The Exodian Forces Compound was located a few miles south of Exodii City, west of the North/South Trade Route and along the south eastern edge of the lake.

Above ground, one might see a thick forrest with a single road that wound itself from the North/South Road and west towards the lake. The road ended with a circle turnaround and a lonely single guardshack to the south of the road. Further south by about a hundred yards are two other warehouse buildings.

The guardshack, a smaller warehouse type building, has a utility elevator which drops several thousand feet down below ground to the bunkers, labs and quarters of the Exodian Forces. Everything they need to work, live, survive and research is located in this highly protected area. Technology on Exodii is at its highest within this complex here. Security measures even higher incorporating both technology and magic to prevent intrusions of any kind, scrying, teleportations of physical, mental and dimensional. One simply can't cross from inside the complex to outside or visa versa without being allowed.

Security around the perimiter is tight from the road and south. There is always some type of shielding in this area preventing anyone from teleportation of any kind without the knowledge and permission of the Exodian Forces. The technology is geared from both a scientific and magical nature. Most teleportation is allowed on the road or north of it except during times of Red Alert or Lock down status. Then the area North is also shielded to prevent such things.

Flight into the complex is always carefully monitored. Exodii City Landing Pad facility is well aware of the area marked for no flight zone above and around the Exodian Forces Compound. They have strict orders to never cross into or lead a flight into the No Flight Zone over and around the Compound. Any violation is met with swift and just consequences... and if necessary they will outright destroy an intruder.

The Exodian Forces Landing Pad is strictly only for use by the Exodian Forces and those they give permission to. It is located along the cliffs that over look the lake. The cliffs were well over a hundred feet high and large tunnels dug to accomodate most shuttles, fighters and smaller ships.

There is a larger landing pad access above these tunnels, about a mile due south of the guardshack. It is capable of allowing for bigger ships, but most times was not used and kept well hidden. A forcefield surrounds the outside edge to keep wildlife and others out of this landing pad area.

The camoufluage covering the landing pad was designed by Alex Arrowny and a few other Elven and Dwarven top military engineers. It looked like a forrest but was not an illusion on most days. Exceptionally well crafted fake trees, bushes and other fake shrubbery covered the landscape about a quarter mile round the landing pad and over it. Dwarven technology crafted the lid on the landing pad to appear as ground. The whole lid would then seem to break apart, drop and tuck back under the land, leaving a huge gaping hole for larger craft to land down inside of when the need to use it was ordered.

While this exposed the landing pad as a giant hole in the ground, holographic emmitters were ready to continue with an holographic illusion of the forrest undisturbed without the hole. Sensors with the right access code during that time would be able to detect the hole as a hole and would be able to manuever past the illusion in order to land. Otherwise, sensors would indicate it was ground. The pad itself was huge, every bit as big as the public landing pad in Exodii.

The landing tunnels on the side of the cliff, which were more often used, actually lead back under the ground and to this larger hidden landing pad.
