It was truley an infernal firey pit outside. Anyone without the assistance of water, or proper shading was sure to keel over in writhing pain once those suns rays touched the base of the flesh. If anyone was smart, they'd stay inside, but those who dared to go out suffered.

White sandles tapped the smoking hot concrete. One by one they stepped infront of eachother seeming to be set on a locked path. A lovely white dress curved around the tiny figure to dance along with her legs as they moved. Simply two small straps held the dress up perfectly to keep enough flesh exposed to let a breeze pass by and give a refreshing feel. Beautifully blonde wavy hair was pinned to the side, hanging down over one shoulder, A hat placed upon the head with a pink ribbon tied around the top to keep the suns rays out of her face. It certainly looked like she was dressed for easter..but no..it was just her outfit of the day.

In her arms she carried a boquet of multi-colored flowers. She had been specially growing them for about a month now around the manor, mostly thought to spruce the place up. But she had a different mission now seeing they were in full bloom. She was to take them to someone..somene who she cared for deeply.

Legs stopped moving as emerald eyes peeked upon the church. Her rosey red cheeks had a small salty tear coming down them as she didn't realize she had even shed one. She was a bit scared to move inside..it had been quite a while since she seen him after all.

She pushed the doors open slowley, as the sound seemed to echo throughout the empty church. She didn't expect nothing less. It seemed alot cooler in there, which was good for her because she needed a moment to cool off. The door shut gently behind her as she walked foward.

The pews were simply vacant. Eyes glanced over them mometarily as she had no idea where to go. She had never done this before...

Most people would go to a graveyard to offer flowers to one who had passed..but the body was never found. And she had heard Rumors from her brother that he had been seen lurking around the church. Clutching the flowers tightly in her hands she frowned.

"Jonas?"

She was quite hesitant with her words. She had never believed that angels and demons actually existed..until she came to Rhy'din that was. She didn't expect him to come out and greet her, she was just hoping he heard her prayer.

"Jonas...it's been a long time..I-I'm sorry If I'm disturbing you. I never got to say goodbye..or all the things i wanted to thank you for..."

She took a deep breath. Talking was never her forte, but to her brother..she felt like she could go on forever.

"You've been such a great person to me..taking me into your family like that..and I grew attatched.. to both you and Dameon, somthing i never thought i could do..but you were ripped from my life as soon as you came into it..."

She had to pause in between her words trying to hold back her tears.

"It just hurts to not have you here!"

She took a deep breath letting the tears fall from her face now, right down her little sunburned cheeks.

"I hope you enjoy where you are..please rest in peace. I-I love you...dear brother."

Placing her lips to the flowers She kissed them softly, sort of burrying her face into the colorful petals trying to soak up her tears. She stood there silently just sobbing, trying to think of a place she could put the flowers.

Maven Jonas

The church bell began ringing quietly as Kira buried her face within the bouquet of flowers. From the top of the bell tower came down a soft breeze, flowing through the church and giving the inside a crisp cool-down. The smell of fresh lilies could be detected in the air.

The candles around the altar, as though taking on a life of their own, lit up all at once. As they cast a solemn glow upon the cross behind the pedestal, the image of a small blond teenager with green eyes flickered into view sitting upon the front altar. He was bundled in a long white robe, which was semi-shrouded behind a blue hooded cloak.

"Weep not for me," the boy said, standing up to reveal a pair of white feathered wings emerging from underneath his cloak. "I wouldn't want my favorite girl in the world crying over something that needed to be done."

He walked over toward Kira, peering into her innocent face, and smiling at her beauty which was now amplified by the candlelight.

"The thing about angels, Kira, is that we never truly die. We don't fade into the darkness the way wicked mortals tend to do. Nor do we fully ascend into the light the way virtuous souls do."

He stopped before her, his eyes glistening in the light and his bottom lip quivering slightly.

"I spent time after my fall contemplating the events leading up to it in the quiet solace of the other realm. An alarm was shortly sounded, being heard by any spectral angel of virtuous nature. This alarm was set off by the self-realization of one close to our family."

"With this event, I was charged with the guidance of this soul. This person needs my help now. This is now my purpose. I've been given the task of being her guardian angel, as it were."

He then smiled softly, sighing a bit before continuing.

"But through all of this, my fall from the mortal coil, the quiet solace of the afterlife and my new spiritual calling," he said with a deep breath, "all I could regret was not seeing my sister one last time. You should know, Kira, that I loved you and still do. I trust that the other's are taking care of you in these dark times."

"Our brother," he concluded, "should be arriving back in the city soon. You must tell him for me that the final battle with the Demon is imminent. And tell him to seek out Miss Lerida. She can connect us."

And with a silent smile, the figure of Jonas faded into nothingness as a gentle hand moved to caress Kira's cheek, though she would feel nothing.

Those Glassy emerald eyes of hers only stared into the altar for a long moment as she reflected on her brother. Those lovely petals looked like they dripped with morning dew drops, the way her tears just seemed to roll off of them. Her hair started to shift as she held onto her dress now, feeling the crisp breeze. Mixed with the bells.. it just seemed so..relaxing.

Orangish Yellow Flames Danced in her eyes. If anything It startled her. She started to back up slowley feeling her heart race with every second longer she was in the church. She thought she was the only one in there. Usually she would of High-tailed it out of there by now..but there was a feeling that made her want to stay.

The boy with blonde hair was quite a surprise to her. She didn't even recognize who it was. He seemed to give her more of a feeling of peace, then nervousness though. A hand placed over her mouth as she gasped seeing those gorgeous white wings.

She had to close her eyes for a moment as the tear drops continually ran down her cheeks. His voice was soothing. Everything about him seemed like only a dream, but when she opened her eyes once more what did she see? The reality, he was standing right infront of her.

She did what she always did. Remain quiet. She wanted to reach out and give him a hug, but somthing kept her from doing so. She just watched his figure stand infront of her and speak.

And before she knew it, he was already fading from her view. Being torn from her once again. She reached up for the hand that went to caress her cheek, only to find her fingers touching the palm of her hand. He was gone.

Almost like that the candles were out. She stepped foward kneeling down at the alter, placing a kiss to the lovely flowers and placing them infront of it. Looking up to the tower, listening to the church bells ring, she stood up, making her way out of the safe haven. Back into the infernal firey pit.
