When word reached The Witch's ears of people invading her (stolen) land she wasn't at all put off by that fact. She was, actually, rather excited. Daydreams of who the invaders were faded in and out of her mind as the pegasus she was perched upon galloped down one of the roads near her atelier. It had to have been one of her many admirers, but who? Could it have been Alain coming to rekindle their romance? Never mind the fact it existed in her mind and her mind alone... Perhaps Corlanthis wanted to become engaged again? Could it have been one of the O'Corr brothers she was oh so fond of? Or even Soerl, seeking redemption for his treacherous ways?

All the thoughts made The Witch giggle happily to herself, to which Peggy, her rainbow colored steed, snorted softly in response. Trailing behind the pair were a couple armored skeletons who moved quietly, save for the rattling of armor and teeth.

A scent that wasn't natural to autumn woods caught The Witch's attention.

Bringing Peggy to a halt, she sniffed at the air to make out the scent. It was... strawberry. Lemons. Oranges. Grapes. So many fruits!

"Mmm~!"

Not at all one for caution, the little witch hopped off Peggy and peered around, eyes wide with wonder as she sought out the source of the delicious smells. It wasn't long at all before something off in the distance shuddered and seemed to wiggle before approaching the direction of The Witch and her party. The skeletons, more cautious, stepped closer to the little one in a protective manner. Their guard seemed to lower, however, when what approached came into view.

It was unlike anything the skeletons had seen, which was saying a lot considering who they lived with. It wiggled, and was made of a translucent gel-like substance. Dark purple, though they hadn't the noses to pick up the scent of grape that wafted around the wobbly creature-man.

"Oh, wow~!"

Clapping her hands in delight, The Witch ran forward to meet the jiggly one. "You smell so good~!" Invading the jiggly one's space, she leaned close and made a show of inhaling deeply. "Just like grape~!"

The still cautious skeletons hung back a few feet. Peggy, being the one of the group with the most common sense, started backtracking down the path in the event of anything unfortunate happening.

As the jiggly one jiggled, The Witch responded in kind by wiggling her hips to and fro as she did a bit of a shimmy. "Can I take you home with me~?" The sentence barely had a chance to leave her lips before she was accosted with a very squishy hug. Squeaking and giggling, she returned the hug in kind. "So soft~ I'm gonna name you Grapey~" Curious if Grapey tasted as delicious as he smelled, she unabashedly licked his shoulder in the midst of their hug. He was, in fact, quite delicious.

One of the two skeletons was rather unhappy, and perhaps even jealous, at this turn of events. Worried over the safety of The Witch, he clattered forward and reached out to grasp one of the arms of 'Grapey'. The Witch stepped back in surprise, blinking rapidly, but Grapey seemed rather unphased, even as the skeleton's hand moved right through the goo that was his arm.

What ensued was a mighty, epic battle between two not quite men warriors that lasted for all of two minutes at the most. The end result was that Grapey had managed to overpower the skeleton, who now resided helplessly inside Grapey. He was a man with grape jello skin and a skeleton one could see beneath the surface, armored and all. Truth be told, he looked like a pretty snazzy science project, which was exactly why The Witch was so enthralled by him.

"Oh, you two joined together~! How neat~!" Clapping in delight once more, she carefully looked over the Skello Man. "Skelly looks much nicer with skin now~ And he smells better too~" Sniffing at the air again, her joy was cut off as the Skello Man turned to start wandering down the road, just a little more sturdy now, in the opposite direction of which she stood. "Where are you going~!?"

The Witch turned around to get back on Peggy so she could give chase, but was rather disheartened to find herself now very much alone. She turned back to find her new pet missing and promptly pouted.

Hopefully he would turn up again.
