Erin was a Christian. Not Catholic, entirely, she had been raised Anglican with a strong Catholic bent. Her Nana, part Irish(a tightly guarded secret) had taught her the rosary and given her a crucifix. She felt for these people.

Weak. That's what she was. Weak and human. Many had warned Erin. Do not go into the Temple District. That is a place for no mortal. And certainly no Catholic mortal. Right?

Erin had gotten herself a new job. A job working for Kitty. A secretary of sorts. And her boss? Overworked, overwhelmed and busy with all the turmoil going on in the city... so Erin set about a task herself.

She had seen the boy in the inn. 137 he called himself. Beaten, mistreated, and witness to all sorts of hell. "Burning" was the only word he could say at first. His home was burning. It flashed so much in her eyes. And how many other children? Wandering in dangerous streets?

It was unacceptable.

She was sitting in Kitty's office making a few phone calls here and there. She found healers, nurses, and those with some experience(it wasn't surprising how many people in Rhydin were already in exile..). She found a cheap empty hotel near the WestEnd/Dockside where she lived. Just at the gate. It still seemed somewhat safe there, and she had even visited.

The building would hold a few hundred people. It would be perfect. Now she just had to work on getting people to it. Where medical supplies and food was plentiful. She needed to talk to those on the ground there. Set up a pipeline of sorts...

Erin sent a letter for the leaders of the Catholics. Unbeknownst to her: Karen Wilder
