The town buzzed with talk as the Citadel lifted from its two year long station just south of the city. They watched in awe and wonder, buzzing over the reasons for its departure. The portals had been closed for some time, but that had little effect on the City. Most in the City had been dormant through the terribly cold winter months anyway, so a few weeks more was not a problem to them.

Several weeks passed...

As the planet began to thaw from the frigid Mid winter months, life slowly began to return to Exodii City. Though diminished comparatively, the buzz still continued over the Citadel and the recent developments.

Some spread rumors of political unrest and treason within it... some were sure there had been a family feud that tore them apart.... others drew tales of Sha'uri's demise, insanity caused by the loss of her child.

Everyone knew it had happened. Everyone knew that some of the Citadel people came to live in town while others left to the stars separate from the citadel itself. It was several weeks before it all finally died down and only became murmurs, vague comments, during the dinner tables.

Life was returning to a normal cue, the portal to RhyDin had been opened again. Though now the portals to the Citadel were still locked up tight. People quickly realized it was best not to ask, just let the matter lie.

It was back to business as usual... people began to breathe again.
