The Known Lands:

The *Known Lands* are in reference to the lands known by those within them; Relatively small in comparison to the rest of the world. What other people in the other places know, remains to be discovered ....

Below is a description of the lands around Exodii City. These are the *Known Lands* including the Outlands, the Nomads and everything within the circle of antimagic zone.

Note: The Antimagic zone is where Magic does not function. Inside and outside of the proverbial antimagic circle/ring, magic works. The zone can be as thin in width as 10 yards or as thick as 50 miles. It e:xtends upwards for as much as 4000 feet in the thinner areas or as little as 200 feet high over the thicker places. Cities at the core are Exodii, Halexville, Zyphon and Magril. Since the Change, many things have been developed. Technology has increased considerably, due to Tylban and Luke Gigas who between them developed driods that were left behind allowing Alexander Woodshadow-Arrowny to further their research and development.

The two original andriods, (Mr.) Rock and (Ms.) Roll, are known in all the major cities and have been reproducing more andriods to deploy themselves to assist each of the known major cities with their own development. Some of the more advanced driods are sentient, though this has been a sore spot of debate in some of the cities, Magril being the harshest. These sentient droids appear to be humanoid with odd variations, such as metalic colored hair, eyes and/or skin.

To encourage peace and development, a solar train was built by the driods, Alexander and various teams from each city to place a trade line between Halexville and the triangle of Exodii, Zyphon and Magril. Passage from Halexville to the other major cities must go through Exodii first and visa versa.

The path of the train has been designed so that there is no crossing of people or wildlife in the path of the train. There is a clear tube that the train travels in made of clear plastic polymer material that is harder then steel and strong enough to contain all or most of a huge major accident. Also, normal crossroads either go over or under the train route preventing accidents with travelers or needless delays.

Exodii City is located in the center of the Known lands, near the top of the mountain chain that runs Northeast/southwest along the northwest coast to the Sea of Life.

Exodii City, basic Map:

Exodii is still the seat of power in the known lands, even though a more democratic approach has risen since the absence of the Woodshadows, specifically Excalibar, and the disappearance of Castle Woodshadow. It used to reside at the top of the mountain above Exodii City. No one knows why it disappeared but some speculate it is related to Excalibar's disappearance prior to the Castle.

Much reverence and respect is still held towards the Woodshadow family, who had single-handedly shaped so much of their lands and world to what it is today. Reverence and, in some goups, worship is extended to those known to help during the Change. Thus the names, Pyriathin, Sharalis, Sha'uri and Rick Nightstar are widely used as the most commonly known entities involved, though they were not the only ones.

Shrines to Pyriathin and Sharalis are known to many as Gods of Balance and Magic. Rick and Sha'uri are more widely accepted as Epic Heros though there are some who would argue they are more. She being the Guardian of Souls, combined with Rick, a Lord of Protection, during the Change, some say into one entity worthy of being a God...

Central Park in Exodii City harbors a shrine of statues and holograms, some to honor seats of power in the city, some honoring their families, most notably the line of Woodshadows. The biggest display, though, is the set depicting the change of Secak, the Gods and entities who banded together and how Exodii was saved by them. Other areas of the park include beautiful foiliage and flowers lined paths, fountains, playground and secluded alcoves for picnics and such. It is a quiet get away in the center of town.

The East/West Train Route runs from Halexville, through Exodii and west into Zyphon. The train is environmentally friendly running on solar power and magnetic energies. It is encased in a see through protective tube that keeps the system running year round and protects the environment and animals from hazards they might otherwise be exposed to. The route is also designed so that there are no crossings that anyone has to wait to hazard a chance to cross. The tube dips below ground intermittently to allow traffic to cross above it freely. Otherwise the train is mostly above ground.

The Skyport is a huge port for the airways and spaceships capable of atmospheric flight. It sits next to the North/South Trade Route and the East/West Train Route. Easy access to both facilites is available for transfer of cargo. It is part of the heart of the Trade Routes in Exodii, centralizing routes North, South, East, West and skyward to the stars.

Woodshadow Lands and Compoundare large enough to be a city to themselves. House Woodshadow was once a formidable force and the main protector of Exodii City. The land is divided into two main sections, Castle Grounds to the north and east, and the Woodlands to the south and west.

Castle Woodshadow has become a place of unknown and endless fear. No one enters or leaves the Castle grounds. A great Void obscures light and vision to it's center. Where once stood a magnificent castle, emptiness now resides. No one knows why it's gone, only that it is. No one ventures in because of the fear and dread that washes over everyone who tries to walk past the castle gates. No one is immune to its effects. They say even the gods fear to tread in there. No scans, no divination bring forth any information. All anyone knows is that something happened there, but no one knows what or why.. and the castle appears to be gone.

The Woodshadow lands that lay south and west of the castle harbor a great forest and complex of one of the members of Woodshadow Castle. Tylban and Luke Gigas still have a working complex that the remaining members of the House dub as home.

Gigas Manor resides within the Woodshadow lands. It is now a home to Alexander Woodshadow when he's not in RhyDin or at the Exodian Forces Complex. He has worked with his uncle since he was a small boy. His uncle, who had disappeared years ago, created the droids Rock and Roll. He disappeared years ago and Alex expanded upon the work Tylban left behind. Namely, Rock and Roll. With the two droids, Alex then help create a sentient race of androids. Production of the droids has been expanded into Halexville, a place of both magic and technology as advanced as Exodii has become.

Halexville. To the east of Exodii by about 100 miles is Halexville, which was a former death trap of the ruins of the former magical seat of power in Secak. It was a school long ago for the extra planar beings, fallen to ruin with magical death traps but has since been cleansed of the traps by the Change and renovated by the elves as a place of peace and learning of many trades, including advanced technology and research.

The city, redesigned by the elves, blends well with the natural mountainous/rainforest type climate next to the sea and can sometimes be walked into without realizing one is in a city until they've ventured some distance into it.

Zyphon is fifty miles Northwest of Exodii, is the main source of fresh water fishing. It is also beginning to do heavy research and development for aquatic aspects and is fast becomming a source of income for their struggling town to thrive upon.

Magril is 100 miles south west and is still the underground city of Dwarves, even unto this day. The city thrives on mining and related aspects, such as geology and vulcanism, holding the highest of research and developments in these areas.

Out Lands: These lands now wrap around the known lands and have several small towns scattered, dotted along the countryside. It's mostly farmlands these days. Since the change, crime in this area has deminished considerably and the lands with its people are flourishing, or so it seems...

Nomads: These are mostly groups of people who wander these lands. Hunting is their prime regiment and the source of their trading ability. It seems to be the seat of many wild elves... who are still very protective of what is left of their sacred places.
