She remembered following him outside. She'd been worried for him. He'd drank so much tonight. She remembered taking the concoction from Icer to deliver to him, for him to drink of it to quell his drunken state. She remembered standing in front of him and watching him drink it down and then there was nothing...

When she'd come to, she'd been standing there in front of him. He looked so different...she felt so very ill. What had happened to her? Her first conscious fear was that Jupiter's Demon had attacked her psyche again and she'd been unable to stay conscious for the duration of it all. Her head ached so horrendously it caused fits and waves of nausea to overcome her. She'd stumbled back from Feilas and stuttered. She was trying to make sense of what he was saying to her...but she was so weak, so disoriented. Finally, weakened beyond anything she'd ever felt in her life, she'd accepted his help into the Inn. Where everything just got even more confusing to her.

She had emptied the entire contents of her stomach into the trash bin and when she'd finally felt she was regaining some of her composure, his words again and a feeling that accompanied those words sent her spiraling downwards again...had that been Dameon's voice she'd heard? At the moment she hadn't the strength to figure it out. Her head was buried in the trash bin again. She felt his touch, she'd spoken what she'd had the strength to. She couldn't communicate telepathically...she was so very scared. What was happening to her? His arms embraced her, his words floated into her mind, yet Reanna could do nothing. She was utterly and completely powerless in all aspects of speaking.

Again she'd fall into the darkness as her body slowly began to shut down.

She was terrified. She could hear her own words in her mind, but they could not be spoken, could not be projected. What was happening to her?

She was deathly pale in his arms as she'd allowed herself to be carried back to the Manor. Her skin was cold to the touch and a light sheen of sweat covered her body. She was limp and lifeless in his arms. Her head had fallen limply against his chest, her arms hung down from their bodies. Her breathing was slow and very shallow.

"So, what do you think?"

"Not sure. Doesn't seem like anyone has intruded into her mind."

"Then what might 'ave caused 'er to fall ill like this?"

"No idea."

By the time Reanna would have known what was going on, she would find herself laying on an examination table in Ness' lab. He and Dameon were standing over her, discussing what could be the cause of her current condition.

Ness had already performed a telepathic scan during her unconciousness, but to no avail. It would seem that Jupiter's Demon hadn't touched her recently, and that this was a completely different issue.

"Well," Dameon said, "is there anything we can do? Do you 'ave any medicines or gadgets that can give 'er some energy?" His voice was obviously shaken, full of worry.

"No need," Ness said, placing his hands on his hips. "She's stable right now. Weak beyond all belief, but stable. There's no telling when she'll come to, but there's really nothing for me to do at this point."

She had never been so alone in her life.

She had never felt such fear in her life.

The blackness...the emptiness that surrounded her very being was so thick and so ... empty. In the hours that Rea had laid there, unconscious and lifeless. There had been no activity of her mind. No visions...no attacks. There was simply...nothing. There was no past, present...there was no future. It seemed that her body was merely...empty. There were organs, the vitals ones of course. Breathing and a heartbeat...but other than that, in those hours it seemed as if Rea was not there, but her body was.

Many hours later, through that piercing darkness she'd heard voices...

What were they saying?

She couldn't make it out quite clearly...merely bits and pieces here and there.

Where was she?

Was that...Jonas' voice?

She tried to call out to him. But she could not speak. The best she'd managed was a muffled murmur that was quite incoherent. Ness and Dameon...some bit of relief managed to creep it's way into her body as she heard their voices. What were they talking about? She was quite fine. She'd attempt in vain to push herself into a sitting position, but her body would not oblige her. Her hand twitched as it lay next to her.

Her eyes slowly fluttered open. She'd had to blink several times to attempt to get her bearings, and even then she was completely disoriented. Silver eyes, with flecks of gold in the irises flickered very slowly as she blinked up at the ceiling in Ness' Lab.

Very slowly, the area around Rea began to shift. Slowly, she became emersed in a white light. Quite involuntarily, she floated to a standing position, her feet resting down in what would feel and eventually look like a field of soft green grass.

Eventually, the light above her formed into a sunlit sky, with scattered white and fluffy clouds here and there. The air was clean, fresh. A breeze brushed past her cheek. The wind smelled sweet. Like clover, honey and fresh morning dew all rolled into one.

And then he stood before her.

In the field, with naught but a long white robe shrouded in a light blue cloak. His golden blonde hair ruffled in the breeze, his emerald hues peered to her softly. Warmly. A feeling of comfort and ease was meant to wash over her.

His modest white feathered wings ruffled a bit from underneath his cloak as he approached her. By his face, she could easily recognize him as the cleric. The white wizard. This was clearly the face of Jonas.

"Hello Reanna," he said with his usual soft tone, free of sorrow or worry and wrapped up in peacefulness and soothing. "Don't be alarmed. I've not taken you anywhere. You are still quite secure on Ness' examining table."

He giggled a little bit, looking around at the created scenery.

"But I figure this is a much more inviting environment for us to chat in, compared to the darkness your mind was previously enveloped in. You are safe here. Now tell me, do you know what happened last night?"

As quick as her eyes had opened for those few moments, they fluttered shut once more, a soft moan escaped Rea's lips as she lay there, in what seemed to be sleep now.

Rea blinked quite a few times at the image before her. She looked around wildly at her surroundings. Extremely disoriented. it took her a few moments to realize...that this was not one of Jupiter's Demon's nasty tricks...but instead...could it really be? Silver eyes, flecked with gold in the irises widened at the sight before her. His words were soothing in her mind.

On Ness' examine table, a smile would turn her lips, even as her body did not respond to anything they said or did. But...she'd look peaceful to them.

Jonas' presence had always brought Rea a sort of calm. A soothingness that was sweet to the heart and kind to the mind. Her head would cant to Jonas' in this...vision he'd offered. "Jonas? Is that...really you?" She'd take a step forward towards him. A shaky hand extended towards him. She wanted to know...could it possibly really be? Rea had always believed that Angels existed in some place...in some time around the world. But to her memory, she had never been face to face with one before Jonas.

She was scared. Not of him. Not of this. But she was scared of what was happening to her. "Jonas, where...where are we? What is happening to me Jonas?" She tried to take everything in stride, but she was happy to see Jonas. She wanted to hug him, to bury her face against his chest and have him will everything away. In the short time that she'd known him, Jonas was always to her..her calming point, her voice of reason...She'd had him alone to thank for the courage enough to tell Dameon of how she'd felt...him alone to thank for helping her realize she was not crazy, but gifted.

"Last night?" She'd blink a moment, silver-gold eyes flickered a moment in recollection. "I do not remember much. We were in the Inn. Feilas, Icer and I. He'd drank entirely to much. Words were spoken from him and in alarm and worry I'd followed him outside with a concoction that Icer had told me to give him to quell the drunkeness. I remember seeing him drink and that was the last I remembered before I was standing in front him." A soft sigh escaped her lips. "I remember my head hurting very much. It was like nothing I'd ever known. Waves of nausea washed over me and Feilas kept saying something about me changing." She shook her head. "As much as I care for him, I believe he might have been seeing things. Other than that..." She paused a moment, a shrug offered to him. "I only remember being extremely weak, more so than I have ever in my entire life. I could not speak, could not move well enough on my own, I could not even communicate telepathically..."

This posed another question in her mind...if she could not do any of that...how was Jonas here..now...with her? "I remember Dameon coming and taking me home. And now, now there is just nothing."

"I see..." Jonas smiled a little bit, moving toward her to take the hand she'd extended, clasping it between both of his own and looking into her eyes. "Well, he wasn't imagining things. You'd undergone a sort of shift. But at this point I'm not entirely sure what's happened. I can only speculate. But I do believe the answers are hiding where you can't see them."

He giggled a little at himself, shaking his head slightly and sighing gently.

"I've been enlightened with a great many things while I've been away from you all," he said matter-of-factly. "The spirit realm has held a lot of wisdom I could never have hoped to achieve on the mortal plane. And now I hope to use some of this new power to help you figure yourself out."

He moved away from her slowly, walking out into the field and looking up into the sky. He moved his hands about in the air, clouds moving in from over the horizon and blanketing the ground in shadow, dulling out the light from the sun until the sky was emersed in clouds.

"Don't be afraid," he said over his shoulder to her. "This place is of my own creation. Nothing can harm you here. However, I can use the scenery to open the path to realization."

He then looked up into a specific point in the clouds, rearing a hand back as it began to emit a white glowing light. Like a pitcher with a baseball, he threw his hand upward toward the spot he'd fixated on, a ball of white energy sailing from his hand and into the clouds.

As it made contact, the clouds broke around it, forming a large circular opening, filled with what could only be viewed as a visual portal of white energy. The energy pulsated and flickered in the large circular opening, which took up half of the visable sky above them.

Jonas smiled, dusting his hands off against one another in a cliche up and down motion. He then dropped down into the grass, plopping onto his backside and then laying on his back, sprawling out comfortably before glancing back to Reanna.

"Come join me. The show can't start without you."

Meanwhile, in Ness' lab, Dameon had knelt next to Reanna's examining table, arching a brow as he saw her smile, blinking a few times at her.

"Ness," he said, tilting his head. "She's smiling. She seems comfortable. It's so strange. She seemed to discomforted not long ago, and now she's resting just fine."

Ness stepped to the examining table, placing a hand over Reanna's forehead, his eyes flickering white a few times before he glanced to Dameon.

"Hm," he began, "I can't get a read on her. I mean, everything feels just fine. I mean... still doesn't feel like anyone's intruded, but her psyche has drastically evened out since I checked last."

"So now she just sleeps?" Dameon inquired evenly.

"I'd think so. I mean, maybe her body's finally rested enough from whatever strain she was under. It sucks that Feilas wouldn't tell you anything. Maybe it would help us understand what happened last night."

"I guess we'll just wait for her to wake up." Dameon sighed, keeping knelt next to Reanna and brushing a hand over her cheek gently.

Her entire being shifted at his touch. It was still calming, soothing..more so now more than ever it had been before. And she knew deep within that this was the man she'd once known. She offered a smile to him as she continued to listen to his words. The words pained her in the respect that he was truly gone from them. She would never see him sitting atop the bar in the Inn again with that child-like demeanor, that smile...but she'd shake away the negative thoughts, and simply be soothed in his presence now.

Her head tilted upwards towards the sky, a smile on her face as silver-gold eyes gazed up to them, watching as he parted them and weaved them to his will. A small gasp emitted from her, but nothing more, as she wished not to disturb him. And with those simple words and that child-like smile from him, she knew that nothing could harm her here, nor her body within Ness' lab with Ness and Dameon watching over her.

Questions rumbled in her mind...how and why had Jonas come to her of them all? She'd barely just began to get to know the Clan before he was forced to leave them. It would have made more sense to go to his brother, sister or even Ness. Why her? Again she'd push those thoughts to the back of her mind, for a later day, a later time as she listened to him and nodded to him.

Her laughter was light and the smile on her face was bright as she moved to his side, head canted to the side a bit, confusion flickering in her eyes. "Show? Without me? I'm not sure I understand, Jonas. What's this for?" As she spoke to him though, she would lower herself to the plush grass of the field beneath them, sighing deeply as she breathed in the air and laid back, mimicking his actions.

Within the lab, she'd sigh once more, that smile turning her lips as her head moved just the slightest as if she were looking upwards towards something.

"The change you underwent last night sent a ripple through the spiritual plane," he said calmly, still smiling as he looked up into the opening in the clouds. "Namely, it hit those of us with the whole angelic thing going on. I've been sent for obvious reasons to help you sort it out."

He pointed up toward the white energy opening in the clouds, sighing contentedly as he lay in the grass.

"That viewportal will be how you figure it out," he said. "The keys to unlocking your past lie within what you can no longer actively remember. It's all there, just you've not been able to recall it. Now we will. All you have to do is open your mind. Remember, we're in the plane of your thoughts right now. This place is right smack in the middle of your psyche. So if you just open yourself up with my portal up there to play it all back for you, you'll be able to see what you haven't been able to."

"So, just relax yourself. Clear your thoughts and just let it go. Those events you've got stashed away will surface up there in that little visual representation of your repressed memories. I would examine them myself, but you've got them locked down so good that I can't access them without completely tearing your thoughts apart. This way, you can see them as well, and maybe shed some light onto what it is you truly are."

"Wait what? What change? The spiritual plane? What the hell do the Angels and the Spirits have to do with me Jonas? I'm nothing but a simple demon hunter that is hunted by that which I kill." She shook her head a bit, she was clearly confused with all this, but the mere presence and patience of Jonas, quickly set her at ease again.

She looked to where he pointed, tilting her head to the side as she listened to his words. She bit her lower lip at his final words. She knew she'd hid them well. So well that even in consciousness she could not seek them herself. She sighed softly. She was not prepared for this. She looked up to the portal in the skies and tried to do as he'd bidded her.

It would take Rea quite a few moments to settle enough to clear her mind of everything that there was. To focus on the past...the secrets she'd locked so very deeply away. The pain and memories of a childhood she'd lost so quickly.

At first the images the flickered were blurry, and they were only snippits and mere seconds. So many flashed so quickly up in the portal that one could make nothing from them. "They're going to fast Jonas. I can't make anything of them." She frowned a bit as she watched the rapid flicker of blurry images in the sky.

It would seem that a couple hours would pass of the quickly flickering blurry images in the sky, before Rea heaved a deep breath and focused with all that she could. Forcing the images to slow and steady...and a gasp escaped her lips at the image that the portal had settled on.

Within the portal that Jonas had created in the sky, was the image of a small girl, she could not have been older than four or five. Her hair was dark as the night herself. Her skin of a more healthier ivory tone. Her eyes were hidden as she was looking down to something the young boy beside her was doing. He could be no more older than eight or nine. They were playing in a field lush with crops and greens. Laughter and happiness surrounded them both.

In the background to the children, were a man and a woman. The man had chocolate brown hair, he was tall, handsome. Well built and simply charming. His eyes as he looked to the woman beside him flickered in colors, every now and again. Yet there was something dark about him. In this image, they seemed to be arguing over something. Gestures made by him to her, shakes of heads.

The woman in the image could not be made out to clearly. She was petite compared to the man she stood by. Her hair was so very very light in color to contrast the skies behind her, there was an odd, yet bright glow about her. Very bright she was... She'd only been allowed a glimpse of the woman. And for a brief second the woman turned towards the children in the field, and in turning she looked, almost directly out of the image portal and into the pair on the grass, and her eyes were silver, with gold flecks in the iris. And before Rea could say anything, before anything else was revealed, she'd napped her head back to the man, a bright, near blinding silver light erupted around the man and the woman in the image.

She gasped. Her hand coming to her mouth as she blinked rapidly. Silver eyes, with flecks of gold in their iris eyes turned to Jonas. "Jonas? Jonas, what is the meaning of this vision?" Shaking her head a bit. "I...I do not know any of this..do I?"

Rea was still oblivious that her eyes were now changed, oblivious that her appearance had changed last night, was clearly confused as she looked to Jonas, hoping for answers...explanations...enlightenment....looking for..something.

Back in the lab, her body shifted. Beneath her closed lids, her eyes had begun to move as if in REM sleep. Her hand twitched slightly, fingertips brushed against Dameon's absently, a sigh parting her lips, a gasp. Then her fingers would seek out his own, gripping them tightly a moment, before she'd let go again.

The very ends/tips of her pool of ebony hair that spilled onto and over the examining table that she laid on were slowly beginning to glimmer and shimmer a pale silver color. From the end of her hair, about an inch and half were now silver in color.

Dameon jolted next to Reanna, blinking as he watched her grip his fingers for a second and let go. Leaping to his feet, he looked down to her color-shifting hair, looking frantically to Ness.

"Ness! Look!" He shouted, pointing to her hair. "Something's 'appening! She moves and now 'er 'air's changing! What's going on?!"

Ness ran to Reanna's side, looking her over, seemingly flabbergasted at what he saw.

"What the crap?!" He exclaimed before his eyes flickered white, and he stared calmly down at her. "Dameon... he's here."

Dameon didn't need Ness to say who he meant. He understood who was there, and looked down to Rea, smiling a bit, and taking her hand in his own.

"Well then," he said with a little grin, "she's in good 'ands."

His message sent out to Ness that he was present, Jonas looked over to Reanna and smiled with a shrug.

"All I can assume is that those were your parents. I mean, the man had the same eye-color-changing thing you have, didn't he?"

He pointed again at the viewportal, tilting his head and smiling.

"It's not over yet, I don't think. I'm sure it'll show you more if you let it."

It was some kind of response. Her fingers intertwined with Dameon's within the lab as she sighed softly. But that would be all the response or movement Rea would offer them.

She shook her head blinking at Jonas. The images in the view portal had seemed to be frozen in time. "She can't be Jonas. I look nothing like her. I have black hair. My eyes are not silver. I believe it was silver I had seen. Either or. The man perhaps could be my father. But I've no clue who the woman in this image is."

A confused look as she looked back to the view portal, she sighed once more. Attempting to focus on it. Attempting to let the vision in the portal continue from where it was...

Slowly the images began to flow again, only now there were voices, seemingly centered around the man and woman that were in the middle of the TV like screen.

"She's much to young to know the truth Alyssa. She's but a child. It's not her time." The man shook his head to the woman as they were surrounded in the silvery glow.

"But she must know Marcus, it is the only way. If your senses and my visions, and the words of the Elders prove true. We don't have much time left to tell her. If she does not know or has some inclination. She will never be able to become what she truly can. Her fingers caressed the jawline of her husband. "I know you are frightened for her, but think of it as such. They have both confirmed that in less than a winters time, we will both...come to an end. If they did not believe that she could withstand the truth, they would not have forewarned us, no?"

"Alyssa I am terrified for her. This..this was never supposed to have happened. For our blood to mix was one...for us to have produced a child?" He shook his head a bit as he leaned into her caress. "Perhaps there is a way for us to explain the truth to her, but not to exactly? There are ways that she can be shown...told and not remember it just yet, not until she is strong enough, not until she's ready. Until she has the love and support system that she'd need. Do you understand of what I am asking you Alyssa?"

"I do Marcus, but that is dangerous. If she has false beliefs in those things and attempts this feat, it will surely destroy her. But I guess you are right. It is the safest way we can show her. Will she understand though Marcus? Will she hate us? I cannot bare the thought that our own child would despise us for not telling her the truth...or possibly for what we are and what we have created. But in return...if it were not meant to be, we would not have birthed her." A sigh parting her lips as she turned towards the two playing children. She raised her arms now as a warm breeze swept over the fields, both children slowly crumpled to the grounds, awash with a peaceful slumber. The young girl however was now surrounded in a silvery light as she was lifted by unseen arms and carried to the couple, set within the bright flare of silvery light therein.

Her body arched sharply from the examine table. Her fingers tightened around Dameon's once more, and then her body would go lax once more, but her fingers still were within Dameon's.

Their hands laid upon their daughter...their creation.

The silver aura that emanated from Alyssa grew stronger and more fierce as she spoke words in another language. Marcus' eyes flickered unsteadily within the aura that his wife had created, his own true aura now melded and danced with Alyssa's. The trio, now surrounded in a swirl of sapphire and silver, began to lift from the ground, hovering about three inches off the ground.

The small child that laid in arms unseen between the two, slowly shifted as she now stood between the two. Marcus and Alyssa continued to speak in low voices, each in their own native tongue.

Rea turned to Jonas in the slight intermission of the vision portal. She couldn't really find the words to speak. She'd been watching this...this repressed memory with a mix of emotions that ranged from anger to confusion...to sheer amazement. "Jon...Jonas what is going on? What...what am I? I am not sure I understand this. The child. That child...she looks so very much like me, but yet she doesn't." She turned and squinted towards the vision portal once more. Standing from Jonas' side and moving closer to the vision portal, a shaky hand extended towards it, as if she were reaching for the child. "Jonas...Jonas! The child, look!"

The small child's appearance was now slowly changing. Her eyes flickered open, silver eyes flecked with gold in the irises looked out blankly, her hair as well was slowly changing. From it's ebony color, the child's hair was now a bright, yet pale silver color Her entire form seemed to be awash with the silver light. As the image within the vision portal continued. The child's body grew and began to fill out as if she were aging before Jonas and Reanna's sight.

Rea blinked at the image and stumbled back a bit and ended up tripping and falling onto her hindside on the grass, gasping softly. Her hand coming to cover her mouth as she watched the image play out, as she watched the child grow.

Within the lab, Rea gasped, gripping Dameon's hand a bit tightly now. Her hair was now half ebony and half silver, her skin slowly began to start taking on a silvery glow. One word escaped her seeming sleeping form..."No."

Within the image now, there was another that seemed to play from within the child-woman's mind.

They were only bits and pieces, but enough that Rea would slowly start to make some sort of connection...

A small white tiger cub, ran alongside of the small child. Laughter and giggles from her as they tumbled in the grass of the field. The white tiger pounced the small girl, unharming of her as it nuzzled her neck, tickling her. The child squealing and giggling as she cried out. "Akasho enough that tickles." More fits of giggling would ensue.

The image would flash again and change, the girl now was no more than five or six. The boy no more than nine or ten. Akasho was seen near them in the background. It seemed a quiet and serene scene. The pair of children were playing in the fields when screams sliced through their reality and then the image would flash again.

In and around the small cottage was the growing stench of blood, the two bodies were barely recognizable as formerly being Marcus' and Alyssa's bodies. Other bodies were scattered and slaughtered as well, but the small girl could not discern what manner of being they were.

Rea's body in the lab would thrash violently as tears slid down her cheek. Only a few words spoke in seemingly sleep, "No, please not again."

"Jon...Jonas please make...make it stop. No more please." Though she'd ask of him to stop the images, stop this torment, her eyes stayed fixed on the vision portal. She knew she must see in order to understand, but her pleas would not be answered of course, as she had to watch.

The images flashed and changed again. The child had grown a bit more now, and they were now in a different area. The boy had told her to hide and not speak a word no matter what would happen and she'd abided his words and hid. Through the cracks in the wall she would see him fall in battle and she would bite back a cry as she watched his body dismembered and in a bloody heap. She curled into a ball and wept and wept.

They flashed again, as the images continued to get more violent. The woman was no more than fourteen or fifteen now. Taunted and teased by the children around her. They were poking and slapping at her ankle with swords and sticks. The girl-child cried and wept, begging them to stop. Then it changed again, she was riding atop a massive Serpentine-Dragon creature that was breathing fire down atop the village and it's residents.

Shackles around her wrist and ankles as her naked form was splayed across a bed in a darkened chamber. She was on her stomach, her back exposed to the chains and whips. Her whimpers and cries for help going unanswered as her body thrashed beneath the whips and chains. Manical laughter followed each strike, a rough, calloused hand rubbed roughly over her fresh wounds, across her sex and then around her throat.

Her body thrashed against the examine table, her grip on Dameon's hand was vice like as she shook her head back and forth, tears still sliding down her cheeks.

She turned from the vision portal, the images froze in place, her eyes closed as she shook her head. "Jon..Jonas please. No.. no more."

Dameon could only return the grip upon Rea's hand in the examining room, placing his hand on her head, tears threatening his eyes.

"Ness," he said, "this is getting worse. I don't know what's going on 'ere, but are you sure Jonas is in there?"

"Positive," Ness replied, grabbing a damp cloth and placing it over Rea's forehead. "He's in there, and God only knows what he's dealing with right now."

"I know I 'eard about 'im being spotted in the church," Dameon said shakily, "but I didn't know he could still contact anyone."

"I think," Ness said, holding onto Reanna's arm as she thrashed about, "that it might depend on who he's contacting."

He folded his hands behind his head, looking up at Rea as she watched the images in the view portal. That little smile still played on his lips, and he was as calm as peaceful as only Jonas could be.

"You've seen enough?" He asked, arching a brow. "Do you have all the answers you need? Do you know what you are, yet?"

He slowly rose from the ground, floating up to his feet and raising a palm toward the viewportal. Immediately, the viewportal ceased it's visions, though the white energy screen remained in the sky, in the opening of the clouds.

"Tell me," Jonas said, looking to Reanna once more, "what you make of all these visions."

Her body fell lax again on the examine table. Her fingers intertwined gently again with Dameon's as she seemed to be back in that peaceful slumber once more. Though there would be a look of sheer confusion on her face. Her brows furrowed as if in deep contemplation. Her hair now was entirely silver. Her body glowing silvery even more.

She stammered...Shame touched her features a moment, at the realization at what Jonas had seen of her. "I..am sorry you had to see that Jonas...but I...I do not know Jon..Jonas. Not with a certainity. Those...those visions the woman in the view portal had. Those are my...my memories. My life before I had come to you and Dameon and the Firebird Clan." She shook her head a bit, turning to look at him. Her eyes were still silver with gold flecks in the irises. "That is the life I lived before...my past. I believe I understand the child is me, the man my father. But the woman...if she is my mother. Why do I not look like her Jonas? She is so...magnificent...beautiful. If anything. I look more of my father in sorts." Another shake of her head.

She began to pace the lush greenery around them. Her hands clasped behind her back. "I would assume that the boy is my brother. The man my father, but the woman..I still cannot place her. They spoke together as if they were one. But again I bring back the point that I look nothing like her. I cannot do the things she does." Another headshake as she looked to him. "What can you tell me of this Jonas?"

In the lab, Dameon shook his head, still holding Reanna's hand, his face visably exhausted.

"This is taking it's toll on me, mate," he said, reaching into his cloak and producing a cigarette. "It's so difficult to watch 'er thrash about and be in such turmoil... I can't even imagine what she's doing through. At least my brother's in there with 'er."

Dameon placed the cigarette between his lips, snapping his fingers with his free hand, the cigarette lighting in a quick flash of flame as he took the first long drag.

"Hey," Ness said, looking up at him. "No smoking in my lab!"

"Bugger off," Dameon retorted. "I'm bloody agitated. You forget who paid for this sodding lab."

"Good point." Ness frowned as he looked at Rea. "She looks so different right now. I wonder what's happening."

Jonas stepped over toward Reanna, smiling brightly at her as the clouds dessipated, the viewportal vanishing and the sky returning to it's former sunlit blue.

He opened his hands toward Reanna, tilting his head a little bit.

"Well," he said, "if you could see yourself outside of here, in the examining room, you'd certainly see that you look much different right now."

He waved his hands about, and slowly white energy began to form behind her, taking the shape of large white angelic wings. He stepped back, observing her with a smile.

"So, how do you think you should figure the rest of this out?"

She blinked at him, canting her head to the side. "What do you mean by that? I look different? How?"

She took a few steps closer to him, curiously now as she blinked at his motions, a look over her shoulders, her eyes went wide, then she giggled a bit, merely thinking Jonas was playing a game. "Wings? Those are cute indeed." She turned back to him. "You are the only one that bares wings, such as that, that I have ever known."

Blinking a moment...her eyes shimmered and flickered. "As for figuring things out. I am not sure. I've come to terms that the boy is my brother, the man my father, but I am still most certainly confused as to who and what the woman was. And in that who and what I am. In many ways seeing her there, reminded me of you...like you are now." Her head canted curiously a moment. "Jonas...the woman. Do you know her, or do you know what manner of being she is?"

Maven Jonas

Jonas smiled at her, nodding his head knowingly and offering her a little wink before he stepped back a bit.

"I do know her," he said, twirling about in the grass and looking skyward. "As for what she is... well, half of what she is is now inside of you, now isn't it?"

He stopped, looking to her and giggling. He then canted his head and dropped his arms to the sides, sighing a bit. He pointed to the wings now protruding from her back.

"I'm not the only one you've known to have wings like that. Give it time, and you'll have them outside of this place as well."

ReannaFalassion

She blinked at him, looking over her shoulder once more to the wings. Then her gaze was back to him. "Wings...half..wait...what? My mother...is ... You mean to tell me that I am...?" Pointing at the wings.

She lowered herself to the grass and shook her head. "All this time...but how...I have no idea how to do this Jonas. She..they're gone. I'm half...Angelic? How did this happen? Why...oh....my. This can't happen now Jonas. I don't know how to use this..this gift. There is no one left to guide me."

Maven Jonas

He threw his arms out to the sides, smiling brightly at her.

"No one to guide you? What do you call me? I mean honestly, if anyone can guide you, your Guardian Angel can."

With those words, the sky above them and grass below them began to glow white, until they were both emersed in it. Rea would feel the ground beneath her disappear, until she was floating in the light. Jonas' wings spread out to his sides, while her's dessipated into the white energy which created them.

"But for now you need to go back to those that are worried over you. I still have work to do before I can see you again. But just remember that you're not alone. Your mother and I will be watching over you. It's up to you to learn the truth about your father."

And then he floated up into the light, disappearing from her view. Rea slowly floated to a laying position, where she would feel the examining table once again beneath her, the senses of her body returning to her concious mind.

She watched him, listened to him. Still so many questions plagued her as she watched him leave her. She reached out to him...in the lab her hand would extend upwards from her body as she reached for Jonas. The words she spoke would be spoken in the lab..."Jonas wait..." But he would be gone and her eyes fluttered open in the lab. They'd changed once more.

No longer the silver with the flecks of gold in the irises, slowly pale lavender eyes would come to focus on the Lab's ceiling. Warmth flowed through her as she blinked again. "D...Dameon?" Slowly she'd attempt to push herself to a sitting position on the table. "Ness?"

Half sitting, half laying Rea blinked about them. Her hair had returned to the normal ebony they'd been accustomed to seeing her visage as. The silvery glow had died down immensely, but traces of it still lingered on her person. She looked between the two men that had stayed by her side during the duration of her comatose period, her head canted to them.

Without a thought, Dameon threw his arms around Reanna, embracing her tightly as she awoke, his cigarette simply dropping to the cold hard floor.

"Thank the gods you're awake, love!" He smiled, sighing into her and shaking his head. "You had us bloody worried, you did."

"Jonas..." Ness said, tilting his head, "wait? What did you see? What happened between you and Jonas wherever you were? Did he help you?"

Dameon kept his arms around Rea, caressing her back as he held her, seemingly unable to let go.

"Don't bombard 'er with questions, Ness," he said without looking to him. "She's 'ad a rough time."

She fell willingly into Dameon's arms, practically crawling off the examining table into his lap as she nuzzled her head against the crook of his neck, sighing deeply. "You .. waited for me, stayed with me." She looked up to him a moment, her eyes filled with tears as shaky fingers caressed his cheek gently.

Then she'd look to Ness, a smile on her face as she spoke to him as well. "And you as well. Thank you." Looking to them both now. "Thank you both."

Another nuzzle into Dameon's neck as she breathed in deeply. Her body shivered slightly, even though there was no chill to the air. Then she'd pull away once more, situated in his lap, so that he may still wrap his arms around her, but also so that she could regard Ness. Always the curious one, she grinned to him.

"Yes Ness. He was there. And he helped me and he will continue to help me, for in ways, he is the only one that can to an extent. He helped me to see into my past. Memories I had locked away of my own accord, and memories...truths that my parents had locked away for my safety."

She took a deep breath, for now was as better a time as any to fill them in. They'd been kind enough, showed enough care and love to have stayed by her. By the looks of the pair, she'd known neither had rested since Dameon had brought her home the other night. So, she told them everything that she knew. Afraid that they'd shy from her knowing the truth, but a part of her knew they would not.

The sun had long since set, once the tale of her and Jonas' encounter had been completed, and Ness, kind hearted that he was, was kind enough to hold his questions until the end. Though Dameon's silence had slightly worried her.

She'd looked away from both their eyes as she regaled the tale to them. Afraid to look them in the eyes. But she would turn now that it was completed...pale lavender eyes flickered to settle a moment on the silver with gold flecks in the irises as she spoke..."And this is all that I know so far. There is still much to be learned as to what exactly my father was...but there is no doubt that my mother was..." She swallowed hard..."an angel."

Dameon simply held Reanna close to him, smiling and caressing her back gently. His eyes were filled with compassion, with understanding and most of all love.

"So," he said whimsically, "one Angel falls, and another is awakened. Well, if Jonas says he will 'elp you through this journey, I'd say you're in rather capable 'ands. Next time you see 'im, thank 'im for me. For taking care of you."

Ness just held his head a bit, walking toward the door.

"Dude, that was intense," he said, arching his neck a bit. "I'm gonna have so many questions once my brain processes all this, but for now I need some sleep."

And with that, Ness exited the lab to head back to the Manor, where his bed awaited.

Dameon looked at Reanna after Ness left, kissing her softly on her cheek and nuzzling her gently.

"You say Jonas was sent by your mother? And that he's now your designated 'Guardian Angel'?" He chuckled a bit, sighing. "Then I'm fairly certain we 'aven't seen the last of 'im. Even if only in dreams."

She nodded to the men that were there with her, sighing softly at Dameon's words. She was still trying to process it all herself, but she knew that denying it any longer would only prove futile. She shuddered in the protective arms of Dameon, nodding her head to Ness. "Thank you Ness for staying with him...with me. I will answer all your questions to the best of my ability when we've all had our rest."

She heard the door quietly shut and she nuzzled back into Dameon, sighing deeply. It felt so good to be in his arms again, despite the confusion that was taking a toll on her body. She believed in Jonas and trusted him, near as much as she trusted his brother. And that alone said quite a bit for the woman.

She pulled away from the nuzzle to gaze deeply into his eyes, they were still silver with flecks of gold in the irises as she canted her head to the side a bit, grinning. "Yes, apparently my mother sent him and yeah...Guardian Angel, imagine that. I'd have never believed it or thought it possible, but it's true." She nuzzled into his neck once more, sighing, her breath, her words a whisper against his flesh. "Yeah. He said he'd be contacting me again soon, once he'd found more of the puzzle. I still don't quite grasp it and the nature of my father yet, but I am sure, in time it will all make more sense than it does now." Another nuzzle to his neck as she stifled a yawn. "I am still quite tired, love. Take me to bed and rest with me? You need it too, I can see the weariness in your eyes."

Smiling, Dameon stood with her cradled in his arms. He slowly made for the door, looking down to her.

"We could stand for some rest, I'm sure," he said. "It's been an ordeal."

And with that, he reached the door and opened it without dropping her. Exiting out into the evening, he made his way with her back to the Manor across the way.
