Quietness, Was the only sound she heard every morning she woke up. Not even a dripping faucet was to be heard in the huge manor. Her eyes opened to the bright sun that shone in her face, and the gentle breeze that blew her curtain gently as it didn't even seem to make a noise. Her pretty little emerald eyes looked over to the rippling curtain before she sat up giving a mighty yawn stretching her arms. Standing up she went to her dresser, pulling out appropiate clothing for the day. She stood there getting ready looking over to the picture and the letter that was sat there wide open.
Her face saddened. They were both from Ness. He had been gone for quite a while now, and she wondered about him almost every day. She sure hoped he was enjoying himself back home. Perhaps he would be enjoying himself to much, and not want to come back. The little thought struck fear in her heart as she turned both pieces of paper over. She didn't want to think about it.
Down the steps she went, her footsteps seemed to echo throughout the manor. Into the kitchen she went, grabbing some pancake batter out of the fridge and warmed a pan up making herself breakfast. Sure she was young, but her cooking skills were almost top notch. Using a spatula to put her pancakes down on a plate, she made her way to the table, smothering them in strawberries, apples and whipped cream, a little cherry ontop.
She grabbed her butterknife and fork, digging into the pancakes, putting some in her mouth. Before she knew it she was just there, picking at the pancake. She didn't feel much like eating. She looked to a distant picture in the room of her two brothers and frowned. She had not seen them at all either. Either they wern't home, or might of got home when she was sleeping. She missed them too. pushing the one bite of eaten pancakes in the garbage she washed her plate. She always liked being alone, but these people had made her feel so comfortable, she did not want to tear herself away from them. Into the living room she went, plopping on the couch laying her head down on the pillow thinking about the whole clan.
