Abby was bored. She'd run out of things to wallpaper in her new apartment, and the t.v. was broken again. Well, actually, she'd thrown it out the window again, but that's besides the point.

She needed something to do, someone to annoy. Sigh.

As she stared out the window of her new flat, she tossed bits of popcorn at passersby, aiming especially for ladies with plunging necklines.

By day, it was sooo boring. She knew that tonight, the Fairy Goth Mother would make another appearance in Rhydin, but until then..what to do?

She was panting, exhausted, as she flew in her door, slamming it shut behind her. Her sobs had been silent, but she let them go, loud and shuddering. She had been scared out of her wits tonight at the Red Dragon by some guy, and had not recovered on the run all the way home.

Locking every bolt, dead bolt, and shoving every stick of furniture she had in front of the door, she whimpered and gasped from fear. Abby hadn't been scared like this since the day her therapist had bound her, cranking the radio up so no one could hear her screaming, and had...well, she didn't want to think about that now. She'd gotten free and had fingerpainted with his blood after she'd killed him.

Huddling against the far wall of her now bare apartment, Abby rocked back and forth, telling herself nursery rhymes and fairy tales in a hoarse, high pitched voice. She wished she had friends in this town whom she could have run to, but other than her bosses, she had no one.

Abby was dragging her new toy, the orb Skid had given her, to it's regal place in the center of her living room. It was damned heavy.

Grunting, she grinned as it was finally in place, and she sat cross legged before it, staring into it's dark depths. Okay. So...scrying orb. Um...now what?
