It wasn't until late in the night that Storm came across the Old Temple District. She still had a few hours before training with Janet, but she had taken the liberty to start patrolling around this area. Dressed from the neck down in black, the nimble Air Elemental was using that as an excuse for more personal investigation.

It didn't take much work for Storm to uncover the news of the golden-elf-turned-vampire who had defeated all of the mages and wizards to obtain access to the Towers. All of this within a matter of time.. and somehow she had missed it! She used a small access to the Tower when needed - being a Guardian.. and the Divine at that, it wasn't a problem. So the Towers were still in working order for now. But why would one person want control of all of them? Personal wants, Ewan had said. But... it was so much work.

Storm started to draw closer to the Temple of Myr'Khul, apparently the location of the new Tower Guardian. People on the streets have said that he hasn't come out yet, not since he obtained the last key.. the key to the Air Tower.

She blended into the shadows, quiet feet along dark cobblestone as her grey eyes were sharp for others. She was also accessing through the Air, pressing for hidden traps, or shields. She was still so unsure.. and taking a big risk, mind you. So, for now she remained a safe distance away, though her dimly glowing grey eyes were glued onto the Temple. Perhaps, during the day, she could go inside? This was her next asignment, as all of the other Guardians gladly agreed. Make the Divine handle the problem. Wonderful.

Storm continued to watch the Temple from her hidden spot, grey eyes wary for anyone to pass by. The District seemed relatively quiet.. that is, until some drunk decided to make his presence known. Storm rolled her eyes in disgust, before her attention went back to the Temple. She knew that watching the temple for hours every night wasn't going to get her very far. And she was an unknown face in this certain district. The portal to Twilight Island was not that far.. why didn't she just go visit the Towers herself? Because she had made a promise to not go to the Towers herself. She very nearly regretted her decision. She struggled with the internal debate to just go herself.. but the promise was to Ewan. And almost no secrets of hers past that man. None.. but her darkness and deepest secrets. She would just... go look. She wouldn't even get near them by herself. Wasn't that reasonable.? Yes, she told herself... a perfect compromise indeed. And so she was off with the shadows to conceal her moving form.

Once she entered the portal and went through to Isle of Twilight, it took her a few moments, to retain her sense of direction. But first, she made sure that she was in a concealed spot.. no need to be spotted when she didn't know where she was. She hardly ever came here... there was no need. Until now. She accessed her element to sense where the closest one was... the Water Tower. And so, she platformed herself onto the roofs, and started with a swift but nimble run. Quiet bare feet felt no pain against the roof tops. The Air had perfect balance, and was able to be entirely silent through her brisk run towards the lagoon. She could catch sight of it just now, the smallest movement form the large tower. Her breath was seen like a train, fogging behind her. If only she had remembered her cloak.. but the run was warming her up.

She stopped, still several hundred yards away... but she didn't need to be any closer. Her grey eyes were already wide at the sight upon her. It was so.. tainted. That was the only way she could describe it. Blackness wielded in with what was once the purest water. And this was only one tower... what of the others? She had to warn everyone.. any accessing to these Towers was not safe. Safe... what time is it? She cursed under her breath, and started her sprint towards the portal... she couldn't be late to meet Janet.. it would only add to the suspicion.

This was going to be a regular habit... she would only be losing a few hours of sleep.

Even though she barely had that.

It had taken so much convincing on her own part, to come back. After her disappearance, there was then the horrid mess within the Old Temple District that she simply could not enter. She was took weak, physically, emotionally, and mentally. And though she may not be up to par in all, she found herself clothed in black again, her feet heavily bandaged her night out.

Stealth was the key here, becoming one with what she was, the Air. There were more people out than the last time she was around, probably due to the mass murders. She still didn't know how it ended fully.. or if it was indeed truly over. She just could not wait any longer. Time could no longer be delayed.

She spent her first few hours just watching the Temple, those who went in and out. If any word came from it. She settled into a dark corner in an alley with a wonderous view, and waited. Patience was usually something not tagged on the Elemental, but for this, it was the only thing she had. Time was hers for learning, gathering information, and making plans if needed be.

The streets and those upon it gave no way of what she was searching for. Perhaps her concerns were long gone, and with her absence, taken care of. But she had to be sure. Had to check.

With the same utter silence as before, she made her way through the portal and towards the home of the Towers. Again, it took only a moment of adjusting, before she headed towards the lagoon. At least it was a place that she had been before. And so, she was not risking as much. She brought herself onto the roofs again, and started to silent and nimble leaping towards the Water Tower. She was surprised, how less her body could handle with just a month.

All it meant was that she was going to have to work extra hard.

She could see her hot breath still as she stopped instantly, her grace around gravity saving her from plummeting to the ground face first.

Nothing had changed. It was still so utterly tainted.

She bit on her bottom lip as she hoped off the roof to land silently. Maybe if she just went closer... she could get a better look..
