She remembered following him outside. She'd been worried for him. He'd drank so much tonight. She remembered taking the concoction from Icer to deliver to him, for him to drink of it to quell his drunken state. She remembered standing in front of him and watching him drink it down and then there was nothing...
When she'd come to, she'd been standing there in front of him. He looked so different...she felt so very ill. What had happened to her? Her first conscious fear was that Jupiter's Demon had attacked her psyche again and she'd been unable to stay conscious for the duration of it all. Her head ached so horrendously it caused fits and waves of nausea to overcome her. She'd stumbled back from Feilas and stuttered. She was trying to make sense of what he was saying to her...but she was so weak, so disoriented. Finally, weakened beyond anything she'd ever felt in her life, she'd accepted his help into the Inn. Where everything just got even more confusing to her.
She had emptied the entire contents of her stomach into the trash bin and when she'd finally felt she was regaining some of her composure, his words again and a feeling that accompanied those words sent her spiraling downwards again...had that been Dameon's voice she'd heard? At the moment she hadn't the strength to figure it out. Her head was buried in the trash bin again. She felt his touch, she'd spoken what she'd had the strength to. She couldn't communicate telepathically...she was so very scared. What was happening to her? His arms embraced her, his words floated into her mind, yet Reanna could do nothing. She was utterly and completely powerless in all aspects of speaking.
Again she'd fall into the darkness as her body slowly began to shut down.
She was terrified. She could hear her own words in her mind, but they could not be spoken, could not be projected. What was happening to her?
She was deathly pale in his arms as she'd allowed herself to be carried back to the Manor. Her skin was cold to the touch and a light sheen of sweat covered her body. She was limp and lifeless in his arms. Her head had fallen limply against his chest, her arms hung down from their bodies. Her breathing was slow and very shallow.
