Hidden away in a two story mansion in the city, was the hidding place of two lovers. One was a demon, the other an angel. Both hidding away from the world to keep their love, a secret. The house was a very stunning and sturdy building. Well kept yard, with a very stunning garden in the backyard. The inside of the house, was just as stunning as the outside of the house it's self.



Lovely pictures hung on the walls, with fine carpets along the floors. High priced furniture, in every room in the house. As well as well paid for servents, that kept the secret of their employers. Their names would be a mystery, untill the day they might beable to tell the world. For now, this would be their hidden home..Allowing the two lovers..to hide in the darkness.

There was the soft scroll of words from that pale hand before it was stowed away in that ivory envelope. Pressing her lips to it she gave a soft sigh. Guiding it down to the table and letting it rest against their one rose as it soaks in a vase of water. Turning on her steps she slips away for now into the light she must go.

Though I walk through the light my heart lingers in the darkness with you. The moments we share there are no others that can compare. Soft hands wrapped around and picked up the rose as she looked at it. Glancing out the window she saw darkness approach. Leaning forwards she read the note with her soft eyes over and over, a soft smile never leaving her face. Tracing his words with her fingers she pressed a kiss to his penned words and then folded it away to stow it in a safe place.

As promised there was a bag of her things he said she could bring. A smile on her face as she lit the fire place. Hope in her heart that he?d be home soon. How she longed to see her dearest Dark Prince and share the darkness with him. Again she'd press the rose to her lips as she watched from the window and waited for her beloved to return to her from the light.

That throat cleared and she turned to see him. Her heart leapt, soared as she did over to him. Wrapping her arms around him she pressed her forehead to his before the steal of a kiss was made. Holding him tightly she traced his features with her eyes as the glitter of her love shown through. Embracing him tightly she never wanted to release him, never wanted the return of the light.

The fire glowed over him as it glowed over her, together at last an angel and demon their happiness spreading through the room. Their glow breaking through their smiles as their loving silence said all their words for them. Then her voice, it?s gentile tone fell to his ears,? Hello My Dark Prince.. How I?ve missed you so.?

Smiling to his words, his Earth Angel would hold him close. There would be soft murmurs of words to him like his name, and then her smile as she looked into those eyes. Fingers trailing over his face and through his hair they?d spend their night basking in each other?s bliss. From sun set to sun rise the lovers had no cares, safe in the mansion, together where no eyes would see them.

Two separate lives by day, but as the darkness comes together they come? Together they spend the life they long for and desire.

Rising to meet the light with bitter distaste she grimaced and closed the blinds as she went to dress. Sliding down the stairs she moved instantly to the table and to his letter, the only thing that would comfort her through the day and it?s painfully bright reminder of the lack of him. Reading it over and over her heart would soar and fall at the same time. Pressing her lips to the penned words as she always did she folded it slowly and stowed it away in a safe place.

Leaning over she grabbed her own paper and pen. The smell of her sweet scent was to linger there. The smooth scroll of her words would come and touch that paper before it was folded and stowed in that ivory pocket addressed for his eyes only. Leaving it on the table, but not before she kissed the envelope, she turned to start her day, leaving her words behind to express her desires while she was away.

How the light torments me with its? bright laughter at the blinding of the darkness, I never knew it could be so cruel. The hours of the day will be torture to me as they creep by. Mine love, my sweet beloved how I will miss you so. I will long for your embrace, for soft kisses as they fall from your lips. I will keep you in my heart forever, where our love will grow and always be safe. I will walk through the light once more and know that the darkness will come once again. Moving slowly towards their home she trailed her fingers over the gates with a happy sigh. Glancing back as she locked the gates she was sure it would look like her returning home and not stealing away. Two separate lives left behind once those gates locked those lives were left behind. Moving through the path that winded to the door she knew all to well that her Dark Prince knew she was here.

As her slender figure slid passed the door her wings unfolded and draped at her back. Yes she was an angel, but those white wings were for his eyes only, for they were his gift to her. Moving over to the fire and that chair she would slide down and into his lap slowly. Pressing a kiss to his lips she would let her voice trail softly from her lips,? Good evening my Dark Prince? How I have missed thee so.?

Ren tossed as she rolled over to coil an arm around him. Blonde hair covered her face in wisps of tendrils. Blue eyes opened as she looked around for a moment. Her body shifted up and eyes narrowed. He wasn't there.

There was a blank stare into the room as she looked for his figure. Slowly she slid from her spot and wrapped a white bath robe around her figure. Soft bare foot falls made their way over the wooden floors as she moved down the hall and into the room. Seeing the table and the note left behind her hand reached out.

Blue eyes read the letter slowly and she swallowed. Shifting on her feet she looked towards the fire. Little did she know there would be almost a month of waiting for his return. Always lingering on a promise, on the hope that there would be a return home.

Sitting by the fire there came a knock. Standing up slowly Ren noted the three weeks passed. Moving to the door with soft grace she turned the knob slowly and the door came open. Blue hues rested on a boy who seemed smiling with glee. Extending his hand and showing a letter to her he said softly," For the mad'am of the house. Ren Majin."

Taking the letter she unfolded it slowly. Biting her lip with a gasp as she read the oh so recognizable scroll. There was a gold coin to the boy as she sent him on his way. A near slam of the door and she rushed down the hall. Boxes pulled out as she rummaged through them for that blue dress. There was a quick changed and a white coat rested on her shoulders, the very one she had been given by him.

Biting her lip she turned and with a bounce of feet into heels she rushed out the door and towards the inn. Her prince was coming home!

School Girl... Giggly School Girl. That was Ren as she turned on the bar. Rambling a mile a minuet as she grinned widely. Little had she known to stay at home would have been the better idea. As she sat there speaking with friends the dare came.

Shifting into her oreo dragon form she smiled a fanged smile at her friends. That's when the scent came. That scent that meant him. Sliding over to the door she waited until her came. And oh what a reunion.

After a chunk of missing hair, a few questions asked, Ren practically sobbed at his return. She had missed him so. There was a giggle on her lips for the rest of the night. Nothing could ruin it. Nothing.

In his arms again was the best feeling she could have ever dreamed of. Yes she had sought Wolvie before Talon. Yes she would do anything for Wolvie. Yet as Ren looked at Talon she knew what she wanted was right there holding her tight. Caressing his face she whispered," I love you." It was all she could say and do.

Ren would have sobbed to his words if he'd permitted it, but instead she would show him off. Like he seemed to have wanted. Thus breaking their life in darkness.

Eyes would fall on him as she spent their remaining time of light together for the night was coming and the shadows would take them... Faces exposed to the light. At last Ren knew what it felt like to be chose instead of pushed to second. There was something different in this... Something that seemed to show such her what it was like to know love and love in return.

Ren's curse was at last.... Broken.

Ren spent most of the day with him laughing and eventually moving to the glen. That would be where she told him a story of the things that had happened in his absence. Most were not great in any case. Some were hard to speak of as where others made her laugh and smile. Over all the fact that she was able to tell him made the day just so much better.

As the sun slowly began to set Ren started to shiver. Pulled into his arms he and moved her with ease towards the Manor. Towards home. Twas a dream come true to be there with him and as he slid away from the glen her wings spread and wrapped around him.

Together at last in the light. Nothing was better then this. Nothing at all and each moment just seemed to make her glow in joy. Talon was home and he was home with her to walk with her in the light.

Squeaking as she was popped in the butt she flew over the edge of the bed as she jumped. Crashing down to the floor she winced and rubbed her toosh. Peering over the side of the bed she stuck her tongue out at him as she gave the usual stink eye, although she was smiling at his words. Time to go. Their vacation was getting ready to be started. Ren stood swiftly and moved to the closet pulling out a few clothes she giggled at him as she pressed a kiss to his cheek.

Moving to the bath room she took a quick shower, which was a miracle for her really. Stepping out moments later wearing a soft dress that was summer green and ruffled over her hips. Blonde hair was draped over her shoulder as well as she looked at him. Matching heels were on her feet as a scarf wrapped around her neck and several marks that she'd keep till the end of time. Granted where they were going she wasn't quite sure actually where they were going.

Showing what she was wearing for a moment, one of many new out fits he had bought her a few days back. Moving up to him she smiled as she poked his nose and kissed his chin," Then what are we waiting for. Let's get going before people come looking for us." Winking to him she giggled again and looked around.

There was Jock sitting by the bags, making sure that he wasn't forgotten. He wanted to go just as badly as Ren, he didn't want to be forgotten and left behind. Though the prospects of whiskey to himself seemed to tempt him. Still as he looked up at the two he wiggled his tail. He wanted to go.

Jock got full grade A treatment! Scooping him up in her arms she giggled lightly. Following him down the stairs she glanced back at the Manor. Chewing on her lip for but a moment she then turned and stepped into the carriage. Setting down the pup first she looked back at Talon with a soft smile. Climbing in she leaned back in her seat and sighed contently as her eyes closed.

The carriage moved and she opened her eyes to smile at Talon, half startled when he said," We're here." Looking out the window she swallowed. Looking at the place she smiled to Talon," Where are we?" Smiling as the warmth hit her cheeks. Stepping out slowly she turned and looked at Talon as Jock dive bombed into the snow.

Nosgoth, Darkmere had never told her about it. Eyes searching the area as Talon unpacked the carriage she spun slightly. Blonde hair twirled around her neck to one shoulder as they rested on Talon again. Jock off in his own little world bouncing happily as she followed him in the house.

Sighing happily at the sight of such a peaceful place she took that time Talon was taking their room to look around. Fingers grazing the kitchen counter tops as she moved through it. To the comforting little living room. Smiling as he joined her again.

When he pulled her into a hug she smiled more. Eskimo kiss was given as fingers went up to caress his face. Brushing strands of hair from his eyes so she could look at them better she sighed," I know I will." Was whispered softly from her lips as eyes remained deeply lost in his.

Ren watched him as he prepared breakfast. Constantly she smiled to him to reassure him she was alright. Even if her mind was moving a mile a minuet on a few things. Blonde hair seemed to hold weight on her shoulders like nothing before. Fingers traced those strands and brought the bleached mess to her eyes. Looking at them she swallowed. Everything about her seemed so different now. Free from those crystals she wasn't sure what to do any more.

Head turned towards one of the windows and she looked out at the snow as this warm world seemed to seep into her pale skin. There was just so much about her that didn't seem to fit any more with who she was only months ago. Stepping out of the kitchen she looked out the window, though obviously she was looking at her reflection. Finger tapped the glass as she looked at her clothes, they were so childish compared to what she was now.

Ren would just stand there for now, waiting for Talon's call of food as she seemed to asses the things that needed to change. It seemed she had one more thing on her list to do for phases ala Ren and the vacation was the way to go about it.
