So this is for posting whatever needs to be said out of character. Which probably won't be a lot! However for those that need to know, I won't be on from the 5th to the 13th. I'll be invading the states in search of the fabled Twinkies and Zotz.

Back from the land of twinkies (though zotz remained elusive) - and finally finished with the Lusus Naturae thread. The tail end of it is where I began playing around on the boards here so - locked.

Just a thank you to Viki's mun for posting here, and a note to let those of you that write with Samiel's player know that he's going to be offline a while longer, which sucks, but he says "Hi" =]

Just a note to say it's great to see Fading Light back in action! All of the threads are great, obviously, but I wanted to give a special round of props for 'A Year in Mourning' for being able to visualize it all perfectly and another for 'Karma', to both you and Aoife's writer. You guys did an amazing job with that, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the approval! Totally Samiel mun's past descriptions of the Dry that inspired the Mourning piece. I kick myself these days for never remembering to log in those days. And thanks to Aoife's player for the fun in Karma, having their situations reversed was hilarious to me, even if not to Mesteno.
He's still incredulous.
And on a final note, thanks to everyone I've played with since dragging Mesteno back into the public eye. You know who you are. =]

Also - to echo Bjorn - Karma and A Year in Mourning have been great reads! I hope to see more. :D

Thank you Vera-player! I've passed on the approval to Aoife too. And thanks for having your girl be such a good sport when Mesteno's so crude to her.

A big thank you to the writer's connected to the Karma thread, Aoife, Gideon and Salvador. It's been a blast so far. Thank you for putting up with my sh**ty time zone issues and being willing to have your characters maimed (even if only temporarily.)
Who doesn't love maimings?

I love maimings. I love them a LOT.
And you should know I'm ALWAYS eager and willing to play with you, live or in writing. Always have been. Always will. All you have to do is get demanding at me. ;)
LOVE the Karma thread. Aoife and I are working furiously on an addition for you, too. Stay tuned!

There's a Part 1 for you in the Karma thread. Still hashing out the details of her getting fixed up, but we're almost done. Probably another day or two. Thought we'd split what we've been working on into parts, because LONG POST IS LONG. Give you a little bit to nibble on in the meantime. ;)

Apologies that I'm not very varied in my reasons for posting in this folder, but here we go with another 'thank you'. This time it's for Gideon's writer on the recently completed Debitum Naturae thread. It was great fun to write, and you're a saint for doing all the posting, because I am obviously far too busy and important or something (i.e. lazy...except for that last one where you beat me to it by half a second.)

I have to say that reading anything you two collaborate on (Bjorn's writer and yourself) is like taking a dip into an actual book. I love, love, love it -- and adore you two, as well. <3 Can't wait to read more!

Belated thank you to the writer of Peaches. :) Very much, actually, that means a lot to me. But I have to give all the credit to Mesteno's writer - best writer I've ever known with the best stories I've ever read, all credit goes to them, I just try to my best to keep up and am grateful they write stories with me!

Mesteno: Um.. an hour should work. Ho ho, a dinner pun XD
Bjorn: ROFL F***. Damn unintentional pans. XD
Bjorn: PUNS
Bjorn: UGH
Mesteno: lmfao
Bjorn: I'M HUNGRY OBVIOUSLY

Mesteno had this art done for our boys, Mesteno and Evander! I am sharing it here because even if Mesteno has Evander's nose and they forgot Evander's hair was supposed to be long, I love it so, so hard. From the artist Avali (but don't hire her because this was art ordered in May of last year and we never thought we'd actually see it!) This is amazing in spite of the imperfections and I keep looking at it. Forever.
Very nice looking (even with all the imperfections yes)! Thanks for sharing!

In regards to all the post deletions:
This was done deliberately, and as a courtesy to my very talented writing partner whom I want to be comfortable with the content of what gets posted here. Logs in future are likely to be sporadic and of a less srs bzns nature. I'll try and keep the folder alive with journal stuff and monologues.

So the folder is back after a lengthy absence (a hiatus followed by struggling inspiration). Hopefully I'll be posting again on a regular basis, time permitting. Thanks to everyone who has had the patience to write with me over the past half-year while I shook off my writing stage fright. It's been much appreciated! And thanks to the mods for reinstating the folder from the catacombs, too =]

Thanks Alain and Josette for the kind words! I'll be sure to pass them on to my co-conspirators. =)
And as an aside, thanks to everyone that writes with me, and who've allowed their work to be posted here, most recently Lexius, Pharlen, Gem, Eden and Ransom. I've enjoyed every minute.
And a special thanks to Sal and Alain - the former for snooping on play in the docks one day, and pointing things out to Alain. The latter for being so inclusive when I came asking for writing fodder.

Also, many thanks to Alain for the kind words and for being enthusiastic about our involvement in the Cleanse SL. And thank you to the little birdy who put the word in Alain's ear, too.

With AIM announcing its retirement in December, I just wanted to let people know I'm going to be switching over to Trillian for my choice of messenger. If anyone else is doing likewise and would like to keep in touch, please don't hesitate to send me a PM with your screen name so I can add you. Alternately, if you're heading over to google hangouts, I'll check in there every now and then, so a gmail is fine too.
