Calendar Months - coincide with RhyDin's Calendar. i.e. January, February, March, etc... They also apply to the Known Lands and are not necessarily used by others on Exodii planet or in the System, nor are the holidays the same used by those outside of them.

New Years Day - Marks the first day of the year, coincides with the RhyDin New Year in an attempt to keep times symetrical to RhyDin where a large portion of trade occurs. It is also a time to Reflect on the past and Remember those who have passed on to the next life.

Spring Fest - A recent holiday held for three days in mid May when one or especially both of the moons are full. It is to celebrate life saved and given in reflection of The Change. It is also to celebrate the shift from winter to summer, the coming warmer months and the good times to come in them. It is a time to Reflect, to think on New Beginnings. Many use this time to reflect on their lives and to make vows of change just as many do this on New Years in RhyDin.

Summer Solstice - This is the longest day of the year and most people do not work this day but instead take time to enjoy it, to relax and just frolic with one another. It is a time of Play.

Harvest Fest - It is a celebration of the fruits of labor held during the first week of October. This week long celebration is used to give thanks for all the hard work that has been done throughout the year and for the harvest of food that will supply them through the next. It is a time of Thanksgiving to the gods for life and love, for the growth and prosperity and for the beauty they give.

Winter Solstice - This is the longest day of the year and is often celebrated from a week prior to a week after the day. On Exodii planet, it is the coldest time of the year and usually the climate is too cold to be outside any more then an hour or two at most. Nothing gets done in that environment and most travel comes to a stand still. So the people stay inside and celebrate their existence, using it as a time to give gifts to one another to show their Appreciation for others. It is a time of Love and Giving. It is also a time of romance. Mistletoe has been adopted as the most prominent symbol of the season as many find the stuff hanging in doorways and archways and many other odd places, prompting hugs and/or kisses to be exchanged between two people standing under the plant.
