuffled mary-janed feet behind Cassie and only cringed a little at her greeting. A deep breath... "Elly... it's us. Erin and Cassie."

Pumpkinhead traffic was a bit heavier than the norm. Door to the atelier was wide open, and pumpkinheads moved in and out, carrying various things. Most curious were odd colored bottles, creams, and towels. Most who exited the atelier simply turned, and rather than move towards the two approaching girls, they rounded the atelier and moved down the path leading down the river and through some wooded area. Now where could they be going...

The Witch wasn't in sight either. If anyone peeked in the atelier, she wouldn't be in there, though eventually one pumpkinhead broke off from the main group to approach the two girls. The little thing was wearing a...tuxedo. Really, it was, never mind the mechanics of it all! That large pumpkin head of his lowered in a bow to the duo before he gestured down the path the pumpkinheads were walking. He obviously wanted the girls to go that way too.

That winding path would be beautiful in the spring and summer, because the gardens would be blooming again, but for now? It was a bit plain. Of course there was nothing plain about the large, golden, shimmering courtyard at the end of it, which, oddly enough, felt as warm as a pleasant spring day.

She had been entirely prepared to be attacked by a swarm of pumpkin heads, so the sight of all the activity, not directed at Erin and herself, stopped her in her tracks. She snuck a look over her shoulder at Erin, bewilderment obvious on her face. Did Erin know what the heck was going on? Cassie didn't think so.

Then the James Bond pumpkin head broke away and headed in their direction. And bowed? Cassie inclined her head in return, still looking bewildered and confused. And then her eyes found that path. And the million dollar question is: Where does it lead?
Hopefully not into the lair of a crazed killer. No telling with those pumpkin heads..

She glanced at Erin again, before ambling towards the path. May as well check it out since they were there, after all. "I -think- it'll be okay.. Let's go on and see what they're doing." The path was nice enough, for winter. But she came to a dead stop when the courtyard came into view. "Wow. Are you seeing what I'm seeing?"

Erin stayed closly behind Cassie the entire way. Those Pumpkinheads were everywhere! And totally made her nervous. Her booted(hey, it was cold!) feet shuffled against the frozen ground as she moved along, eyes darting here and there to make sure she was still safe.

When they got to the courtyard Erin blinked. And blinked. And again. Then she huffed a little! Why hadn't she been clued in to this place! Elly should have invited her! She would have come here more often if she knew it were warm.

"I see it."

Erin nudged Cassie forward into the warmth, if she could go. Gates me damned! "Come on... we're sitting ducks out here." A shifty look at the Pumpkinheads. They needed to fine Elly. She could control them!

Not too far from the entrance of the golden courtyard.. was The Witch! She was laid out on a lawn chair, smile and sunglasses on her face as she basked in the warmth and glow of.. well, it wasn't certain where that warmth and glow came from, but it was there! A pumpkinhead worked to massage some sunscreen onto her bikini clad body, another fanned her face, another held a drink up to her so she could sip from the straw protruding from it.

The pumpkinhead that had motioned for the girls to go to the courtyard stepped (and had been following along) stepped forward towards The Witch, brushed past the other pumpkinheads, and poked her arm.

"Bababoobababooboobaaaaaa~"

The Witch smiled brightly as she pushed sunglasses to the top of her head. "Really~?" Without warning she swung out of the chair, nearly knocked over a couple pumpkinheads, and rose to her feet, immediately pitter pattering on towards Erin and Cassandra.

Big grins, big smiles! The Witch looked them over carefully and nodded.

"You two must be here for a makeover~!"

Cassie was bundled up in winter clothes, wearing boots as well! But she was almost immediately hot once Erin nudged her forward and she got her feet working again. "You're right, we are." Shifty eyes.

And then she stopped again once inside the courtyard. Elly was.. Sunbathing.. In a bikini.. In the middle of winter. Granted, it was quite warm. She was also thrown by the sight of the pumpkinheads in attendance to the witch.

She shrank back into Erin a little bit as Elly approached, but regained some of her composure, straightening and smiling hesitantly at the witch. Oh if only they knew how she shook on the inside! She was quite terrified of Elly, and the possible results of her magic. So when Elly jumped to a reason for them being there, she nodded enthusiastically. "Makeovers, yes!"

"Oh n--" and Cassie cut her off. Erin blinked and blinked again and came thisclose to making that famed Munch's Scream face. But she just turned it into a really strange looking smile. All her teeth showing. She looked like a possessed clown.

"Of course, Elly." Smilesmile. Erin grabbed Cassie's arm though, squeezing nice and hard. She was going to get her for this!! "I hope we aren't bothering you."

Those eyes of Erin's, however, must have looked a little loopy. She was trying to keep every Pumpkinhead in view!

Elly

The Witch grinned to both the girls, such a scary thing she was at five feet eh? "You're not bothering me at all Erin~! I'm always happy to help someone in need~!" Now just what was she implying there? Hm.

She snapped her fingers twice, and in a matter of seconds two pumpkinheads rushed from seemingly nowhere towards the ladies, both carried little bikinis, bathrobes, and towels. Nice and soft too! These items were offered over.

"We should be pampered first~! Manicures and pedicures and some of my special wraps~! Your skin will be glowing after this is all over~!"

One had to wonder if The Witch meant that in a literal manner...

Cassandra

Cassie didn't catch the possible implications. She was too busy realizing the possible consequences of her speaking before thinking. She'd realized it as soon as the words left her mouth, but unfortunately, she couldn't grab them and stuff them back in. Erin's squeeze only hastened her realizations. But she pasted on a bright smile, prepared to slog through it.

The rush of pumpkinheads was a bit disconcerting, but she didn't bolt. And she was prepared to fend for Erin! However, they weren't exactly carrying weapons. She accepted whatever was handed to her, looking a little pale. Then she perked up. Manicures? Pedicures? Wraps? That was cool with her. She hadn't had much time to stop and get a manicure lately. She was almost getting caught up in it now! She hadn't actually seen the results of an Elly makeover, so while Erin had her a little worried, it was likely that she couldn't entirely foresee the possibilities.

"Pampering is good." Nodding some, and smiling bravely at Erin.

Erin took the bikini and just... stared. Blinkblink. If anyone had bothered to notice, Erin wasn't big on showing skin. In fact.. she rarely showed anything above her knee. And never ever her middrift. Oh boy. The robe was soft though and she smiled and nodded greatfully at Elly.

No eye contact with the Pumpkins. Stay away from the Pumpkins.

"So, where's the changing room?" A brow went up as she looked around, while still trying not to make contact with anything remotely Pumpkin. Fidget.

She gave another glare at Cassie. She had to be half naked in the middle of winter with all those stupid Pumpkins to go and stare at her! This was -so- not okay with Erin. Nope.

Elly

"Pampering is the best~! I love to pamper and be pampered~!" The Witch exclaimed with absolute glee, those dimples quite apparent as widely as she grinned. "And I just change out here~!" A general motion around. "It's not like anyone will see~!"

Except the pumpkinheads.. but right, not all are as comfortable with that as she is are they? "I can set something up though if you want~" A wand was pulled from betwixt her bosom, never mind how she did that, and was waggled in the air. In her usual display of sparkles and orange smoke and a bright POOF! two small changing booths appeared before Erin and Cassandra. Perfect size for people like The Witch and Erin, but small for someone like Cassandra.

She flashed them both a smile before skittering off to speak with a pumpkinhead, and barked out a few orders, pointed, and he left to go fetch a few items.

May the gods help Erin and Cassandra.

Erin had asked the question that was on Cassie's mind. Cassie wasn't a particularly modest person, and she was pretty good at being nude, in certain situations. But the thought of changing in front of Elly and the pumpkinheads made her a little squirmy-in a bad way. The appearance of the changing booths brought on a sigh of relief. Until she realized the size. How the heck was she supposed to fit in that?

Well. It could be done. She shuffled into the dressing room, ducking to keep from banging her head against the door way and having to remain rather contorted as she wriggled out of clothes and into the bikini.

She finally emerged, wrapped up in her bathrobe and clothing bundled in her arms, and glanced about, unsure about what to do next. What could go wrong with a simple manicure and pedicure and wrap? Not much, she hoped. Poor, poor Cassie. And poor, poor Erin.

Erin was happy with the dressing room! It was Erin sized! She slid in and folded her clothes nicely, leaving them in a clean pile. Once in the bikini she looked down at herself and frowned. Way. too. much. skin. A sigh and the robe was pulled around herself, tied tightly around her waist.

She shuffled out in now bare feet, smiling weakly at the two gathered, waiting for her. Man.. it was warm in that robe in all this sun? She looked around and when she couldnt' find why it was warm, she just shrugged.

"Okay, Elly, what next?" That strangely scarey smile returned, dimples and teeth bared. There was no way Erin was drinking anything the witch handed her, though... really.

Elly

The Witch studied Erin's smile carefully for a few long moments before offering one in return. Though it dampened when she noticed the two girls were wearing the robes already. "How do you expect to get a tan wearing those~? Take them off~"

The pumpkinhead she had sent off mere moments earlier came back carrying a small box. The Witch leaned down to dig through it and pulled out a small, unmarked bottle of some sort of cream.

"This massage oil does wonders for your skin~!" Meanwhile, other pumpkinheads were dragging two more lawnchairs from..somewhere, to set next to the one that was already there. "Want massages first~? They're so-o-o~ relaxing~!"

Pumpkinheads near the lawnchairs were ready to dish out massages should they accept.

Cassandra

"Oh, right, we're going to tan first. Okay." Cassie untied the robe and pulled it off. She was cool with being in a bikini. That wasn't naked, after all. She set the robe with the rest of the clothing, and went on and took a seat in one of the chairs that had been dragged out by the pumpkinheads, shifting around until she was comfortable.

The sight of the Elly pulling a little bottle out of the box made her go apitter-patter for a few moments, until Elly identified it as massage oil. "Massages are nice. Do you have a massuese here or something?" In denial about it being the pumpkinheads? You bet!

She glanced at Erin, trying to gauge her reaction to all that was going on.

Erinalle Dunbridge

Erin was not happy, but she shed the robe. And, what was all the hiding about?

Erin was white. No, not caucasion, not peach, not any of those colors, oh no.

She was white as snow.

Yes, Erin had a terribly pale complextion. The poor dear. She smiled sheepishly, shrugging her shoulders at the pair before she looked to the garden again. "Tanning, you say? That can't be that bad... I would rather the Pumpkinheads not touch me though... I'm just... particular, you know?

An easy smile. maybe that wouldn't insult the Witch?

Elly

Date: 2007-03-04 04:10 EST
The Witch looked... disappointed? She even pouted a bit at Erin's words. "What's wrong with the pumpkinheads~? They give the best massages~?" A hint of whine in her voice, surely The Pumpkin would offer her a slice of cheese if he were there. Hearing Cassie, The Witch turned towards her and pointed to the pumpkinheads who were ready to massage the ladies. "They are~!" More whining, and even a little foot stomp.

Bigger pout, The Witch glanced between the two, slowly, because they were in bikinis after all. The ego in her had to do some comparing and contrasting, though in the end, she nodded to herself, pleased with the results she came up with in her mind.. best never shared with the world. "Well, if you're not comfortable with that, we can always get manicures first~?"

Before she had a chance to bark out the orders, pumpkinheads were already dragging out manicure and pedicure supplies, and set them out on a small table (where'd that come from anyways!?) near those three chairs. Since Cassandra was already seated one pumpkinhead approached her with a file in his clothy hand, the other extended to take hers.

Another had grabbed a small bottle of nail polish. Red, no pink, no.. green.. no.. it was.. well, it wasn't any one color actually, it seemed to change. With that bottle, he ventured towards Erin and held it up towards her.

Cassandra

"Ooh no! There's nothing wrong with the pumpkinheads.. Really.. It's just.. I'm not in the mood for a massage right now.. Yeah.." The Witch was one of the few people that she was actually afraid of, even if it wasn't her life that she worried about. No, it was more along the lines of the magic made her a tad nervous because it seemed to run away with the Witch now and then..

"A manicure would be wonderful!" Brightening a bit. She could deal with the pumpkinheads painting her nails. And she wouldn't have to upset Elly with saying she didn't want to do that either. She let the pumpkinhead take her hand, and she settled back against the chair. This, she could do. Even if it was a little strange to have a pumpkinhead doing her nails..

A glance at Erin, to be sure she was okay, and an encouraging smile.

Erinalle Dunbridge

Date: 2007-05-06 16:05 EST
Erin could do this! She could! With a breath in and then out and then in and then out, she was able to sit and offer her hands to the pumpkinhead.

Someone stop the presses.

Smilesmilesmile. Weakly pushed out. She was shaking in her chair. After a few moments and the little hand massage that went with this, she relaxed back into the echair and closed her eyes.

Perfect.

This isn't so bad...
